[IsraelNationalNews] "The obsessive Belgian anti-Israelism originates from three easily identifiable factors, as I pointed out years ago.
The first one combines the Christian anti-Semitic belief with the progressive tradition which identifies 'the Jewish spirit' with capitalism.
A second factor is the neurotic memory of the Shoah and its associated feelings of guilt. This is prevalent in Flanders due to their major war-time collaboration with the German occupiers.
A third factor is the anti-Semitism imported with the Muslim immigration. To obtain the votes of these newcomers and their descendants, Belgian politicians accommodate them by promoting anti-Israel policies.
"Anti-Zionism has become a civil religion in Belgium. Its credo is that the Palestinians are always right and that the Israelis are always wrong. Its bible could read that everything that happens in the Middle East is the fault of Israel." The more things change
[NATION.PK] With problems of extremism taking root in their own soil, western society is increasingly turning towards more right wing, anti-immigrant and borderline racist politics and policies, which had created radicalisation in immigrant populations in the first place. On Friday, David Cameron ... has stated that he is certainly a big Thatcher fan, but I don't know whether that makes me a Thatcherite, which means he's not. Since he is not deeply ideological he lacks core principles and is easily led. He has been described as certainly not a Pitt, Elder or Younger, but he does wear a nice suit so maybe he's Beau Brummel ... , PM of the United Kingdom, asked British-Moslem families to "do more" to stop youth in the country for becoming radicalised. The PM referred to a 17-year-old from northern England who went kaboom! in Iraq and three sisters who abandoned their husbands and are believed to be in Syria with nine children.
European countries like Germany and La Belle France have serious problems with the integration of Moslems in the last thirty years and the public almost refuses to own non-white nationals as truly French and German. Because of colonial ties, La Belle France has a large population of Moslems from North Africa and an influx of 66,000 Moslem immigrants in 2010 alone (the United Kingdom nearly 64,000). Pew forecasts that by 2030, the total Moslem population in Europe will increase from approximately 18 million to nearly 30 million and Moslems will make up more than 10 percent of the total population in 10 countries, including La Belle France. In response European countries are looking for ways to force Moslems to assimilate or to discourage them from immigrating by adopting restrictions on ritual slaughter, circumcision, head coverings and the building of mosques. In other words, the have created the social conditions for isolation, mistrust and radicalisation.
As a consequence of demography, history, ideology, and policy, Western Europe is host to a disconsolate Moslem offspring who are citizens in name but not culturally or socially. Many are willing to integrate and try to climb Europe's steep social ladder, but many cannot. When minorities are not integrated they either die out, or they revolt. Moslems are a global majority, and fading away under hostile conditions in Europe was never likely and sadly the first avenue of resistance was "Islamic Jihad" already on-going in the Middle East and South Asia.
What is happening to Islam is wrong, and all terrorism, killing and preaching of hate by those who support the terrorism of the Taliban, ISIS and Al Qaeda is rightly criticised by Cameron. Yet, if Moslem communities were better integrated into their European communities and did not have to face racism in increasing amounts in the past fifteen years, far less European "citizens" would be leaving their homes in Europe to fight wars alongside "foreigners" in Iraq and Syria. This is a failure of nationalism, national duty and cultural acceptance where French and British people find more in common with ISIS than their own country.

more right wing, anti-immigrant and borderline racist politics and policies, which had created radicalisation in immigrant populations in the first place.
For the past two weeks, Reason, a magazine dedicated to "Free Minds and Free Markets," has been barred by an order from the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York from speaking publicly about a grand jury subpoena that court sent to Reason.com.
The subpoena demanded the records of six people who left hyperbolic comments at the website about the federal judge who oversaw the controversial conviction of Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht. Shortly after the subpoena was issued, the government issued a gag order prohibiting Reason not only from discussing the matter but even acknowledging the existence of the subpoena or the gag order itself. As a wide variety of media outlets have noted, such actions on the part of the government are not only fundamentally misguided and misdirected, they have a tangible chilling effect on free expression by commenters and publications alike.
Yesterday, after preparing an extensive legal brief, Reason asked the US Attorney's Office to join with it in asking that the gag order - now moot and clearly an unconstitutional prior restraint - be lifted. This morning, the US Attorney's Office asked the Court to vacate the order, which it did. We are free to tell the story for the first time.
[SultanKnish] In the UK, Baroness Warsi, Cameron's biggest mistake, blamed Muslim radicalization on the government's refusal to engage with... radicals. Or as she put it, "It is incredibly odd and incredibly worrying that over time more and more individuals, more and more organisations are considered by the government to be beyond the pale and therefore not to be engaged with."
The reason why the government is refusing to "engage" with these organizations is that they support terrorism in one form or another. Warsi is proposing that the UK fight radicalization by mainstreaming it.
Mainstreaming extremism is also Obama's policy. It's the logic behind nearly every Western diplomatic move in the Middle East from the Israel-PLO peace process to the Brotherhood's Arab Spring. And these disasters only created more Islamic terrorism.
The Muslim teenagers headed to join ISIS did not come out of a vacuum. They came from mosques and families that normalized some degree of Islamic Supremacism and viewed some Muslim terrorists as heroes and role models. It's time for Western governments to admit that the ISIS Jihadist is more the product of his parents and his teachers than of social media Jihadis on YouTube and Twitter.
Radicalization doesn't begin with a sheikh on social media. It begins at home. It begins in the mosque. It just ends with ISIS.

Sayeeda Hussain Warsi, Baroness Warsi, PC is a British-Pakistani lawyer, politician and a conservative parliamentarian, who co-chaired the Conservative Party.

Though it was meant as a joke, it turned out to be a deadly serious affair.
When Professor Tim Hunt, the Nobel Prize-winning biochemist, recently addressed a major conference in Seoul about women in science, he said he had three problems with 'girls in laboratories', namely that: 'You fall in love with them, they fall in love with you, and when you criticise them, they cry.'
As a media storm erupted, Hunt insisted that his remarks were made in 'a totally jocular, ironic way'.
But none of that matters to today's self-righteous crusaders against offensive opinions, for whom language is never a laughing matter. Professor Hunt was immediately surrounded online by an outraged Twitter mob demanding his head on a pike.
These boycott-and-ban zealots are not content with exercising their right to criticise somebody who makes an offensive joke. Quivering with self-righteous indignation, they want to silence those who fail to conform to their group-think.
In this case, their bullying worked. The scientific authorities immediately caved in. Not only was Hunt forced to resign from his post at University College London, but he was also dismissed from the science committee of the European Research Council.
So biochemistry loses a brilliant pioneer, while we lose more ground to the forces of oppressive censorship.
For the saga of Tim Hunt's downfall is just the latest example of how a culture of verbal prohibition is taking over society, led by an army of self-appointed militants who see themselves as the guardians of correct thinking. The technical terms for what we see in western institutions of higher learning is gynocracy.

Basically it's a pathetic behavior of University College London. This is a truly ridiculous reason to remove an eminent scholar.
A lame joke? You apologize (better not "I'm sorry that I made you cry"), and that's that.

Anyone see where the SJW types filed a bug report to have a contributor removed from an open source project for his remarks elsewhere? The fascists want to control every aspect of life.

In Greek mythology and Roman mythology, a harpy (plural harpies, Greek: ἅρπυια,[1] harpyia, pronounced [hárpyi̯a]; Latin: harpȳia) was a female monster in the form of a bird with a human face.
personally, I'd classify them along the lines of China's Red Guard.

Hmm... in the game Left4Dead 'witches' are protrayed as young, scantily clad, teenage, girls who are either sitting or wandering around and uncontrollable weeping. Something you might want to console...
Only when you get too close or startle them do they look at you with their glowing red eyes and run to rip you to shreads with their 6" long razor sharp claws. they are one of the major 'monsters' being able to kill with 1 or 2 hits and very tough to kill.
