[The Hill] President Trump on Tuesday asked why "deep state authorities" aren't looking into the handling of the investigation into then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's emails, referencing a guest who had just appeared on Fox News.
"Charles McCullough, the respected fmr Intel Comm Inspector General, said the public was misled on Crooked Hillary Emails," Trump tweeted. "Why aren’t our deep State authorities looking at this? Rigged and corrupt?"

Somebody needs to come clean on the Christopher Steele dossier. If it was used to secure FISA warrants to monitor Trump Towers or anyone else, they (FBI) have just shi* the bunk.
[NBC] Police in Tampa, Florida, said Tuesday night that they plan to charge a man who was detained at a McDonald's with four counts of first-degree murder in connection with a series of shooting deaths that authorities had said could be the work of a serial killer.
Acting on a tip about someone with a gun, officers found the man, identified as Howell E. Donaldson III, 24, at the McDonald's in Tampa's Ybor City neighborhood, Police Chief Brian Dugan told reporters.
Dugan gave no further information about Donaldson, including his hometown, saying charging documents were still being drafted. But he said he believed Donaldson may have worked at the restaurant at some point.
Florida records indicated that Donaldson has no criminal past beyond a handful of traffic citations.
"Tonight, goodness has won," Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn said. "Tonight in the battle between darkness and light, light has won."
[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] Mohammed Ali Mohammed admitted raping two Utah women at knife point when he was just 14 in 2011
He was incarcerated for six years in juvenile detention but was due to age out of the system when he turns 21 next month
Judge decided rather than send him to adult prison, she would sentence him to five years probation
Sentence is a blow to his victims who had asked for him to be sent to jail
One woman, who Mohammed raped in her own home before forcing her to withdraw money from an ATM, is 'terrified' at the thought her rapist will be free
Breaking down in tears in court, she told the judge: 'He did adult crimes and should have an adult sentence to match what he did'
Prosecutors said the life of other victim, once a promising college student, fell apart after the assault, descending into drugs and trouble with the law
Mohammed admits he was 'a monster' but said he'd turned his life around
Court also heard how he'd witnesses his brother's murder, and suffered sexual abuse, as a child in the Somali refugee camps in Yemen before coming to the US

Still treating 'juvenile' crime as though it was the old days of joy driving and popping gum machines. Be adjudged by the act you commit not some adjectival descriptive of who you are.

[YAHOO] A man in Australia was sacked after he relied on a 180-year-old scientific discovery to help prevent his colleagues discovering his whereabouts while he played golf during work hours.
Tom Colella, a 60-year-old electrician in Perth, lost his job after an anonymous letter to his firm claimed that he left work to play golf at least 140 times over the last two years.
Australia’s Fair Work Commission, a workplace tribunal, heard that Mr Colella blocked his whereabouts by storing his personal digital assistant, a phone-like device that has a GPS inside, in an empty foil packet of Twisties, a puffy cheese-based snack that is popular in Australia.
The tribunal found that the packet was deliberately used to operate as an elaborate "Faraday cage" - an enclosure which can block electromagnetic fields - and prevented his employer knowing his location. The cage set-up was named after English scientist Michael Faraday, who in 1836 observed that a continuous covering of conductive material could be used to block electromagnetic fields.
"I can find no plausible explanation why Mr Colella would create a Faraday cage around his PDA, except to obstruct the GPS collecting capacity of the device," said Bernie Riordan, a commissioner at the tribunal.

RJS, its' because they would page him on his phone and he has to respond within probably 30 minutes. Hear the ring, head down the road and answer.
It's part of the 'always on call' that a lot of people work under now.
I find that forgetting to put it on the charger works well.

[Independent] A Russian man has died after he pulled the pin out of a hand grenade and posted photographs of himself holding it.
Alexander 'Sasha' Chechik was killed instantly in the incident in the city of Labinsk in south west Russia, police said.
According to local news outlet Kuban.kp.ru, the man had sent a text to a friend, including a picture of the grenade in his hand with the pin pulled from the device lying nearby.
In the text exchange, the man’s friend asks him where he is and if everything is ok.
“It depends by what you mean ‘OK’,” he replied, posting the photograph of the grenade.
“Listen, don’t f*** around,” his friend then replied before following it up with: “Where are you,” to which they received no response.
According to Russia’s Interfax news service, police have launched an investigation into the illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition.
[THEHILL] GQ special correspondent Keith Olbermann announced Monday that he is "retiring from political commentary in all media venues" during his online program "The Resistance."
The former ESPN, MSNBC, Current TV and Fox Sports host said he was "confident" President Trump's presidency would end soon, thereby making it the "correct moment" to exit from making further political commentary.
"I am confident now even more so than I have been throughout the last year that this nightmare presidency of Donald John Trump will end prematurely and end soon, and I am thus also confident that this is the correct moment to end this series of commentaries," Olbermann said, adding that Trump will either be removed from office or forced to resign by his own party sometime in the next 13 months.
The 58-year-old progressive provocateur insisted to his viewers that he wasn't being fired and was in good health.
"No illness. No scandal. No firing. Just I've said what I've had to say," Olbermann said. "It was as obvious as I made it seem. I give my work everything I can, so it's not like I can dial it back."
"I am retiring from political commentary in all media venues," he concluded. "Thank you for all the kind words and all the support. Have fun storming the castle. My work here is done. Matter of fact, so is Trump's."

[PRESSTV] The US government has threatened to take unspecified measures against South Sudan unless it moves to end the nearly four-year war and stop harassing United Nations ...an idea whose time has gone... peacekeepers and international aid workers.
US Ambassador Nikki Haley ...Trump administration's ambassador to the UN. First woman to serve as Governor of South Carolina, and the second Indian-American governor in the country, after Bobby Jindal of Louisiana. At the age of 39, Haley was the youngest governor in the U.S., a distinction formerly held by Jindal. She is a Republican, which really grates on the Dems... on Tuesday put the responsibility squarely on South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir to take action, telling the UN Security Council that "words are no longer sufficient."
"The United States is prepared to pursue additional measures against the government - or any party, for that matter - if they do not act to end the violence and ease the suffering in South Sudan," Haley said.
"Going forward the United States will judge President Kiir and his government by their actions, not their words," she said.
Last year, Washington unsuccessfully pushed for an arms embargo on South Sudan and international sanctions on bigwigs.
Haley said Kiir must uphold ceasefires, join a new regional peace initiative, stop placing restrictions on UN peacekeepers and allow access for aid groups.
A report released Tuesday by UN monitors accused South Sudan’s government of using food aid as a weapon of war during its campaign against opposition forces in the northwestern city of Wau.
After aid finally reached civilians in August, the first time in a year, humanitarian workers "witnessed significantly high levels of malnutrition, with high rates of severe acute malnutrition," the report said.

[CNN] Beijing A top Chinese general hanged himself after coming under investigation for corruption charges, China's state-run news agency Xinhua reported Tuesday.
General Zhang Yang, the former head of the Chinese military's political work department, was found dead at his home on November 23, the news agency said.
Military investigators had launched an investigation into Zhang's ties to two former Central Military Commission vice chairmen -- Guo Boxiong and Xu Caihou -- who fell prey to President Xi Jinping's massive anti-corruption campaign.
Xinhua said investigators found Zhang had seriously violated party discipline and broke the law by allegedly giving and accepting bribes as well as possessing a huge amount of money, the sources of which he could not account for.
He was allowed to stay at home during the early stages of the investigation, the report said.
Zhang was a member of the Central Military Commission, which runs the two-million strong People's Liberation Army.
More than 1.4 million people have been punished under Xi's anti-corruption campaign since 2012, according to state media, including around 300 senior officials.
In a scathing commentary published by the People's Liberation Army Daily Tuesday, the paper said he "wanted to evade punishment by party discipline and state law by committing suicide -- such behavior was extremely despicable."

The "Today" show and Lauer were most popular; cornerstone of the program for two decades.
Someone else must not like Lauer and NBC. The network MSM viewership has been diminishing for years, probably because of a lack of trust and being left-wing agenda-driven. In a nutshell, they have been dishing up fake news and people are on to them. Moreover, talking heads like Lauer, Rose and others are very high-priced. Lauer was reported to make $25 mil annually. Maybe his behavior was inappropriate. Maybe this was also an opportunity to dump an over-priced prima donna. Perhaps a chance for NBC to get rid of a behavioral problem and improve the bottom line at the same time. Maybe a part of the swamp or sewer draining.
[Daily Caller] The majority of graduating students at a Washington, D.C. high school did not attend more than six weeks of high school, but still managed to get into college, an investigation into the students’ records found.
NPR and WAMU looked into the seniors who graduated from Ballou High School in 2017, a school located in a poverty stricken area of the nation’s capital, to see how much school the graduating students missed. Ballou High School was previously heavily praised for all students in its senior class getting into college.
Almost half of the graduates had unexcused absences that totaled to more than three months of missed school, documents obtained by NPR and WAMU reveal. About 20 percent of the high school graduates were absent more times than they were present for classes, emails and records also show.
The District of Columbia Public Schools system policy states that students who misses a class more than 30 times should fail that class, according to WAMU.
Despite these absences, all of the 2017 seniors got into a college, a feat for which the school received high praise. One student said the class-wide acceptance was a repudiation of all those who said the school ‐ where at one point only 3 percent of students met the reading standards ‐ couldn’t do it.
"Everybody just, they was betting on us failing, and we all came together and we graduated," said student Me’Ashja Hamilton.
Some teachers who spoke to the outlet said they felt they had to graduate failing students due to pressure from the high school administration. Other teachers said the lack of expectations allowed students to do what they wanted and not show up for class.

How many of them will graduate college and, more importantly, what will they do upon such graduation? What will they be qualified to do?
I'm concerned about the money being squandered on all of this but the real tragedy here is high school teaches them absolutely nothing that they can use to get real, productive jobs. High school only wastes their time and now they're being encouraged to waste four more years in college where they will also be taught nothing that they can use to get real, productive jobs.

Reading skills, maths, graduation; none of this matters. Affirmative Action will ensure 'end to end' programme success. What are your questions.
