[BREITBART] In an interview with the City's ABC affiliate, Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby insisted that there is no connection between the recent social unrest and riots and the city's growing murder rate. Mosby also blamed Democratic Presidential candidate and former Baltimore Mayor Martin O'Malley ...former Democratic governor of Maryland and aspiring presidential candidate, known locally as The One-Man Economic Wrecking Crew. O'Malley was elected to his second term driven by union support and near-Stalinesque vote margins in Baltimore city (82%) and Prince George's County (88%). He presided over more than 40 tax or fee increases, including a rain tax and a flush tax... for setting the stage for this year's mounting violence.
During the taping of the local show "Square Off," Maryland Shock Trauma physician-in-chief Dr. Thomas Scalea said the worsening violence in the city "seems temporally related to the riots."
But Mosby completely disagreed with that assessment. "I think the violence was already going up. When you look at January, it was already like 28 murders," she said.
Mosby then went on to blame the city's violence troubles on former Baltimore Mayor Martin O'Malley, who later went on to become Governor of the state and is now a candidate for the Democratic nomination for president.
Mosby claimed that O'Malley's "zero tolerance" policies led to a climate of mistrust between residents and the police force and despite that O'Malley hasn't headed the city for eight years, those sour feelings have somehow fueled the city's violence this year.
"I think violence is cyclical, and I think we're seeing the effects of policies that have not worked," Mosby continued. "I mean, there's a number of old policies that we are seeing the result of. That distrust of communities, where communities don't want to step forward and say who killed a 3-year-old -- it's a direct result of these failed policies."

"It's all Bush's fault" descending to the masses?

Interestingly enough, I was in that beloved city last week for business. I was picked up by my UBER driver at the airport. Turns out he is a Baltimore cop of 10 years and is vested and leaving as soon as he can. No support from upper levels. BTW Batts was hired (late of Oakland, CA fame) by Mosby evidently because she had an affair with him when she was there, or so the story goes. The fish stinks from the head down..I'm actually hoping we lose this account and I never have to visit that upholstered cesspool again.

I believe Mayor "Short Bus" Rawlings-Blake does the hiring/firing of the Police Chief

Baltimore's Exploding Violence can be traced to people who believe they have more to gain by using violence than those who don't. People make a choice. This is who they really are when given the opportunity. They are not 'victims', they're the perp of their own destiny.

Baltamore's exploding violence is entirely based on racism. It has everything to do with the community preferring thugs who prey on the community over cops trying to protect people because of the color of each groups skin.
They can sugar-coat it however they want but If we don't start calling racism by its name the problem will never be resolved.
[BREITBART] A riot with over 100 anti-police protesters smashed windows and protested the police in Washington State’s capitol city of Olympia, late Friday. The black-clad protestors carried clubs as they marched near downtown Olympia. They shouted “fuck the police” and said they were protesting “Nazis.”

(slipping into Wm F Buckley mode)
AWWchewlly, I would hazard a guess that most of the cops' parents were, in fact, married. The protesters, on the other hand...

Kids will be quite surprised what happens to them when the cops start sitting it out, and armed individuals take up the defense of life and property. Lots of dead Black Blocin that future.
In a true anarchy, the first against the wall are usually the anarchists.

Wait till they see the militia in action. Guess who they'll be screaming for.
Dunno how much presence the militia has in Washington.
California has a very active and professional militia movement that works with local law enforcement and first respondents and running into certain towns/neighborhoods would not be a very smart for these punks.

The idea of a militia (not really thought of in those terms) is one reason why rioting and looting generally sticks to the poor communities. They'll get free stuff, get money to rebuild from guilt riddled politicians, and find that there are less and less stores returning each time.
No riots or incidents in Compton when Straight out of Compton showed up in theaters because Compton no longer has any theaters.
[AOL] Gov. Jerry Governor Moonbeam Brown ... those who ignore history are bound to repeat it ... has made climate change the centerpiece of his final tenure by laying out the most aggressive benchmark in North America, which would reduce Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,'s carbon footprint and boost the state's renewable energy use to 50 percent in 15 years.
Securing legislation requiring that standard in the world's eighth-largest economy would be a timely win for Brown before international leaders meet in Gay Paree in November for the United Nations ...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks... climate change conference. Brown is likely to attend the conference, but he has not said so officially.
But first, the Democratic governor has to break through a logjam in his own party in the final week of the legislative session.
Many Assembly Democrats -- including moderates and those representing less wealthy districts -- are concerned that the ambitious proposal to cut petroleum use by half, boost renewable electricity use to 50 percent and double energy efficiency in existing buildings will hurt California's economy and working-class residents.

Hey, as far as I'm concerned, they can ban manufacturing in the US all they want, as long as they put up a couple hundred percent tarriff on the stuff imported from China. I want everyone suffering in the rice paddies together. None of this "You have to be poor because Climate! but I get to enjoy all the riches of capitalism with the ipads that got marked up 200%."
