Canada is killing the sick and infirm (and kids without parents consent I read recently). now they have girl gangs killing homeless. The kind polite Canada seems to have been replaced by some cross of Logans Run and Clockwork Orange.
[NYPOST] "Bling" Bishop Lamor Whitehead — the flashy Brooklyn pastor who was robbed at gunpoint during a church service earlier this year— was arrested by federal agents Monday for allegedly scamming a member of his congregation, among other charges.
Whitehead — who preaches a "prosperity gospel," drives a Rolls-Royce and often wears pricey jewelry and Gucci suits — was indicted on two counts of wire fraud, one count of extortion, and one count of making material false statements for lying to the FBI, federal prosecutors said.
If convicted, he faces a maximum of 65 years in prison.
The feds allege Whitehead, 44, swindled one of his parishioners out of $90,000 of her retirement savings by promising to use the cash to buy her a home — and instead blowing it on luxury goods and clothing, according to the indictment.
In another alleged scheme, he extorted a businessman for $5,000 and asked the man to lend him $500,000 — promising he could "obtain favorable actions by the New York City government" in exchange for the cash and interest in real estate transactions, the indictment states.
[10 News] Ya think? "Hey! Any of youse missing this?"
HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Tenn. — An investigation is underway like none other in an absolutely bizarre case. This comes after the gruesome discovery of a human heart in a Tennessee Department of Transportation salt barn.
The case is now being treated as a homicide, which is now in the hands of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. They'll work on determining where the heart came from, who it came from and why it ended up in a salt bar. They know there was only the adult human heart believed to be from a male.
"Anytime we go on the scene where there's a body or remains, we treat it as a homicide, and then basically prove different," said Chris Davis, sheriff of Humphreys County.
Authorities have found no other remains on the premises of this TDOT salt barn in Humphreys County.
So, how to explain this one gruesome discovery?
"Somebody, somewhere, knows," said Sheriff Davis, but he added that clues have been hard to come by.
A TDOT worker moving salt discovered the heart last week.
Those who have seen it describe the heart as dehydrated from the salt — about the size of a tennis ball. They told NewsChannel 5 it appeared undamaged as though it had been surgically removed.
"A heart doesn't naturally leave the body as part of the decaying process, so clearly, there is some human involvement here. And the question is if it's criminal in nature," said NewsChannel 5 legal analyst Nick Leonardo.
For now, the sheriff said that's the assumption.
There is now a two-pronged investigation.
First, the TBI will seek to track the origin of the salt delivered to the barn, but that may prove difficult.
Morton provides bulk salt for roads in Tennessee and draws from some 20 facilities across the country.
For now, there's no evidence the heart came from any of those facilities.
And second, the crime lab is working on a DNA sample from the heart ...
It may now be several weeks before authorities can come up with a full DNA profile. Then they can try checking databases to try to determine who or where the heart came from.
Those close to the case admit it's possible the mystery of the heart will never be solved.
Some had wondered if the heart could be that of little Joe Clyde Daniel, a child who disappeared nearly five years ago from nearby Dickson County.
The sheriff says no because the heart found at the salt facility belonged to an adult male.

Start by investigating who packs a lunch and who utilizes the overpriced, unattended, snack bar system. It would have had to have some in through a lunchbox as it sounds entirely too fresh for one of those snack bar fridges.

These salt facilities are usually a large quonset hut open on both ends where road salt is stored for easy access. They are all over the state and are untended.

Steelers and NFL legend Franco Harris has died at 72, according to multiple reports.
Harris, who played fullback for Pittsburgh for over a decade in the 1970s and early ’80s, was a four-time Super Bowl champion and a Pro Football Hall of Famer. He made the Pro Bowl nine times and was the NFL’s rushing touchdown leader in 1976.
Harris was perhaps most famous for being the recipient of the “Immaculate Reception” in 1972, one of the most famous plays in NFL history, catching a ball thrown by Terry Bradshaw that appeared to bounce off a Raiders defender and running it for a game-winning touchdown. His death comes just two days before the 50th anniversary of the play, which will be commemorated on Saturday as the Steelers and Raiders play each other.

Haven’t they shot several ICBMs in the rough direction of the US already? Is this an NK version of ranting us a second time? Most of all, if they do get lucky and hit us, do we have a response planned that is carbon neutral?

A Turkish court has acquitted 103 retired admirals whom President Recep Tayyip #Erdogan accused of eyeing a “coup,” state media report.#Turkeyhttps://t.co/aGtjYnTkE2
*shrug* They’ve sat in prison for years and been stripped of their possessions — turning them loose now, poor and unable to find work, is just an additional punishment for daring to think themselves part of the checks and balances of Ataturk’s original Ottoman-busting plan.
[Breitbart] Twitter maintained a strict ban on foreign influence operations over the past half-decade — except in the case of the U.S. government, which was permitted to use the platform for "psychological influence operations" abroad, according to a new installment in the Twitter Files.
The Twitter Files are a series of disclosures of internal documents to journalists, a project championed by the platform’s new owner, SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk. The latest batch was published by Lee Fang, a journalist at the Intercept.
According to Fang, despite public pledges to shut down all government-backed platform manipulation, Twitter made an exception for the U.S.
"Twitter gave approval & special protection to the U.S. military’s online psychological influence ops," wrote Fang. "Despite knowledge that Pentagon propaganda accounts used covert identities, Twitter did not suspend many for around 2 years or more. Some remain active."

Goes a bit deeper than originally thought does it? How shocking.
All of this activity conducted by Twitter employees/'former' USG personnel as an ad hoc additional duty? Security clearance billets involved or passed? Facility Security officer (FSO) questioned ?

It seems to be several issues. Targeting systems failing to stay calibrated on some, suspension issues on others, engine failures on others.
In a wartime environment they most likely to do ok, especially in defense. But the list of issues is to wide to ignore and points to a shit development and procurement program for it. The Germans do make some damn fine weapons. This ain't one of them.... yet.
