Dismissing the faithful with baubles. Very interesting.
Oh no. Seeding the ground for the next crop of Progressive Democrats. This takes it a step beyond the Gramscian march through the schools, on the one hand, and the circular movement between working in government and lobbying the government, on the other.

She reportedly met Clinton Hillificent while working at the Childrens Defense Fund in the 1980s and was an advisor to her through the Monica Lewinsky scandal and other crises during her [Hillificent] husbands administration. philandering. The whole sordid affair was really about Slick Willy's attempt at dismissing the question of how many angels dance on the head of a pin and the meaning of "it." Moreover, it was an effort to recapture the mythical lost kingdom of Camelot.
[An Nahar] U.S. Secretary of State John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, and current Secretary of State... Saturday feted the 1944 liberation of a Breton village linked to his family and paid tribute to his country's "eternal" ties with La Belle France.
Kerry joined his first cousin Brice Lalonde, a former Green Party candidate for the French presidency and ex-mayor of Saint-Briac-sur-Mer, in paying respects to three U.S. soldiers who died on June 15, 1944 during the battle to free the wealthy seaside resort.

Now, if the U.S. could be liberated from Jawn (or Yawn as some spell it.) Of course, his successor might be one of "O's" acolytes whom we see on the tube or read about putting forth the administration's latest gibberish.
[THESTATE] Conservationists took aim Friday at S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley ...first woman to serve as Governor of South Carolina, and the second Indian-American governor in the country, after Bobby Jindal of Louisiana. At the age of 39, Haley is the youngest current governor in the U.S., a distinction formerly held by Jindal. She is a Republican, which really grates on the Dems... for questioning new carbon dioxide regulations that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says will help in the fight against climate change, a phenomenon that is contributing to weather extremes and rising sea levels.
In a news release, the Conservation Voters of South Carolina said Haley "appears to have been misinformed" about the state's ability to comply with the proposed EPA rules, which are intended to reduce carbon dioxide pollution from the nation's coal-fired power plants by about 30 percent.
"It appears that she has been given incorrect information about South Carolina's ability to meet carbon pollution standards," the group said, responding to comments the governor made earlier this week on the coast.
The Conservation Voters group has endorsed Democrat Vincent Sheheen for governor over Republican Haley.

IF there is human caused climate change and IF CO2 emissions are the proximate cause then the most these regulations will and can do is stop HUMAN caused climate change.
No one so far has even made the claim that anti-CO2 regulations will actually stabilize the climate.
Earth's climate has not been particularly stable for millions of years. The alternative to human caused climate change is 'natural' climate change, i.e. a new ice age in the immediate future (on a geological timescale.)

Even if every single thing the climate controllers say is true (we are warming, man is causing it, and it will be catastrophic) there is nothing the US can do about it. If it CAN be burned, somebody, somewhere (China?) is going to burn it. And the enlightened ones know that and have known that all along. So, it's not about climate, it's about control.

That and the fact that even though they know it will have no effect in the end, they somehow think it will entitle them to die last.

Conservationists? No. Watermelons. Green outside, red inside.
[An Nahar] The White House said Friday proposed US action against climate change would save thousands of lives by reducing asthma, heat-related illnesses and other health hazards.
Less than a week after President Barack Obama Republicans can come along for the ride, but they've got to sit in the back... laid out his most ambitious moves yet to reduce carbon emissions blamed for climate change, his administration spelled out what it said was a public health argument for taking action.
A White House report estimated that action on climate change would eliminate 2,700 to 6,600 premature deaths by 2030, as well as 150,000 asthma attacks, 3,300 heart attacks and 310,000 lost work days.
"We have a moral obligation to leave our children a planet that's not irrevocably polluted or damaged. The effects of climate change are already being felt across the nation," the report said.
It said the percentage of Americans with asthma has doubled over the past three decades, partially as a result of climate change as rising temperatures increase ground-level ozone.

Trailing daughter #1 spent yesterday lying wanly on the couch like a Victorian heroine from sinus pain yesterday, after the coldest winter in a century, or therabouts. We'll risk warming, thanks.

tw, if she has sinus problems she should sit up so that her head is elevated. Lying down will only make it worse. Take it from someone who has been there.

What? Crabs, STDs, VD, Aids, a piss-poor economy, and a loser president are not caused by climate change? Enough to make one skeptical.
#7
Agree with Abu. If you sinuses are a problem keeping you head 'upright' definitely helps.
But then I suspect you already knew that.
As for this proposal, soon to be an Inperial Edict no doubt, it will cost far more loss of jobs than vaporlives saved. But that's how bamma-boy [Obama] rolls I guess.

I'll pass the word, gentlemen. Thanks! As I don't suffer seasonal allergies myself, I have no experience to draw on in this area.
She did take Mucinex-DM this morning. So the pain is gone, but she's flying high -- and in the family tradition not enjoying it one bit, as it screws up her writing.
[IJREVIEW] ring an interview with NBC's Brian Williams, Barack Obama Jedi mind meld... claims -- incredibly -- that "my government" acted 'unanimously" in its decision to trade five Taliban capos for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.
It was a "unanimous decision" by "my government." "I make no apologies for it."
But surely, he meant to say "my administration," right? Don't bet on it.
The deal was overwhelmingly rejected in 2012 by members of Congress, Pentagon officials and the intel community. That doesn't suggest that the American people's government was unanimous about the swap, does it?

One other possibility is that he said it out of pure ignorance. It's just a possibility though. Arrogance is most likely, I think. Could be a combination...But certainly a disturbing disregard for the law. What's even more disturbing is that he'll get away with it.

"MY GOVERNMENT?" WTF? What a narcissistic ass. I guess it is his government at this point as no one else will claim it--It has gone FUBAR due to his complete ineptitude.

King Barack I will leave. He doesn't want the job. He's done what he came to do: Destroy the United States as a cluture and a military and economic power. Then he'll go spend forty or fifty years as an ex-President, soaking up the bennies and continuing to leech of the people he betrayed.
Queen Hillary I has already been anointed. We get her for 8 years. I'm not sure who they'll pick for us after that, and really, as a peasant, is it our place to worry about whom our betters choose for us? It is our place to serve, to do their bidding. Get used to it.
After watching the Rose Garden ceremony, I have a better feeling for the French under Vichy.

It is interesting that the patron saint of the left, Noah Chomsky (whose name I cannot type without gagging) came out in an interview (see Drudge) and stated Obama was a threat to the civil liberties of all citizens of the United States. He particularly called out the NSA spying AND the armament of the supposedly civilian departments of the Executive branch (which gives me the night sweats)
When Chomsky, whose book is the blueprint for being a community organizer, comes out against one of his "disciples" things are very bad.
He is probably as big a toxic narcissist as any fascist from the past and I guarantee you the empty suit spent more time reading Joseph Goebbels than he did Chomsky. For it is Goebbels who said: "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the state."
Does that sound like our administration?

No, he won't. He'll go, certainly. But once he is gone his value alive diminishes significantly. He will be far more valuable to the puppet masters as a martyr. Wait and see, he won't make it 24 months after leaving office, especially if Killary is elected.

Other leftists who have recently criticized the ONE. This is a bit dated (4 months ago) but it seems that more and more are jumping ship. Leftist critics of Obama Jumping Ship? Oprah is still in the closet.

I read somewhere that former President Bill Clinton gets somewhere in the neighborhood of $200,000 per speaking engagement and I think we all know how full of hot air he is so I would imagine he is doing quite well for himself. Likewise Obummer, as long as he can read his teleprompter, should do well even though he seems a lot less energetic than Bubba. Hey, here's an idea for his business card: "Have teleprompter. Will travel." He doesn't have to write his drivel, all he has to do is read it. He can get the same writers to put out a few books. He'll do just fine with Moochelle there to pull him out of bed or off the golf course.
