Egypt’s Sissi heads for Turkey in first presidential visit in 12 years, with Gaza also on agenda
”Lookit how clever we are — we got those uppity juices surrounded! Soon they’ll be forced to surrender to our Master Religion awesomeness!”
[IsraelTimes] Trip comes as countries plan some 20 agreements on gas, defense, tourism; leaders to also discuss Israel-Hamas war, Israeli operations in the West Bank

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi will hold talks with President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
on Wednesday in the first presidential-level visit in 12 years amid a warming of long-frozen relations between the regional powers.

The visit comes after Erdogan traveled to Cairo in February, his first trip to Egypt since 2012, taking a major step toward rebuilding ties that were severely strained for a decade.

"Turkey-Egypt relations will be reviewed in all their aspects and possible joint steps in the coming period to further develop cooperation will be discussed," the Ottoman Turkish presidency’s communications office said in a statement on Tuesday.

"In addition to bilateral relations, there will be an exchange of views on current regional and global issues, especially the Israeli attacks on Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. and the occupied Paleostinian territories," it added.

Turkey, which has expressed support for Hamas, has sent thousands of tons of aid to Egypt for Paleostinians and praised Cairo’s humanitarian efforts and role as negotiator in ongoing hostage-ceasefire talks.

Sissi was set to arrive in Ankara on Wednesday afternoon, with a presser scheduled for later in the day.

Relations between Ankara and Cairo collapsed in 2013 after Egypt’s then-army chief Sissi led the ouster of the Brotherhood’s Mohammed Morsi, an ally of Turkey who had become Egypt’s first democratically elected president the year before.

Morsi visited Turkey as president in 2012.

Ties between the two countries began improving in 2020 when Ankara launched a diplomatic charm offensive to ease tensions with its estranged regional rivals, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia

Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual haj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Formerly dictatorial and steeped in Olde Tyme Religion, deferring to Salafist holy men on all issues, it has now done a 180 and is making a serious effort to modernize, so as not to be left in the sand by its Gulf Arab neighbors. and Egypt.

Turkey and Egypt mutually reappointed ambassadors last year, and Ankara has said it would provide Cairo with armed drones. Erdogan said in Cairo that the countries wanted to boost trade to $15 billion in the short term from $10 billion.

Turkey’s state-owned Anadolu news agency said the two countries would sign some 20 agreements to boost commercial ties and cooperate on energy, defense, tourism, health, culture and education. It said deepening cooperation on renewable energy and liquefied natural gas (LNG) was also planned.

Ugandan Police Deny Shooting Opposition Leader, @HEBobiwine Despite Video Evidence, Claim He Stumbled
[X]

Ugandan activist and politician, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine, has said that the Ugandan Police authorities denied shooting him in the leg.

Wine, who was shot on Tuesday in the leg by the police in Bulindo, Kira Municipality, said in a post on his X account on Wednesday morning that the police statement claimed that he stumbled as he was getting into his vehicle and got injured.

Posting the video footage of the police shooting, the handlers of Wine’s X account wrote, "Sadly but not surprising, the Police Statement claimed that our leader Bobi Wine stumbled as he was getting into his vehicle and got injured!

"They often forget that today, everyone is a journalist. We're grateful to the vigilant citizens who captured this footage and shared it.

"Thank you for listening to our consistent message - many times, our cameras are our biggest weapons."

Britain
Bus Service To Help Jewish Londoners Feel Safe
[MSN-BBC] The mayor of London has launched a trial bus route in north London to help Jewish Londoners feel "safe when they travel".
Feel safe, sure. Actually being safe is a different question.
The 310 bus runs every 20 minutes between Stamford Hill in Hackney and Golders Green in Barnet.

It was launched in response to longstanding requests from the Jewish community for a service connecting the neighbourhoods, the mayor's office said.

Sadiq Khan said that creating the route, which operates from 07:00 to 19:00 daily, was one of his re-election pledges.

'MASSIVE INCREASE OF ANTISEMITISM'
Mr Khan told BBC London: "For 16 years now the Jewish communities in Stamford Hill and Golders Green have been lobbying for a direct link between those two communities.

"I was struck by the conversations I've had in recent months with the Jewish community.

"They were frightened because of a massive increase of antisemitism since October 7 last year.

"I was told stories by families who, where they changed buses from Stamford Hill to Golders Green at Finsbury Park, they were frightened about the abuse they had received."

The Met Police recorded 2,065 antisemitic hate crime incidents between October and July.

Of the 2,065 reports, 390 took place in Barnet, 277 in Westminster, 250 in Hackney and 190 in Camden.

Mr Khan said the new bus route "connects communities, connects congregations" and would reassure Jewish Londoners they would be "safe when they travel between these two communities".

"We have heard stories of Jewish Londoners receiving verbal abuse," Mr Khan added.

"We've also heard stories about Jewish Londoners not leaving their homes... because they're worried about their safety.

"I don't want any Londoner to be scared to leave their home because they're worried about public transport.

"I think we've got to recognise the fear that Londoners feel who are Jewish, we've got to recognise the tremors of hate that are felt by Jewish people across the country.

"We've got to be good allies to our Jewish friends and neighbours."

Antisemitic hate crimes rose by 278.9% in the 12 months to July compared with the preceding year, according to Met Police data.

Islamophobic hate crimes rose by 64.7% in the 12 months ending July 2024, compared to the year before. The force recorded 1,370 Islamophobic hate crime incidents between October and July.

Afghan Migrants Concerned By 2nd Round of Deportations from Pakistan
[ToloNews] Some Afghan migrants colonists in Pakistain have told TOLOnews that the possible start of a second round of deportations of Afghan migrants colonists from the country has caused them great concern.
When was the first round? We haven’t been paying much attention to that part of the world recently, as other places demanded more attention.
They have added that they have been living in Pakistain for many years and cannot suddenly abandon their businesses and return to Afghanistan.
This has been going on for years. Just because this lot has avoided being sent back for the past decade does not mean they’re entitled to permanent lodging when they came on the promise of urgent but temporary need.
The Afghan migrants colonists in Pakistain urged the government of Pakistain and international migration organizations to seriously address their challenges.

"Some Afghans living here in Pakistain have been residing here for the past forty years and continue their lives. They are not physically or mentally prepared to return to Afghanistan so soon," said Ehsan Ahmadzai, an Afghan migrant in Pakistain.

"There are migrants colonists who were born in Pakistain. If they are sent to Afghanistan, they will become refugees once again. In Afghanistan, they will face problems such as a lack of shelter and access to education," said Allah Mir, another Afghan migrant in Pakistain.

Meanwhile,
...back at the alley, Slats grabbed for his rosco...
the US Embassy in Islamabad said in a statement that the US Ambassador, during a meeting with Pakistain's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, discussed various issues, including support for Afghan migrants colonists in Pakistain.

At the same time, some Pak media outlets have reported that the process of forcibly deporting Afghan migrants colonists who are residing in Pakistain without legal documents will also begin.

"International organizations should provide a platform for diplomatic dialogue with Pakistain to ensure the support of migrants colonists, solve their problems, and prevent the forced deportation of this group of migrants colonists," Asifa Stanakzai, an activist in the field of migrants colonists' rights, told TOLOnews.

Earlier, Pakistain's Interior Minister, in a meeting with the United Nations
...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense...
Humanitarian Coordinator for Afghanistan, had stated that the second phase of the deportation of Afghan migrants colonists from Pakistain would begin soon.

Report: Families of hostages with American citizenship pushing Biden to make unilateral deal with Hamas UPDATE: NBC report lied
They can ask. I can’t imagine they’ll get the answer they want, though, no matter what they might be told.
[IsraelTimes] The families of Americans kidnapped by Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
and held in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. since October 7 are petitioning the Biden administration to cut a unilateral deal wth the Paleostinian terror group to free their loved ones, NBC News reports.

The report says that the relatives met with US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan on Sunday, hours after the IDF recovered the bodies of six hostages executed by Hamas in Gaza last week, including American-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin.

It is believed that 97 of the 251 hostages kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 remain in Gaza, including seven American citizens. This count includes the bodies of at least 33 confirmed dead by the IDF, three of whom are American.

Update from the Times of Israel at 8:20 a.m. ET:
Father of US-Israeli hostage denies American families pushing Biden to make separate deal

Jonathan Dekel-Chen responds after NBC quotes sources saying US has list of prisoners that might be offered in an exchange but regards comprehensive deal as best way forward

The father of a US-Israeli held hostage in Gazoo said Thursday there is no truth to a report that the families of captives with American citizenship are petitioning the Biden administration to cut a unilateral deal with Hamas
..always the voice of sweet reason...
to free their loved ones.

Jonathan Dekel-Chen, whose son Sagui Dekel-Chen was kidnapped from Nir Oz on October 7, told Channel 12 that the report, carried by NBC News on Wednesday, is false.

"I am in continuous contact with the other American families and all levels of the US government," he said. "The report that the American families are demanding a separate US-Hamas is not correct.

"I am in the room [for the meetings administration officials hold with the families of the hostages], and anything else is speculation," he said.

Dekel-Chen added that US officials are telling him they are doing everything they can to advance the deal that is "on the table" and that they are waiting for the agreement of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his coalition partners, as well as Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

There are seven hostages with dual US-Israeli citizenship; four of them have been declared dead.

The NBC News report said the relatives pushed for Washington to look at other ways of securing freedom for their loved ones. It said officials told the families they would look at "every option" but that a deal between Israel and Hamas was still the best way to proceed, the report said, citing people familiar with the meeting.

Those sources told the outlet that the idea of a unilateral deal had been floated as family members and some administration officials were becoming convinced that Netanyahu will not reach an agreement with Hamas. Critics accuse Netanyahu of shying away from a deal to satisfy far-right members of his coalition, who want the war to continue until Hamas is destroyed.

Ninety-seven of the 251 hostages kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 remain in Gaza, including seven US citizens. This total includes the bodies of at least 33 confirmed dead by the IDF, three of whom are American.

In an indication that a unilateral deal is being mulled, the Biden administration has drawn up a list of prisoners held in the US that Hamas might trade in exchange for American hostages, two former and two current US officials aware of the plans told NBC. According to one official, there are five names on the list.

Current and former officials said the possible prisoners the US has to offer include the leaders of a Texas-based charity, Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. The five heads of the charity were in 2008 convicted of sending over $12 million to Hamas. They are serving between 20 and 65 years in prison.

However,
by candlelight every wench is handsome...
one administration official told the network that the idea of cutting a separate deal with Hamas is not realistic as the US does not have enough to bargain with for the American hostages.

"Hamas wants two things that only Israel can deliver: a ceasefire and nearly 1,000 Paleostinian prisoners currently in Israeli jails," the unnamed official said. "Every other proposal has gone nowhere because that is what Hamas demands for the hostages," the official added.

NBC News said that neither the Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
i government, which has been mediating between Israel and Hamas, nor a representative of the families of US hostages would comment on the report.

On Tuesday, State Department spokesperson Matt Miller was asked during a press briefing if Washington was considering a unilateral deal with Hamas.

"Our entire focus has been on securing an agreement to get home all the hostages. That, of course, includes the American hostages," he said. "Our first priority is always the safety and security of American citizens overseas. We are focused on a deal that would bring them home, along with all the other American hostages.

Asked whether that could also mean a unilateral deal, Miller said only, "We are working on a deal to get all of them home."

In June, NBC News had a similar report of discussions for a unilateral deal, but the proposal did not advance at the time, with some senior administration officials strongly against it, the network said. US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. The man who made Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter look competent, if only by comparison....
also sought at the time to continue the track of obtaining a deal between Israel and Hamas to end the war.

At the time, Washington asked Qatari officials to put out feelers to Hamas, US officials told NBC News. However,
by candlelight every wench is handsome...
the move did not get off the ground, they said.

#1  By taking hostages Hamas gained enormous and dangerous leverage, which incentivizes the taking of hostages.

The Houthis e.g. sure will be tempted to seize big cruise ships and force them to sail for Houthi controlled ports, recreating the plane hijackings of the 70s and 80s at a higher order of magnitude.

Amnesty urges war crimes probe over Israeli levelling of Gaza infrastructure for buffer zone

to expand a so-called buffer zone between it and the Paleostinian territory.
It’s been a while since we heard anything about that — glad to know it is still a serious thing.
"Using bulldozers and manually laid explosives, the Israeli military has unlawfully destroyed agricultural land and civilian buildings, razing entire neighbourhoods, including homes, schools and mosques," it says.

The London-based rights group says the levelling since the start of the war on October 7 "should be investigated as war crimes of wanton destruction and of collective punishment."
”How dare those uppity Jews do anything to protect themselves from massacres by their rampaging neighbours!”
Israel says it is creating the buffer zone to better protect Israeli communities on the other side of the fence after they were ravaged by thousands of murderous Moslems who broke through the border during the October 7 attacks.

Report lays out Hamas’s fear campaign to silence mentions of its fatalities in Gaza
[IsraelTimes] A report delves into the Hamas
..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
terror group’s strategy of avoiding publishing the names of its members killed in the war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
, and into its intimidation campaign aimed at barring Gazooks from any mention of such fatalities.

Despite no formal ban, there is an unwritten rule deterring Gazooks — even family members of slain Hamas fighters — from publicly mourning their loved ones in a way that identified them with the terror group’s military wing, the Haaretz daily reports, citing unnamed residents of the Strip.

"There is fear to talk publicly about Hamas operatives, including operatives who have been killed," one is quoted as saying, citing reasons such as fear of being branded a "traitor" or a "collaborator," and fear of being harassed by Hamas.

"The prevailing assumption on the streets is that if the names of slain button men are published, people around the world will identify less strongly with the Gazooks’ suffering, and this will give legitimacy to bombing Gaza," another resident is quoted as saying. "As long as there are clips and stories about the civilian population, nobody says a thing. But if anyone dares to criticize Hamas or to mention the name of a slain fighter, they will call them a traitor and treat them as such."

This is in contrast to Hamas’s strategy in the West Bank, where it proudly publishes the names of its members killed by the IDF, and to that of Hezbollah in Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
, which maintains a detailed list of that terror group’s fatalities in the near-daily cross-border skirmishes since October 8.

"This is a war of survival also for Hamas’s image around the world," a third local is quoted as saying. "When armed operatives aren’t mentioned, when their deaths aren’t mentioned, they don’t exist in the discourse."

The latter adds that another factor is fear that Israeli forces will focus on and harass family members of slain Hamas members.

A fourth resident tells Haaretz that the fog is often so dense that even relatives often don’t know that their loved ones have joined Hamas, or that they have been killed, and that information about these issues is passed quietly as rumors from one to another.

Hamas’s latest claims of responsibility indicate resumption of suicide attacks
Trying for Intifada III.
[IsraelTimes] For the first time in nearly two decades, Hamas
..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
has started using the term "suicide kabooms" with regard to its latest terror bombings.

In its latest claim of responsibility following a dual boom-mobileing in the Gush Etzion area on Friday, Hamas praised the two perpetrators, Hebron residents Muhammad Ihsan Marqa and Zuhdi Abu Afifa, and announced "the first martyrdom operations in the Hebron governorate," employing the term commonly used in Arabic for suicide attacks.

In its statement, the terror group vowed to deliver further "painful surprises" throughout the West Bank.

The twin boom-mobileing came two days after top Hamas official Khaled Mashaal called for a resumption of suicide kabooms in the West Bank, as the terror group comes under heavy military pressure in Gazoo

It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...

had claimed an intended suicide kaboom in Tel Aviv. The attacker died when his backpack went kaboom!, and a passerby was injured. The joint statement by the two terror groups referred to the operation as a suicide kaboom.

Hamas championed this type of attacks for years, and conducted them throughout the 1990s and through the end of the Second Intifada in the early 2000s, but they have been rare in the years since.

According to government sources, the latest suicide kaboom claimed by Hamas inside Israel was in a shopping center in the southern city of Dimona in February 2008, in which a woman was killed and 38 were maimed.

Another suicide attack was carried out by a member of Hamas’s military wing on a bus in Jerusalem in April 2016, in which 21 were maimed. The group did not officially claim the operation at the time.

Experts indicate that multiple attempts to carry out suicide kabooms were foiled in recent years.

Jerusalem court orders seizure of NIS 160 million in frozen PA funds in terror victim compensation case
Lawfare.
[IsraelTimes] The Jerusalem District Court issues a temporary seizure order for NIS 160 million ($43 million) against Paleostinian Authority funds frozen by the government, in response to a lawsuit by the families of Paleostinian terror victims demanding compensation from the Paleostinian governing body for supporting and encouraging such violence.

A new law passed in March this year allows victims of Paleostinian terrorism and their families to sue the Paleostinian Authority for compensation, since the body pays monthly stipends to Paleostinians Lions of Islam and their family members.

Under a law from 2018, the Israeli government deducts the sum of money distributed by the Paleostinian Authority in terrorist stipends from the tax funds Israel collects and transfers to the PA.

Some NIS 2 billion has been accumulated in frozen funds from the PA’s terrorist stipend program.

The original compensation suit, filed by the Arbus, Kedem, Tzur law firm, was submitted on behalf of 78 victims of Paleostinian terrorism and the NIS 160 million addresses their claims.

But some 200 more victims and the family members have since joined the suit, meaning that a further seizure order covering their claims could be issued by the court in the coming days.

Among those party to the lawsuit are family members of victims of the October 7 massacres committed by Hamas
..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,...
and other terror groups.

Attorney Barak Kedem says it will take several more months before the case comes before the court in a hearing.

"The court’s decision to seize huge sums of money from the Paleostinian Authority is an important first step on the way to the transfer of terrorist financing funds for the benefit of the victims of terrorism and an important contribution to the fight against terrorism," say Kedem and Arye Arbus in response to the decision.

The Paleostinian Authority filed a petition to the High Court of Justice in July against the legislation allowing Israeli citizens to sue it for compensation, but the attorney general rejected its standing to file such a petition, while the justices of the court expressed skepticism as to the validity of the petition during a hearing in August.

Report doubts accuracy of Iran’s advanced Emad missile, used to attack Israel in April
[IsraelTimes] Analysts say missiles that targeted Nevatim base had a much larger ‘error circle’ than Tehran has claimed

As Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...

President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed Haniyeh from office on 14 June 2007 at the height of the Fatah-Hamas festivities, but Haniyeh did not acknowledge the decree and continues as the PM of Gazoo while Abbas maintains a separate PM in the West Bank...
in Tehran, the accuracy of the Islamic Theocratic Republic’s long-vaunted missile program has been called into question.

A new report by experts shared exclusively with The News Agency that Dare Not be Named suggests one of the advanced missiles Tehran would use in any future attack against Israel is far less accurate than previously thought.

The finding comes months after a US-led coalition shot down many drones and missiles launched by Iran in an April attack on Israel. Other projectiles apparently failed at launch or crashed while in flight.

Here are some takeaways about Iran’s ballistic missile threat:

IRANIAN MISSILES HAD POOR ACCURACY
Analysts at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies examined the Iranian strike on the Nevatim Air Base some 65 kilometers (40 miles) south of Jerusalem in the Negev Desert. They believe Iran used its Emad missile, a variant of the country’s Shahab-3 missile built from a North Korea
...hereditary Communist monarchy distinguished by its truculence and periodic acts of violence. Distinguishing features include Songun (Army First) policy, which involves feeding the army before anyone but the Dear Leadership, and Juche, which is Kim Jong Il's personal interpretation of Marxism-Leninism, which he told everybody was brilliant. In 1950 the industrialized North invaded agrarian South Korea. Twenty-one countries of the United Nations eventually contributed to the UN force opposing the invasion, with the United States providing around 90% of the military personnel. Seventy years later the economic results are in and it doesn't look good for Juche...
n design.

Assuming Iran targeted Israeli F-35I fighter jet hangars, the James Martin analysts measured the distance between the hangars and the impact zones of the missiles. That gave an average of about 1.2 kilometers (0.75 miles) for the "circular error probable" — a measurement used by experts to determine a weapon’s accuracy based on the radius of a circle that encompasses 50 percent of where the missiles landed.

That’s far worse than a 500-meter (1,640-foot) error circle first estimated by experts for the Emad. Iran separately advertised the Emad to potential international buyers as having a 50-meter (164-foot) circle.

MANY PROJECTILES WERE SHOT DOWN IN ATTACK
The US, the United Kingdom, La Belle France and Jordan all shot down incoming fire. The Americans claimed to have downed 80 bomb-carrying drones and at least six ballistic missiles. Israeli missile defenses were also activated, though their initial claim of intercepting 99% of the projectiles appeared to be an exaggeration.

US officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence matters, told the AP they assessed that 50% of the Iranian missiles failed at launch or crashed before reaching their target. That raises further doubts about the abilities of Iran’s missile arsenal.

Iran launched April’s unprecedented massive direct attack on Israel after its consular building in Damascus was struck, killing several senior officers in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp, including two generals.

No one was killed in the attack, but one girl was injured from shrapnel in the south and later recovered.

QUESTIONS ABOUT ANY FUTURE STRIKE BY IRAN
Iran shares no border with Israel, and the two countries are some 1,000 kilometers (620 miles) apart at the shortest distance. That makes Iran’s missile program vital in any direct military attack. The longer the distances, the greater any slight errors in the missile’s guidance system become, along with the effects of wind and other weather.

However,
there's more than one way to skin a cat...
Iran’s poor performance in April and years-long sabotage campaigns targeting its ballistic missile program raise questions about whether it would be able to accurately strike targets at that distance.

Iran could also enlist help from allied terrorist organizations such as Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel.
’s Hezbollah and Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
’s Iran's Houthi sock puppets
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him...
rebels to try and overwhelm Israel’s defenses. Israel and Hezbollah exchanged heavy fire on August 25.

Meanwhile,
...back at the cheese factory, there was only one thought in the mouse's mind: I can do this! I can do this! Then the trap sprung...
Iran continues to make threats about its ability to potentially build a nuclear weapon. Pressure over its inability to deter Israel could see it weaponize a program it has long insisted is peaceful.

Is the big CEP due to all the missiles that would have landed inside were shot down by the air defenses? Iron Dome, for example, is smart enough to ignore missiles that are not going to impact something important.
