The House Select Committee on Benghazi released Wednesday the March 4 subpoena for former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's emails, refuting her claim in a national TV interview that she was never subpoenaed.
The subpoena was issued directly to Mrs. Clinton after lawmakers became aware that she exclusively used personal email and an email server kept in her home for official business as America's top diplomat, which removed her correspondence form the custody of the State Department and shielded it form being accessed by congressional investigators or public requests under the Freedom of Information Act, according to the committee.
"The committee has issued several subpoenas, but I have not sought to make them public," said Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the committee. "I would not make this one public now, but after Secretary Clinton falsely claimed the committee did not subpoena her, I have no choice in order to correct the inaccuracy."
In an interview Tuesday with CNN, Mrs. Clinton insisted that she had not been subpoenaed for the email when she deleted more than 30,000 email she deemed personal and then wiped clean the server to prevent the email from being restored.
Mrs. Clinton turned over to the State Department about 55,000 pages of emails that she hand-picked to be reviewed and potentially released by agency.
"I've never had a subpoena," Mrs. Clinton said in the interview, which was her first national TV interview since entering the presidential race three months ago.

It's because she's obviously destined to become Queen Hillary, and leave the throne to Chelsea.

She's only inevitable if the GOP establishment pushes a candidate on the platform of pro-illegal, pro-crony capitalism, pro-Obamacare (we'll just make some tweeks and changes), and stupid trade policies (we get nothing but trinkets and they get all the business).

Wehell, iff my childhood dreams/visions, 1960's-1970's Guam Taotamonas , + of course Madonna Vids prove true, + usually do, DITTO AS PER JEB BUSH ALA 2020 CAMPAIGN YEAR.
[RUDAW.NET] In a speech at the Pentagon on Monday US President Barack Obama Ready to Rule from Day One... said that progress has been made in the fight against the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS), with coalition Arclight airstrikes and local forces on the ground.
"Altogether, ISIL has lost over a quarter of the populated areas it had seized in Iraq," said Obama. "ISIL's strategic weaknesses are real."
Obama said that local groups on the ground have proven effective in pushing back ISIS in many areas, mentioning Kirkuk, ... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time... djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... Dam, Tikrit, and Kobani as examples.
"In the past year we've seen when we have effective partners on the ground, ISIL can be pushed back," Obama said.
Obama vowed that all elements of American power would be involved in fighting the krazed killer organization.
The US President said that ISIS is posing a threat to all countries in the region and therefore all nations need to do more in order to defeat the group militarily and ideologically.
"This is not simply a military effort," he said. "Ideologies are not defeated by guns. They're defeated with better ideas."
He added: "In order for us to defeat terrorist groups like ISIL and al-Qaeda, we must discredit their ideology. This broader challenge of countering violent extremism,"
Obama who said that the US is not in war with Islam, said that efforts should be made to stem the flow of imported muscle into Iraq and Syria.
"Ideologies are not defeated with guns, they are defeated by better ideas. We will never be at war with Islam," he said.
Obama said that the US has stepped up its fight against ISIS' online recruitment efforts and he encouraged countries with large Moslem populations to increase economic opportunities for young people to prevent them from joining radical groups.
"This larger battle for hearts and minds is going to be a generational struggle," Obama said.

Were they successes? Sort of, in a 'last man standing' sense. Did he have anything to do with them? Well, he was alive on the planet at the same time, and apparently all things flow from his selfness.

"Ideologies are not defeated by guns" must be the new catchphrase. He says it twice in the six sentences quoted, and approaches the idea once, for a total of 50%. Perhaps this is a non-representative sample, but listening to that speech must have been excruciating.

"Ideologies are not defeated by guns" - maybe not by guns alone, but if the opponent ideology is using guns your ideology had better be able to defend itself.

Remember when the ISJV was about to overrun Kobani, and Team Obama started distancing itself from the impending capture and slaughter of its residents, "Oh, Kobani? Just a little crossroads town, to biggie."
Or, straight from the horse's mouth: Speaking tonight, the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, suggested that preventing the fall of Kobani was not a strategic US objective. “As horrific as it is to watch in real time what is happening in Kobani, you have to step back and understand the strategic objective,” he said.
