[Free Beacon] Illinois state Senator Tom Cullerton (D.) has been indicted for fraudulently accepting benefits from a labor union, prosecutors said Friday morning. Cullerton is facing one charge of "conspiracy to embezzle from a labor union and employee benefit plans," one count of "making false statements in a health care matter," and 39 counts of "embezzlement from a labor union," according to an NBC Chicago affiliate.
Cullerton, an Army veteran, took office after winning a senate seat in 2012. Prior to his election, he was a member of the local chapter of the Teamsters Union. Once he won, his employment was terminated and he was no longer eligible for the union's pension or benefit funds.
However, in March of 2013, Cullerton was hired by the Teamsters Joint Council to serve as a "union organizer," which entailed receiving a full-time salary along with benefits, according to an ABC Chicago affiliate.
The indictment accuses Cullerton of not performing the duties of the union organizer position while receiving a salary and pension benefits. It also accuses him of conspiring with individuals inside the union to misrepresent himself as an employee to claim medical benefits.

Something tell me 40 separate charges isn't even a Chicago indictment record. You want a shot at the title, Tom? You'll have to do better than that.

You would probably have to arrest every single elected official on both sides of the party and every member of the state RNC and DNC to just start cleaning up Illinois. It is a terrible place. Chicago is like a giant festering sore on Lake Michigan.
[PAGESIX] Anthony Carlos Danger Weiner ...aka Hot Dog Tony, the remarkably offensive sex maniac six-term New York congressman who resigned in 2011, then decided everybody had forgotten by 2013, when he decided to run for mayor of New York City... seems to be jumping back into the dating cesspool. The gift that keeps on giving.
While rumors sensationally swirled last week that the renowned pervert was getting back together with ex-wife Huma Abedin (it turned out he was just moving into the same building), Page Six has learned that he was spotted on what appeared to be a date with a different woman at South Street Seaport on Thursday afternoon.
A spy at the Garden Bar said of Weiner ‐ who recently finished a 15-month prison stretch for sexting an underage girl ‐ "This d - - k looks to be on a date. They were touching legs and talking close."
Added the spy, "Who would date him?"
In pictures of the adorable scene, Weiner, a k a Carlos Danger ‐ who was wearing a white T-shirt and green chinos ‐ appeared to be cozying up to a brunette in a floral dress. It’s not clear who she is.

[BREITBART] The American economy is providing jobs for younger African-Americans at an unprecedented level. ... but y'all keep voting Dem now, so you can live in nice cities.
In July, the unemployment rate for African-Americans between the ages of 16 and 19 fell to a seasonally adjusted 17.7 percent, the lowest rate since the government began tallying the figures in the early 1970s.
A total of 762,000 young African-Americans had jobs in July, according to the most recent data from the Department of Labor. That’s the highest number on record. The labor force participation rate climbed to 38.8, up from 36.3 a year ago.

[The Intercept] NBC News published a predictably viral story Friday, claiming that "experts who track websites and social media linked to Russia have seen stirrings of a possible campaign of support for Hawaii Democrat Tulsi Gabbard."
But the whole story was a sham: The only "expert" cited by NBC in support of its key claim was the firm New Knowledge, which just got caught by the New York Times fabricating Russian troll accounts on behalf of the Democratic Party in the Alabama Senate race to manufacture false accusations that the Kremlin was interfering in that election. Phew - that was a looooong sentence
To justify its claim that Gabbard is the Kremlin's candidate, NBC stated, "analysts at New Knowledge, the company the Senate Intelligence Committee used to track Russian activities in the 2016 election, told NBC News they've spotted ‘chatter' related to Gabbard in anonymous online message boards, including those known for fomenting right-wing troll campaigns."
What NBC ‐ amazingly ‐ concealed is a fact that reveals its article to be a journalistic fraud: That same firm, New Knowledge, was caught just six weeks ago engaging in a massive scam to create fictitious Russian troll accounts on Facebook and Twitter in order to claim that the Kremlin was working to defeat Democratic Senate nominee Doug Jones in Alabama. The New York Times, when exposing the scam, quoted a New Knowledge report that boasted of its fabrications: "We orchestrated an elaborate ‘false flag' operation that planted the idea that the [Roy] Moore campaign was amplified on social media by a Russian botnet.'"
That fraud was overseen by New Knowledge's CEO, Jonathon Morgan. At the same time Morgan was fabricating Russian troll accounts and using them to create a fraudulent appearance that Putin was trying to defeat the Democratic Senate candidate, he was exploiting his social media "expertise" to claim that Russians were interfering in the Alabama Senate election. In other words, Morgan used his own fake Russian accounts to lie to the public and deceive the national media into believing that Kremlin-linked accounts were trying to defeat the Democratic Senate candidate when, in fact, the accounts he was citing were ones he himself had fabricated and controlled.
Even worse, Morgan's firm is behind one of the recent Senate reports on Russian social media election interference, as well as the creation of "Hamilton 68," the pseudo-data-driven dashboard constantly used by U.S. media outlets to claim that its enemies are supported by the Kremlin. (That tool has so been abused that even some of its designers urged the media to stop exaggerating its meaning.) During the Alabama race, Morgan ‐ in a tweet he deleted once his fraud was exposed ‐ cited the #Hamilton68 data that he himself manipulated with his fake Russian accounts to claim that Russia was interfering in the Alabama Senate race

These people are despicable.
I hope the Nick Sandmann suit brings them down.

The Dems are definitely a bigger threat than Russia.
There is not a single election that was in any way affected by Russian dezinformatsiya.
OTOH the MSM's constant barrage of lies, spin, fibs and fairytales adds up to far more dangerous dezinformatsiya of the sort that actually does distort policy, shut down debate and sway elections.

Just because the dems and the MSM / LIE don't want tulsi doesn't mean any conservative should want her. She's full-on anti-Second Amendment, full-on socialist, etc.

[Free Beacon] A redesign of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation website will make it harder for voters to inspect Sen. Kamala Harris's controversial record as the state's top cop.
The department removed public access to a number of reports on incarceration in the state, including when presidential candidate Kamala Harris (D.) was California's attorney general. Twice a year, the CDCR releases information about the number of new individuals incarcerated in the California prison system as part of its "Offender Data Points" series. These reports provide important information on demographics, sentence length, offense type, and other figures relevant to criminal justice and incarceration.
Until recently, these reports were publicly available at the CDCR's website. A search using archive.org's Wayback Machine reveals that as of April 25, 2019‐the most recent indexed date‐ODP reports were available dating back to the spring of 2009. As of August 2019, the same web page now serves only a single ODP report, the one for Spring 2019. The pre-2019 reports have been removed.
The changes matter in part because the reports contain information about Harris's entire time as state A.G., 2011 to 2017. Harris has taken fire from multiple opponents for her "tough on crime" record as California's top cop, an image that she has tried to shed as a far-left senator and presidential candidate.
One particularly brutal attack came Wednesday night when Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D., Hi.) laid into Harris for her record on criminal justice. Gabbard cited a Washington Free Beacon analysis ‐ based in part on the ODP reports ‐ that found that more than 1,500 Californians were sent to prison for marijuana-related offenses while Harris was attorney general.
The data have been used in other Free Beacon reporting on Harris, specifically the finding that more than 120,000 black and Latino Californians were sent to prison while she was in the State A.G.'s office.
Puppeteer departs
[The Intercept] Two of Rep. Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez's top staffers are leaving her office.
Saikat Chakrabarti, her chief of staff, and Corbin Trent, her director of communications ‐ who, through their work with Justice Democrats, have been alongside Ocasio-Cortez since her primary run ‐ will leave the lawmaker's office. Chakrabarti will go to New Consensus, a nonprofit focused on climate issues and promoting the Green New Deal. Trent will direct communications on Ocasio-Cortez's 2020 campaign, the same role he played during her first congressional run. Saikat made the mistake of saying aloud that the GND was never about climate. It was a first step in remaking American society
"Saikat has decided to leave the office of Rep. Ocasio-Cortez to work with New Consensus to further develop plans for a Green New Deal," Trent said in a statement to The Intercept. "We are extraordinarily grateful for his service to advance a bold agenda and improve the lives of the people in NY-14. From his co-founding of Justice Democrats to his work on the Ocasio-Cortez campaign and in the official office, Saikat's goal has always been to do whatever he can to help the larger progressive movement, and we look forward to continuing working with him to do just that."

Somehow, I doubt that's the only reason for his departure.

... advance a bold agenda and improve the lives of the people in NY-14.
WTH! Just how did they do anything for that district? Talk about delusional propaganda.
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] Michelle Obama is still resistant to calls for her launch a 2020 bid for president.
The former first lady told Amtrak magazine the National there is "zero chance" she will challenge President Trump for the White House, saying there are plenty of other ways she can improve the country without being president.
"There are so many ways to improve this country and build a better world, and I keep doing plenty of them, from working with young people to helping families lead healthier lives. But sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office will never be one of them. It’s just not for me," she said.
She’s made it very clear in the past that she loathes politicians and has little patience for interacting with the voting public. Like Mrs. Bill Clinton, she really is not cut out for the unique pleasures of political life.

Would you want to have brain surgery done by the wife of a neurosurgeon? Or fly in a plane piloted by the wife of a pilot?
Just living in the White House for eight years in no way qualifies you to be the President.

#5 Hillary fans have their fingers in their ears and are screaming "LALALALALA!"
[NEWSBUSTERS.ORG] On Thursday night, it appeared as though MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris My Thigh is Tingling! Matthews ... the late Tip O'Neill's former gopher who has magazines with centerfolds of Barack Obama in his bathroom... was tired from the long hours covering the 2020 Democratic presidential debates as he observed #TBT with riffs about how Barack Obama How much damage could he do in four years?... Eight, then... and his rise are "still thrilling to me" even though "[t]he only thing I've ever had against Obama is when he recedes from us" because "I want him back."
During his A-block panel recapping the debates, Matthews declared that he wanted to talk about "the historic nature of Barack Obama running in '08 and ’12 was so dramatic, I can understand why people who ‐ of color who don't normally vote, think it's all B.S. or whatever showed up because it was so thrilling."

Chris - that thrill up your leg can be fixed with acupuncture. Gimme a call sometime - I got a real good acupuncturist here in Quincy...
[NYPOST] A veteran Minneapolis cop and decorated US Army vet will run as an independent to challenge Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar ...Somali-American Dem representative from Minnesota. She is apparently married to her brother and may be her own grandmaw on her mother's side... ‐ and said Friday that her comments about 9/11 prompted his decision.
"It was very dismissive and disrespectful," he told Fox News.
"September 11 was a terrible loss of life, not just for coppers and firefighters and other first responders, but 3,000 people and non-combatants died, and to be dismissive of that was an outrage," he added.
Omar’s comment that on 9/11 that "some people did something" last March sparked widespread outrage and condemnation from President Trump and politicians from both parties.
Chris Kelley, 49, also charged that the freshman firebrand ...firebrands are noted more for audio volume and the quantity of spittle generated than for any actual logic in their arguments... was more concerned about her celebrity status than her district.
"As former military, I am here to serve and not further my status. I want to do a good job for the people I represent and I don’t have a personal agenda," Kelley told Fox.
"I’m passionate about service and I just want to be able to continue that."
But he added that he did not want his campaign to go negative by attacking Omar.
"I won’t be bringing in controversy and scandal. I will be bringing firsthand knowledge of the things that I know are going on in the community as an officer. I see a lot every day ‐ the homelessness, the opioid crisis; I want to bring these things to the forefront and put some ideas on the table on how to deal with them," said Kelley, who is seeking the endorsement of the Independence-Alliance Party of Minnesota.
