[FoxNews] Senate Republicans accused President Biden of creating an "intentional" crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, citing the administration's inaction on the issue despite record-breaking levels of illegal immigration.
Republican Senators led by Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., highlighted the immigration crisis in a Wednesday press conference and urged the Biden administration to further extend its use of Title 42. Lankford noted that immigration surges in the 2010s amounted to roughly half a million illegal border crossings each year. Today, the U.S. sees more than half a million border crossings every two months, Lankford said.
Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., soon took the podium and questioned Biden's intentions.
"It is becoming harder and harder not to conclude that the border crisis is intentional. I mean, nobody is this incompetent, right?" Kennedy said. "The Biden administration's position on Title 42, on the Remain in Mexico program … none of the president's positions on this make any sense to me unless I view it from the perspective of, well, maybe he wants this to happen."
"I confess it is a mystery to me. Nobody is this incompetent. It has to be intentional," he added.
Title 42 is a Trump-era public health order allowing border officials to deny asylum requests to the vast majority of those crossing the border, citing the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Biden administration has sought repeatedly to end the policy, but border officials have warned that doing so would exacerbate the already-unprecedented immigration crisis.
[FoxNews] The Biden administration funded a foreign "reporting tour" last year, sponsoring several overseas journalists who cover climate change, internal State Department emails showed.
In March 2021, high-ranking State Department officials discussed a proposal to sponsor foreign journalists to "have experiences that educate them on reporting on climate change," according to the emails obtained by Protect the Public's Trust (PPT) and shared with Fox News Digital. In the email exchange, officials from Special Presidential Envoy for Climate (SPEC) John Kerry's office and the Office of Global Change (EGC) praised the program as a "fantastic" and "great" idea.
"Jean Foschetti at the FPC mentioned this to me about a week ago," a State Department official whose name was redacted wrote in an email on March 23, 2021. "Sounds like a great reporting tour idea; basically, the FPC will sponsor multiple foreign reporters to have experiences that educate them on reporting on climate change. Can EGC and SPEC take a look and clear?"
"Thanks for sharing … I think this sounds like a fantastic FPC (virtual) reporting tour and I'm looking forward to the stories that will come out of this," a second redacted official responded one day later.
The FPC reporting tour — titled "Combating the Climate Crisis Through U.S. Innovation" — ultimately took place during a two-week stretch in May 2021. The event was designed to "promote the Administration’s goal of prioritizing the fight against climate change through global efforts to reduce emissions," according to the State Department.
"The FPC … offered this virtual program to enable journalists to remotely develop their reporting about the United States’ renewed approach to addressing the climate crisis and its innovation and research, particularly in the areas of reducing emissions and renewable energy," the State Department states on its website.
While the State Department quietly announced the program in 2021, though, it failed to mention that it would be funded by U.S. taxpayer money or that the foreign reporters would be "sponsored." It is unclear which reporters and outlets were sponsored by the State Department program.
The tour came as the Biden administration was moving forward with its aggressive green energy and climate push.
"The American public may be shocked but, unfortunately, not surprised to learn their taxpayer funds are being used to promote climate alarmism around the world," Michael Chamberlain, director of the PPT, told Fox News Digital. "The State Department should come clean about which foreign publications, articles, and authors they are forcing American taxpayers to fund."
"However, one thing Protect the Public’s Trust has learned from this FOIA request is that transparency is not one of State’s strengths," Chamberlain said. "The more that is revealed the more it becomes clear why the American public’s trust in its government continues its rapid collapse."

With all the journalists being laid off we ought to be getting more value out of the increasingly worthless money we spend for fake climate change news. It is probably worth setting up some kind of exchange where interested parties can buy fake news of all sorts at commodity prices. We could call it something like the Associated Press or AP for short.

[Breitbart] In an unprecedented move, Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee on Tuesday voted to release several years’ worth of former President Donald Trump’s tax returns.
The committee’s vote came after chairman Richard Neal (D-MA) started a lengthy court battle in 2019 to review Trump’s tax returns. Last month, the U.S. Supreme Court denied Trump’s request to block an appeals court order ruling that he turn over his tax returns and financial information to the committee, ABC News reported.
Members of the Ways and Means Committee met behind closed doors on Tuesday for more than three hours before ultimately voting along party lines, 24-16, to release Trump’s tax records.
The committee reportedly voted to release the transcript of the closed-door proceedings when appropriate.
The committee did not clarify how and when Trump’s tax records will be released but did announce there will be two days to redact sensitive information before anything is released.
Trump spokesman Steven Cheung blasted the committee’s decision and accused the Democrats of "playing a political game."

If there was anything there, they would make a criminal referral. Shame on the judges that facilitated this political graffiti.

A man who donated his entire salary to charity and whose companies lost $1 billion in value while Democrats in and out of government used illegal methods to try and destroy him didn't owe federal income taxes? Why I never.
The LSD's in Congress have set a prescient for all branch leadership & immediate family to be required to release Tax Returns.
Also, The committee reportedly voted to release the transcript of the closed-door proceedings when appropriate.
Wondering now what would be Politically "appropriate" ☺.
[Breitbart] Breitbart Texas reviewed a Monday directive to all Customs and Border Protection managers which gags them from releasing migrant apprehension statistics through social media accounts or directly to the public without the express approval of the Department of Homeland Security. The directive precludes Border Patrol managers from releasing any interim arrest statistics or stories as the decision over the potential end Title 42 enforcement now sits before the Supreme Court.
The source, not authorized to speak to the media, says the message is intended to curb routine disclosures of migrant apprehensions near the southern border. These are generally provided by Border Patrol Chief Patrol Agents via social media and comments to journalists. The unprecedented directive was circulated on Monday and took immediate effect.

^ No, pay close attention, keep working to get pub majorities at the state level that can reform voting practices (though, that didn't help in PeeAye) and move forward.
But realize nothing is going to happen in AZ over the most recent election.

I would be more optimistic if we were pushing back against Dems. If the Republicans try to roll out Rank Choice voting in Ohio, there will be pushback.

Wrong paper size by an inch dimension
The paper size is the same for both. The printing on the correct ballot is 19 inches as expected by the ballot counting machine. The illegal ballots had the printing increased to 20 inches. That caused the votes (bubbles filled in) to no longer align as expected by the counter. Ballot is rejected and goes into a bin. They should have been hand counted but were illegally mixed in with counted ballots and ignored. A completely fraudulent election.
[NYPOST] FTX’s new leadership team signaled that it will attempt to claw back money that disgraced ex-billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried and his close associates improperly funneled to various entities — including a fortune in donations to political candidates.
New FTX CEO John Ray and the company’s other caretakers said they have received inquiries from various recipients who want to give back the money, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.
The bankrupt company called on others who took money from Bankman-Fried and other FTX executives to return the funds.
"To the extent such payments are not returned voluntarily, the FTX debtors intend to commence actions before the bankruptcy court to require the return of such payments, with interest accruing from the date any action is commenced," FTX said in a statement.
Bankman-Fried’s illicit spending spree before FTX’s collapse included at least $40 million in political contributions to Democratic candidates and political action committees.

Common law is clear
Illegally obtained property/funds/assets cannot be legally given, and the person owning or purchasing stolen property must return it and could face prison.
eg. When discovered, a stolen firearm must be returned to the rightful owner.
Otherwise, a Stage 4 Cancer person could just rob a bank. Give the $$$$$$$ to their family for medical bills and their ongoing continued living expenses.
[Daily Caller] Tucker Carlson lit into Congress Wednesday for "fawning" over Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as the United States’ southern border "collapses completely."
"As the American border collapses completely, our Congress turns its fawning attention to the Ukraine and the man our congress has been funding with the tax dollars to prosecute a war whose consequences can be more profound than most Americans understand," Carlson said as Zelenskyy concluded his address to a joint meeting of Congress. (RELATED: US To Announce $1.8 Billion In Weapons Aid For Ukraine Ahead Of Zelenskyy’s Expected Visit To DC: REPORT)
Zelenskyy met with President Joe Biden in the White House prior to his Wednesday evening address to Congress, the Washington Times reported. During his address to Congress, Zelenskyy called aid to Ukraine an "investment" in protecting democracy around the world.
United States Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) encountered over 2.3 million migrants in Fiscal Year 2022, with another 230,000 in October, the first month of the new fiscal year, according to official figures, while another 600,000 migrants evaded CBP, Fox News reported. The Supreme Court is debating a request by the Biden administration to allow Title 42, a Trump administration public health measure, to expire after pausing a ruling by U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan that would have ended the use of the provision Wednesday.
