[EN.ALGHADEERTV.NET] Russia has denied targeting the Ukrainian capital, saying "foreign and Ukrainian" air defense missiles, instead, caused damage to Kyiv.
In a statement on Thursday, Russia’s Defense Ministry said, "Not a single strike was made on targets within the city of Kyiv."
Any damage was "the result of the fall of missiles from foreign and Ukrainian air defense systems located in residential areas of the Ukrainian capital," the statement said. The ministry, however, said "massive strikes" hit "the military command of Ukraine and energy facilities linked to it."
The denial came just a day after critical energy infrastructure was hit in Ukraine and at least three people bit the dust. Large parts of the war-hit country spent the night without power and water supplies.
Separately, Moscow blamed Kyiv for prolonging the war, which began on February 24, when Russia sent tens of thousands of troops into Ukraine.
"The leadership of Ukraine has every opportunity to bring the situation back to normal," said the Kremlin’s front man Dmitry Peskov. That would happen, he said, if Kyiv "fulfills the requirements of the Russian side."
He underscored that Ukraine could "end the suffering" of its population by meeting Russia’s demands to resolve the conflict. Peskov said, "There have been no strikes on ’social’ targets and there are none — special attention is paid to this."
"As for targets that are directly or indirectly related to military potential, they are accordingly subject to strikes."
Frequent missile strikes against power infrastructure across Ukraine over the past few weeks have caused massive power cuts.

⚡️Forbes estimates Russia has spent $82 billion on war with Ukraine since Feb. 24.
During nine months of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has spent $82 billion on war, which is a quarter of its annual budget, according to Forbes.
Vadym Khlupyanets, a ballet dancer of the Kyiv Operetta Theater, died in the battle for freedom and independence of Ukraine. He traded the stage for trenches so that millions of people would never lose their free lives to authoritarianism. Eternal glory! pic.twitter.com/29lleamnVG

Seems like the Russians are waiting for the services to be restored temporarily, then targets the temp and repaired sites.
About a 3 week interval from last time they took the Ukr power, water and heating services out. Let's see if there's another barrage shortly before, during, or shortly after the week of December 11th.

Badanov take the day off or what?
This poor Russian mother. I'm sure her son said exactly this as he perished, bet it makes Putin feel so good about all the dead he's caused for nothing:

His mother may have already been dead, the guy looked to be in his 50's maybe even 60's. Or it could have been all the alcohol or having your head being taped to a cement block that made him look that old.
