Yemen defense minister flees Sanaa to join president in Aden
[YEMENONLINE.INFO] Yemen's defense minister arrived at dawn Sunday at his house outside the southern port city of Aden after fleeing the rebel-held capital, security officials said.

The security officials said Maj. Gen. Mahmoud al-Subaihi left Sanaa on Saturday and drove all night to reach his house in the village of Ras al-Ara in the coastal area of al-Madhariba outside Aden.

Ahmed Abdullah al-Majeedi, governor of restive Lahj
... a Yemeni governate located in the southwestern corner of the Arabian Peninsula. It is the stomping grounds on the southern secessionist al-Harak movement
province who is also from al-Madhariba, hosted a lunch Sunday afternoon for al-Subaihi, attended by dozens of influential officials and high-ranking social dignitaries.

In Sanaa, Shiite Houthi
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ...
rebels who have been in control the capital since September stormed al-Subaihi house after hearing the news of his flight but found only several guards there.

The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of fear of reprisal from the rebels, said the Houthis ambushed a group of al-Subaihi's bodyguards in al-Khokha area in Hodeida province while they were on their way to Aden. They did not know if there were any casualties.

Al-Subaihi is expected later Sunday to join President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi in Aden.

Hadi and his Cabinet resigned after rebels took control of the presidential palace but al-Subaihi accepted to stay in Sanaa as acting defense minister under threats from the Houthis. Other Cabinet ministers also have remained behind.

Hadi fled to Aden last month, where he withdrew his resignation and declared himself the country's legitimate leader.

The source, who requested anonymity, told that rustics had attacked a Houthi checkpoint in the center of the eastern province.

Four people - three Houthi members and a primitive - were killed in the ensuing festivities, he added.

Three other people were maimed in the festivities, the source said.

The Houthi group, which seized Yemeni capital Sanaa in September of 2014, has not managed to control the oil-rich Maarib province so far.

3 Jamaat-Shibir dens busted in Sitakunda
[Dhaka Tribune] In an overnight drive, the police yesterday busted three Jamaat-Shibir dens in the hilly forest areas of Sitakunda's Nunachhara and Yakubnagar areas.

Police also enjugged
Drop the gat, Rocky, or you're a dead 'un!
three Jamaat-Shibir men from the spots but refused to give their names "for the sake of investigation." Preparations were on to file two cases against them.

Based on a tip-off, around 200 police members conducted the drive from midnight until early yesterday.

The dens had been used by the Jamaat-Shibir men since 2013. They carried out attacks on vehicles on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway and hid themselves in the dens to avoid arrest, Sitakunda Assistant Superintendent of Police Md Saiful Islam told the Dhaka Tribune.

"From the hideouts, the law enforcers seized 70 petrol bombs, 50 crude bombs, four lighter guns, three rocket flares, 24 cartridges, sharp weapons and kitchen items," he said.

At least 50 Jamaat-Shibir men used to stay and hold meetings in these places, the ASP said, but they expeditiously departed at a goodly pace sensing the police raid.

District Additional Superintendent of Police (north) Mostafizur Rahman said drives to arrest the runaway activists would continue.

Police and local sources said many teachers and students of nearby International Islamic University of Chittagong were involved with Jamaat-Shibir politics. A number of students of the university were arrested for sabotages on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in 2013.

Bicycle bomb plot foiled in Dhaka
[Dhaka Tribune] RAB yesterday recovered a large cache of explosives in Dhaka and tossed in the calaboose
Youse'll never take me alive coppers!... [BANG!]... Ow!... I quit!
three
people who were planning to use an improvised bicycle bomb to launch a large-scale attack.

Initially, Rakibul Islam Mandal, 25, was arrested by RAB 2 during a drive at the capital's Karnophuli Garden City; based on his information, the team also arrested Aminul Islam Rana, 30, and Riazul Islam, 22, from a house at Koltabazar in Sutrapur.

From the Sutrapur house, the elite force recovered a bicycle rigged with explosives, 58 crude bombs, one pipe bomb, 48 petrol bombs and other materials that were supposed to be used in subversive activities, said RAB's Media Wing Director Mufti Mahmud Hasan.

The detainees were reportedly planning to destroy some important establishments in the capital. "Rana had collected high-powered explosives from Khulna. To bring the explosives, they bought a bicycle and dismantled its parts.

"They put the explosives inside the iron pipes of the cycle and restructured the frame. They made it in such a way that the explosives could be set off inside the bicycle," the RAB media wing chief said.

The RAB claimed that during primary interrogation, the arrestees said they were working for Anisur Rahman Khokon, former organizational secretary of Chhatra Dal's previous central committee.

The three detained men had reportedly been carrying out subversive activities including blasting crude bombs, torching and vandalising vehicles in the capital's Gulshan, Badda, Motijheel, Karwan Bazar and Dhanmondi areas.

Rana and Riaz also reportedly recruited activists from the Titumir College Chhatra Dal unit after being directed by the alleged financier of their operation -- Khokon.

2 teens stopped at Sydney Airport from joining Islamic State
[IsraelTimes] Item in Australian brothers' luggage arouses suspicion of border agents

Two Australian brothers aged 16 and 17 were stopped at Sydney Airport on suspicion that they were young jihadis headed to join the Islamic State

group, officials said Sunday.

The young brothers from Sydney raised the suspicions of customs officials as they attempted to depart on Friday afternoon, Border Protection Minister Peter Dutton said.

He did not say where the pair were headed apart from a Middle Eastern "conflict zone." He also refused to say what was found in the boys' luggage that raised suspicion and led to the brothers beings reported to the airport's new counterterrorism unit.

"These two young men aged 16 and 17 are kids, not killers, and they shouldn't be allowed to go to a foreign land to fight then come back to our land eventually more radicalized," Dutton told news hounds.

The boys' parents were "as shocked as any of us would be" to discover their sons had attempted to leave the country, Dutton said.

The boys had been radicalized over the Internet, he said. Dutton did not say who had paid the boys' air fares.

Dutton said charges would be filed against the boys, but did not elaborate. As juvenile suspects, they cannot be identified.

Governments around the world are trying to prevent youth from going to Syrian and Iraq to join the caliphate.

Australians who fight for foreign Lion of Islam groups face prosecution at home. Under new laws, it became a criminal offense punishable by 10 years in prison for an Australian to enter the Islamic State-held territory without a legitimate reason.

"These were two misguided young Australians, Australian born and bred, who went to school here, grew up here, imbibed our values, and yet it seems they had succumbed to the lure of the death cult and they were on the verge of doing something terrible and dangerous," Prime Minister Tony Abbott told news hounds.

"I'm pleased that they've been stopped and my message to anyone who is listening to the death cult is block your ears. Don't even begin to think you can leave" Australia, he added.

The government said last month that at least 90 Australians were fighting with and supporting terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria and have had their passports canceled. More than 20 Australians have been killed.

57 suspects including four Afghans and two wanted suspects from Kohat and surrounding areas, on Sunday. The arrests come as part of an ongoing effort to implement the National Action Plan (NAP) and crack down on suspicious activities in the province.

New rifts arise between foreign and local jihadists of ISIS in Mosul, 14 killed

group (IS/ISIS) in Qayyarah district of djinn-infested Mosul
... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn...
, in northern Iraq, turned into a real battle that claimed lives of several leading members of the group, an informed source reported on Sunday.

The rifts emerged between local IS leading members (aka Ansar) and foreign jihadists of the group (aka Muhajirin/migrants), according to the source.

"Differences broke out regarding sharing money they receive through spoils gained from some of the civilian houses left behind by their owners," media activist R.J. told ARA News in Mosul.

"The civilian houses belong to those who IS described as 'Rafida' (in reference to Shiite sect of Iraqis) who fled the area following IS control over large parts of Nineveh province, including Mosul, nearly one year ago," he said.

The source pointed out that the IS foreign members are seeking to acquire the bulk of the funds and positions in the group's gains as well as living in luxurious houses, selecting the best car models, while the Ansar (local IS bad boys) are those soldiers who just serve them and participate in the battles without receiving even a quarter of what they (migrant bad boys) earn from the spoils.

"This is what angered the local IS jihadists, causing festivities which led to the death of nearly 14 members, including prominent leaders of emigrants," the source told ARA News.

Earlier reports showed that the most of IS foreign members are transferring their money to their home countries through relatives.

Officials say gunmen kidnap 31 suspected criminals in Iraq
[RUDAW.NET] Iraqi officials say gunnies dressed all in black have kidnapped 31 Shiite men from their home in eastern Baghdad in an attack they described as targeting suspected criminals.

Two police officials say the abduction happened early Saturday when the gunnies stormed houses in the Shiite neighborhood of Sadr City. They say the gunnies took the 31 men and put them in a truck before driving away.

Police officials say they suspect the kidnapped men were involved in prostitution and criminal activities. The two officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to journalists.

Some Shiite militias have been involved attacks against suspected hookers and stores that sell liquors as a part of their campaign to impose Islamic laws.

... the Iranian catspaw holy man who was 22 years old in 2003 and was nearing 40 in 2010. He spends most of his time in Iran, safely out of the line of fire, where he's learning to be an ayatollah...
vowed that his militia would back the fight to push the Sunni faceless myrmidons out of the Iraqi city.

Coalition forces carried out at least three air raids early Sunday in the town of Aski, west of Mosul, targeting armored vehicles carrying ISIS fighters across the Badosh frontline, Peshmerga commander Moghadam Lughman Chato told Rudaw.

He said the warplanes had inflicted substantial damage to the murderous Moslems, and that they were monitoring ISIS movements.

Meanwhile Sadr, whose gunnies fought US forces in Iraq after the 2003 invasion and who has been known for his anti-American sentiments, vowed that his militia would be part of the operation to retake Mosul, which ISIS captured last June.

"We will drive ISIS fighters out of the beloved city of Mosul with the help of God," Sadr said in a statement, in which he also called for the US to participate in the operation.

Of late, the holy man has frequently called for better coordination among his militiamen, Iraqi troops and coalition forces in the war against ISIS.

The liberation of Mosul, Iraq's second-largest, is expected to be a joint operation involving the Iraqi army, the autonomous Kurdistan Region's Peshmerga forces, local tribes and coalition air power.

There has been no official date set for the Mosul offensive, but it is widely expected to come in April or May.

The Islamic State (ISIS) governor of Mosul was killed in an Arclight airstrike Friday night, said a Kurdish official.

Coalition forces have recently intensified their air strikes around Mosul.

[Iran Press TV] Iraqi government forces have managed to recapture a town in the conflict-ridden western province of al-Anbar from Takfiri

ISIL Lions of Islam as they continue to gain more ground in the battle against the bully boys.

A security source, speaking on condition of anonymity
... for fear of being murdered...
, said Iraqi forces liberated the town of Qaryat al-Rashad town, located roughly 70 kilometers (43 miles) west of the capital, Baghdad, on Sunday following intense festivities with ISIL members, Iraq's al-Sumaria satellite TV network reported.

The source added that tens of ISIL Takfiris were killed and injured during the operation.

On Saturday, Iraqi security forces backed by volunteer Shia fighters and Sunni rustics launched a military operation from four different directions to take back the town of al-Alam in the northern Salahuddin Province from ISIL holy warriors.

The ISIL Lions of Islam have suffered great losses since the Iraqi army launched its operation to free the strategic city of Tikrit, located 140 km (86 kilometers) northwest of Baghdad, on March 2.

Iraqi soldiers, backed by volunteer fighters, retook an airport in the town of al-Dour, located more than 160 kilometers (100 miles) north of Baghdad, on Friday.

ISIL started its campaign of terror in Iraq in early June 2014. The heavily armed murderous Moslems took control of djinn-infested Mosul

before sweeping through parts of the country's Sunni Arab heartland.

Iraqi soldiers, police units, Kurdish forces, Shia volunteers and Sunni rustics are engaged in battles with the murderous Moslems to drive them back from the areas under their control.

bully boyz to liberate Salahuddin Province's city of Tikrit, Press TV reports.

Iraqi forces started their attacks on al-Alam area from the northeast of Tikrit.

"The advances are going very well. We are now standing here waiting for the attack on al-Alam to start. All the territory that we have passed were liberated in two days only. Today we are planning to clean Kirkuk and Salahuddin from terrorists, together," said leader of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri.

The attacks were carried out on ISIL hideouts to pave the way for ground forces to advance.

The Iraqi army is aiming to reach al-Alam and al-Dor, and then secure the al-Fatha area, in order to cut ISIL supplies and prevent the Death Eaters from fleeing to djinn-infested Mosul

The ISIL Death Eaters have suffered great losses in recent days since the Iraqi army launched its operation to free Tikrit on March 2.

The army has already liberated a number of neighborhoods in the area.

Kurdish fighters kill 67 ISIS militants in new clashes near Syria's Qamishli
[ARA] Qamishli, Syria -- Clashes renewed Sunday between the Kurdish forces of the People's Protection Units (YPG) and the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. group (IS/ISIS) in the towns of Tel Brak and Tel Hamis, south of Qamishli city, northeast Syria, military sources reported.

The battles came after a sudden attack by IS hard boyz on the YPG's locations there, in an attempt to advance in the two towns after losing them.

Speaking to ARA News on the phone, F.Q., a fighter in the YPG's ranks said that fierce festivities broke out between them and radical group in the area between the YPG-held town of Tel Brak and the IS-held town of al-Hol.

"The festivities resulted in the death of a number IS bully boys," he added.

In the meantime, the YPG's Media Center (MC) issued Sunday a statement, of which ARA News received a copy, saying: "The terrorist groups have launched an attack against our troops (YPG) from five sides, in an attempt to regain control of the villages of Tel Vayer, Tel Abu Haider, Antakia, Um al-Rous and Khazila and some other YPG-held areas in the region."

"Our units (YPG) responded to the IS attack, and intense festivities broke out lasting for several hours on Sunday," the YPG leadership said, pointing out that about 67 IS bad boyz were potted, "of which 35 corpses were seized by the Kurdish forces."

Additionally, the Kurdish forces were able to destroy an IS armored vehicle, seizing 28 rifles (Kalashnikov type) as well as machine guns.

On the other hand, five YPG fighters were killed during the fighting between the two sides nearTel Hamis and Tel Brak, south of Qamishli, according to the YPG's MC.

The civil rights activist Dilovan Mohammed from the city of Hasakah stated to ARA News that similar festivities broke out between the pro-regime forces backed by the National Defense Army militia and IS jihadists on the road between Hasakah and Mount Abdulaziz west of the city, amid reports of casualties in the ranks of both parties.

Noteworthy, the Kurdish forces with support of the Assyrian Military Council and Sanadid Force (fighters of the Arab clan of Shammar) seized control of the towns of Tel Brak and Tel Hamis end of February, after fierce battles with IS group which withdrew to al-Hol town on the Syrian-Iraqi border.

Terror Networks
ISIS fortifies Hawija for Tikrit aftermath
[RUDAW.NET] ISIS hard boyz have fortified their frontlines in Hawija town to stop any advance from the Peshemrga and Iraqi forces following the expected liberation of Tikrit.

The Peshmerga and the Shia militias known as the People's Mobilization Forces (PMF) have been stationed around ISIS-held Hawija, in Krikuk province, to prevent hard boyz in the town from reinforcing those battling Iraqi joint forces in Tikrit.

Now, ISIS hard boyz are reportedly reinforcing their positions in the event of an assault on the town should Tikrit fall. Hawija is 117km north of Tikrit, in Sunni-majority Salahaddin province, and 30km south of Kirkuk.

Some Sunni tribes, such as local Abed tribes, have expressed willingness to fight ISIS along with the Peshmerga and PMF in liberating Hawija.

The head of the security committee of the Saladin provincial council told Rudaw on Saturday he expected Tikrit to fall within "hours."

German woman killed fighting alongside Kurds in Syria
[Iran Press TV] ISIL Takfiri
...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed...
Lions of Islam have killed a young German woman who was fighting alongside Kurdish forces in northeast Syria, UK-based monitoring group says.

The girl was killed during a battle for the Kurdish-held town of Tal Tamr in northeastern Syrian province of Hasakeh, said the head of the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Rami Abdel Rahman on Sunday.

The German girl, whose name is yet to be released, is the third Westerner to die while fighting alongside Kurdish ranks in Syira, AFP reported.

Konstandinos Erik Scurfield, from Britannia, and Ashley Johnston, from Australia both died during similar festivities in Hasakeh.

Around 7,000 women, who receive the same training as their male counterparts, fight for the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG).

Earlier on Sunday, the monitoring group reported that some 40 Kurdish forces and Takfiri forces of Evil were killed during the battle for Tal Tamr which started on Saturday.

Battle for Tal Tamr
The festivities erupted after ISIL forces of Evil attempted to overrun the strategic town.

"Fierce battles broke out during the past 24 hours around Tal Tamer... that killed 40 fighters," Abdel Rahman said.

If the town falls into the hands of the forces of Evil they would gain access to the Iraqi border and the major Iraqi city of djinn-infested Mosul
... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn...
They would also gain control over a key road between the eastern part of Hasakah province and a city with the same name.

The ISIL holy warriors, with members from several Western countries, control parts of Syria and Iraq, and have been carrying out horrific acts of violence such as public decapitations and crucifixions against all ethnic and religious communities.
