Chalkone up for the FBI. An arrest was made over the weekend, the FBI announced today, and the home-grown terror suspect’s plans to attack during the Independence Day celebrations in Cleveland have come to naught

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] One person was killed in Iraq’s Kirkuk on Sunday when a suicide boom-mobile went off near a storage site housing ballot boxes from a May national election, police sources said, two days before a manual recount was due to begin.
Another 20 people were maimed in the kaboom. The warehouse holding the ballot boxes was not damaged, the sources said.
Iraq’s parliamentary election in May was clouded by allegations of fraud. On Saturday a judges’ panel announced that a recount of votes mandated by the Iraqi parliament and the courts was to kick off on Tuesday, starting with Kirkuk.
The driver detonated the vehicle before reaching the entrance of the warehouse after officers guarding the facility opened fire, the police sources said.

He spends most of his time in Iran, safely out of the line of fire, where he's learning to be an ayatollah... ’s electoral list came first in the national election which saw a historically low turnout. After weeks of negotiations on forming a government, Sadr formed an alliance with Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, whose electoral list came third and with second-placed Iran ally Hadi al-Amiri’s bloc.
In early June, a storage site holding half of Baghdad’s ballot boxes went up in flames in an incident Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi described as a "plot to harm the nation and its democracy".
The source pointed out that most of those injured in the kaboom are coppers stationed to protect the site, where a manual recount of parliamentary election votes was scheduled to take place.
"No ballot boxes were affected by the kaboom," the source said.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Iraq has begun building a fence along its border with Syria to stop ISIS forces of Evil crossing into the country, a border guards front man said Sunday.
"Ten days ago we started to set up a barbed wire security fence with surveillance towers along the border with Syria," said Anwar Hamid Nayef, front man in Iraq’s Anbar province.
The frontier barrier includes a six-metre-wide trench and involves thermal cameras and drones scanning the border for forces of Evil attempting to cross from Syria.
Baghdad declared victory over ISIS at the end of last year, but the group holds pockets of territory in the vast deserts of eastern Syria and maintains its ability to strike inside Iraq.
The new fence so far runs for 20 km north from the area around the border town of al-Qaim, which Iraqi forces retook from ISIS in November.
In total the frontier stretches for some 600 km.
Border front man Nayef said that experts from Baghdad’s ministry of defense and an anti-ISIS coalition spearheaded by the United States would come "to evaluate the effectiveness of the fence".
"If they approve the installations, we will continue along the whole border with Syria," he said.
In a sign of the continuing menace it poses to Iraq, the bodies of eight captives executed by ISIS were this week found along a highway north of Baghdad.
In a bid to combat the myrmidons, Iraqi forces have carried out a series of air strikes against ISIS inside Syria.
