[Breitbart] LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- Rapper Finese 2Tymes was arrested in Alabama early Sunday, a day after a shooting at one of his concerts in Little Rock left 28 people injured, the U.S. Marshal Service said.
Ricky Hampton of Memphis, Tennessee, also known as Finese2Tymes, was arrested early Sunday, according to an inmate roster at an Alabama jail. The U.S. Marshal Service said Hampton and another man were arrested at the Side Effects Club in Birmingham, where he was performing.
The Marshal Service says the men were arrested on a "fugitive from justice" warrant. It’s not yet clear whether the arrests were related to the shooting. Little Rock’s police chief previously had said Hampton had outstanding charges in Arkansas.
Twenty-five people between the ages of 16 and 35 suffered gunshot wounds, and three others were hurt, following the shooting at the Power Ultra Lounge early Saturday.
City officials intend to shut down the club. State regulators suspended the club’s liquor license Saturday and its landlord later posted an eviction notice.
The volley of gunfire inside the Power Ultra Lounge early Saturday came so fast that investigators believe multiple people had to have been involved. Police Chief Kenton Buckner credited quick work by first responders for there being no fatalities.
Courtney Swanigan, 23, told The Associated Press that when the gunfire rang out, "I just closed my eyes, got down on the ground and put my hands on my head."
City officials said they would move Monday to shut down the club under a "criminal abatement" program. State regulators suspended the club’s liquor license earlier Saturday.

"Chicago," snark hardworking elves,
"Your guns won't be shooting themselves!"
Reply from the hovels:
"Send self-digging shovels,
For we are not people what delves."
In Illinois, land of such riches,
Get shot and they'll buy you new britches.
There, even the snitches
Will always get stitches
By sending the bill to you... you vicious, vicious taxpayers.
[Iran Press TV] The US police will have killed some 1,000 people by the end of this year, says a report based on the record of the first half of 2017 as well as the past years’ counts.
So far this year, police forces in the United States have shot 492 people dead, The Washington Post reported on Saturday.
The corpse count on June 16 this year is identical to last year's tally, said the report, speculating that American police will tread the same path.
"These numbers show us that officer-involved shootings are constant over time," Geoffrey Alpert, a criminologist at the University of South Carolina, told the Post, which has been tracking US police fatal shootings since 2015. "Some places go up, some go down, but its averaging out. This is our society in the 21st century."

So how many of that poor unfortunate 492 actually deserved it? Committing an armed robbery or car jacking or shooting at a policeman?
I know we only seem to hear about those cases that leave you shaking your head about police training, but not all police shootings are gunning down innocents.
[Al Jazeera] One of South America's biggest cocaine kingpins, who evaded police for three decades and even underwent surgery to change his face, has been captured, Brazilian authorities said.
Luiz Carlos da Rocha, nicknamed White Head, was arrested in the western state of Mato Grosso in Sorriso city, the federal police said in a statement on Saturday.
Da Rocha had changed his name to Vitor Luiz de Moraes and undergone plastic surgery to successfully dodge police while continuing to run his international drug business.
His alleged right-hand man was also captured at a separate location during the operation in which police said 150 agents carried out 24 raids, seizing an estimated $10m worth of luxury cars, aircraft, farms and other property.
The name of the operation was "Spectrum", referring in Portuguese to the phantom-like nature of a fugitive "who lived discreetly and in the shadows... evading police attempts for almost 30 years", the police statement said.
In addition to using extreme violence, da Rocha was being protected by forces with heavy caliber weapons, police said.
The captured fugitive is accused of having headed an enormous cocaine network, which included production in the jungles of Bolivia, Colombia and Peru, and continued through to distribution on the continent and as far away as the United States and Europe.

The incident happened early on Saturday at the Power Ultra Lounge in Little Rock. Authorities say the shooting broke out following a dispute between rival gangs and they believe it was not a terror-related incident.
Officials say the 25 victims who suffered gunshot wounds are expected to survive, while three others suffered unrelated injuries. Two of the victims are at death's door, but are expected to survive.
Officials announced the nightclub will be shut down.
No arrests have been made, but officials believe more than one suspect may have been involved.

[All Africa] Zim-bob-wean President Bob Muggsy Mugabe Octogenarian President-for-Life of Zim-bob-we who turned the former Breadbasket of Africa into the African Basket Case... , 93, on Friday told unemployed youths to "go and herd cattle" in the rural areas amid a critical shortage of jobs in the southern African country.
During his election campaign of the 2013 polls, Mugabe promised Zim-bob-weans that his government would create more than 2.2 million jobs.
However, ars longa, vita brevis... latest statistics indicated that Zim-bob-we had a formal unemployment rate of around 80%.
Addressing his supporters at a rally at Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo, Mugabe said Zim-bob-wean youths who had no jobs should look for ideas so that they became entrepreneurs.
"We always hear youths from the (opposition Movement for Democratic Change) MDC saying that they do not have jobs. I say to them come to me and I will laugh at them first before telling them to go and herd cattle," said Mugabe speaking in the vernacular Shona language.

[South China Morning Post] It was second "freedom-of-navigation operation" conducted under President Donald Trump
The Stethem, a guided-missile destroyer, sailed within 12 nautical miles of Triton Island, part of the Paracel Islands in the South China Sea, the official said.
The operation was first reported by Fox News on Sunday.
It was the second "freedom-of-navigation operation," conducted during the presidency of Donald Trump, following a drill in late May in which a US warship sailed within 12 nautical miles of an artificial island built up by China in the South China Sea.
Twelve nautical miles marks the territorial limits recognised internationally. Sailing within those 12 miles is meant to show that the United States does not recognise territorial claims there.
"Unlike in the Spratlys, where China has created new artificial territory in the last several years, it has effectively controlled the Paracels since 1974," said Mira Rapp-Hooper, a South China Sea expert at the Centre for a New American Security. "It claims illegal straight baselines around the Paracels, and the [US operation] may have been contesting these."

[IsraelTimes] Thousands have been marching in solidarity with journalist-turned-politician Enis Berberoglu, sentenced to 25 years in jail for leaking classified info to a newspaper.
Ottoman Turkish President Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him... on Saturday accused the country’s main opposition party of siding with terrorism, as a three-week "march for justice" led by its chief neared its ending point of Istanbul.
Some analysts have seen the 450-kilometer (280 miles) trek from Ankara to Istanbul led by Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu as a significant challenge to Erdogan but the Ottoman Turkish strongman has regarded it with disdain.
Kilicdaroglu began the march on June 15 after former journalist turned CHP politician Enis Berberoglu was sentenced to 25 years in jail for leaking classified information to a newspaper.
Marching without party insignia and simply a sign with the word "justice" in Ottoman Turkish, he has been followed by thousands every day and plans to end the march on July 9 with a mass rally outside Berberoglu’s prison in the Istanbul district of Maltepe.
"If you start protests to protect Lions of Islam and those who support terrorism -- when it did not occur to you to take part in anti-terror demonstrations -- then you cannot convince anyone that your objective is justice," Erdogan said.
The president told a meeting of his ruling party that the line represented by the CHP "had gone beyond being a political opposition and taken on a different proportion."
Accusing the CHP of sympathizing with Kurdish gunnies and the alleged criminal mastermind of the July 15 failed coup, he said the road taken by Kilicdaroglu was "the way to Qandil and Pennsylvania".
The leadership of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) is based in the Qandil mountain of northern Iraq while the alleged coup criminal mastermind, the preacher Fethullah Gulen ... a Turkish preacher living in Pennsylvania whom the current govt of Turkey considers responsible for all the ills afflicting Turkey and possibly the entire world... , is based in Pennsylvania. He denies the allegations.
The march by Kilicdaroglu has rallied supporters concerned by the extent of the crackdown after the coup which has seen tens of thousands locked away Maw! They're comin' to get me, Maw! and even more lose their jobs.
The opposition leader was Saturday walking through the Akyazi district of Sakarya province on day 17 of the march, heading towards the town of Sakarya from where he will have a walk of around 150 kilometers (90 miles) to Istanbul.

At what generation do we all become 'indigenous people'?
[Al Jazeera] At least 55 UN peacekeepers are accused of sexual exploitation and abuse of civilians across UN missions around the globe since January 2017, new UN data show.
Data released late on Friday night also showed a new case of sexual exploitation was registered against Republic of Congo peacekeepers in the Central African Republic, less than 10 days after the UN announced the withdrawal of Congolese troops from the UN's mission over a string of allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse.
On Saturday, a UN spokesperson confirmed that a new allegation had been registered against the Congolese but declined to clarify if the recorded case of sexual exploitation took place before or after the stated withdrawal of the battalion.
"The allegation was recorded in June [...] an investigative process has been launched as per standard procedures," Sophie Boudre, a spokesperson for Department of Peacekeeping operations (DPKO), told Al Jazeera.

How many years does a UN investigation take? Are the children involved grown up yet?
And the article lacks a certain number of specifics concerning the "abuses". Male or female and age ? Orifices involved and number of times. And were the Blue helmets from Pakistan or Somewhere else...French perhaps? Were any animals involved ? Were the animals French? Monkeys or Poodles?
[National Council of Resistance of Iran] Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), met Mayor Rudy Giuliani on Friday, June 30, at the NCRI headquarters in Auvers-sur-Oise, northwest of Paris.
Mayor Giuliani pointed to the Iranian regime’s malign activities in the region, stressing that the mullahs are the source instability and crisis in the region, and have kept their grip on power in the past 38 years through widespread repression and blatant disregard for human rights at home and the export of extremism and terrorism abroad.

The decision to delay the plan for six months was made on the eve of a deadline set by Mattis’s predecessor, Ashton Carter, during Obama’s administration.

A lot of spare toilets to build and barracks to construct so the sleeping arrangements can be sorted out. And of course the Special Forces training program , not to mention the Marines.
And what to call the Nancy Boys platoon. And whether to integrate the nancy's into Bootcamp separately as individuals or to form them as separate units altogether and who will be their DI?
And the Insurance alone to cover life expectancy is a caution.
How would you like to be a Bruce or a Dwayne in Boot ? Or shipped to Afghanustan....provided you lived long enough to even get deployed.
Lots of MOS problems too...oh and don't stand near the helicopter gunship door without your monkey belt on.

...This was a horrifyingly bad idea from the word go. I have known some folks who have gone through the transgender process, and although they have all been good, decent people, they would NOT have made good soldiers, sailors, airmen, or Marines, no matter how well-intentioned their desire to serve.
Transitioning means - for lack of a better term - rewiring your brain on the fly, no matter how sure you are of what it is you're doing. On top of that, there are physical problems involved (aftereffects of surgery, hormone therapy, etc) that never go away. Putting people like this in a combat zone - and realistically, you know that's where it would have gone eventually - would have led to confusion and casualties. At some point, you would have had people deciding what to send to a firebase on a crowded convoy: medication or munitions...and you would have had people with no skin in the fight whatsoever demanding that they send the medications.
Chaos Actual made the right call, though I wish the President and the JCS had publicly endorsed it as well.

People concentrating on this are people who will never be able to focus on mission. It defeats the purpose of a Military.

The military is not a social experiment. Darwin frowns on 'suits' that fail to learn. There is no appeal from death, no advocates, no judges, no pols. Just death. The Go, No-Go station is final. What is reprehensible is that it endangers others for no purpose other than someone's virtue signalling.
