A bumbling TSA agent "playing around" with a pepper-spray container at Kennedy Airport fired the caustic liquid at five fellow screeners yesterday, sending all six to the hospital, a source told The Post. It's all fun and games until someone gets an eye put out.
The agent, Chris Yves Dabel, discovered the device at the Terminal 2 security checkpoint and tried to determine if it was real, a source told The Post. I wonder what happens when I pull this cord."
He told Port Authority cops that he "found the canister on the floor and thought it was a laser pointer..." It was just lying there so I picked it up and pushed the button. "I get to push a button. I get to push a button." Burt the mouse.
The screener sprayed five other TSA agents around him, sending all six to Jamaica Hospital and halting security checks at Kennedy for at least 15 minutes, police said. Watta Maroon.

You mean they don't have TSA training copying the military's usual basic training gas house? The one where you're required to de-mask to get the full experience.
[An Nahar] Pope Francis called Wednesday for an immediate stop to violence and pillaging in the Central African Republic, three days after president Francois Bozize was forced into exile by a bloody coup.
"I am following the situation in the Central African Republic with great attention," Francis said in his first reference to a specific conflict since his inauguration to the papacy last week.
"I appeal for an immediate stop to violence and pillaging, and for a political solution to the crisis to be found as soon as possible to bring peace," he told thousands of people gathered in the sun-washed St Peter's Square for his first general audience.
The head of the world's 1.2 billion Catholics, who arrived at the audience in his popemobile, broke with tradition by speaking only in Italian, rather than addressing pilgrims in their native tongues.

The CAR being %25 Catholic (per CIA World Factbook)may help the pontiff's case. Anyone know the makeup of the "Insurgents" that have just taken the capital or if the Catholics are concentrated in one area over another and thus this message might have additional demographic weight in the affected area(s)?

Who listens to the Pope, Not Muslims.
Maybe not RJ, hopefully someone does. POPE Francis washed 12 young offenders' feet, including two girls at a Rome prison as he pushes for the Catholic Church to reach out to the needy.
In an apparent break with tradition by Latin America's first pontiff, local prison ombudsman Angiolo Marroni said that one of the two girls taking part in the ceremony was Muslim.
"I do this with all my heart because it is my duty as a priest, as a bishop. I have to be at your service. I love doing it because this is what the Lord has taught me," the 76-year-old Pope said.
The ceremony was the first of its type performed by a pope in a prison and the first that included women, including a young woman who is a Serbian Muslim , in a rite which commemorates a gesture of humility that Christians believe Jesus Christ performed for his 12 apostles before his death.
Earlier on Thursday, the 76-year-old Argentinian pontiff told Catholic priests at a mass in St Peter's Basilica to stop their "soul-searching" and "introspection".
"We need to go out ... to the outskirts where there is suffering, bloodshed, blindness that longs for sight and prisoners in thrall to many evil masters," he said.

..if they want to. The only fleet worth checking that belongs to the Americans - lead by someone who'd rather vote Present. Now it would be messy in the sense, once they got through, where would they refuel that wouldn't become one big target somewhere along the Med littoral.

Russia, China, are doing sea preparations and North Korea is threatening everyone. Hussein is busy paring the US Military down and buying up all the amunition so Americans can't get any.
The entire picture stinks like a toilet that needs to be flushed.

[Dawn] Senior journalist Najam Sethi took oath as caretaker chief minister of Punjab on Wednesday. He was selected as the interim head of the provincial government after marathon deliberations by the treasury and opposition members in the outgoing provincial assembly. Sethi is publisher of Pak Daily Times. He's my hero.
The oath was administered by Punjab Governor Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood at the Governor House in Lahore.
Speaking to reporters after taking oath, Sethi said that the interim setup would be apolitical, and that political appointments would be made during the tenure of the caretaker government.

[DAILYCALLER] "On behalf of all of us here at FAU, we are deeply sorry for any hurt that this incident might have caused our students, people in the community and beyond," says Charles Brown, senior vice president for student affairs, in the recording. "As an institution of higher education, we embrace academic freedom. But with that comes a level of responsibility which we did not uphold."
Brown went on to promise and swear that FAU faculty will never use the exercise again. He then swore that the school would take no disciplinary action against any student concerning the incident.
In an email to The Daily Caller, Lisa Metcalf, an FAU spokeswoman, reiterated Brown's promise.
"Out of respect for student privacy laws, I cannot comment on the specifics related to the student," Metcalf wrote. "I can, however, tell you that no disciplinary action was taken against any students regarding this matter."

I demand every penny spent for this course of study to be retained by STUD. That "School" is useless. Fuck their alma mater too. See what I AM saying? Like another Columbia zombie march -forward.

Who would ever pay for this as an "Education"? I will bankrupt every college in this Nation -I Promise. You all suck and I only have to look at this K-12 society to see the damage you really are - but at least now it is "IN my face".
So Fuck off and die extra collegiate nonsense fucks who overcharge these people to become more worthless than you.
What you do in the schools is bankrupt the young teaching them to get an education in something you make the morally distant from. You are the most useless universities since Rome, and I AM being kind.

Every town and city school district in America is constantly begging, cajoling, and threatening the taxpayers of that district to give them more money. Whatever they have, even in districts where teachers make $70K and administrators make six figures (amounts which have no historical precedence or current utility), isn't enough. "If you give us more money, we'll make your kids smarter and they'll get into better colleges and they'll make more money."
All of this is wrong. They deserve not more, but less. And this is coming from someone who spent years in the industry, both as a student and eventually a professor before I escaped to the private sector. It's wrong, and here's why.
-You can't make kids smarter, only teach them more knowledge or help with study habits.
-We now know that there is no correlation between dollars spent on education and outcome.
-Most teachers nowadays are credentialled and indoctrinated, but not truly educated, themselves.
-Outside of STEM, most of what passes as "education" isn't - it's indoctrination and credentialling for the students, as well.
-In a world labor market, intelligence, competence and work ethic, and real education, are the things that are valuable to potential employers, not the mere fact that you have a piece of paper that claims to be a college degree.
Beyond the economic and practical aspect of all this, though, there is something more visceral and philosophical that makes me leery of giving any more money to the education industry, and it was highlighted by this incident in Florida.
The fact of the matter is that today, in your town or city, history teachers are lying to students and teaching them from an agenda that is anti-Western and anti-Christian.
I can pretty much guarantee to whomever is reading this that the history department in your town teaches students (especially the honors classes) that the Crusades were a stand-alone unprovoked act of aggression against the Muslims by Christian Europe rather than a defensive response against the Muslim conquest of North Africa and the Middle East which resulted in the destruction of hundreds of thriving Christian and Jewish communities.
I can guarantee that much time is spent on the horrors of Nazi Germany (no complaints about that, kids should know) but not one word regarding the Gulag or Mao's excesses is ever uttered, nor is one word in a textbook is ever assigned regarding the communist holocaust of the 20th century.
I can be certain that the history department in your local public school teaches students that Christianity has been the most murderous force in history and does not mention even once the relationship between atheist regimes and millions dead, tortured and raped in the last 100 years - a number of sufferers greater than all the victims of all the religious wars in history combined.
I can also know with virtual certainty that your local public high school teaches that America was an evil rotten place where nothing but slavery happened until Lincoln and nothing but Jim Crow happened until Obama was elected.
Aside from all the practical and economic issues regarding the ultimate value in earning power conferred by what the schools consider education, there is all of this, which is actually a more serious problem. And in college, it gets worse, not better.
So, my statement to the education industry is simply this.
NO, you get not one more cent of money, nor will I even consider doing so, until you clean up your act and stop indoctrinating our kids to be anti-American, anti-capitalist, anti-reason, and anti-Christian. NO, you get not one more cent of money until you teach about the atrocities of communism equally with those of fascism, and stop trying to teach kids to conflate Nazism with the American center/right (especally when teachers, most of whom are Dems, consider the conflation of Democrats with communism to be "red-baiting" - hypocrisy, much?).
NO, you get not one more cent until teachers at all levels stop trying to denigrate Western Civilization. NO, you get not one more cent until you stop teaching about the Crusades as a naked unprovoked act of imperialism against a peaceful non-aggressive Muslim world.
We can discuss the merits of more money for education after you fix those things, not before.

EH, that parallel struck me as well. Made me wonder if there wasn't something we hadn't heard about why this was even done, the story as related is totally lacking in the usual pious, obscure self-justification on the part of the atheistic bully. The tableau as described was strangely theatrical, these anti-religion types are usually not that imaginative. Was he going to burn someone at the stake after the ceremonial cross-stomping ceremony?

As ACE of Spades mentioned in his article - only Christians were asked to stomp on their holy symbol. Muslims were not asked to stomp on Allah or Mo, Liberals were not asked to stomp on Obama's name (their 'god').
Thus those groups would learn nothing from the so-called exercise - Christians were intentionally targeted. In fact they get the exact opposite effect as they get to stomp on the name of the opposition.
Message: Only christians are intolerant enough to require this lesson.

In looking into this story I came to find out that the exercise came from a text book written by someone I grew up with. He was a jerk and bully then and apparently hasn't changed. Very strange.
