[FOXNEWS] The murder of prominent Putin critic Boris Nemstov in a gangland-style killing steps from the Kremlin came just weeks after the dissident told a magazine his mother worried the Russian leader would have him bumped off for his outspokenness.
"'When will you stop cursing Putin? He'll kill you for that.' She was completely serious," Nemstov told Sobsesdnik earlier this month, according to the Wall Street Journal, adding that the former Deputy Prime Minister under Russian president Boris Yeltsin expressed some worry but not as much as his mother.
The Boston Globe reported that Nemstov also told the magazine in reference to his 86-year-old mom, "She is truly scared that he (Putin) could kill me soon for all of my statements, both in real life and on social networks. This is not a joke; she is a smart person."

Well, we've all known this about Putin for a long time. It's not like he hasn't done it before. No, I don't believe he's Hitler, I don't feel like fighting him over a couple of eastern Ukrainian provinces because it's outside our sphere of influence and I don't believe he's gonna be marching on Poland any time soon because the Poles would fight back and they might embarrass him. But we need to be clear about a few things: He's not a nice guy, he's a former KGB officer, a bloody dictator and he's not taking Russia in a good direction.

[JP] March has been named colorectal cancer awareness month by the Israel Cancer Association (ICA) and the Health Ministry. The second-most-common cause of death among both men and women, colorectal cancer can be prevented entirely by periodically undergoing a colonoscopy.
In 2012, 1,355 Israelis died of the disease - 611 Jewish men, 602 Jewish men, 50 Arab men and 43 Arab women.
Dr. Lital Keinan Boker, deputy head of the ministry’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention said to mark the beginning of the month that 3,139 new patients were diagnosed in 2012 - 1,453 Jewish men, 1,274 Jewish women, 131 Arab men and 126 Arab women and the rest of other backgrounds, Although many in the population think that men are much more likely to contract colorectal cancer, the prevalence is almost equal in the two genders.
