[The Weekly Standard] One donor - Rilin Enterprises - pledged $2 million in 2013 to the Clinton Foundation's endowment. The company is a privately-held Chinese construction and trade conglomerate and run by billionaire Wang Wenliang, who is also a delegate to the Chinese parliament. Public records show the firm has spent $1.4 million since 2012, lobbying Congress and the State Department. The firm owns a strategic port along the border with North Korea and was also one of the contractors that built the Chinese embassy in Washington.
That contract is a direct tie to the Chinese government, according to Jim Mann, who has written several books on China's relationship with the U.S. With "embassy construction, one of the most important tasks is making sure that there are no bugs there," he said. "So you want to have the closest security and intelligence connections with and approval of the person or company that's going to build your embassy." As Krauthammer says, "It's not over, it's got legs, long legs."

Imagine the hesitation of Chinese intelligence foreign source recruiters. They had to suspect the poultry sum of $2 million USD was a trap.
They were a little chicken, were they...

Just be amused as all the usual Lefty agitators who tar anyone who accepts Koch brothers money as 'bought' argue that all this foreign money hasn't bought the Hildabeast.

When I toured China in 2008,our group was amazed at the number of pictures on display of the Crintons [Mandarin spelling] and local dignitaries. In Xian, The Peking Duck place, Shanghai... You would have thought he used the same tour company or something.
[WASHINGTONPOST] Deep in the Columbia River Gorge, a short drive from the Bridge of the Gods, the nation’s only government-run marijuana shop was running low on weed. Gotta keep the gammas happy...
The store had been open for just a few days. Inside, manager Robyn Legun was frantically trying to restock. Outside, five customers stood waiting for the doors to open. Someone cracked a joke about this being a typical government operation, always running late.
But, of course, it’s not. This government store, bearing the cozy name Cannabis Corner, sells dozens of strains of marijuana and in several different forms, from pungent buds to infused cookies and coffee. It sells glass bongs and rolling papers. And it does it all at the direction of the North Bonneville Public Development Authority, making the local government uniquely dependent on this once-illicit drug.

[Weekly Standard] Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, a former State Department official, sidestepped questions about Hillary Clinton's exclusive use of a private email address in testimony today on Capitol Hill:
Lew does admit, however, that he emailed with Mrs. Clinton when she was secretary of state. But he refuses to answer more detailed questions.
"This is how bad it gets when an Obama official is publicly asked about Hillary Clinton's private email," writes America Rising, who found the video.
"Congressman Sean Duffy pressed U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew about his emails with Hillary Clinton's private email account. Lew essentially claimed he couldn't remember if he knew that Clinton's email was private. Perhaps a bit of sodium thiopental would provide some relief from the memory loss issue.
"The only thing that Jack Lew makes clear in this exchange is how uncomfortable he is talking about Hillary Clinton's private email account."

He doesn't want to end up in Ft. Marcy Park after committing suicide by shooting himself three times in the back of the head.

“Two things: one is, ISIL is a direct outgrowth of al Qaeda in Iraq that grew out of our invasion,”
Scanned the article a couple of times but could not find #2 to which Obammer referred. He must have spent too much time in the Choom Gang--STM loss.
AQ got active around 2004 in Iraq as I recall. They were not particularly religious as ISIS claims to be. When Obama pulled the troops out, Jordanian Zawqawi was dead and AQ-in-Iraq was destroyed. General McChrystal was largely responsible for creating the on-the-ground intelligence and running the spec ops that allowed this.
C-in-C Obumble ran off McChrystal. O's ego couldn't handle McChrystal and is a dick for lying about the history. He cannot come to grips with the fact that he is a huge failure of a CIC.

“We should be thinking about making investments there that ultimately save us from having to send our young men and women to fight or having folks come here and doing great harm.”

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
