[Breitbart] Former president Bill Clinton's senior adviser ran the private email network that Hillary Clinton used to conduct official government business when she was Secretary of State, Breitbart News has learned.
Hillary Clinton, who is under federal investigation for allegedly allowing classified information to end up in the hands of non-government workers without a security clearance, paid a company called "Perfect Privacy, LLC" to cover up the true identity of the person running her email network. Now we know why.
Bill Clinton's senior adviser Justin Cooper was the man responsible for running the email network, according to archived Internet records. Cooper also works as a top fundraiser for the Clinton Foundation. He also serves as a senior adviser to Teneo Holdings, a private corporate advisory and investment banking firm founded by former Bill Clinton adviser Doug Band. Cooper has never worked for the State Department. Teneo leadership team.
Cooper was listed as the registrant for Hillary Clinton's private email domain clintonemail.com when Hillary Clinton left the State Department. Cooper was also listed as the administrative and technical contact for the domain.
Cooper was listed as the registrant as recently as January 30, 2013. Thus, Clinton paid "Perfect Privacy, LLC," a company that takes over registrant duties and enters its own meaningless Florida contact information into domain databases to hide the true owner, after she left the State Department.
Cooper also registered the domain presidentclinton.com, which was used by top Clinton Foundation staffers.
As Breitbart News reported, Hillary's server for clintonemail.com and the Foundation-run presidentclinton.com shared an email network and a physical location in New York City while Hillary Clinton worked at the State Department. Looks like the drip, drip, drip may soon be a gully washer.

Isn't Teneo the same company that compensated doubletriple quadruple-employed Huma Abedin?
Why yes, yes it is: While continuing her work at the State Department, in the latter half of 2012, she also worked for Teneo, a strategic consulting firm, which was founded by Doug Band, a former adviser to President Bill Clinton. Teneo has advised corporate clients like Coca-Cola and MF Global, the collapsed brokerage firm run by Jon S. Corzine, a former governor of New Jersey
Ms. Abedin served as a consultant to the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation and worked in a personal capacity for Mrs. Clinton as she prepared to transition out of her job as secretary of state.

I doubt there's any actual work involved, the comp package is essentially a DoS bonus and 'hush money.'
Appears the FBI "A-Team" has been given a free hand. How soon will we begin seeing indictments ?

Monica Crowley had an interesting commentary this a.m. that basically said the same thing, i.e. the investigation will go forward if Obama lets it go forward. Crowley's last paragraph is interesting: "If Mr. Obama holds the meaningful cards in this bloody negotiation, he may greenlight a special prosecutor or indictment of Mrs. Clinton. They are in a political death match, for their own futures, and the future of the party, the Obama revolution and the country. It won't end until one side is destroyed." Maybe a bit of hyperbole but maybe true also. Pass the popcorn with lots of butter please.

Bill "Sez right here we have an open relay going"
Hill "Can we charge for that?"
Hill "I mean how much do you figure we can charge for that?"
Bill "ask Sydney"

A former State Department staffer who worked on Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private e-mail server this week tried to fend off a subpoena to testify before Congress, saying he would assert his constitutional right not to answer questions to avoid incriminating himself.
The move by Bryan Pagliano, who had worked on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign before setting up the server in her New York home in 2009, came in a Monday letter from his lawyer to the House panel investigating the 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
Someone has to take the fall. Bryan is the first but he won't be the last. He can take the Fifth now but if the FBI has the goods on him he's going to roll. That's why you don't offer him immunity: you sweat him, and let he and his lawyer wonder a good long while just how much the FBI has on him. Play it right and he rolls. He'll plead to some misdemeanor or a small felony charge, and then rat out the people above him.
The professionals understand how to walk up the chain. They also understand where the chain ends...
The letter cited the ongoing FBI inquiry into the security of Clinton’s e-mail system, and it quoted a Supreme Court ruling in which justices described the Fifth Amendment as protecting “innocent men . . . who otherwise might be ensnared by ambiguous circumstances.’ ”
Thousands of e-mails that have been released by the State Department as part of a public records lawsuit show Clinton herself writing at least six e-mails containing information that has since been deemed classified. Large portions of those e-mails were redacted before their release, on the argument that their publication could harm national security.
“While we understand that Mr. Pagliano’s response to this subpoena may be controversial in the current political environment, we hope that the members of the Select Committee will respect our client’s right to invoke the protections of the Constitution,” his attorney, Mark MacDougall, wrote.
Two other Senate committees also have contacted Pagliano in the past week, according to a copy of the letter, which was obtained by The Washington Post. The requests came from the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Homeland Security Committee, according to people familiar with the requests. The Senate Judiciary Committee confirmed Wednesday that it sought to ask Pagliano about his work for Clinton.
“In response to questions . . . Mr. Pagliano’s legal counsel told the committee yesterday that he would plead the Fifth to any and all questions if he were compelled to testify,” a spokesperson for committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) said in a statement.
Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), the chairman of the House Benghazi committee, had subpoenaed the computer staffer Aug. 11 and ordered that he appear for questioning before the committee Sept. 10. Gowdy also demanded that Pagliano provide documents related to the servers or systems controlled or owned by Clinton from 2009 to 2013.
Pagliano, who worked in the State Department’s information-technology department from May 2009 until February 2013, left the agency when Clinton departed as secretary. He now works for a technology contractor that provides some services to the State Department.
The revolving door works for both the great and the lowly...
The committee’s ranking Democrat, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), complained yesterday that Gowdy unilaterally issued the subpoena. He said the subpoena of a low-level aide is one of several signs that Gowdy is using the committee for the political purpose of trying to smear a Democratic presidential candidate.

This is only happening because the Obama administration detests the Clinton wing of the party. Good luck getting progress on the Losi Lerner or EPA fronts.

Most transparent administration ever. Just imagine if this labels were changed, and this was a Republican in the Presidency, and a liberal bête noir doing all the stuff Hillary did. You'd have people talking of criminal charges for the SecState and " what did de know and when did he know it" impeachment talk about the President

What I think would be absolutely delicious would be for Hillary to plead the fifth. I realize that legally pleading the fifth doesn't mean you are guilty, and juries are cautioned not to think that. However, most people think the only reason for pleading the fifth is that you are GUILTY.
Of course, Hillary is too smart to explicitly plead the fifth. She will dance around the question, obfuscate, and if necessary lie in a way that makes it difficult to prosecute her for perjury.

Pagliano has probably heard of Ft. Marcy Park. Of course then Obama is from Chicago and there is the Chicago Way. Something to consider too.
Maybe everyone should take up a collection and pay the hacker his $500K to find out what the Hillary's emails say. That shouldn't be too difficult with "crowd-funding" techniques.

If Champ really wants to wreck Hillary he can do it today in a way that absolutely, positively is legal, constitutional and seemingly above reproach.
Ready? Sure you're ready? Okay --
-- pardon her. Today.
Use the presidential power of pardon and announce that he's pardoning Hilarity for all crimes that she may have committed while Secretary of State.
Do that and her presidential bid is OVER.
Why?
Because, once pardoned, she can be compelled by the Congress (or a prosecutor) to testify and (since she can't be prosecuted) she no longer has the protection of the Fifth (that's settled law). If she refuses to answer questions she's in contempt.
Do you know how delicious it would be to have Trey Gowdy go after her knowing that she HAS to testify?

Steve White, what would stop her from lying on the stand? Or just claiming I don't recall? Also it would be easy enough to spin as Obama trying to protect himself so I doubt he'd do that.
Harpooning the Hildebeest would provide Obama great satisfaction. But do you get more political advantage from doing that immediately, or by slow-walking the FBI investigation and holding the results as the Sword of Obamacles over Hillary and perhaps the entire Clinton Empire?
Of course, you have to burn a few underlings either way.
[Daily Caller] Hillary Clinton violated numerous State Department rules by using privately owned thumb drives to copy 30,000 of her official emails for her lawyer, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation.
I think she would claim that when it comes to technology, she's all thumbs...
The former Secretary of State in December 2014 downloaded 30,000 government emails created during her tenure in the position from her private server onto three commercial thumb drives, which her lawyer, David Kendall, transported to Washington, D.C.
The State Department released 7,000 new Clinton emails Monday, including at least 125 that were treated by the department as classified. The FBI is conducting a criminal investigation into the handling of her emails, more than 400 of which have now been shown to include classified material.
In transferring her emails to private thumb drives, Clinton violated a slew of federal regulations, including those of her own State Department.
The State Department's Foreign Affairs manual prohibits the storage of classified material on any external drive, stating, "the flash drive may only be used for the transfer of unclassified files." Flash and thumb drives are treated inter-changeably by the rules.
Further, unclassified material must be on a "department owned" drive, not a personal or private sector drive.

Although the FBI will likely drag this investigation out as long as it can, we will soon see if that institution is as corrupt as its own Department of Justice.
don't charge Hillary with any criminal violations until after most of the primaries; if fact, it would be really great to have her handcuffed at the Dem Pres Nominating convention
