[JUDICIALWATCH.ORG] Judicial Watch announced today it has obtained records from the United States Air Force revealing the flight cost for President Obama's Labor Day 2014 weekend trips for fundraising, personal business, and politicking came to a total of $1,539,402.10 in taxpayer-paid transportation expenses. The documents regarding the transportation expenses came in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed on September 2, 2014.
According to the newly released records obtained by Judicial Watch:
Flights for Obama's 2014 Labor Day weekend fundraising trips to Westchester, New York, and Providence, Rhode Island, cost taxpayers $527,192.50
Transportation for Obama's round-trip flight from D.C. to Westchester, New York, to attend a wedding cost taxpayers $358,490.90
The flight for Obama's trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to speak at 'Laborfest 2014' cost taxpayers $653,718.70
Obama began his Labor Day weekend by taking off on yet another flurry of fundraisers in the Northeast. He began his money-raising venture by heading to Westchester, New York, on Friday, August 29.
While in New York, Obama attended two fundraisers for the Democratic National Committee, one of them a BBQ at the home of former UBS CEO Robert Wolf. Obama later that day took off for Providence, Rhode Island, for a fundraiser at the private residence of former Nortek CEO Richard Bready and Betty Easton, where tickets cost up to $32, 400. This event marked Obama's ninth fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee this year.
Obama was originally scheduled to fly back to Westchester, New York, Friday night, spend the night there, then return to D.C. after attending the high-profile wedding of the White House chef Sam Kass to MSNBC host and liberal commentator, Alex Wagner on Saturday.
However, he changed plans last minute and flew to D.C. for the night ' and then flew back to New York. White House's Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained that this change allowed Obama to 'sleep in his own bed, do a little work tomorrow, spend some time with his family, and then travel back to New York’. The difference between flying to Washington, D.C., instead of New York created an additional 1.4 hours spent in Air Force One, which adds up to $295,227.80 more in taxpayer dollars.
Obama wrapped up his Labor Day travel by flying to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Monday, where he made a campaign speech at Laborfest 2014.

There is a law making just about everything that could possibly be thunk of illegal, how about a law saying a president still in office can't be involved in political fundraising. Plenty of time for that after your out of office. Especially since we are having to pay for everything involved in the travel expenses and reap no reward.

[DEADLINE] President Barack Obama will finally be making public tomorrow night what his plan is to overhaul immigration. However, while his primetime speech will postpone part of the 15th annual Latin Grammys, it will not be covered by most of the Big 4 â if any of them.
The administration announced today that POTUS will be speaking live from the White House at 8 PM ET on Thursday. ABC has the fall finale for Greyâs Anatomy on at that time while CBS has ratings powerhouse The Big Bang Theory, NBC has reality show The Biggest Loser and Fox has Bones. As of right now, three of those networks will not see any changes in their November sweep schedules due to the speech.
While Obamaâs speech will be seen on their cable news siblings, Fox and NBC are not carrying it live on their broadcast networks tomorrow night. CNN, along with Fox News and MSNBC, will be showing the speech live. A CBS News division spokesperson says the network will also not be showing Obamaâs approximately 15-minute address on Thursday night. The broadcast networks were not asked for time by the administration, sources tell me. The time zone difference will see NBC, CBS as well as ABC adding coverage of Obamaâs immigration speech to the West Coast versions of their national nightly news shows.

There are no jobs for those people. You drive by a HOme Depot or other hardware outlet where illegals hang out hoping for a days work, and there are dozens who get no work.
When the Dems benefits run out the foreign Nationals here unconstitutionally will raise hell and the Dems will have to go after Americans 401Ks. Unless they are deported I see nothing but kaos and debt for the future of this country.

You guys are missing the point. The Prez is making a prime time speech touting an immigration 'reform' plan that would likely annoy quite a bit of America if they heard about it AND that seems to overstep his Constitutional role and authority.
Normally, a prime-time speech is news. A plan to offer criminals amnesty is news. A plan to usurp Congress's role in making laws is news. But the media is uninterested. Just like the recent Gruber-gate, the IRS scandal, Fast and Furious or any of a number of events that have fallen down the memory hole. Nothing to see here. Move along.
