Remember the hanging chads dilemma the Dems forced upon an election a few years ago? Time for the Republicans to create a calibration dilemma via law suits all over the country.
[DELAWAREONLINE] Middletown police have issued an arrest warrant for the husband of state Sen. Bethany Hall-Long for allegedly stealing roadway campaign signs erected by Republicans.
Police on Wednesday responded to a complaint about the theft of political signs, some of which read "Fix the Economy! Vote Republican."
Police identified the suspect as Dana Armon Long, of the 100 block of St. Augustine Court near Middletown. Police confirmed he is the husband of the state senator. Both are Democrats. The warrant was issued for theft under $1,500.
Reached at his home, Long would not comment on the allegations. "I cannot at this point in time make any comments at the advice of counsel," Long said.
An investigation revealed that on Sunday, 28 signs were placed on Middletown Odessa Road at Silver Lake Road, and on the 700 block of Middletown Odessa Road, police said.
They were discovered missing on Monday, replaced, and once again removed. After the campaign signs were replaced a second time, campaign volunteers staked out the spot where the thefts were occurring during early morning hours on Wednesday.
Middletown police said the campaign officials observed "a vehicle pull off the roadway in front of the signs. An individual exited his vehicle and began removing the signs."
The two workers confronted the man and posted video of the incident online.
Republican and Democratic party leaders condemned the thefts on Wednesday.
"When you only have a track record of high taxes, unemployment and lower wages for private sector employees to stand on, the Democrats must resort to breaking the law to win elections because they are scared of being held accountable for their dismal performance," John Fluharty, executive director of the state GOP, said in a written statement.
John Daniello, chairman of the state Democratic Party, said in a statement that, "Each campaign season, we deal with candidates removing their opponent's signs. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable. There are more positive ways in which to support your candidate regardless of party affiliation."
The charge is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to 1 year in prison and a fine up to $2,300, including restitution and other conditions set by the court.
In a prepared statement, Hall-Long apologized for the incident.

In for the Long-Hall.
Multiple offender caught once. I have a real disgust for this behavior, and should also include charges of trespassing and hate crime.
Is the wife up for re-election, or is this guy a troll by default?
[PJMedia] An election integrity watchdog group is suing the state of Maryland, alleging that it has discovered massive and ongoing fraudulent voting by non-U.S. citizens in one county. But because of the way that the non-citizens are able to cast votes in elections, the fraud is likely happening in every single county and subdivision across the state. The group believes that the illegal voting has been happening for years.
The group, Virginia Voters Alliance, says that it compared how voters in Frederick County filled out jury duty statements compared with their voting records. The group's investigation found that thousands of people in Frederick County who stated that they are not U.S. citizens on jury duty forms went on to cast votes in elections. Either they failed to tell the truth when they were summoned for jury duty, or they cast illegal votes. Both are crimes. The same group previously found that about 40,000 people are registered to vote in both Virginia and Maryland.

The Democrats have always avered that voting fraud was a very, very small problem--so small so as to not be of any concern. Any voting fraud should be of concern; even a very small amount as it undermines the democratic process and threatens the integrity of elections. The only thing to do is to prosecute every one of these cases whenever they occur and not matter how inconsequential.
The outcome of the 2008 and 2012 presidential election would probably not be any different if all the election fraud were rooted out. The spread was just too great in Maryland. In other states, such as toss-up states where the margin was thin, fraud could sway an election.

"Who you vote for is your secret. But whether or not you vote is public record," the letter says.
Hmm, using this we can cross-check democrat voters against the death certificate rolls, credit cards which place them in a different state or in prison at the time of the alleged vote being cast. I think the donks are on to something....

Wonder how many of the letters get returned "Addressee Unknown", "Deceased", "Not a Valid Address" or "Addressee Forwarding Expired"?
[NYPOST] The New York State Democratic Committee is bullying people into voting next week with intimidating letters warning that it can easily find out which slackers fail to cast a ballot next Tuesday.
"Who you vote for is your secret. But whether or not you vote is public record," the letter says.
"We will be reviewing voting records .â.â. to determine whether you joined your neighbors who voted in 2014."
It ends with a line better suited to a mob movie than a major political party: "If you do not vote this year, we will be interested to hear why not."

It would be nice if entire neighborhoods voted Republican in response.

Most tyrants authoritarians who engage in PR votes use the same accounting to jack up those plebiscites at 98%+. The mask slips every now and then from the socialists showing their true nature.
The GOP’s chances of winning the Senate are 68.5 percent, according to the FiveThirtyEight forecast, its highest figure of the year.
Among the 20 new polls released Thursday — it looks like there will be no Great Poll Shortage after all — two were principally responsible for Republican gains. The first was in Kentucky, where a SurveyUSA poll for the Louisville Courier-Journal had Republican incumbent Mitch McConnell ahead 48-43 over Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes. The poll represented a shift from SurveyUSA’s previous two polls, which had a 1 percentage-point lead for McConnell and a 2-point lead for Grimes. With SurveyUSA (a highly rated pollster) now more in line with other polls of the state, we have a clearer story in Kentucky. It’s one that probably ends in a victory for McConnell, whose chances of winning are up to 87 percent.
Watch the lefties come out and savage Nate for this because he's not telling them what they want to hear.

(carryover from previous post) Unless the American public will get beaucoup angry at the Dems after 2-years of watching the 'Pubs getting their Healthcare "mods" being slapped back into their faces as one state after another eye-poppingly raises rates.
[FREEBEACON] Senator Mary Landrieu said Thursday she thinks one of the reasons she is losing her campaign for re-election is that the state that voted her into office is sexist. Landrieu also said that President B.O. is unpopular in her state because of his race.
Speaking with NBC's Chuck Todd, Landrieu said, "I'll be very, very honest with you. The South has not always been the friendliest place for African-Americans."
Pointing to herself Landrieu continued, "It's not always been a good place for women to present ourselves. It's more of a conservative place."
Landrieu oddly didn't mention that her low approval might stem from the fact she was the deciding vote for Obamacare ... aka the Affordable Care Act, an ineptly designed and worse executed piece of legislation designed to bring 17 percent of the U.S. economy under the direct control of the government. The previous iteration, known as Hillarycare, was laughed out of Washington. This stinker was passed on a party-line vote without being read... . The senator also didn't note in the interview that President B.O.'s approval ratings are dismal in northern states as well as southern.

I was wondering how long it would take for the "all non-leftists are racist, sexist, homophobic cretins who want to kill children and starve the elderly" cards to come out.
If they are coming out in Landrieu, things must be pretty bad for the Dems.

South is racist? Quick someone remind Louisiana Gov Jindal that he's not white! And warn S Carolina Gov Nikki Haley (Female and India descent), and Sen Tim Scott (black) too!
Oh, hmm. Seems the Republicans have managed to elect minority candidates in their primaries...

I guess there's no question Pork Chop Landrieu is out. It's the bunker scene from Downfall.

Great theory, Mary. But it fails to account for how you and Barry got elected in the first place. Could it possibly be your performance and policies? Nah, the people just suck.
#18
Landrieu plays the racist and sexist card out of desperation. She missed the xenophobe card. I guess she didn't feel she could get away with that since Jindal has Indian origins.

OS, stop expecting Demonrats to use their brains. Trying to think overheats their two brain cells and if one of them dies, they turn into Biden or Gore. If both of them die, then they become Ted Kennedy, dead but still voting.
[BUSINESSINSIDER] Veteran Rep. Charlie Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Rangel Congressman-for-Life from Harlem, who became what 20 terms in Congress turns you into ... (D-N.Y.) had some harsh words for the Republican Party during a Thursday campaign rally for New York Gov. Andrew Sonny Cuomo (D).
As he has done repeatedly before, Rangel compared some members of the GOP to confederates from the Civil War era. But at the Thursday evening event, he added that they "believe slavery isn't over."
"We have to win. We have to be able to send a national message with Andrew Cuomo. And the thing is everything we believe in --everything we believe in -- they hate. They don't disagree -- they hate! They think if you didn't come from Europe 30 years ago, you didn't even make it. Some of them believe that slavery isn't over and they and think they won the Civil War!" Rangel shouted.
In contrast, Rangel said the Democratic Party was doing "God's work" on issues important to the American people.
"And so what we have to do is send a collective voice," he said of the upcoming midterm elections. "Everything we're doing is God's work: education, healthcare, affordable housing, discrimination, paying people the minimum wage."

they think they won the Civil War!" Rangel shouted.
Actually, dude, we kinda sorta did. Do we need to revisit the history of the Democratic Party from the post-Civil War thru the Civil Rights era?

. . . and central banks. Both of which are necessary to accomplish all those things he identifies as "God's work." Just because he doesn't understand where all the money magically comes from doesn't make it divine.
And, um, yeah, a Republican DID win the civil war. Sheesh. Is he really that dumb?

Charlie Rangel Says Some Republicans 'Believe That Slavery Isn't Over'
Says Charlie 'Judas Goat' Rangel who keeps his own people in subservient bondage for vote harvesting. Keep projecting Charlie. Obama is about to throw the bunch of you under the bus for the Latino faction.
#9
Yes, the Latino flesh trade is particularly lucrative at the moment.
Especially trying is the fact that it will happen on the orders of a president who identifies himself as black...who makes the character Carlton Banks look like Tu Pac.
Less believable is Michelle and her pretty princess routine. Its a seriel lie, a deception, and its in your face, and if someone lies for you they are going to lie to you. Includes Rangel, convicted liar.
Better wake up Black America. You are about to be sold by the democrats for a box of paper and point cards.

When the one grants amnesty all these illegals - watch how our ballots start looking third world with just the party symbol on the ballot and no names.
[BREITBART] The 10th congressional district of Illinois, which was redrawn by state Democrats to make it virtually impossible for a Republican to win, is now leaning Republican, according to veteran political analyst Larry J. Sabato of the University of Virginia.
Sabato switched the race between incumbent Democrat Brad Schneider and Republican Bob Dold from "Toss-up" to "Leans Republican" in his latest ratings, less than a week before Election Day.
The shift towards Dold and a Republican victory likely heralds a nationwide trend. Of the 22 ratings changes that Sabato has released, 15 include districts moving towards Republicans, while Democrats have shown gains in only 7.
Dold was elected in the wave election of 2010 but was unseated in 2012 after the district was redrawn. The 10th district takes in some reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ... home of Al Capone, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel,... suburbs as well as urban areas north of Chicago, such as Waukegan.

Multiple former executives at Trek Bicycle now say Burke was forced out of her position by her own family as a consequence of her terrible management, and a fellow member of a Democratic administration referred to her leadership as "a disaster" in a contemporaneous assessment. And now she wants to be governor. Even as GOP-aligned pollsters are privately warning that Marquette's Walker +7 projection is more bullish than their internal findings, this can't be the front page coverage Team Burke was hoping to see five days out from the election.

Sometimes you hire relatives just to keep tabs on them so they don't do something stupid and hurt themselves or others.
When that doesn't work, you ship them to Europe.
When that doesn't work, you get them an appointment job in government (perhaps as a state Secretary of Commerce).
When that doesn't work, you get him/her elected to the governance of the local Country Club. Least damage to others possible (except for maybe the caddies and greens).
Some relatives can't help themselves and still try to create havoc for others by running for School Boards or possibly the governorship of some Midwestern state.

The mainstream media, playing frantic catch-up on a story they evidently didn’t bother to investigate for months — even as Burke routinely cited her Trek experience as a raison d’etre of her campaign — is finally asking questions.
That might prove to be a bigger story than Burke's firing.

Having had court side seats at several businesses organized under the dysfunctional family business model, the father and the brother probably heard the adage "shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in 2 generations"- founding father starts with nothing, works his/ her/ their arses off to build a successful business that then gets handed down to the idiot son/ daughter who runs it into the ground and ends up where the founder started once they find actual hard work and talent are involved. Shuffle her off to government where here talent is more suited.

"And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire..."
