[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Why didn't we stock up? As whirlwind of post-lockdown illnesses strike children and trigger shortages of key drugs, experts say situation was entirely predictable and money should have been spent on stockpiling antibiotics instead of Covid shots
America is running out of five essential medicines, including frontline child antibiotic amoxicillin
Covid lockdowns, mask mandates and the virus itself sidelined seasonal infections for two years
But experts have been warning throughout the pandemic that they would return and cause more illness
While speaking on KTAR News 92.3 FM’s "Arizona’s Morning News" on Nov. 21, Gates noted that the condition hasn’t interfered with his work in the state’s election system.
"I’m not in hiding ... but I’ll put it this way. When the sheriff suggests that I spend the night somewhere else, I do it," Arizona’s top election official told the station.
Now it’s being reported that Gates is hiding out somewhere per a recommendation of the Soros-backed Sheriff in Maricopa County.

Great theater. Like those nasty republicans do nasty and hurtful things when they dont get their way. Like blocking freeways, protesting at peoples houses, burning down cities, and on and on. Maracopa needs to come clean here, or they will be the first to realize what republican will do...

Way back when, we lived in Phoenix (Maricopa County.) It was a relatively sane and sensible metropolis. I'm surprised at the turn it has taken in the last 40 years.

The most egregious case of blue area emigration, as it's relatively close to Cali. At least Nevada is coming around, so maybe there's hope yet. That said, hope is not a plan...

Aside from Lombado beating a deeply disliked Sisolak, every state office stayed Dem, and Cortez-Masto somehow won, after the mysterious camera failure in Washoe County Election Hqs and the shift-contrary to polling, back to blue. Worst was the unions in LV setting up massive ballot-curing ops that just kept "curing" ballots overwhelmingly in one direction. We had hopes and momentum, then a long week and poof...nobody I know thinks it was honest, and nobody actually thinks a damn thing will be done about it!

A couple or three hundred thousand illegal immigrants from south of the border will do that for you. Don't blame Californians. They're trying to get away from the mess that Bill Clinton made when he left the border wide open in that state just like Biden is trying to do now to Texas.

Yeah, and you know damn good and well those illegal immigrants will vote sooner or later because the Democrats wouldn't let them into the country if they didn't.

Gates can talk all he wants about how it wasn't fraud and Republicans weren't kept from voting and how privileged he is to serve the people of Maricopa County but, if he's a Democrat and his lips were moving, he was lying.

Could there possibly be a twitter SW "high side" or deeply encrypted section where the privileged or select DS personnel communicated, collected and collated inputs ?
Any interest in this development at Google, FB, Yahoo, AT&T, Verizon, etc ?

If the secret document include verification that the White House was dictating Twitter’s suppression of the laptop, I am more interested. As for it restoring public trust, I am not trusting any public official anytime soon anyway.

[Just The News] As I said the other day, precedent has been set that the Donks will regret
Fight for secret bank records aims to compare payments to presidential son from foreign interest to benefits to Joe Biden, key investigator says.
Still smarting from Democrats' protracted fight to get Donald Trump's private tax records, House Republicans are planning to turn the tables and fight for secret bank records showing the timing of suspicious foreign payments to Hunter Biden in hopes of determining if any such proceeds made their way to President Joe Biden.
Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the incoming chairman of the House Oversight Committee, told Just the News that fighting the Biden administration for access to some 150 Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) filed by banks concerning Hunter Biden's financial transactions would allow investigators to determine to what extent, if any, Joe Biden benefited from his son's foreign influence peddling.
"This isn't a fishing expedition," Comer told the John Solomon Reports podcast this week. "We have every reason to believe that Hunter Biden was paying for living expenses for Joe Biden, a significant amount of living expenses. And we want to verify that."
Comer said the pursuit is ripped from the Democrats' playbook.
"The Democrats have set a precedent on this," he explained. "They filed suit forcing former President Trump to have to turn over his tax records. So the Democrats have already set a precedent for bank records and tax records."

Joe’s taxes are unlikely to match the living expenses that were being paid out of the Hunter controlled account. The myth of Joe being the poorest senator is explained.

[Breitbart] Fox News and Fox Business have repeatedly failed to disclose in media coverage that Paul Ryan is a member of the Fox Corporation Board of Directors.
The failure to disclose Ryan’s board position is notable because it is a common media practice to disclose conflicts of interest.
Ryan, a board member since March 2019, serves as the chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee at the Fox Corporation. Ryan was selected as a board member after stepping down as 54th Speaker of the House in 2019. Critics of Ryan say he left Congress and joined the board after the Republican Party was successfully reformed from the antiquated establishment Bush/Cheney years into the Trump-era of American First against Ryan’s wishes and political aspirations.
Since Ryan’s career transitioned to the Fox Cooperation, his board position influence over Fox News and Fox Business has been pervasive. According to Fox Corporation, Ryan’s authority as chair of the Nominating Corporate Governance Committee includes establishing “broad corporate policies,” setting “strategic direction,” and overseeing “management identification and management of risks.”
His broad network influence has raised questions as to why Ryan’s prominent position is not disclosed to viewers during Fox News and Fox Business media coverage about Ryan’s political opinions.
In the last 45 days, Fox News has written three articles about Ryan’s political views without disclosing Ryan’s management role at its parent company. On October 15, Fox News published the title, “Paul Ryan predicts Trump will not be 2024 Republican nominee.” No disclosure was provided of Ryan’s position of power. In two articles on November 10 and November 16, Fox News again failed to disclose Ryan’s membership on the board.
In all three articles, former President Donald Trump was cast in a negative light, a consistent political position of Ryan’s personally held views incorporated within Fox News’ “We report, you decide” platform.
The conflict of interest also extends to Fox Business. When it comes to on-air mentions without disclosing Ryan’s conflict of interest, Fox Business host Stuart Varney has omitted Ryan’s network oversight at least four time in the last 30 days. While Varney has disclosed Ryan’s conflict a few times, he has failed to mention Ryan’s attacks on Trump without disclosing Ryan’s position on the Fox Corperation Board.
At least four times since the midterm election, Varney’s Fox Business show reported Paul’s negative comments about Trump’s political future without disclosing Ryan’s membership on the board:

In the minds of liberal (not leftist) America, Fox News is the entirety of the right.
In WaPo's coverage of the AP's reporting that almost touched off WWIII, there were several comments spitting at Fox, saying they wouldn't have run a correction.

Whenever I get the cable / satellite / streaming TeeVee sales pitch, I tell 'em "If you can give me Speed Channel / Velocity, Food Network and TCM, but nothing else I don't watch or want to pay for, I'll think about it. Otherwise, buzz off..."

The good folks at Fox have a right to put anybody they like on their Board of Directors. And I have a right not to watch them.

Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
