Afghanistan
130 Nangarhar Residents In Daesh Custody
[Tolo News] Criticizing recent footage released by Daesh that shows the inhumane killing of 10 Afghan civilians, a number of residents of eastern Nangarhar
The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country..
province on Wednesday said that 130 of their community members are themselves in Daesh custody.

Tribal elders in Nangarhar warn that the hostages face the same fate if government does not take steps to save them.

The footage, released two days ago, paints a horrific picture of the Afghan hostages being blown up by Daesh. The video went viral and caused an outcry among Afghans worldwide.

The Taliban group has condemned the Daesh act in a statement, saying that such an act is totally unacceptable.

Meanwhile,
...back at the precinct house, Don Calamari's lawyer was getting even redder in the face...
Malik Kamin, one of the tribal elders of Achin district, said the 10 people were from Achin and Behsud districts of Nangarhar.

A number of residents from the two areas, who have been displaced due to Daesh cruelty, claim that many of their family members are in Daesh custody.

"No human has witnessed such a brutal act so far as Daesh did against civilians in Nangarhar which was seen in footage," said Asadullah, a resident of Nangarhar.

Another resident of Nangarhar, Haji Gul Ahmad, said: "Daesh has created horror in Nangarhar and has taken more than 100 people hostage."

He added: "We want the government to release the hostages."

Meanwhile,
...back at the precinct house, Don Calamari's lawyer was getting even redder in the face...
Nangarhar governor Salim Kunduzi expressed concern
...meaning the brow was mildly wrinkled, the eyebrows drawn slightly together, and a thoughtful expression assumed, not that anything was actually done or indeed that any thought was actually expended...
over the release of the footage, and rejected the claims about the hostages by Daesh.

"I have seen the footage of the killing of 10 Nangarhar residents by Daesh. It is shocking," he told TOLOnews. "We are not aware of more than 100 Nangarhar residents taken hostage by Daesh, and we are trying to stop the activities of the rebel group."

It is said the 10 Nangarhar residents who died in the kaboom were killed in Dire Revenge for a drone strike that killed Daesh members some months back.

According to him, Taliban fighters in Shindand district have been divided into two parts since the appointment of Mansour as Omar's successor.

IS seizes Sirte's District No 3, executes locals, burns local medical centre
[Libya Herald] Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(IS) forces have taken Sirte Residential District No. 3 today, Friday, and started executing young men in the area, mainly members of the Farjan tribe, according to sources in the town. Confirming the reports, a source at Ibn Sina hospital said that bodies, of women as well as men, shot in the head, execution style, had arrived there. Photos of others, "crucified" by IS have been circulating on social media. Other reports speak of 12 decapitated bodies being found near a school in No. 3 district.

There are also unconfirmed reports of the a medical centre in the district which was treating some of the maimed in the fighting being attacked and set on fire by IS.

The sources in Sirte claims that in the three days of fighting as many as between 100 and 160 people in District No. 3 died in the festivities, most of them members of the Farjan tribe. Others put the figure at 70. To escape the fighting, residents in the town are also said to have been fleeing, some reportedly toward Bani Walid.

One source has said that the IS have threatened to demolish the homes in District No. 3 of Farjan members. It is also reported that the Cordoba Mosque in the district has been taken over by IS and renamed "Masjid Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi" after the Jordanian murderous Moslem who was leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq from 2004 until he was killed in a targeted US air raid in 2006. The mosque was central to the outbreak of this week's fighting. The uprising was sparked by the murder on Tuesday by IS of its Salfist imam, Khalid bin Rajab Ferjani. He had refused to hand it over to IS.

District No. 3, with is large Farjani population, had been beyond IS' control since the Islamists took the town.

For its part, the Libyan government has accused the international community of ignoring the killings in Sirte and of betraying Libya.

Abdullah Al-Thinni, whose resignation as prime minister on Tuesday appears to have evaporated, accused IS of genocide and called to the international community to help Libya to crush the organization. He criticised the ban imposed by the Security Council on the supply of arms to Libya as being partly to blame.

It has been widely reported that those who were fighting IS in Sirte had nothing more than Kalshnikovs as weapons, while IS enjoyed the the use of massive heavy weaponry.

In a statement on the government's Facebook page, Thinni said the international community had a moral responsibility for what had happened, accusing it of double standards -- being prepared to fight IS in Iraq and Syria, but turning a blind eye in Libya.

Libya's UN ambassador Ibrahim Dabbashi also demanded that the Security Council to act against the "unprecedented crimes" committed by IS in Sirte.

So far there has been no comment from any foreign government or international organization about the situation.

As for the response of the authorities in Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
, the president of the continuing General National Congress, Nuri Abu Sahmain, has asked the military prosecutor to investigate the withdrawal from Sirte of Misrata's Brigade 166 and other units in May.

Despite an announcement to that effect, Misratan forces have not arrived to relieve the town.

In Tobruk, Sirte member of the House of Representatives Abu Bakr Al-Ghazali called on all the people of Sirte to unite and "eradicate the Kharijites and the corrupt on earth". (The Grandi Mufti of Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
has labelled IS supporters as Kharijites, an 7th century Islamic heresy.)

IS, Ghazali said, had gone too far in Sirte with its "killings, torture and slaughter of the innocent and the poor who are powerless." He called on Khalifa Hafter, the commander general of the Libyan armed forces, to back the uprising in Sirte by providing arms and equipment before it was too late.

The Libya air force has carried out raids against IS target in Sirte but to little effect.

Half-hour air assault on Sirte hits multiple targets
[Libya Herald] Early this evening Daesh positions in Sirte reportedly suffered a series of Arclight airstrikes over a 30 minute period, in an operation which is not characteristic of the Libyan Air Force.

The targets appear to have included the town's internal security complex, the Ouagadougou Conference centre, part of the University campus and the Mahari hotel, some six kilometres to the west of the town. It is said that the missiles or bombs were fired or dropped from high altitudes and inflicted significant damage.

No figures are yet being given for the casualties from these raids. Palls of smoke were seen to be rising in at least two different locations.

The security complex which Daesh had been using as their headquarters was hit in June in an air raid claimed by Libya Dawn
...aka Fajr Libya, the Islamist operation launched to counter that of General Khalifa Haftar (Operation Dignity). It is made up of the Libya Shield militia (Misrata and Moslem Brotherhood), Libya Revolutionaries Operations Room (Moslem Brotherhood), and Tripoli Brigade (close to Abdul Hakim Belhaj, head of Al-Watan party). Financing and moral support come from Turkey and Qatar...
. Some sixteen people were killed in that attack and many injured. The town's Ibn Sina hospital was cleared of existing patients so that the maimed could be treated.

The Ibn Sina hospital has itself been caught up in the fighting in the town between Daesh and locals, which has been raging for three days.

This evening it was reported that at least 85 families had fled to Bani Walid where the municipality was seeking to accommodate them.

It is also being claimed that the twelve decapitated corpses found together today were of carers and the maimed people they had been treating in a make-shift hospital. Daesh fighters allegedly seized and executed them.

37 killed as Daesh and rival group fight for Sirte
Around 37 people have been killed in clashes between Daesh fighters and an Islamist group that is challenging the grip of the ultra-hardliners on the city of Sirte in central Libya, residents said.

The fighting in the hometown of late ruler Muammar Gaddafi typifies the chaos in the oil producer, where two governments, former rebel and Islamist groups battle for control, and is driving families to flee to seek relative safety.

Earlier this week, a Salafist Muslim group and armed residents attacked Daesh fighters in Sirte, located about 500km east of the capital Tripoli, accusing them of killing a prominent preacher in Sirte.

Daesh fighters took over the city in February, expanding their presence in the North African country by exploiting a security vacuum like they did in Iraq and Syria. Fighting raged until early on Friday before dying down when Daesh took back a district which the Salafists and armed residents had tried to seize, residents said.

By noon the city was quiet, giving residents the chance to remove bodies littered in the streets, among them women and children. Around 37 people have been killed in the past two days, residents said.

"Families are leaving Sirte," said a resident. He said Daesh fighters were searching for people with weapons.

A similar battle occurred in the eastern city of Derna in June when Daesh was expelled by rival fighters who teamed up with locals angered by the arrival of foreign militants and clerics. Daesh launched an offensive to retake Derna this week.

Africa Subsaharan
Boko Haram Kill 10 in Cameroon Raid
[AnNahar] Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
Islamists killed 10 people, including two soldiers, and torched several homes during a raid in northern Cameroon
...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there...
, security sources said Thursday.

Wednesday's attack in the town of Blame, near the Nigerian border, led to the deaths "of two soldiers from BIR (an elite army unit) and eight civilians," a security source said. A BIR officer also confirmed the toll.

The Islamists also burnt several houses in the town, which lies near Lake Chad, before retreating to Nigeria, the security source said.

A Cameroonian soldier was killed and two others maimed Tuesday in another Boko Haram attack in the north of the country.

Many of the bandidos Death Eaters are hiding out in Lake Chad, a shallow, marshy water body dotted with hundreds of islets, and in Nigeria's Sambisa Forest near the border with Cameroon.

Nigeria President Gives Army 3 Months to End Boko Haram Attacks

[AnNahar] Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari swore in a new set of military chiefs on Thursday, ordering them to end Boko Haram's bloody six-year Islamist insurgency within three months.
That's definitely a stretch goal, given the organization's demonstrated capabilities, but perhaps regional competition and the quiet efforts of outside professionals will enable it to be accomplished.
"You need to brace up and continue to team up with other stakeholders to come up with a well coordinated joint effort which will bring a desired end to these insurgencies within three months," Buhari told the chiefs in the capital Abuja.

Buhari, who came to power on May 29, quickly replaced the heads of the army, air force and navy as well as the chief of defense in an apparent move to reshape the fight against Boko Haram.

Arabia
Bahrain Arrests 5 Bombing Suspects Allegedly Linked to Iran
[AnNahar] Bahraini authorities have tossed in the clink
... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not...
five suspects, allegedly with links to Iran, in connection with a bombing that killed two coppers last month in the Gulf kingdom, the interior ministry said Thursday.

"Five individuals suspected of orchestrating a deadly kaboom in Bahrain have been arrested," said an interior ministry statement published by the official BNA news agency.

Police chief Major General Tariq al-Hasan said the suspects had links with Iran's Revolutionary Guards and Iran-backed Lebanese movement Hizbullah
...Party of God, a Leb militia inspired, founded, funded and directed by Iran. Hizbullah refers to itself as The Resistance and purports to defend Leb against Israel, with whom it has started and lost one disastrous war to date, though it did claim victory...
The suspects were linked to other "terrorist incidents in Bahrain in recent years," he said in the statement.

The July 28 bombing killed two Bahraini coppers and maimed six others on Sitra island outside the capital Manama, an area often shaken by festivities between security forces and Shiite protesters.

The blast came just days after Bahraini authorities announced they had foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons from Iran.

Hasan said that forensic tests showed that explosives used in the Sitra bombing were similar to substances seized in the smuggling attempt.

The suspects include a 24-year-old identified as Mohammed al-Tooq, who allegedly planted and detonated the bomb, the ministry said.

He "is known to have spent time in Iran following his role in a deadly terrorist attack in 2013 which killed a policeman," it said.

He was also accused of having trained at a Hizbullah camp.

"This is yet another disturbing incident in which Iranian actions are attempting to undermine Bahrain's security and stability," Hasan said.

The tiny but strategic U.S. ally has seen frequent unrest since a Shiite-led uprising erupted four years ago demanding a constitutional monarchy.

Sunni-ruled Bahrain frequently accuses Tehran of backing the unrest.

The Grand Turk
Friday's Turkey vs. PKK Adversarials
One killed in clashes in Turkey's restive southeast

[AlAhram] A man was rubbed out as members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) clashed with Turkish security forces in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
's Kurdish-majority southeast, security sources said Friday.

The 40-year-old man was killed when he was caught in the crossfire of an armed clash between Turkish forces and the separatist PKK gunnies in the southeast city of Diyarbakir, the sources told AFP.

A 29-year-old man was also maimed during festivities that erupted overnight after youths linked to the outlawed PKK opened fire with rifles at police attempting to clear a main road blocked by the bad boys.

Meanwhile,
...back at the bunker, his Excellency called a hurried meeting of his closest advisors. It was to be his last. They discussed the officers's efficiency rating system...
more than two thousand people erupted into the streets in Diyarbakir on Friday to protest the escalating cycle of violence that has left a 2013 ceasefire agreed by the PKK in tatters, an AFP news hound said.

According to an AFP toll, 31 members of the Turkish security forces have since died in attacks blamed on the PKK.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him...
on Friday vowed that Turkey would press on with its relentless campaign against Kurdish bad boys, saying the operations were not "temporary."

"You shall not think they are strong... They are doomed to fail," Erdogan told supporters in his ancestral hometown in Turkey's Black Sea Rize province.

Turkish authorities tossed in the slammer

more than 1,700 suspects since late last month in police raids nationwide targeting suspected members of the PKK as well as IS and the Marxist Revolutionary People's Liberation Party Front (DHKP-C), state-run Anatolia news agency said.

On Friday, police detained at least 39 suspected turbans in raids in several Turkish cities including Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, Anatolia said.

Six people killed, eight wounded in attacks in Turkey's southeast

[AlAhram] Six people were killed and eight maimed on Friday as violence between Kurdish forces of Evil and Turkish soldiers flared up again in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
's southeast, security sources and the military said.

Fighting between the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and the military has broken out almost daily over the last month. The PKK has been hitting military targets after Ankara resumed air strikes on PKK camps in northern Iraq in what it calls a "synchronised war on terror".

Friday's bloodshed came a day before the 31th anniversary of the PKK's first attacks. The group, deemed a terrorist group by both Washington and Ankara, has waged an insurgency for greater Kurdish autonomy that has left 40,000 dead. The latest violence has shelved a recent grinding of the peace processor with Ankara.

Three soldiers were killed and six maimed - one critically - in the southeastern province of Hakkari after PKK gunnies opened fire with long-range rifles and rocket launchers, the military confirmed in a statement. Security sources earlier put the corpse count at four soldiers.

In the eastern province of Bingol, a soldier was killed after a mine laid by murderous Moslems exploded remotely, the provincial governor's office said Two PKK fighters were killed during an operation in response to the attack.

In a separate incident, youths linked to the PKK opened fire with rifles at a police vehicle in the town of Nusaybin bordering Syria early on Friday, wounding two coppers, security sources said..

Turkey Builds Concrete Wall along Syria Border to Avoid Attacks
[ALMANAR.LB] The Turkish military has started building a concrete wall along the border with Syria following a series of attacks, state media said Friday.
All the kewl kids are doing it.
The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) is building the three meter (10 feet) high wall in the Reyhanli district of Hatay province just across from the Syrian town of Atmeh, the official Anatolia news agency said.

The military is also digging ditches just behind the wall, which will stretch eight kilometers (five miles), Anatolia added.
Will the ditches be enough to block the tunnels ISIS is reported to have dug under the border?
A bombing killed 33 people in a mainly Kurdish town in southern The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

on July 20, ending a truce between Ankara and the rebel Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is active in southeastern Turkey.

The toll rose overnight when one of the maimed succumbed to his wounds in hospital.

Turkey said the attack was carried out by the so-called 'Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. group,
...it has been remarked how odd it is that ISIS has concentrated on attacking Erdogan's enemies in Turkey..
. and launched a two-pronged offensive to bomb its Lions of Islam in Syria as well as PKK Lions of Islam in northern Iraq and southeast Turkey.

So far, the operation has focused largely on Kurdish rebels, who have responded by tearing up a 2013 ceasefire and waging a bloody campaign against the security forces.

Hatay is home to thousands of the roughly 1.8 million Syrian refugees who have fled to Turkey to escape the violence at home.

In May 2013 twin boom-mobiles struck the town of Reyhanli, killing 52 people.

Turkey has denied allegations it had failed to do enough to prevent terrorist Lions of Islam crossing its border. But in recent months it has stepped up security, arresting hundreds of suspected terrorists.

Iraq
Airstrikes destroy Daesh-held Fallujah hospital
Local authorities in Iraq's western Anbar province said government airstrikes destroyed a women and children's hospital in Daesh-held territory near the city of Fallujah. At least 22 women and children were killed, a local hospital official said.

The Anbar provincial council said Iraqi warplanes were targeting Daesh militants in the village of Nassaf, 2 kilometres south of Fallujah, when the hospital there was hit on Thursday. In a statement sent to journalists, the council added that at least 53 women and children were killed and wounded in the attack, without providing a breakdown of the alleged casualties.

It called on the Iraqi defence ministry to accept responsibility for the attack and to exert caution when targeting areas with high civilian populations.
Including when the Daesh fighters hide inside the hospitals?
A senior official overseeing operations at several Fallujah-area hospitals said at least 22 women and children were killed in the airstrike. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he's not authorised to talk to reporters. Falah Al Assawi, a member of the Anbar provincial council, confirmed the attack, also blaming government warplanes.

The fall of Fallujah in January 2014 started the Daesh group's dramatic blitz across Iraq. Since then, Daesh group fighters have been advancing in Anbar province, the heartland of Iraq's Sunni minority. Iraqi troops lost the provincial capital, Ramadi, in May after more than a year of fierce clashes. Tens of thousands of civilians have fled the province amid continued fighting.

In July 2014, Human Rights Watch said Iraq's security forces killed at least 75 civilians and wounded hundreds of others in indiscriminate airstrikes on five cities - among them, Fallujah. Among the first orders given by Prime Minister Haider Al Abadi after he was named Iraqi premier in September was for Iraqi security forces to stop shelling areas populated by civilians.

A spokesman for the Iraqi defence ministry, Yahya Rasool, on Friday rejected claims of the airstrike. He said Iraqi troops do not target hospitals, schools or other civilian facilities, even if they are occupied by militants.

"Airstrikes by Iraqi forces are conducted on targets linked to the terrorist organisation," he said. "We carry out airstrikes based on information that we receive from intelligence forces ... We have specific instructions to avoid hitting any targets that provide services to the civilians."

Aamaq, a Daesh-affiliated news agency, posted an online video late Thursday purportedly showing the aftermath of the attack on the hospital, with men, women and children covered in blood, bandages and scars.

group who were planning to launch kabooms during independence day celebrations next week, police and sources said Friday.

The men were plotting to attack churches and a cop shoppe on Monday in the city of Solo, on the main island of Java, when the country celebrates the 70th anniversary of its declaration of independence, police said.

Elite anti-terror police detained the men in the city Wednesday, local police chief Nur Ali told a presser. Solo is the hometown of President Joko Widodo but it is not clear whether he plans to celebrate independence day there.

"Due to the hard work of the police and help from the people, the police managed to foil their plan to conduct terror on August 17," Ali said.

Those arrested were a 29-year-old bombmaker; another man who helped mix explosives; and a third individual who helped with planning and surveying potential targets, he said. He did not reveal their identities.

Chemicals used in bomb-making, explosives and 21 bomb detonators were seized in a series of raids, the officer said.

Police said the men had links to a hard boy network in Syria, without giving more details. A source with the anti-terror police said several IS flags and shirts were seized from them.

The source said the group was given orders and funding by a Indonesian myrmidon who is now an IS member in Syria. The jihadist group controls vast swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria, and bandidos bandidos holy warriors from around the world have flocked to join them.

Hundreds of Indonesians are feared to have joined IS in the Middle East and there are fears that they could revive sophisticated hard boy networks on their return and launch attacks.

The world's most populous Moslem-majority nation has struggled with Islamic extremism for more than a decade and has faced a series of attacks on Western targets, including the 2002 Bali bombings, that left 202 people dead.

However a crackdown has weakened the most dangerous networks, and attacks in recent years have mostly been low-level and targeted domestic security forces.

Abu Sayyaf militant killed in Basilan
[Gulf News] An Abu Sayyaf militant was killed and three other people, including a soldier, were injured in an encounter with Philippine security forces on the island province of Basilan.

Military spokesman Maria Rowena Muyuela said the heavy gun battle that lasted for 15 minutes occurred the town of Sumisip early on Friday morning. He said the troops were on patrol when they clashed with the militants who withdrew and left their slain comrade behind.

Meanwhile, reliable sources disclosed that the Abu Sayyaf beheaded Rodolfo Boligao, the village chief of the island resort of Dapitan City in Zamboanga del Norte, despite his family's payment of a $10,000 ransom. Boligao's decapitated remains were found on Tuesday night which caused his family to demand immediate justice.

Brigadier General Alan Arrojado said found on Boligao's corpse was a note warning the Abu Sayyaf would also behead the two Philippine Coast Guard personnel if their demand for a ransom totalling $20,000 wasn't met.

Ranger gunned down in front of his bride in Thai south
Bangkok Post] A ranger was gunned down by suspected insurgents at his wedding party in front of his bride on Thursday evening in Pattani province.

Anthee Koraree, deputy chief of the Muang district police station, said the shooting occurred at a house in Ban Talubo when 27-year-old groom Arhamad Da-o, who belonged to Pattani Task Force 43, was welcoming guests with his bride. Four gunmen on two motorcycles arrived and one of them walked to Arhamad and fired seven shots at him.

The three other gunmen drew their guns and threatened the guests, telling them not to move. But the attack caused panic and prompted the guests to flee and duck for cover. The gunmen then fled. The ranger succumbed to his wounds while being taken to the hospital.

Police blamed separatist militants for the shooting, since the groom was a ranger.

Terror Networks
Osama bin Laden's son Hamza 'calls for attacks on the West'
[The Telegraph] Al-Qaeda has released a message, purportedly from Osama bin Laden's son Hamza, calling for attacks on London and other western cities.

The audio recording was shared by Jihadists on Twitter, and is the first such message from Hamza bin Laden, who is believed to be either 23 or 24 years old. He had not previously been put forth as an al-Qaeda spokesman, but he has been touted as a future leader of the terror network.

Letters found in Osama bin Laden's Abbottabad compound suggest that he was grooming Hamza as his successful prior to his death in 2011.

The group has been led since that time by Ayman al-Zawahiri, who was bin Laden's right hand man. The message is not the first indication that Hamza bin Laden, bin Laden's youngest son, had joined al-Qaeda's ranks. He is believed to have taken part in attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan as early as 2005.

In the message, a man al-Qaeda claim is Hamza calls for Jihad against America and its allies. He specifically suggests London, Washington, Paris and Tel Aviv as targets for attacks.

Following the 2011 US raid on the compound in Pakistan where Osama bin Laden was living, it was reported that Hamza had been killed alongside his father. White House officials announced his death, before further analysis showed that it was another son, Khaled, who had been killed.

It is unclear where Hamza was at the time of the raid, though it has been reported that he was at the compound but was able to escape. His current whereabouts are unknown.

'Hamza Bin Laden lived the life of jihad with his father throughout AQ's (Al Qaeda) creation in Afghanistan, said Rita Katz, director of SITE Intelligence Group.

"Hamza Bin Laden, son of Usamah bin Laden, gives strategies in continuing global jihad in audio message.

'With Hamza, AQ hopes to renew the popularity of AQ by reviving the brand of "AQ = Bin Laden".

'AQ leadership wants Hamza as a future leader: someone loved & inspirational, without a negative reputation or participation in infighting. 'Hamza Bin Laden calls to move the war from Kabul, Gaza & Baghdad, to Washington, London, Paris & Tel-Aviv. Urges: "This is your duty".

'Hamza Bin Laden urged lone wolf attacks in the US and the West; targeting of Jewish American interests globally.'
Update from The Times of Israel at 12:55 p.m. ET:
The national Jewish community's security arm has asked Jewish institutions to be on the alert after the late Osama bin Laden
... who was laid out deader than a mackerel, right next to the mackerel...
's son called for attacks on Jewish American interests.

The Secure Community Network alert said Friday that Hamza bin Laden, who has ambitions to lead al-Qaeda, the terrorist organization founded by his father, posted an audio message calling "for the targeting of Jewish American interests globally."

The alert by SCN, an arm of Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, said the audio message was confirmed by "reliable sources" in law enforcement and was recorded sometime before June 15.

"While there is no information at this time to suggest a credible or imminent threat as it relates to this call for attacks, terrorist leaders and organizations have stepped up their calls for lone wolf attacks across the globe," said the alert, noting recent attacks on Garland, Texas and Chattanooga, Tennessee, apparently carried out by unaffiliated individuals spurred by myrmidon Islamist calls for violence.

The alert called for increased training for volunteers and staff at Jewish institutions ahead of Rosh Hashanah, including establishing relationships with local law enforcement and reviewing communications and plans for responding to an active shooter.

US bombing of Islamic State rebels surged in July
[Ynet] The US bombing campaign against Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
rebels surged in July as Kurdish fighters pushed into territory held by the Death Eater group in Syria and Iraqi forces prepared an offensive to retake strategic northwestern cities, Pentagon figures showed.

The US military spent an average of $4.6 million per day on bombs and other munitions between July 15 and July 31, nearly double the daily average of $2.33 million spent in the previous month.

Lieutenant Commander Kyle Raines, a front man for US Central Command, said the number of bombs and other munitions used in July increased by 67 percent over the previous month, jumping from 1,686 to 2,829.

One defense official said the late July bombing was the second most intense since the campaign started a year ago, topped only by a two-week period in September when the US-led coalition began operations in Syria.
Dear Lord, will you please grant us a war monger for our next president?
