If you are a registered voter, vote. If you are not registered, take a few moments and register oniline. NOW. Turn out the Obama Congress. Get to know your local political structure and work it.

The most transparent and ethical congress ever, excepting the arm twisting, payoffs in pork, promised cushy jobs for those leaving, the backroom deals, and the abuse of process to prevent the GOP minority from even offering amendments, and ultimately the Representatives voting against the will of the people in their districts.

November 2010 will be too late. The same playbook that brought us ObamaCare will bring amnesty, crap and raid, and everything else. The game will be totally rigged by then.

Alaska, you are correct. Get with your local Teaparty and dtart the petition to Recall immediately. Get a copy of the petition approved by the New Jersey court they are using to recall a Senator there.

AP, I think you are too pessimistic. Nothing more will go through. The cost was too high. They can still run on the futures of how great things will be in 1914 2014.
[Iran Press TV Latest] Republicans in the US Senate say they will challenge President Barack Obama's health overhaul plan by introducing hundreds of amendments to the bill when it arrives in the Senate.
Appearing on Fox News on Sunday, Republican Senator John Cornyn of Texas illustrated the GOP tactics against the legislation, saying that the goal was "to highlight what is in the bill that is bad and why the American people are right when they say we don't want it."
Senator Cornyn went on to warn that there were "probably more on the order of hundreds of amendments" to challenge the sprawling USD 940 billion bill, AFP reported.
He said by disputing the specific provisions of the bill, the Republicans would try to demonstrate that the legislation does not reduce the deficit.
The Senate's presiding officer, Vice President Joe Biden, could at some point declare the amendments to be delaying tactics and call a vote on the bill.
"That could happen," said Cornyn. "But I guarantee it will happen on television, on C-Span and on Fox News and for 300 million people to see and I think there will be a terrible price to be paid for this sort of defying public opinion."
Democrats earlier predicted that the bill will pass the House to make history as they have garnered 216 necessary votes.

ION RUMORMILLNEWS > SORSCHA FAAL > WORLD MOURNS AS COMMUNIST DARKNESS FALLS UPON AMERICA.
[Iran Press TV Latest] US President Barack Obama could trust his Democratic colleagues at Congress as his health proposal has reportedly secured 216 votes necessary to clear the House of Representatives.
The House is due to decide on the legislation Sunday to extend health insurance coverage to virtually all Americans.
Appearing on the ABC's "This Week" on Sunday, the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, John Larson, said "We have the votes. We are going to make history today."
On Friday, President Obama said lawmakers would make history by passing his healthcare plan.
The vote on healthcare reform comes after a year of tough debate, months of setbacks, bitter partisanship and legislative logjams.
Known as Obamacare, the plan uses a blend of expanded government health programs and subsidies to buy private insurance. The bill would add 32 million Americans to the ranks of those already covered.
Among Western Industrial nations, the US is the only country that does not provide insurance for all its citizens.

"We are going to make history today."
Certainly the understatement of the year, but I doubt Larson realizes it. I'm really curious as to what Soetoro used to flip Stupak. On the teevee last evening, he looked as thought someone had just kidnapped his first born.

Such an order won't survive long after the takeover becomes law. I give it a week.
Actually Barry can probably leave it safely in place and even protest loudly as the courts eventually remind him that federal laws preempt executive orders.

I understand it was coersion rather than bribery. Stupak mentioned his wife was getting abusive and threatening phone calls at 2 & 3 AM on their private phone line at home.

A conservative running against Stupak, but we should remember that Stupak is just one of many who betrayed their constituents and the United States of America.

bman, I just earned some overtime (to come at the end of the next pay perios), which I was going to use for a little treat for myself, but now I'm planning on sending anything I can manage to scrape up, not only to Dr. Benishek, but to others around the country running against these TRAITORS.

Anyone else find it historically ironic that the "Health Care Reform Act" was passed by congress on the same day as the Stamp Act by Parliament in 1765?
