[RADIOSHABELLE] An official in Somalia’s central semi-autonomous state of Galmudug ...a semiautonomous region in central Somalia, bordering Puntland on the north. Galmudug is not trying to obtain international recognition as a separate nation, but rather considers itself autonomous within the larger Somali federalism, for what that's worth... has declared that region’s security forces will launch a security operation in the conflict-riddled town of Galkayo, the regional capital of Mudug province.
Speaking to Radio Shabelle, the mayor of Galkayo Hersi Yusuf Barre confirmed that Puntland ...a region in northeastern Somalia, centered on Garowe in the Nugaal province. Its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 1998. Puntland and the equally autonomous Somaliland seem to have avoided the clan rivalries and warlordism that have typified the rest of Somalia, which puts both places high on the list for Islamic subversion... and Galmudug forces are prepared to carry out the joint operation aimed at beefing up the city’s overall peace and stability following festivities in the past.
Barre stressed the two Federal states have recently trained an integrated Police force tasked with the security of Galkayo.
Somali Police commissioner Abdihakim Dahir Sa’id, who is a working visit in the town, has attended the closing ceremony for the training course of the integrated soldiers, and urged them to strive hard to enforce security in the region.

[Al Jazeera] The UN has indicated is not responsible for controlling Yemen's main airport, dismissing a call by a Saudi-led military coalition for the world body to do so.
The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic... asked the UN on Thursday to take control of the airport in the capital Sanaa, which is in the territory controlled by the rival Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ... fighters, Saudi state news agency SPA reported.
The coalition said it was ready to allow the reopening of the airport on the condition that the UN provided support for airport security.
It said the airport remained closed "due to concerns for the safety of civilian travel and commercial flights, as well as the smuggling of weapons by the Houthis".
On Friday, UN front man Stephane Dujarric called on the rival sides to allow humanitarian aid access, including through Sanaa airport which has been closed to all but limited UN flights for a year.
"[The airport] is not under UN control," Dujarric said on Friday.
"The parties to the conflict have the responsibility to ensure the protection of civilians and their access to humanitarian relief, including through the use of airspace and airport."

[NYDailyNews] ISIS used bogus eBay deals to funnel money to an operative in the U.S., according to a report Thursday.
Mohammed Elshinawy was locked away ... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not... in Maryland more than a year ago following a detailed FBI investigation, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing a 2016 indictment.
Elshinawy is accused of pretending to sell computer printers on eBay to get ISIS payments through PayPal.
The 30-something man, who pledged allegiance to the terror group, was part of a global network that operated from the UK to Bangladesh and was run by Siful Sujan -- a senior ISIS leader who was killed in a 2015 air strike, according to an FBI affidavit.
Elshinawy admitted to Sherlocks that he was told to use the funds for terror attacks in the U.S., although he never carried one out.
He pleaded guilty to supporting the jihadist group and is awaiting trial. Other alleged operatives were arrested in Britannia and Bangladesh, according to the affidavit.
Elshinawy allegedly took in $8,700 from ISIS. Elshinawy used the money to buy a laptop, a cell phone and a virtual private network to communicate with terrorists, the affidavit says.
An eBay front man told the Daily News that "eBay has zero tolerance for criminal activity on our marketplace and we worked with law enforcement to bring this individual to justice."
A PayPal spokeswoman told the Journal the company works "to prevent terrorist activity on our platform" and with law enforcement investigating suspicious activity.

[IsraelTimes] Ramallah has blocked 30 websites in the past month, most of them belonging to Paleostinian leader’s main rivals Mohammed Dahlan and Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,.
Paleostinian Authority President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas ... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial... has clamped down on social media and news websites -- the main outlets for debate and dissent in the West Bank -- with a vaguely worded decree that critics say allows his government to jail anyone on charges of harming "national unity" or the "social fabric."

[Iran Press TV] Myanmar has deployed 500 soldiers to the Moslem-majority northern part of Rakhine state amid fears of another wave of crackdown on Rohingya Moslems.
Two military sources based in the northwestern state said the decision was taken after seven Buddhists were found dead in mountains near the town of Maungdaw last week.
One of the military sources said about 500 troops were sent to several towns, including Buthidaung and Maungdaw, near the border with Bangladesh on Thursday.
Residents claim the seven Buddhists were killed after they discovered a camp for Rohingya fighters.
The government blames the incident on "extremists," accusing the fighters of killing informants in the Moslem community.
Rakhine State police chief Colonel Sein Lwin said, "We have to increase security operations because the security situation has worsened, some Moslems and Buddhists have been killed by the myrmidons."
