The investigation is being conducted by federal prosecutors in Manhattan, the sources said. The exact nature of the investigation was not immediately clear.

[FoxNews] Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin are sharing with the U.S. attorney leading the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden more than 200 pages of bank records related to his and the Biden family’s alleged "connections to the Chinese regime and persons connected to its military and intelligence elements".
Fox News Digital independently reviewed the bank records Grassley and Johnson obtained throughout the course of their investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings. The more than 200 pages of records come from Cathay Bank, the oldest operating bank in the U.S. founded by Chinese Americans.
Grassley and Johnson obtained the records from a U.S. bank in the course of their investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings. The records reveal transactions between Hunter Biden-linked business entities and Chinese energy firm CEFC, which reportedly had ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
Some of those transactions were previously revealed in Grassley and Johnson’s 2020 reports, which they say showed that the Biden family’s "extensive links to foreign governments and questionable foreign nationals posed counterintelligence and extortion concerns."
Grassley and Johnson have been sounding the alarm on these business transactions with Chinese-linked associates CEFC Chairman Ye Jiangming and Gongwen Dong, which "resulted in millions of dollars in questionable transactions."
In a letter Grassley and Johnson wrote to U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss, exclusively obtained by Fox News, the GOP senators notified him of the hundreds of pages of records, and slammed him and the Justice Department for ignoring their attempts to ensure that the criminal probe into Hunter Biden is "thorough and free from political interference." Weiss is leading the probe into Hunter Biden.
"Today, in light of your and DOJ’s failure to respond to our legitimate congressional oversight requests and as part of our ongoing congressional investigation, we are transmitting to you over two hundred pages of records relating to the Biden family’s connections to the Chinese regime and persons connected to its military and intelligence elements," they wrote.
Grassley and Johnson provided records that they said include more than 100 pages of "unredacted and previously unreleased bank records relating to one of Hunter Biden’s businesses, Hudson West III."
"If you are conducting a full and complete investigation, you should already possess these records," they wrote. "In the case that you are not and do not possess these records, we suggest that you review them in detail."
Grassley and Johnson's letter and production of bank records to Weiss, an appointee of former President Donald Trump, comes as federal investigators are weighing whether to charge Hunter Biden with various tax and foreign lobbying violations, false statements and more.

SEATTLE (AP) — A Washington state judge on Wednesday fined Facebook parent company Meta nearly $25 million for repeatedly and intentionally violating campaign finance disclosure law, in what is believed to be the largest campaign finance penalty in US. history.
The penalty issued by King County Superior Court Judge Douglass North was the maximum allowed for more than 800 violations of Washington’s Fair Campaign Practices Act, passed by voters in 1972 and later strengthened by the Legislature. Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson argued that the maximum was appropriate considering his office previously sued Facebook in 2018 for violating the same law.
Meta, based in Menlo Park, California, did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment.
Washington’s transparency law requires ad sellers such as Meta to keep and make public the names and addresses of those who buy political ads, the target of such ads, how the ads were paid for and the total number of views of each ad. Ad sellers must provide the information to anyone who asks for it. Television stations and newspapers have complied with the law for decades..

[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] Pennsylvania Democrat officials sent out 240,000 255,000 ballots to people they could not verify either by their Social Security or Driver’s License numbers.
The ballots should NEVER have been sent out to these voters.
Fifteen Republican State Representatives sent a letter to Acting Secretary of the Commonwealth Leigh Chapman after they discovered that over 240,000 illicit ballots were sent out in the state prior to the 2022 midterm elections.
Deputy Secretary Jonathan Marks testified in September before the Pennsylvania House that counties are responsible to verify the voter ID when a completed ballot arrives to the county. The counties argued that this was nonsense. The ID must be verified before a ballot is even sent out.
According to Pennsylvania law, these ballots must now be set aside. They can’t be counted in the November 8th election until the voter produces an identification.
You can bet that very few of these counties will set these ballots aside. This is how Democrats cheat.
These ballots must be set aside before election day.

They certainly will cheat, but their ability to cheat has an upper control limit. If you achieve near 100% turnout on an off year election, you exceed their ability to cheat. That is what cancelled the HRC fireworks in 2016. They increased their capacity for 2020, but there still is a limit. Even legitimate Dem votes prevent them from assigning fake ballots to people that didn’t vote when they start the 3AM games.

[The Hill] The agency conducting oversight of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan has notified lawmakers that it is again facing obstruction into its watchdog efforts, writing that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has "ceased all cooperation" with its investigation.
The Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) in June notified lawmakers across numerous congressional committees that it was facing roadblocks from various agencies as it reviews the chaotic August 2021 military withdrawal from the country.
But an Oct. 11 email obtained by The Hill indicated that USAID and the State Department had both "largely declined" to respond to requests for information following the inspector general’s June notice, a sign of continued resistance to SIGAR’s oversight efforts.
"Unfortunately, since June 22, the level of cooperation and assistance SIGAR has received from State and USAID has only decreased across SIGAR’s entire portfolio," Robert Lawrence, the watchdog’s director of congressional affairs, wrote to lawmakers.
"State continues to cooperate — in a small number of areas — on a very limited basis; USAID has ceased all cooperation."
SIGAR has a sprawling mission for an inspector general office, conducting oversight of numerous agencies that had a hand in the Afghan war, a role created well before the withdrawal. But in recent months, the agency has complained prior cooperation has vanished as agencies now raise "jurisdictional concerns."
Those objections are triggering further congressional action, including a request from House Oversight Committee Republicans for a briefing on "any obstacles put in place by the Biden Administration."
"On two separate occasions you have informed the committee that the Biden Administration is obstructing your work by failing to produce required information. This is unacceptable," ranking member James Comer (R-Ky.) and Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-Wis.) wrote in a letter to SIGAR Inspector General John Sopko.

Hillary lost because they were so full of themselves they didn't believe they needed to cheat. They learned not to do that again, till they trigger the civil war.
I think 2016 is when they went from Tip to Shove, though it is hard to tell because Hillary! is so unlikable. They did absolutely hose Sanders for the nomination.
I have serious doubts about 2018. Mid-terms are not as parsed and nobody was really looking for something 2020 scale. Cost The House, and didn't get so much as an "Oh, bother".
