Jim Geraghty, "The Campaign Spot" @ National Review
In all likelihood, Carly Fiorina's off-mike statement about Barbara Boxer's hair was exactly what it appeared to be one candidate examining the appearance of another candidate and finding it laughably anachronistic. . . . But as we all know, Barbara Boxer can be a little touchy. (Call me senator.') She has a bit of an ego, writing novels in which the protagonist is a crusading liberal Democratic senator from California who has been put here on earth to save its endangered children.' Click through to read a review. Marvel at the intensely steamy horse-breeding scene.
So it's not unthinkable that Fiorina or her campaign or both might think that upon hearing ridicule of her appearance, Boxer might be easily goaded into making a similar comment about Fiorina.
Usually-Democratic California is already pretty meh' on Boxer, where the incumbent is polling in the mid to high 40s. A comment mocking a recovering cancer patient's hair would be the sort of thing that would shift Boxer's image from a haughty, too-comfortable pol to a mean-spirited monster.
It didn't happen in this case. But I can't help but suspect that Team Fiorina will try to generate as many call me Senator' moments as possible. I suspect in their first debate, Fiorina will call her ma'am' early and often.
And if that doesn't work, she could always . . . unleash the Demonsheep!
A demonsheep versus Barbara Boxturtle? My money's on the sheep.

Carly Fiorina has battled the corporate glass ceiling and is battling cancer. Barbara Boxer is a small matter.

Least we for get. In the first clip below she insults a general for calling her maam. In the second, the black gentleman calls her maam repeatedly and she doesnt correct him, but she humiliated him since hes a conservative that doesnt bow to the NAACP. Her contempt for the military is evident.
Get this hag out of office.
[Iran Press TV Latest] US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has strongly criticized BP over the Gulf of Mexico oil leak which has turned into the biggest environmental disaster in the US history. "It is clear that there was a lack of integrity on the part of BP," Pelosi told reporters in the White House driveway upon emerging from a congressional leaders meeting with President Obama on Thursday. "That's right. You heard me. And they've got turkeyneck. And they use too much botox!
Pelosi questioned BP's authenticity about "the adequacy of their technology, the sufficiency of blowout prevention and the capacity to clean up."
Pelosi has also called for a suspension of BP's dividend to ensure that compensation is paid to oil spill victims. BP has come under fire by US officials for failing to cap ruptured under water well since April 20.
The BP oil leak started following an explosion at the BP-leased Deepwater Horizon oil rig which left 11 people dead on April 20.

According to Bloomberg, BP has been selling billions of $ of current oil production and buying far future (10 year) oil futures* (commodity producers normally do the opposite) even though these futures are at a $10 premium to current prices, which indicates to me BP are preparing for the worst case of abandoning their US operations entirely.
*Turn on the taps, produce as much oil as soon as possible and to hell with maximizing the long term production.

Pelosi actually knows a great deal about lack of integrity. She is experienced and expert in this matter. Or in other words "Pot calling the kettle black."

After Peloser said "integrity," did her lips fall off?

Pelosi has also called for a suspension of BP's dividend to ensure that compensation is paid to oil spill victims.
The US Speaker of the House is calling for defacto government seizure of private assets because the arbitrary pay out figure ($75 million) previously set by government may be inadequate. And BHO is already looking to broaden the definition of oil spill victims to include employees of the energy sector affected by his decision to arbitrarily suspend offshore exploration. Something tells me Hugo Chavez may soon suffer from uncontrollable laughing attacks.
