[THESUN.NG] The Nigerian Army said troops in the ongoing counter-terrorism operations in the North-East have captured two Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... commanders, Bana Yamode and Babagana Usman, and apprehended two suspected Boko Haram logistics suppliers, Mallam Mustapha Ismaila and Abdulmudalabi Haruna, in Borno State.
Director of Army Public Relations, Maj.-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the statement, Yamode and Usman were captured after they infiltrated the Damasak Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State on Sunday, August 4.
Troops acting on credible intelligence regarding terrorists’ movements were said to have apprehended the suspects.
The Army said the suspects, who claimed to be visiting their families in the camp, had previously led attacks on troops in the area.
The troops also apprehended two suspected Boko Haram logistic suppliers, Mallam Mustapha Ismaila, 49, and Abdulmudalabi Haruna, 30, and rescued two minors during the operations, the Army said.

During preliminary investigation, the suspects admitted to being involved in kidnapping and armed robbery activities in the general area. Items recovered from the suspects include two cycle of violences and several mobile phones.
"In Kogi State, troops arrested a notorious kidnapping kingpin in Egbe Community of Yagba Local Government Area. The suspect, Mohammed Bello, who belonged to a seven-man syndicate specialized in kidnapping unsuspecting citizens, has been on the security agencies’ wanted criminals’ watchlist.

[NYPOST] Three Taylor Swift shows have been canceled on the European leg of her Eras tour after police narrowly thwarted an ISIS plot to attack her concerts in Vienna — and authorities warned there could be other threats.
Swift’s sold-out Vienna shows – slated for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday – were called off after the terror scare, her Austrian show promoter Barracuda announced.
“With confirmation from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety,” the promoter said in a post on Instagram.
Two suspects — a 19-year-old living in his parents’ house near Vienna, along with another man — were arrested Wednesday after police raided the home, according to the Austrian outlet Kronen Zeitung.
A bomb squad found various chemicals and substances potentially being used to make explosives, and evacuated the home.
The pair were allegedly targeting Swift’s concerts at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium, where she is scheduled to play Thursday through Saturday night to sold-out crowds, according to Kronen Zeitung.
“The suspects were focused on the Taylor Swift concerts. We discovered that he was taking action to prepare for the attack,” said Austrian Director General for Public Safety Franz Ruf.
“A clear threat has been averted,” he said, adding that authorities had not yet declared the concerts entirely safe and were still investigating other accomplices, according to Kronen Zeitung.
The 19-year-old suspect is an (imported?)
Austrian national, and is believed to have pledged allegiance to the Islamic terror group in July.
He and the other suspect are believed to have become radicalized online.
Security plans have been increased at the concerts.

A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a string of vandalism targetting the homes of Jewish members of the Brooklyn Museum’s board of directors in June. Samuel Seligson, 32, of Brooklyn, turned himself in to the police on Tuesday.
He is one of those independent photojournalist/videographers who mostly “report” on Antifa activities. No doubt he’s been working for years on a terribly serious documentary about a terribly serious subject in his limited free time.
A law enforcement official familiar with the case told the Associated Press that Seligson was accused of traveling in a car with the vandals and going with them onto private property. Seligson has been charged with two counts of criminal mischief with a felony hate crime advancement.
According to amNew York Metro, Seligson turned himself in at the 7th Precinct station at around 7:30 am. Police sources told the outlet that Seligson was allegedly the lookout for the vandals.
An attorney for Seligson, Leena Widdi, said that the NYPD raided her client’s apartment twice in one week leading up to him turning himself in, and said the use of the hate crime statute against a journalist was an "appalling" overreach, AP reported.
"Samuel is being charged for alleged behavior that is protected by the First amendment and consistent with his job as a credentialed member of the press," Widdi told AP. "What is even more concerning, however, is that this member of the press is being charged with a hate crime."
Sources familiar with the investigation told amNew York that Seligson allegedly did not have any camera equipment on him during the incidents. Seligson is an Antifa "journalist" who uses the alias "Thizzl" on social media.
Seligson, who is Jewish, is a fixture at New York City protests and has licensed and sold footage to mainstream outlets, including Reuters and ABC News.
Seligson has been arraigned in Brooklyn on eight counts of criminal mischief, four of which are classified as a hate crime, and has been granted supervised release.

Not many civilians are thought to remain there. In all of northern Gaza, fewer than 200,000 Paleostinians remain, according to recent IDF assessments.
Dozens of rockets were fired over the past week from southern Gaza, mostly at Israeli border communities, but several long-range attacks also targeted the Gan Yavne area near Ashdod and towns near Kiryat Malachi.
According to the IDF, those rockets were fired from launchers belonging to Hamas that were placed next to two humanitarian aid distribution warehouses, including one belonging to UNRWA, the United Nations ...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense... aid agency for Paleostinian refugees.
The launchers were struck and destroyed, and the IDF said it had identified secondary explosions following the Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... , indicating that additional weapons were stored there.
"The Hamas terrorist organization regularly violates international law, while systematically exploiting civilian buildings and the civilian population as human shields for terror activity against the State of Israel," the IDF said.
"Alongside this, the IDF, through COGAT, will continue to work in cooperation with the international aid organizations in the Gaza Strip," it added.
Dozens more airstrikes were carried out in Gaza over the past day, targeting buildings used by terror groups and cells of operatives, according to the military.
A weapons manufacturing plant was destroyed in an airstrike Tuesday, the IDF said. According to the army, the plant belonged to Hamas and Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... and was located within the Israeli-designated humanitarian zone in Deir el-Balah, in the Gaza Strip’s center.
The IDF said it took "many steps" to minimize damage to civilians, including the use of aerial surveillance, munitions "adapted to the type of strike," and other intelligence.
Meanwhile,

In the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza, reservists with the 252nd Division killed several more button men in festivities and by calling in airstrikes, the IDF added.

It seems almost certain that Israel will make no plan to leave Gaza. It will continue to level the city until the remnants will have to live like rats among the rubble.
