[NHREGISTER] Peter Lumaj, Republican candidate for Connecticut Secretary of the State, called Wednesday for Bridgeport Registrar of Voters Santa Ayala to resign over the ongoing voting fraud investigation that last week led to the arrest of her daughter, state Rep. Christina Ayala.
Lumaj also called on his opponent, incumbent Secretary of the State Denise Merrill, to join him in demanding Santa Ayala's immediate resignation.
The state Elections Enforcement Commission recommended a criminal investigation into both Ayalas in October 2013.

[BREITBART] The B.O. regime found itself scrambling on Tuesday to defend President Barack Obama Republicans can come along for the ride, but they've got to sit in the back... for his lackluster 42% attendance record on daily intelligence briefings, a finding from a new report issued by the non-partisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI).
When asked about the GAI revelation on Fox News, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki ...a valley girl who woke up one morning and found she was spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of State... appeared flustered and unprepared.
"Well, I have no validation of those statistics," said Psaki. "There are a range of ways that you can get your intelligence briefings on the road, in the White House, and I know that he receives those whenever he can."
Fox News host Brian Kilmeade then asked Psaki, "So you don't believe the statistics are right that say he was only at 41 percent of the intelligence briefings?" Psaki replied:
"Well Brian, I think the important thing here to note is that there is information the president receives on a daily basis. There is a range of officials in the administration including the president that make the decision designate a terrorist organization, to make the decision to increase assistance to the Iraqi security forces, that made the decision to do strikes last week. The president has been leading with the support of the national security team to take on this threat and take on this fight. And what we think we need to be focused on now is what we do moving forward."
Notably, the Obama White House did not dispute the GAI report's statistics. Indeed, it can't: the findings were calculated using the White House's own calendar.

Tiring, sophomoric little snip. No briefing officer would fail to back-brief his boss and inform him on precisely when POTUS took the briefing and black book and when he did not, and it would be done in writing! These are not casual events over finger food and lattes. I'm absolutely sure those sessions and his comments/questions/follow-up and taskings are very, very well documented.

Suggestions for increasing obama's attention to security briefings:
Print them on golf scorecards
Hold the meeting at the clubhouse
Rename them 'fundraiser' on the daily schedule
State clearly that joe Biden will not attend
Open the meetings with a Muslim prayer

He doesn't take the briefings because he's not the man actually in charge. The fellow who signed off on the briefings before they went downtown..... he's the man in charge.

I find myself in that same camp. Lot's of reasons to feel that way with this bunch. Haven't started drooling on myself yet. What's that they say? "You come into this world bare-assed, bald and drooling on yourself and you leave the same way"
