[ORLANDOSENTINEL] When U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson married his wife, she was already wedded to another man, according to a new court filing by the congressman's lawyers, seeking an annulment on the basis of bigamy.
Grayson, D-Orlando, also accuses Lolita Grayson of defamation, for accusing him of battering her at their home in March, according paperwork filed in their divorce last week, days before their 24th anniversary.
Alan Grayson's new filing, a counterpetition to Lolita Grayson's January divorce filing, states that when he met Lolita Grayson in 1985, she "represented herself as single in order to induce Mr. Grayson to marry her."
The paperwork refers to the couple's union as a "bigamous marriage." In her application for their marriage license, Lolita Grayson claimed she had been divorced since 1981, her husband says.
"Unbeknownst to Mr. Grayson," the filing adds, "Ms. Grayson was married and remained married to another man ... up to and after the parties conducted an apparent marriage ceremony on April 28, 1990."
Several years later, Lolita Grayson "secretly participated" in a divorce from her prior husband, a man named Robert Carson, in Broward County, the documents state.
Attached to the congressman's counterpetition was a final divorce judgment dated March 7, 1994. It lists Lolita Carson as the respondent, and Robert Carson as the petitioner.
A woman who answered the phone at the law office of Mercedes Wechsler, Lolita Grayson's attorney, on Tuesday would not comment "at this time."
Alan Grayson's divorce lawyer, Richard West, said in an interview Tuesday that he discovered the marriage overlap when the paperwork surfaced in a background check.

Ah, come on. Now that the ruling class has gotten gay marriage legal, it's just another step to legal concurrent polyandry or polygamy. Heck, we've had serial polyandry and polygamy for a while now. Just think how much $$$ Eliot Spitzer could have saved. If you're willing to buy congresscritters to write legislation to preserve your capital from taxes, why not just shift the marriage contract to save even more capital.

The ruling class had better not modify marriage much more, or else the 99% will start marrying them (without their consent, such an outdated & probably unconstitutional restriction) for their money. I've always wanted to marry Howard Hughes, now that he's already dead, he should be so much easier to get along with.

Hey, Eric! Stop funneling heroin, crack and meth into the black communities and watch the crime rate drop. Oh, you mean you'd have to secure the border to do that? Gosh, that's a tough one.
The true goal of this study is to provide enough ammunition to attack Republicans as racists through the 2016 elections.
This is the kind of thing that the MSM needs to continue to support the "see no evil" narrative about Oblunder's corrupt reign. Got to have lots of stories ready to hide Benghazi, ACA disasters, Ukraine, Syria, China, etc. from the voters through the next two cycles.
That sounds like "He was arrested because he was black".
But I'm afraid Holder's definition is more like "He was arrested. And he is Black. Thus he was arrested because he is black." since, in his racist little mind, all arrests of the 'his people' has to be because of their race.

No, Sterling is not nearly enough. This drumbeat must be kept up and increased in both volume and frequency.
The "Progressives" are (effectively) using polarizing tactics for pure political purposes. That it is coming, literally, one step away from the President is both disgusting and frightening.
When the fan has been sufficiently, er, Scatologicalized, will the National Guard have the resources to quell the Racial maelstrom these people are creating? Or will other measures be required?
In any case, the "Progressives" will be looking on, clucking their tongues and denouncing the fruits of their labors.

I don't think this tactic is originating one step away from the Oval Office - more like one step above the Oval Office - that being ValJar and company, then down thru Obama and then to Eric Holder.

in 2012 black men were 6 times and Latino men 2.5 times more likely to end up in prison than white men.
You do the crime, you do the time, Stop the crime, Stop doing the time, But that's too big to grasp Holder, You'd rather YOUR people do the Crime, but not the time, That's Racist having to do the time.

[BOSTONHERALD] Secretary of State John F. Kerry has stepped in it again -- with a gaffe that this time not only makes him look foolish but makes a mess of U.S. foreign policy and destroys any chance he had of realizing his legacy pipe dream of brokering Middle East peace.
In a private meeting with senior international officials Friday, Kerry said that if the Israelis and Paleostinians can't achieve a two-state solution, Israel risks becoming "an apartheid state with second-class citizens."
Israelis are aghast -- especially with Kerry's remarks being reported yesterday on Holocaust Remembrance Day -- and have started issuing calls for his resignation. Foreign policy experts are stunned, saying Kerry's racially charged statements are major setbacks to peace negotiations in the Middle East.
"No wonder our diplomacy in the Middle East is so wretched," former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton told the Herald, calling Kerry's remarks "outrageous and defamatory."
Caroline Glick of The Jerusalem Post said, "Kerry's remark was openly anti-Semitic. Apartheid is a crime of intent. There is no Israeli politician that will ever be in a leadership position that harbors any such bigoted intention towards the Paleostinians. On the other hand, there is no Paleostinian leader or faction that does not demand the ethnic cleansing of Jews from every inch of any territory that will come under Paleostinian control."
Republicans on Capitol Hill are howling for Kerry's resignation. Even ultra-liberal U.S. Sen. Barbara Call me Senator! Boxer Senator-for-Life from Caliphornia... tweeted, "Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and any linkage between Israel and apartheid is nonsensical and ridiculous."
In 2006, when Kerry insulted American soldiers, saying they were "stuck in Iraq" because they didn't study hard enough, he just made a buffoon of himself. In 2010, when he registered his $7 million yacht in Rhode Island to dodge taxes, he just revealed himself as clueless. But that was when he was just a failed presidential candidate in the Senate. As secretary of state, he's in a position to do more damage. Last year, when he accidentally gave Syria an out on its chemical weapons use, he handed off control of U.S. foreign policy to Russian President Vladimir Putin ...Second and fourth President and sixth of the Russian Federation and the first to remain sober. Putin is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from polonium poisoning. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to Putin. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead... , who quickly brokered a deal that left dictator Bashir al-Assad in power. Kerry made Obama look weak, emboldened Putin and set the stage for the current Ukrainian crisis.
Now, by veering sharply from the diplomatic stance of the United States and President B.O. on Israel, he has alienated our most important ally in the region -- and sent the message to our allies everywhere that U.S. foreign policy is in a shambles and we cannot be relied on.
