[Boston.com] Officials released President B.O.'s uncle from Plymouth County jail yesterday after holding him for more than two weeks on an immigration detainer for violating an order to return to his native Kenya in 1992.
US officials refused to disclose any other information about Onyango Obama, who remained in the United States undetected until Framingham police locked away him Aug. 24 on drunken driving and other charges.
Yesterday, federal immigration officials refused to say whether the 67-year-old Framingham resident posted bond, whether they are keeping track of his whereabouts, or even whether they are still seeking his deportation, raising questions about public accountability in the case. Forget it, Jake. It's...Massachusetts.

Obama has lived here for almost 50 years, since he was a young man under the limited supervision of the presidents late father.
I should say the supervision was limited, being supervised by a dead guy
Says alot about who's supervising the supervisors

This guy's sister was given 'asylum' by a Boston immigration judge last year, after her illegal status became known when the big Zero was elected in 2008.

The White House

Dear Mr. President:
Thank you for your address to a Joint Session of the Congress last night, and for presenting your ideas. We believe creating long-term, sustainable jobs must be the top priority for elected leaders of both parties, and it is our desire to work with you to find common ground on steps that can be taken to allow our economy to grow and to create those jobs. While we have a different vision in terms of what is needed to boost private-sector job creation in our country, we believe your ideas merit consideration by the Congress, and believe the American people expect them to be given such consideration.
We look forward to receiving legislative text for any of your ideas in a manner that can be scored by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, and to the upcoming speech you described last night in which you will detail the offsets that will be needed to ensure your proposals are paid for.
The House and our committees will immediately begin the process of reviewing and considering your proposals. We will examine the impact of your proposals on both short and long term economic growth and we will identify modifications and additional ideas that could achieve economic and job growth in a manner that may be more impactful or effective. For instance, these ideas could include elements of the multiple bills passed by the House earlier this year to remove government barriers to private-sector job creation that are currently awaiting action in the Senate. In addition, the House will continue with the jobs agenda outlined last month which among other things would provide relief to our nations job creators especially small businesses from the high costs of some of your Administrations pending regulatory actions
As we are certain your advisors have told you, not all your ideas should be packaged in a single legislative vehicle. For instance, due to the structure of Trade Promotion Authority procedures, passage of the free trade agreements with our allies Colombia, Panama and South Korea is better achieved moving as stand-alone legislation. We again ask that you send those agreements immediately to the Congress for our consideration and approval.
We share your desire for bipartisan cooperation, and assume that your ideas were not presented as an all-or-nothing proposition, but rather in anticipation that the Congress may also have equally as effective proposals to offer for consideration. The American people expect us to bring together the best of both parties ideas, and it is our desire to work together to find common ground between your ideas and ours. The House is committed to working with our Senate colleagues and your administration to confront our nations economic and employment challenges.

Disgraced ex-Mass House Speaker Salvatore DiMasi was lambasted today for betraying hard-working constituents by a federal judge who sentenced him to eight years in prison and ordered him to report to jail Nov. 16.
U.S. District Judge Mark Wolf added DiMasi let voters down in a time when the state was slashing the budget taking money away from the elderly and from scholarships -- all while the House leader was accepting $65,000 in bribes.
The judge sent DiMasi away for eight years and ordered him to repay the Commonwealth the $65,000 he was convicted of accepting in bribes. Wolf also sentenced co-defendant Richard McDonough, a prominent State House lobbyist, to seven years in prison for his role in the scheme.
The president of the Chicago Teachers Union says Mayor Rahm Emanuel "exploded" at her during a debate over a longer school day, pointing his finger in her face and cursing.
So sad. They used to be BFFs, back in the day.
CTU President made the allegations in a Friday morning press release detailing a complaint filed by the union to the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board over the ongoing battle between the union and City Hall.
"A couple of weeks ago I sat down with the mayor in his office to talk about how to roll out a longer school year and what components would go into making it a better school year for our students but he did not want to have that conversation," said Lewis. "When I explained to him that a longer school day should not be used for warehousing or babysitting our youth he exploded, used profanity, pointed his finger in my face and yelled. At that point the conversation was over -- soon thereafter we found ourselves subject to a full-scale propaganda war over a moot point."

Donk on Donk
Shortest school day and year with the highest pay of big city school districts in the nation. More than half of the 'victims' drop out those that don't find they are not prepared to work at the car wash. Yeah, that's edumacation!
CTU has zero support from the residents of Chicago, just suicidal union hacks...just like the Wal-Mart flap
