...It looks like it might have been an accident - but the Poles aren't going to want to hear that. I hope us and the rest of NATO are doing everything possible to keep them settled down.

We now have a separate article posted here on the Poland missiles, to corral conversations in at least two threads. I added links there to the threads, so none of the discussion will be misplaced.

EC - I trace the roots of it back to the last six months of Obama's term, but it slowly picked up steam from there and became a thing just after Slow Joe got into office.

#3 yep. Prepping the battlefield for the emergence of Big Mike. She/it/them/WFT is that checks ALL the boxes, and we will be made to obey via a military that very much reflects The Mike. Something about fundamentally transforming the country - we just didn't pick up on the "trans" part of that statement until recently.

There have been comments like that about Michelle Obama since 2008. Do y’all really believe she is really male, or is that just trash talk? I don't see it myself, but I also don’t generally notice things like that — being muscular and strong is within the normal range of my personal experience of being a heteros3xual female.

TW, there's a bit more than a little "tongue in cheek" there. But then, I see a guy just won an elite bike race that's supposedly just to open to women. So the opposite can hold true - some women are just better at being men in today's simulation.

It’s endorsement and recognition of any “non-traditional” group as defined by them.
Simple formula - United we stand, Divided we fall.
UPDATE ON AFGHANISTAN/PAKISTAN BORDER CLASH AT SPIN BOLDAK-CHAMAN – The death toll from the cross-border conflict now stands at 3 Taliban dead and 8 Pakistani police and military killed. 1 Pakistani soldier was captured and 1 Taliban border guard is wounded. Adding to yesterday’s reporting, it has been confirmed that a second clash took place. The crossing has been closed indefinitely until the Pakistani demand of handing over the Taliban border guard who is thought to have initiated the violence is met. Both countries have reinforced security on their respective sides of the border and a local source observed heavy artillery being moved into supporting positions on the Pakistan side. Several aircraft have also been observed patrolling the Pakistan side of the border.
SHARIA LAW HAS COME – The Supreme Leader, Hibatullah Akhundzada, has empowered Taliban judges to enforce the tenets of Sharia Law in their future decisions. While specifics were not made available regarding punishments, Akhundzad apparently gave the green light to many of the more drastic punishments. A source in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said he fears the judges will adhere to the Hanbali legal approach to appease the Taliban's old guard. The Hanbali doctrine is considered the most restrictive school of thought and often applies the more barbaric punishments. It is also familiar to the Taliban and was used under their previous stint in power. Another source in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs opined that the move would make dialogue with even sympathetic regional partners much more difficult and could prompt a reduction in international aid. He went on to say the announcement had been timed to coincide with the opening of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation office in Kabul.
POWER INTERRUPTIONS FROM UZBEKISTAN – The Breshna Electricity Company has said that one of the power lines from Uzbekistan has been cut. The Company claimed it was due to a technical issue but a source in the Ministry of Finance said that villagers near the line reported an explosion and the power cut may be due to sabotage. With the weather turning colder, reliable power supplies will be critical for survival. The Taliban had implemented armed security patrols along the National grid after Resistance forces had destroyed several pylons earlier in the year but the men and vehicles were pulled for service in Panjshir, Takhar, and Badakhshan over a month ago.
CONFLICT TRACKER Nangahar: Heavy fighting between ALM and Taliban forces was reported in the early morning hours Monday. The fighting was centered in Khogyani district, and several dead have reportedly been dragged off the streets, An accurate tally of casualties was not available.
NEXT 24 HOURS
THE STANDOFF AT SPIN BOLDAK-CHAMAN – While we assess an escalation of hostilities as low, there is significant firepower parked on the Pakistani side of the border and it seems clear now that the Taliban may have initiated the crisis. In past cross-border incidents, the crossings remain closed for a few days and then opened back up. This case seems to be different and at-risk Afghans who may have planned to use the crossing for travel are urged to consider using the Torkham gate instead.
[ToloNews] The Spin Boldak port has been closed following a clash between the Islamic Emirate forces and the Pak military.
A clash was reported between the Islamic Emirate’s forces and Paks on Sunday afternoon.
The News Agency that Dare Not be Named reported that the shooting left a Pak border guard dead and two others maimed. But a source told TOLOnews that one Pak military was killed and one was maimed.
A security official in Kandahar said the problem started when Islamic Emirate soldiers asked Pak border guards to stop mistreating Afghan nationals, the AP’s report said.
"If it is the Mujahideens (Islamic Emirate’s forces) or the other government, (Pakistain) must provide a way for these people to easily commute," said Samiullah, a resident of Spin Boldak.
"It will be a very painful situation if this path is closed forever," said Karim, a passenger.
The residents of the two sides of the Durand Line called on the two sides to reopen the port.
"We do business. We go cross the port in the morning and return in the evening. The closure of this port creates a lot of problems for us," said Abdullah, a resident of Spin Boldak.
There are concerns that the closing of Spin Boldak port will affect economic and political relations between the two countries.
"We hope this path is not closed for trade," said Abdul Baqi Bana, deputy head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Islamic Emirate said that efforts are underway to reopen the port and that a delegation has been sent to Spin Boldak.
"The Islamic Emirate is trying to reopen this path so the problems of the passengers are solved. So, we sent a delegation to the area," said Noor Ahmad Saeed, head of the provincial department of Information and Culture.
The Spin Boldak- Chaman port located alongside the Durand Line in Kandahar, is the most important border point for trade between the two countries, after Torkham, which is located in the east of Afghanistan.

The Taliban ...Arabic for students... government front man Zabihullah Mujahid claims that the group has destroyed an ISIS hideout in the Afghan capital, Kabul following the reports of nighttime explosions in Kabul.
The ISIS cell was discovered and destroyed in the Panjsad Family neighborhood of Kabul; Zabihullah Mujahid tweeted on Sunday night, the 13th of November.
Mujahid claimed that five "Kharijites,"
...an insult dating back to the Third Rightly Guided Caliph that’s a fancy Muslim word for Splitters!!1! Other words for the same thing are Khawarij and taqfiri...
the term he used to refer to ISIS fighters, died as a result of the Taliban forces’ operation to attack and destroy the ISIS hideout.
The Taliban forces’ raid in Kabul, allegedly on the ISIS hideout, comes at a time when several explosions were heard on Saturday night. "It's another Saturday Night and I ain't got no body..."
These Death Eaters belonged to an "important network" that intended to engage in destructive operations, according to Mujahid’s statement.
6 members of the ISIS group in Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. , in eastern Afghanistan, were also killed during a special operation, according to a statement by the Taliban government’s Ministry of Defense on Sunday.
The Taliban stated that each of these operations resulted in the acquisition of some weapons and ammunition the Death Eaters intended to use for their operations.
This comes as the security of Afghanistan is said to be "extremely volatile", and countries advise their nationals to refrain from traveling to Afghanistan as they are concerned about the resurgence of terrorism in Afghanistan.
[RT] Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... supreme leader Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada has ordered Afghan judges to fully implement sharia law and its punishments, which include mutilations, flogging and executions of different sorts. The announcement was made on Sunday by the Taliban’s chief front man Zabihullah Mujahid.
"Carefully examine the files of thieves, kidnappers and seditionists. In those files in which all the Sharia conditions of Hudud and Qisas have been fulfilled, you are obliged to implement. This is the ruling of Sharia, and my command, which is obligatory," Mujahid quoted the elusive supreme leader, whose voice hasn't been recorded since the Taliban takeover last August, as having said.
In Islamic law, the so-called Hudud crimes require both very conclusive evidence for the accused to be convicted, while carrying heavy, traumatic punishments such as amputation of hands or feet, as well as flogging and execution. This group of crimes includes such offenses as theft, highway robbery, apostasy, adultery and falsely accusing someone of it, slander, drinking alcohol, and rebellion.
Qisas is effectively an Islamic variant of retributive, "eye for an eye" justice. The concept covers such crimes as deliberate injury or murder, while, at the same time allowing victims or their families to accept material compensation instead of punishment.
The Taliban has been gradually tightening its grip on power, while bringing life in Afghanistan into line with the strict Islamic norms the group follows. In April, the Taliban government lived up to its promises and banned the cultivation of poppy, the source of sap that is refined into morphine and heroin. Afghanistan is estimated to have accounted for 90% of the global opium trade in 2021, with poppy cultivation being its major source of income.

Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] The case of Islam Tambiev, accused of involvement in the work of an extremist association in Kislovodsk, has been submitted to court, investigators said.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in July 2021, the Sledkom
...what does Sledkom mean?
named Islam Tambiev among the seven detained residents of Dagestan, Karachay-Cherkessia and Stavropol, whom the investigation considered members of an extremist religious association banned in Russia.
According to investigators, a religious association operated in Kislovodsk, the purpose of which was to establish the world domination of a radical form of Islam and create a single Islamic state in Russia, and the detainees were part of this association.
The Main Investigation Department of the ICR for the North Caucasus Federal District has completed the investigation of the case of Islam Tambiev, accused under part 2 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an extremist organization), the press service of the Investigative Committee reported today.
According to investigators, Tambiev became a member of an international religious association banned in Russia,
...of which there are several, nowadays mostly franchises of ISIS or Al Qaeda. But we know there is an ISIS cell in Kislovodsk ...
which was organized by his acquaintance in Kislovodsk. The activity of the association was aimed at "establishing the global dominance of a radical form of Islam and the creation of a single Islamic state," according to a statement on the website of the TFR.
"He also took part in the meetings of the members of this association, which were held regularly from mid-2017 to March 21, 2021, where the activities of the association, the need to increase its followers, ideological literature and the works of preachers were discussed," the department said, specifying that the investigation took participation of the FSB and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Stavropol Territory.
The criminal case of Islam Tambiev with the approved indictment was sent to court for consideration on the merits, the publication notes. The name of the religious association is not given in it.
Part 2 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for two to six years in prison.
[Yahoo] Turkish police released a video of a female suspect being arrested on Monday (November 14) after a blast in Istanbul's main shopping street killed at least six people.
And the government blamed Kurdish militants for the explosion.
Istanbul police said on Monday it had arrested 47 people in relation to the attack, including Syrian woman Ahlam Albashir who is believed to have planted the bomb.
Police said that in initial questioning, the woman said she was trained by Kurdish militants in Syria and entered Turkey through northwest Syria's Afrin region.
Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said the Kurdistan Workers Party, also known as the PKK, and the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia were responsible for the attack on the historic and bustling Istiklal Avenue on Sunday.
Soylu said the order for the attack was given in Kobani, a city in northern Syria.
Turkish forces have carried out operations there against the YPG in recent years.
Six Turkish citizens, two members each of three families, were killed in the attack, and dozen wounded.
In a statement on its website on Monday, the PKK denied involvement in the attack, saying it did not target civilians.
Earlier television news reports showed images of a person, who appeared to be a woman, leaving a package below a raised flower bed in the middle of the busy street.
Turkish authorities linked support for the YPG by Washington and others to the blast.
Soylu likened the U.S. condolences to "the murderer arriving as one of the first at the scene of the crime."
"We reject the condolences of the American embassy, we do not accept it. Our alliance with a state that sends money from its own Senate to these groups, feeding the terror zones in Kobani which aims to disturb Turkey's peace, is in a controversial situation. This is open and clear."
The identity of the terrorist who planted the bomb in the attack on Istiklal Avenue was determined.
[KHAAMAPRESS] According to Ottoman Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, the order for the blast on Istiklal Avenue was issued in Kobani, a city in northern Syria where Ottoman Turkish forces have recently conducted operations against the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia.
Ottoman Turkish media reported that the attack on Istanbul’s Istiklal Avenue left at least six persons dead and 81 injured, citing Ottoman Turkish authorities.
Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important... said that the attack in Istanbul was a "vile attack," stating in a news conference that the attack "smelled like terrorism."
The historic Istiklal Avenue, a famous destination for shoppers and tourists with a tramline, was the scene of an explosive package being left by a person who appeared to be a woman, according to television news sources, according to Rooters.
The assertion by Ankara that Kurdish forces of Evil were responsible for the attack on Sunday comes amid a protracted conflict between Ottoman Turkish forces and the Kurdistan Workers Party known as PKK.
However, you can observe a lot just by watching... no group or organization has taken responsibility for the Istanbul blast, despite the fact that Kurdish and other leftist movements have targeted Istanbul in the past after a twin blast in 2016 left at least 155 people injured and 38 dead.

[Rudaw] Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) fired a barrage of missiles and Kamikaze drones on Monday targeting the bases of Iranian-Kurdish opposition groups inside the Kurdistan Region for the second time in two months as anti-government protests in Iran ...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence... see no sign of abetting across the country.
The IRGC has blamed Kurdish opposition groups of fomenting the unrest inside the country where the guards and other security forces have killed at least 339 protesters and bystanders including 52 children, according to Kurdish rights monitors.
The attack comes one day before the third anniversary of the nationwide antigovernment protests in November 2019 when 1,500 protesters were killed by the security forces following a surge in the price of petrol. The attack can be perceived as a warning to current protesters that the authorities will not end their crackdown even if the number of dead increases.
The missile and dronezaps targeting the bases of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI) and Komala came shortly after a commander of the IRGC said that 100 people affiliated with the two parties have been detained during the ninth week of protests that have rocked the country and galvanized international public opinion against Tehran.
The attack occurred just before 9 a.m. local time, targeting the main base of the KDPI outside Koya town in Erbil province and a number of Komala bases in Zargwez outside Sulaimani city, local officials told Rudaw. Two Peshmerga fighters from the KDPI identified as Aso (Hossein) Twana and Rebwar Abdi were killed.
Kurdish officials condemned the attack shortly after the strike during a conference in Erbil. The US and German diplomatic missions to Iraq also expressed their condemnations shortly after.
"We condemn renewed Iranian missile and drone attacks on KR, which violate Iraqi illusory sovereignty. Iraq should not be used as an arena to settle scores and its territorial integrity must be respected. Dialogue between Iraq and Iran over mutual security concerns is the only way forward," United Mission Mission for Iraq said in a tweet.
The IRGC ground forces commander Mohamamd Pakpour said that further attacks are underway unless the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and Iraqi federal government take appropriate steps to offset the situation.
Flights appear to have been affected at Erbil airport following the strike.
"We had warned the KRG and the central government of Iraq ... to either expel, disarm or house these groups ... in camps, but this did not happen," IRGC’s Pakpour said adding that they security forces have found the footsteps of these groups in the protest in the Kurdish areas.
Pakpour named several other locations such as Bakrajo, Topzawa, Zargwez, Gerdachal, Jezhnakal and Pakshahr that will be targeted in the future if the Kurdish and Iraqi authorities did not take appropriate action.
Did we know Al Nusra had a political/government arm? And one that its subjects felt comfortable protesting?
[NPASyria] Late on Monday, Syrian Salvation Government, a civil representation of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else ...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State... (HTS- formerly al-Nusra ...formally Jabhat an-Nusrah li-Ahli al-Sham (Support Front for the People of the Levant), also known as al-Qaeda in the Levant. They aim to establish a pan-Arab caliphate. Not the same one as the Islamic State, though .. ... Front), said it abolished all measures related to graduates from Syrian government universities in areas it control.
Days ago, students in Idlib University went on strike protesting admission of graduates of Syrian government into operating associations in Idlib.
The Salvation Government said in a statement that all measures relevant to graduates of "Regime universities" of equivalence and profession licenses issued after December 12, 2016, are no longer effective.
The statement noted all issued decisions will be reconsidered. The decision came in the aftermath of a meeting held between Salvation presidency with Idlib Students Union.
Today morning, students protested in front of the Presidency Office of the Idlib University against allowing a batch of graduates of Syrian universities into Idlib University and associations of the Salvation Government.
[NPASyria] Ottoman Turkish intelligence and the military police of the Ottoman Turkish-backed armed opposition, factions also known as Syrian National Army (SNA), arrested on Monday 17 SNA turbans in the countryside of Afrin, north of Aleppo.
The arrest came after the SNA bully boys, including leaders, were accused of smuggling the perpetrator of Istanbul explosion that took place on Sunday. Six were killed and around 80 others were maimed in the blast.
Military sources told North Press that the Ottoman Turkish intelligence, in coordination with Ottoman Turkish-backed SNA military police, raided multiple houses in the town of Rajo, al-Sham Legion headquarters and two headquarters of Hamza Division in Bulbul district in the countryside of Afrin.
On November 13, six were killed and around 80 were maimed in a blast in the city of Istanbul.
Immediately after the earth-shattering kaboom, Ottoman Turkish authorities accused the military forces in northeast Syria of being involved in the earth-shattering kaboom.
Ottoman Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced arresting a woman called Ahlam al-Bashir accused of executing the attack.
Sources added that 17 persons, including two leaders of the armed factions, were accused of smuggling Ahlam al-Bashir.
Earlier today, the Department of Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), denied any form of presence of the so-called Ahlam al-Bashir, in the AANES-held areas, stressing on rejecting any Ottoman Turkish accusations.
All the arrested personnel were taken to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... to be interrogated, according to the same sources.
The sources mentioned that the Ottoman Turkish intelligence will continue conducting similar operations and arresting all those who were involved in the smuggling operation between the Syrian and Ottoman Turkish territories.
It was revealed that many of leaderships of Hamza Division, al-Sham Legion, Levant Front, Sultan Suleiman Shah Division (Amshat), Samarkand Brigade, and many others were involved in the smuggling operation.
On its part, the People Protection Units (YPG), affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), accused Monday the Ottoman Turkish government of being behind the earth-shattering kaboom in Istanbul, indicating that Turkey is trying to make up pretexts to mount a new cross-border military operation in northern Syria.
The YPG said that Turkey’s narrative, which suggests that the perpetrator behind the earth-shattering kaboom entered Turkey through areas controlled by Turkey in Syria, is "a fictional and unrealistic scenario to prove their false claim."
The Ottoman Turkish president and the Ottoman Turkish government claim that the military forces that control northeastern Syria are an extension of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which has launched an insurgency against the Ottoman Turkish government for four decades. Turkey has launched three cross-border military incursions into Syria under the pretext of protecting its national security.
The incident in Istanbul raises doubts among many observers regarding its timing, which came at critical times the country is going through, especially the heavy criticism against the current Ottoman Turkish government regarding the deteriorating economic crisis.

[HODHODYEMENNEWS] The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has once again targeted the positions of terrorist groups operating near the country’s western borders in Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region.
The IRGC’s Ground Force pounded the positions of terror groups with multiple rocket launchers, precision-strike weapons and drones, according to a report published by Tasnim news agency.
The report comes as the commander of the IRGC’s Hamzeh Seyed al-Shohada Base said security forces have arrested more than 100 elements of groups of separatists and terrorists, including the so-called Komala Party and the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI), who had a role in the recent riots in Iran.
Brigadier General Mohammad Taqi Osanlou said that Iran’s northwestern borders are generally secure but the enemy has managed in a few cases to sneak weapons through the frontiers to stoke riots in Iran. Such attempts have, however, been met with fierce reactions from the Iranian security forces.
