[ToloNews] Interior Ministry says in a statement that at least 12 security incidents were prevented on the first day of Eid.
Afghans around the country spent the first day of Eid al-Adha ...a major Moslem holiday, marked by animal sacrifice and ritual rioting... in peace as the Ministry of Interior says twelve security incidents were prevented on Sunday.
Residents of different provinces called on the Taliban ...Arabic for students... to quit violence and celebrate Eid together with other Afghans in a peaceful environment.
Imams during Eid sermons encouraged the people for peace, security, tolerance, and participation in the upcoming presidential election.
"Bloodshed should stop, and peace should be established in Afghanistan," said Khan Mohammad, a Wardak resident.
A group of Balkh residents at a rally in Mazar-e-Sharif city on the first day of Eid called on the Afghan government to accelerate the grinding of the peace processor.
[Breitbart] Police in Norway’s capital say the shooting at a mosque that maimed one person is being investigated as an attempted terrorist attack and that the alleged perpetrator is also a murder suspect in a separate case.
One suspect is in jug after the shooting Saturday at the al-Noor Islamic Center in the Oslo suburb of Baerum. Police say they believe no one else was involved.
Oslo police official Rune Skjold told a news conference Sunday that the suspect, a man in his 20s, has been found to hold extreme right-wing views and animosity toward immigrants colonists.
After the shooting, police went to his residence and said they found his 17-year-old sister dead. Police said the man is a suspect in that death.
Was this possibly intended to be a convoluted murder-suicide (by cop) that failed? The Local adds that the sister is a stepsister, the Oslo suburb of Baerum is affluent, has details about our miscreant’s online posts, and:
According to official estimates about 200,000 Muslims lived in Norway in 2016, representing nearly four percent of the total population.
Update from the Daily Mail at 11:45 a.m EDT: the miscreant was named when he appeared in court today as Philip Manshaus.
"Muslims should be safe in our country and we want to show that they have support from the Norwegian government and, as I see it, the whole Norwegian people," Prime Minister Solberg said after attending an Eid Al-Adha celebration in the afternoon.
Terrible tragedy. The heavy armour and needless weapons must have weighed him down. Sigh... !
[DAWN] A PML-N huddle, with the party president in the chair here on Saturday, asked Shahbaz Sharif ...Pak dynastic politician, brother of PM Nawaz Sharif, chief minister of Punjab... to resume the rallies from where his niece Maryam left.
"The opposition leader in the National Assembly agreed to the suggestion, saying the workers conventions in different cities across the country will continue and the PML-N will not be cowed by the arm-twisting tactics of the Imran Khan ...aka The Great Khan, who is the lightweight's lightweight... government," a party insider told Dawn after the meeting.
The meeting was held in Model Town and attended by Ahsan Iqbal, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Tanvir Hussain, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Khurram Dastgir, Awais Leghari, Pervaiz Malik and retired Capt Safdar.
Before her arrest in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case on Thursday, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz was apparently pulling large crowds in rallies across Punjab 1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard

3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots.... and was scheduled to lead a public gathering in Muzaffarabad on Aug 15 to express solidarity with the people of India-held Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder the refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... There was an opinion in the meeting that Mr Sharif should lead the Muzaffarabad rally as it would serve as a perfect platform for giving a strong reply to the Modi government as well as launching a scathing attack on Prime Minister Imran Khan for, what the PML-N alleged, "selling out Kashmir".

It maintains close ties with international Mohammedan groups such as the Moslem Brotherhood. the Taliban, and al-Qaeda. The Jamaat's objectives are the establishment of a pure Islamic state, governed by Sharia law. It is distinguished by its xenophobia, and its opposition to Westernization, capitalism, socialism, secularism, and liberalist social mores... chief Sirajul Haq ...current head of the Pak Jamaat-e-Islami. Siraj was born in 1962 and entered politics shortly after that... said on Saturday his party would do everything to mobilise international community on the issue.
Presiding over a consultation meeting with the AJK chapter of Hurriyat leadership, he said China always backed Pakistain’s position on the disputed region and the nation was thankful for the gesture. The purpose of the meeting was to develop a future strategy to raise voice against the Indian aggression in held region particularly the situation emerged after the revocation of Article 370 by India.
He said JI would organise an international conference on Kashmir after Eid. Rallies and protest demonstrations would be held across the country to show solidarity with the people of Occupied Kashmir, he added.
Siraj said the JI was trying to mobilise Pak nation and the Moslem world on the issue. The JI would soon announce a plan that how to face and respond to India in the present crisis emerged after Aug 5, the day India scrapped Article 370 violating the UN resolutions and Simla Agreement.
He demanded that the government organise an international conference on Kashmir in Islamabad. The JI chief warned that the Indian government’s settlement plan in occupied region after scrapping Article 370 would be considered illegal and it would badly backfire. The people of Kashmir and Pakistain would never accept it under a conspiracy.
He said India had turned the entire occupied region into jail and deployed thousands of fresh troops to silence the voice of people of Kashmir. But, Siraj added, their ruthlessness and naked aggression against innocent people would never work as world had seen thousands of protesters across the valley on Friday and Saturday.
He congratulated the Kashmiri youth for standing firm against the Indian army and said 220 million Paks were also standing with them in their struggle against India.
[DAWN] Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that sacrificing life for the defence of the motherland is the highest sacrifice that one can make.
According to a blurb issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief visited the families of Lt Col Raashid Kareem Baig, Lt Col Waseem Hayat and Sepoy Ghulam Raza at their homes on Saturday. All three were martyred.
During his visit, the army chief said that remembering the country’s heroes was a source of motivation for both forces and the nation.
"We can never thank enough families of our shuhada for their great sacrifice. It’s our duty to stay connected with them and we are lifetime responsible for their well being," the statement quoted Gen Bajwa as saying.

Magistrate Shahid Choudhary in a tweet says that more than 250 ATMs have been made functional and bank branches have opened for people to withdraw money ahead of Monday's Eidul Azha, that falls on Monday.
There has been no immediate independent confirmation of reports by authorities on Sunday that people are visiting shopping areas for festival purchases as all communications and the internet remain cut off.
The Kashmir Media Service, however, has reported that the curfew is still in place and the occupied region continues to face a blackout for the seventh day.
Gov Satya Pal Malik said in interviews with television networks that there would be easing of restrictions and adequate essential supplies for Monday's Eidul Azha festival.
His comments came as India's main opposition leader, Rahul Gandhi, on Saturday demanded a statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the situation in occupied Kashmir, saying there are reports of violence and people dying.
[Jpost] A US service member was killed during a mission with Iraqi Security Forces in Nineveh province in Iraq, reports indicated over the weekend. However, it's easy to be generous with someone else's money... US authorities say they cannot confirm details of the incident, pending an investigation, and that the name of the service member has been withheld until next of kin can be notified.
This is a rare casualty for US operations in Iraq, where ISIS was largely defeated in large scale battles in 2017. However over the last year and a half ISIS has attempted to establish a new foothold and a recent US report said that it is trying to build up its command and control networks. It exploits areas where there is either weak government control, such as the desert border with Syria, or where there are divisions between local authorities. One of these areas is Nineveh province.

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) ‐ Iraq denied on Sunday a report released by the Pentagon last week about the presence of 14,000 Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... fighters on the country’s border with Syria.
"The figure announced by the Pentagon is extremely exaggerated," the front man for the Joint Operations Command, Brig. Gen. Yahya Rasool, said in a press statement, adding the number of IS members on the Iraqi-Syrian border are estimated at dozens.
Rasool pointed out that the recently-launched three-phase "Victory Will" operation succeeded in destroying many IS hotbeds and hideouts along the borderline between the two countries.
Last week, the Pentagon claimed that the IS group retains between 14,000 and 18,000 members in Iraq and Syria, including up to 3,000 foreigners. The report warned that the group is still actively trying to recruit new fighters in both countries.
The report to the Security Council said the group is believed to be capable of directing funds to support "terrorist acts" within Iraq, Syria and abroad by mainly using services such as informal money transfer businesses.

Pardon me, But... Arab tribesmen in that region are extremely mercenary and switched sides as long as someone pays them. ISIS yesterday, SAA today, Iraqi militia tomorrow, and maybe ISIS the day after. Started back when the Babylonians and the Egyptians were feuding and continues to today.
Islam's origins are traced back by scholars to the ancient fertility religion of the worship of the moon god 'Hu Baal', which was the dominant religion of Arabs.
The moon god was worshiped by praying toward Mecca several times a day, making an annual pilgrimage to the Kabah which was a temple of Hubaal - running around the Kabah seven times, caressing a big granite dildo.
The animal sacrifices, friday prayers, giving alms to the poor, etc... were pagan rites that aped the Israelis in order to one-up them. Their cults all failed them every day, and they ruled their little shithole fiefdoms among themselves for centuries.
My Rant:
It was only when Jesus Christ came to be utterly rejected in person and word and spirit for seven hundred years that this ravager was formed in the desert.
A judgement against the 'progressives' of the era, and those who would rather serve whitened religious bureaucracies than accept the simplicity of Christ, and those hopelessly invested in such enterprises they chose to compromise the real Church by merging it with Roman madness, rather than give up their old religious offices.

[BREITBART] Pope Francis said that citizens of Europe ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... an nations should put the good of Europe before that of their own countries in a remarkably frank interview Friday.
"The thinking must be ’Europe first, then each one of us,’" the pope said in a wide-ranging interview with the Italian daily La Stampa. "’Each one of us’ is not secondary, it is important, but Europe counts more."
"Never forget that ’the whole is greater than the parts.’ Globalization, unity, should not be conceived as a sphere, but as a polyhedron: each people retains its identity in unity with others," he said.
"In the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... , we must talk to each other, confront each other and get to know each other. Yet sometimes we see only compromise monologues. No: we also need to listen," he said.
The pontiff made no attempt to conceal his contempt for the policies of Italia’s interior minister, Matteo Salvini, whose motto has been "Italians first." Francis even went so far as to compare Salvini’s speeches to those of Adolph Hitler.
"Sovereignism" ‐ the movement spearheaded in Italia by Mr. Salvini ‐ reveals "an attitude toward isolation," the pope said. "I am concerned because we hear speeches that resemble those of Hitler in 1934. ’Us first, We...We...’ These are frightening thoughts."

As the great African-American soprano Leontyne Price reputedly said to a certain annoying-as-fuck sodomite symphony conductor who kept trying to correct her singing:
"Y'all leave the SINGING to ME.
An' I' 'gon leave the BUTTF---IN' to y'alls."
Go back to your pedo-pals, Bergoglio.
And leave the singing to real men.
[ALMASDARNEWS] Senior Advisor to the Iranian Parliament, Speaker Hossein Amir Abdollahian has cautioned Israel against taking part in a planned US maritime coalition on his Twitter, warning the Jewish state that it will suffer the consequences otherwise.
"If Israel enters the Strait of Hormuz, it will be engulfed in the wrath of the region and its smoke will rise from Tel Aviv", he said.
Amir Abdollahian further advised the US and its allies to abandon the idea of their military mission in the Persian Gulf, arguing that it will not bring peace and safety to the region as they claim.
"Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... has a vital role in the security of the Strait of Hormuz. Any US-led military coalition in the strait is a repetition of Iraq and Afghanistan occupation and escalation of insecurity in the region", Abdollahian wrote.
The senior advisor’s statements come in the wake of warnings, sounded by Iran’s Foreign Ministry on 9 August. The ministry’ front man stated that the country would view any external military coalition’s presence in the Gulf as a "clear threat" and act accordingly.
"Within the framework of the country’s deterrence and defensive policy, the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran reserves the right to counter this threat and defend its territory", Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Abbas Mousavi said.
The US has announced plans to organise the maritime military coalition in order to ensure the safety of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz ‐ a crucial oil exporting lane, following the attacks on 6 tankers in the Gulf. The US groundlessly attributed the attacks to Iran, despite Tehran vehemently denying it.
[DAWN] Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, during a telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Imran Khan ... aka The Great Khan, who who convinced himself that playing cricket qualified him to lead a nuclear-armed nation with severe personality problems... on Sunday, expressed concern over the "atrocities and killing of innocent people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... ," a statement released by the Prime Minister's Office said.
The call was made as part of PM Imran's outreach to world leaders with a view to apprise them of the grave situation in the region and to urge them to take action.
During the conversation, the prime minister underlined that India's move to change the status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir ‐ which is internationally recognised as a disputed region ‐ was in violation of the United Nations ...the Oyster Bay money pit... Security Council resolutions.
He also highlighted the serious threat of "massive killings as part of the crackdown by Indian forces" and called on the international community to play their part and act urgently to prevent "the impending calamity", according to the statement.

70 years of "dispute"... at some point the Gordian Knot needs to be severed, forcibly, so there is a resolution.

Just cursory courtesy toward Imran. In the same vein as everybody's in the OIC. Even the thankless Afghans know India has done more for them than Pakistan. Even the taliban flat out refused to give a shit.
