Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... ’s Marjah district has been cleared of bully boyz after security forces launched a military operation two weeks ago, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement on Saturday night.
"At least 37 Taliban, including their military commander Mullah Abdul Bari, have been killed and dozens of others have been maimed," the statement said, adding that "The district has been completely cleared of Death Eaters."
"The forces also cleared three roadside mines on the highways, destroyed two weapons caches and destroyed six Taliban recruiting centers during the operation," the statement said.
The Taliban have not yet commented over the operation.
Local officials confirmed that the district has been surrounded by the Taliban over the past four years and "all the highways were blocked to military convoys."

[BREITBART] Jihadists from the Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... terror group hacked to death a 12-year-old boy with machetes for his refusal to become a "child soldier" of the group.
Although news of the slaughter has only just reached the west, the holy warriors are believed to have kidnapped the Christian schoolboy in a raid on the northern Cameroon ...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there... district of Tourou on or around November 19.
The boy and his mother reportedly beat feet from their home as the holy warriors began their raid on the village, going door to door looting homes of anything of value, including clothes and bedding. The jihadists eventually caught up with the boy, killing him after hearing of his unwillingness to join their army. Members of the jihadist group frequently abduct male children and oblige them to train as soldiers.
Boko Haram has been intensifying assaults on Christian villages in the far north of Cameroon in an effort to extend a west African Islamic caliphate from north-eastern Nigeria all the way to northern Cameroon.
In early November, Boko Haram holy warriors killed retired Christian pastor David Mokoni along with a hearing-impaired Christian boy during an attack on a church in Moskota, in northern Cameroon. A few days earlier, Islamic holy warriors split the skull of a 15-year-old Christian boy with an axe as he slept in Kotserehé village.
A member of the village’s vigilance committee said the attackers came to the village on October 31 "armed with machetes, axes, knives, and clubs, and cut out anyone they met on their way," adding that "they were literally chopped up by their executioners."

"Yemeni air defenses were able to shoot down a Chinese-made Wing Loong fighter reconnaissance aircraft in the Hiran district of Hajjah province this evening during hostilities", Sarea said in a post in Twitter.
Sarea added that the operation was caught on tape and that footage will be published shortly.
Earlier in the day, Yemeni news outlet Almasirah released footage it said showed the Saudi Apache military helicopter shot down on Friday. Sarea on Friday said that two crew members on board the helicopter died.
The purported spike in hostilities comes after a week which saw peace overtures from the Saudi-led coalition. A statement by the Saudi defence ministry on Tuesday announced the release of 200 Houthi captives from its prisons and the reopening of the airport in Yemen’s capital Sanaa for medical patients.
[Daily Mail via Weasel Zippers] Six of the eight terrorist plotters who were jailed along with London Bridge attacker Usman Khan in 2012 have also been freed from prison, it has emerged.
The nine jihadists were members of an al-Qaeda-inspired cell which plotted to blow up the London Stock Exchange and kill Boris Johnson.
One is still in prison, another was convicted for a further terror plot and Khan is dead ‐ leaving six back on the streets, it is believed.
Three of the nine ‐ Khan, Mohammad Shahjahan and Nazam Hussein ‐ were initially handed indefinite prison terms, but the trio won an appeal in 2013 which changed them to fixed sentences.
Allowing their appeal, former press inquiry chair Lord Justice Leveson found they had been ’wrongly characterised’ as more dangerous than the others.
Khan was released in December 2018 after serving half of his fixed sentence ‐ and the other two have also been freed, The Sun on Sunday reported.

And Usman looks like Santa's little helper compared to most of them. Shame on those judges and even those cops who don't just fire away when they raid these people.
[FoxNews] Four police officers were among nearly two dozen people killed after security forces engaged in an hour-long gunbattle with suspected cartel members Saturday in a Mexican town near the U.S. border, days after President Trump said he was moving to designate Mexican drug cartels as terror organizations.
The shootout happened around noon in the small town of Villa Union, a town in Coahuila state located about an hour’s drive southwest of Eagle Pass, Texas.
Coahuila state Gov. Miguel Angel Riquelme told local media that four of the dead were police officers killed in the initial confrontation and that several municipal workers were missing. On Sunday, the Coahuila state government said that security forces killed seven additional members of the gang, bringing the death toll to at least 21.

Usual suspects: If they're not Iranians, the Iraqis are not dealing with the problem.
[ALMASDARNEWS] Iraqi protesters have set fire to the Iranian consulate in the city of Najaf, marking the second time in a week that this has happened at this diplomatic mission.
The Directorate of Civil Defense in the province of Najaf confirmed in a statement on Sunday that the consulate was on fire and that firefighting units were attempting to extinguish the flames.
First reports about this incident were spread on social networking sites, as they circulated photos and videos showing a group of protesters set alight the consulate for the second time in a week.
The Iranian consulate in neighboring Karbala was burned earlier this month by angry protesters who called for curbing Iran’s growing influence in Iraq.

[IsraelTimes] The men, both residents of East Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber, attempted to join jihadist group’s Sinai branch earlier this year.
Two Paleostinian men were indicted Sunday for planning a terror attack targeting Israeli revelers during the nation’s upcoming Independence Day in April.
The two, 21-year-old Ahmad Ja’abis and 19-year-old Basel Abidat, are residents of the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber.
According to the indictment filed by Jerusalem prosecutors, they became interested in the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... terror group in 2016, studied bomb-making and rocket construction online, and tried to join the organization’s "Sinai Province" branch in Egypt earlier this year.
Abidat attempted to cross into Sinai through Jordan in June, but was stopped by Jordanian border police, the indictment said.
Ja’abis, meanwhile, raised NIS 2,000 ($576) for IS and sent it to the group through an unnamed third party.
In September, with their attempts to join IS in Sinai stymied, the two discussed ways to carry out terror attacks against Israelis instead.
They considered shooting attacks at popular public venues on Independence Day, such as Jerusalem’s Safra Square and Sultan’s Pool, or more limited stabbing attacks if they failed to obtain firearms. They also discussed a shooting attack against a military base in the Jordan Valley. Independence Day 2020 begins on the evening of April 28.
The attacks, the indictment charges, were intended "to kill as many Jews as possible in the name of ISIS [IS]."
The two are charged with membership in a terror organization and planning terror attacks.
Only a few dozen of Israel’s roughly 1.56 million Arab citizens and permanent residents have joined the ranks of Islamic State since it declared its self-styled "caliphate" in 2014, according to the Shin Bet security service. Most were either killed in action or have since returned to Israel and been arrested.
On July 31, one Arab Israeli, Sayyaf Sharif Daoud, was interviewed on Al Arabiya asking Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to work to repatriate him from a Syrian prison.
In April, Interior Minister Aryeh Deri moved to strip another IS fighter of his Israeli citizenship for traveling to Syria to join the group six years earlier. Deri instructed ministry officials to take action in absentia against Abdallah Hajleh at the recommendation of the Shin Bet.

[ALMASDARNEWS] An unidentified drone briefly entered the Upper Galilee region from southern Leb on Saturday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said.
According to the IDF statement, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) entered northern Israel for a brief time before making its way back to Leb.
The IDF statement did not state who the drone belonged to, nor did they specify if the UAV was a military or civilian aircraft.
The Lebanese Ministry of Defense has not commented on these claims from the Israeli Defense Forces.
While Lebanese aircrafts rarely enter Israeli territory, the IDF warplanes enter Lebanese airspace on a daily basis.
These constant airspace violations has resulted in several complaints from the Lebanese military to the UNIFIL personnel along the country’s southern border.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a big counter-offensive to retake the areas they lost to the jihadist rebels over the last 24 hours in the southeastern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.
Led by the 25th Special Mission Forces (formerly Tiger Forces), the Syrian Arab Army began the counter-offensive by storming the areas they recently lost to Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else ...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State... and their allies at two axes.
Following a fierce confrontation on Sunday, the Syrian Arab Army managed to retake all of the areas they lost to the jihadists, including the key town of ’Aajaz, which was one of the primary targets for Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and the Ottoman Turkish-backed National Liberation Front ...the Turkic paramilitaries intended to replace with their native jihadi ferocity all the highly trained Turkish soldiers Sultan Erdogan I the much beloved has jailed in the last few years for not worshipping the ground he walks upon. The Uighurs and so forth who did not join Al Nusra or ISIS seem to have ended up here... According to a military source in the nearby Hama Governorate, the Syrian Arab Army attempted to take advantage of the chaotic bully boy retreat by seizing more ground near ’Aajaz; however, the attack was ultimately stifled after the enemy forces regrouped.
[ALMASDARNEWS] The jihadist rebels launched a new offensive in the southeastern countryside of the Idlib Governorate on Saturday in a bid to capture several sites near the Abu Dhuhour Airport.
According to a field report from southeastern Idlib, the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else ...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State... and their allies captured four towns from the Syrian Army after catching them off guard at the ’Aajaz front.

[AnNahar] Two days of festivities between regime forces and gangs in Syria's last major opposition bastion have killed nearly 70 on both sides, a war monitoring group said Sunday.
The battles in the northwestern province of Idlib are the most violent there since a Russian-brokered ceasefire agreement went into effect in late August, said the head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
On Sunday morning, clouds of smoke rose over the Maaret al-Numan region as warplanes pounded jihadists and allied rebels in positions they had recently recaptured from regime forces, said an AFP correspondent.
Residents of affected villages fled north to escape the fighting, adding to the tens of thousands who have already flooded out of the province's violence-plagued south since an escalation started earlier this year.
The Observatory on Sunday put the corpse count from fighting at 69 combatants since battles started the previous day.
At least 36 regime forces were among those killed.
It said an attack led by Syria's former al-Qaeda affiliate on several regime positions had initially sparked the fighting.
Overnight, the Syrian army backed by Russian warplanes launched a counter-push to reclaim territory it had lost in the battles, according to the Britannia-based war monitor.
Regime forces have since regained lost ground but violent festivities are ongoing, the war monitor and an AFP correspondent said.
[ALMASDARNEWS] Syrian state television ... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
reported on Saturday that several U.S. military vehicles had entered northeastern Syria from Iraq’s northwestern border.
According to Syrian TV, the U.S. military convoy consisted of more than 20 trucks that first entered Syria’s al-Hasakah Governorate from Iraq’s Nineveh (var. Ninawa) Governorate.
They pointed out that the U.S. military convoy was transporting new equipment to the coalition troops that were deployed to the oil rich region of Syria’s Deir Ezzor Governorate.
Earlier in the week, some 60 military vehicles belonging to U.S. forces arrived at the Rmeilan Oil Fields in the al-Hasakah Governorate; they have reportedly remained there to ’protect’ the site.
