[CNN] Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell acknowledged Friday that the battle over the Iran nuclear deal may now have to wait until the next president takes office, even as he vowed to tee up another vote on the issue to show that a bipartisan majority in Congress disdains the accord.
In a wide-ranging interview with CNN, the Kentucky Republican said that he would hold another vote to reject the Iran nuclear agreement next week to send a message to the White House that politicians in both parties oppose the nuclear agreement. Four Democrats joined every Senate Republican in opposing the Iran deal on Thursday, but that wasn't enough to overcome a filibuster mounted by other Democrats.
If the votes don't change next week, McConnell said that "this vote stands" and will now be "a defining issue" in the 2016 elections.
"It's an agreement between Barack Obama Jedi mind meld... and the Iranian regime," McConnell said. "And it will be reviewed again in a year and a half from now. It doesn't have the force of law that a treaty would've had. So his deal is a unilateral deal with Iran is something that he can try to implement over the next year and a half. And if the next president wants to take a look at it, (he or she) is free to do it."

Yes McConnel, it is a defining issue. But not in the way you are thinking. It is a motivator and reason fro the removal of YOU and Boehner and the other assholes who abdicated their responsibility when you, McConnel, ramrodded Corker's bill thru Congress that made it nearly impossible to block - and now YOU are blocking the only leagal recourse which is to declare that Obama has not met the requirement for the law and thus rendering the agreement null and void.
It is YOU McConnell, who will be made to pay the price for your disingenuous conduct and craven cowardice.

Yea, well, by then it'll be too late. On the other hand, it's an opportunity to bring "World Community" views on ME and Israel's place in ME a bit closer to reality.

This guy shows zero leadership. Both he and Boner are disgraces to those who voted for them.

What are they going to do? Continue playing with themselves? This is just kicking the can down the road. The Pubs flubbed this at every turn. I hope they all get replaced by Joe Fvcking McDoke from Podunk Junction who has never been to Washington. Same with the spineless Donks who put their communist party above this country. Both parties ought to be worrying about the voters in fly-over country ratcheting things up several notches. If the people ever turn violent, they are going to have a lot more to worry about than their lifetime jobs. I think they are very insulated in Washington and they have no sense of the frustration, disenfranchisement, and anger that is across the land.

Look you guys. Why this venom against McConnell? Obama could have proceeded exactly as he has done without the Corker bill, and left Congress completely out of it. Would that really have been better?
This way the traitorous democrats who voted to filibuster are directly responsible for this executive action, along with Obama.
What exactly should McConnell have done?
And what have you done to stop Obama's action?
Your comments in blaming Republicans will help the traitors retain filibuster control and help elect a Democrat as president.
Won't that be wonderful!
So please get your heads out of your behinds and start vilifying your enemies rather than your allies.
[Bus Insider] Washington (AFP) - US President Barack Obama has promised that the United States will admit 10,000 Syrian refugees for resettlement over the next 12 months, after criticism that America is not doing enough.
But this would represent a huge increase in the number of families arriving on US soil. In the more that four years since fighting erupted barely 1,800 Syrians have been welcomed here.
Meanwhile, obstacles have stretched the approval process for those already registered and vetted by the UN's refugee agency to almost two years per case.
So how will Obama's promise be delivered and what hurdles are keeping the refugees from arriving sooner?

Not thinking right. Fly them all into Tijuana with border jumping money. Have the BATF oversee the area, give the local honchos firearms in exchange price controls on trafficking fees. Blame any deaths on racism, firearm related on 2nd Ammendment. Sanctuary in California.
Even if the tyrant means 10,000 per month for 12 months, with only 200 hordes per flight, that is a bit less than only two flights per day.
Everyone really excited about Little Aleppo? I know I am.
