The partisan Democrat interviewer asked Biden why his debate performance was so bad after six days of rest at Camp David. Biden threw out some prepared talking points: He'd been very sick. He was tested for COVID and "for infections." He clutched his heart when he said the last part. (None of this explained why a very sick Biden was sent to a diner after the debate to gladhand supporters.)
Stephanopoulos asked Biden whether he had watched any of the debate. Biden couldn't remember: "I don't think I did."

At this point, Jim Henson could not puppeteer Joe through a successful campaign. Biden remains in place because a few family members and staff benefit from the status quo. Like Rabaul, Joe is inconvenient to dislodge. The only way he could regain credibility would be for him to take a cognitive test. The only thing keeping him in place is that he hasn’t taken one.

As predicted, the logistics of voter fraud has begun.
[ZERO] In a 4-3 decision that reverses their own 2022 prohibition on unmanned dropboxes, the justices agreed with Democrats who argued that the Wisconsin Supreme Court had previously misinterpreted the law in its 2022 ruling, and wrongly concluded that absentee ballots can only be returned to a clerk in their office, and not to a drop box that is located elsewhere.
"What if we just got it wrong?" said Justice Jill Karofsky during May arguments. "What if we made a mistake? Are we now supposed to just perpetuate that mistake into the future?"
Attorneys representing Republican backers of the 2022 ruling argued that there have been no changes in the facts or the law to warrant overturning the ruling that's less than two years old.

"Unstaffed wot?" quoth grossly fat Friar Tuck, he of the merry band of homeless who (probably unwittingly) guard me local vote disposal bin as if it were a chest from the Bishop's treasury.
[TOWNHALL] With Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created ... by the — you know — you know, the thing... ’s mental health becoming a top 2024 issue, Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... are in a bind. The June 27 debate was an unspinnable disaster. Biden can’t de-age, and it’s unlikely he’ll get better as the campaign season becomes even more grueling. He was still gassed after nearly two weeks of rest and vacation following two rudimentary presidential trips overseas before the debate and still got destroyed by Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... . On top of voters thinking he’s too old, some top Democrats and donors remain laser-focused on trying to remove him from the ticket. For now, Biden has resisted the calls for him to step aside. Still, the Huffington Post opted to publish this insane opinion piece which ironically blows up the ’Biden is a victim of cheap fakes’ narrative.
That line already got obliterated in the debate, but this is a desecration of a corpse material here. The liberal publication suggested that artificial intelligence should be used to make Biden sound less old. That’s right: the Democrats should basically create cheap fakes of Biden’s speech skills to deceive voters [emphasis mine]:
The stakes of the 2024 presidential election cannot be overstated. With Donald Trump promising to act as a dictator "on day one," it is not hyperbolic to say the future of American democracy hangs in the balance. Against this backdrop, the Biden campaign faces a critical challenge: conveying a strong and effective image of President Joe Biden to a population and media ecosystem increasingly focused on optics over substance. Given the president’s concerning performance last week, it’s time for the Biden campaign to consider leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to effectively reach the voting public.
[...]
Joe Biden is old and has had a lifelong stutter. He acknowledged in a fiery ...a single two-syllable word carrying connotations of both incoherence and viciousness. A fiery delivery implies an audience of rubes and yokels, preferably forming up into a mob... rally following his debate performance: "I might not walk as easily or talk as smoothly as I used to." This has impeded his ability to communicate with mass audiences with consistent success. AI augmentations and video renderings could serve to smooth out these bumps while allowing the Biden campaign to effectively disseminate true information about the state of our democracy and the Biden administration’s accomplishments. The president has limited time to campaign as he also focuses on running the country, and AI would be a cost-effective and efficient way to communicate his message personally and directly to voters.
[...]
Reasonably, some may challenge the use of AI as dishonest and deceptive, but the current information ecosystem is arguably no better. It may even be worse. Media outlets like the New York Post have engaged in sharing deceptively cropped viral clips of the president, dubbed ’cheapfakes,’ to make him appear confused or weak. Though no excuse for Biden’s weak debate performance, CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... elected to allow Trump to lie for the full 90-minute debate with zero fact-checking. They offered fact-checking over an hour after the debate, which realistically, a mere fraction of the debate audience stayed tuned for. Social media outlets like Instagram and TikTok have cracked down on political content, while rightwing billionaire Elon Musk has used Twitter to amplify false information about the election and boost Republicans. Even once great institutions like The Washington Post have transitioned into Murdoch-style tabloids.

Strange how nobody noticed the 'life long stutter' before. He didn't have one during the Bork hearings.

She despises both voters and the politicians who court them, and isn’t interested in wielding power. Unlike Mrs. Bill Clinton, who agrees with her on the first, but is willing to play the game in order to get her hands on power… and all the beautiful money that follows power.

Just a thought: The Obama's long and close ties to media and Hollywood elites suggest a dramatic, well prepared script of a declared crisis and a rescue mission to save America causing Big Mike to abandon her carefully crafted disinterest and agree to the coronation and implementation of Obama 4.0. The endless visuals of the Lightbringer and discussions of his commitment to "Her" Administration will signal the key point of the campaign!
[AOL] President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created... by the — you know — you know, the thing... was examined by his physician in the days following last week’s CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... presidential debate, the White House tells CNN — despite the White House press secretary having said Wednesday that the president has had no medical exams since his February physical.
"Several days later, the president was seen to check on his cold and was recovering well," White House front man Andrew Bates said.
On Wednesday, CNN had asked Karine Jean-Pierre in the White House press briefing whether the president had received "any medical exams" since his February physical, and the press secretary had responded: "We were able to talk to his doctor about that and that is a no."
A White House official adds when Biden was seen by his doctor after the debate, it was a "brief check," not a "physical." CNN on Wednesday did not ask Jean-Pierre whether Biden had had another physical since February, but rather, any medical examination.
Politico first reported that Biden told more than 20 Democratic governors in a private meeting Wednesday night that he underwent a medical checkup after last week’s debate and is fine.
The White House’s explanation Thursday that Jean-Pierre said Biden had not had any medical exams since February because she was drawing a distinction between the president being checked out by his doctor and receiving a formal "physical" does not appear to explain a different exchange from the same briefing on Wednesday.
Jean-Pierre was asked by a news hound to clarify whether the president had been checked out by his doctor around the debate given that he had a cold.
"He was on the way to the debate, the doctor was with him, he had a cold, he’s 81. Does he not get checked out by the doctor?" the news hound asked.

The joke making the rounds is the Doc was his wife Dr. Jill
[FoxNews - liveblog] California Gov. Gavin Newsom dodged the question when a reporter asked if he would support Vice President Kamala Harris should President Biden drop out of the 2024 race.
"Yeah, I don't even like playing in the hypothetical, because last night was about sort of locking down any doubt or ambiguity. And then we start running in different directions, zig zag, you know, all that kind of speculation and that gets in the way of progress," Newsom said Thursday while in South Haven, Michigan, for an appearance at the Van Buren County Democratic Party's Fourth of July reception.
Pundits have floated Newsom as a potential alternative to Biden, should the 81-year-old president decide against continuing his re-election campaign after his disastrous performance at the CNN Presidential Debate. But first he would have to upset Harris, who is Biden's heir apparent.
Rather than affirm his support for the vice president, Newsom called the question a distraction.
"It's a legitimate question that I respect and appreciate it. But if you can appreciate my point of view that it's very unhelpful and it's exactly the question and answer that the Republican Party right now wants us to have in that kind of two way conversation, give and take. I'm not going to play into that. Joe Biden's our president, he said he's all in. I double down, saying I'm all in. And not only that, I'm here with you to prove it."

It’s like asking an NFL GM if he plans to re-sign a veteran. The answer is always an amorphous porridge of. Complementary word goo. There’s just no advantage to commitment and truth.

[NYPOST] President Joe "Aunt Jemima" Biden described himself as the "first black woman to serve with a black president" as he yet again twisted his words, his latest gaffe as he scrambles to reassure voters he’s still fit to lead.
The 81-year-old president made the slip up as he struggled to find the right phrasing while being interviewed Thursday on Philadelphia’s WURD black radio station as part of an Independence Day media blitz a week on from his train-wreck debate performance.
Biden appeared to trip up as he described having served as former President Barack Obama My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it... ’s vice president and then choosing Kámala Harris Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's former mistress, then a senatrix from California former 2020 Dem presidential hopeful, and Joe Biden's wing nut... as his own.
"By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman, to serve with a black president," he told host Andrea Lawful-Sanders.
Elsewhere in the interview, Biden had boasted about appointing the first black woman, Ketanji Brown Jackson, to the Supreme Court and also picking the first black woman to serve as veep.
The stumble, though, was just one of several slip-ups and mistakes Biden made during the interview — which was aimed at reassuring voters that his debate debacle was just a lone bad night.
At one point, he made the bizarre claim that he was the "first president that got elected statewide in the state of Delaware, when I was a kid."
He also claimed he understood the black struggle for representation — because he didn’t think Catholics could be president before John F. Kennedy was elected more than six decades ago.
