Hollywood actor Verne Troyer, who starred as Mini-Me in the Austin Powers films, is suing a website over a video of him having sex with a model. The star, who stands 2ft 8 ins tall, has filed a $20 million (£10 million) lawsuit claiming invasion of privacy and breach of copyright. He says the tape was stolen and has since ended up in the hands of the same film producer who distributed a notorious sex tape of hotel heiress Paris Hilton.
Mr Troyer, 39, is the latest in a long line of Hollywood celebrities to have their sex lives aired on the internet. He made the tape with a former girlfriend, an American model in her 20s.
Like a chihuahua and an Irish setter ...
Mr Troyer filed his lawsuit at a court in Los Angeles and also requested and injunction banning further distribution of the film.
The actor, who is Hollywood's smallest star and also a stunt man, was married briefly in 2004 to a yoga teacher. The following year he appeared on a US reality television show where he got drunk and urinated in the corner of a gym while riding naked on a scooter.
"Is that Charlie Sheen?"
"Nah, can't be, Charlie is taller."
His most famous film role has been as Mini-Me, a miniature clone of Dr Evil, played by Mike Myers, in the Austin Powers films. He appears in the second and third films of the trilogy - Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Austin Powers in Goldmember.
The actor also starred as Griphook the Goblin in the film of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

SHAMED supermodel Naomi Campbell has accused British Airways staff of calling her a "golliwog" during the row that led to her arrest. She came out fighting after appearing in court on Friday to plead guilty to attacking two policemen called to calm the fracas on board a transatlantic jet.
In a television interview, the hot-tempered catwalk queen claimed her foul-mouthed out burst-during which she kicked and spat at police - was provoked by a member of the airline staff racially abusing her. She said: "I was called a 'golliwog supermodel'. I don't think that's really fair, do you?
"I was called a racial name and that was my reaction - nothing to do with the police but from British Airways. I took it too far but I don't apologise to British Airways. I think they're disgusting because there are people still waiting for luggage. I have travelled with them for many years and I think they have been harsh."
British Airways flatly denied her claims yesterday with a spokesman saying: "We do not accept any allegations of racism."
Campbell went berserk when she was asked to leave a Heathrow to LA flight because her bag had gone missing during the Terminal Five chaos in April. She told police officers on the plane: "It is because I am a black woman, you are all racists. I am going to sue you. I am going to f*** you."
And she blasted BA Captain Miles Sutherland ranting: "I can't believe you have lostmy f****** bag. You are a racist, you wouldn't be doing this if I was white." The 38-year-old, who has a track record for violent outbursts, avoided jail as it was her first criminal conviction in the UK. Instead she was ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid community work.
Campbell lashed out at officers and staff who attempted to remove her from the plane, claiming that she was being targeted because she was black. She pleaded guilty at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court in west London to two counts of assaulting a police officer; one count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and using threatening, abusive words or behaviour to cabin crew on a flight.
Her community service order stands for 12 months. In addition she was told to pay compensation of s200 each to the police officers she assaulted, a further s150 compensation to the aircraft's captain Miles Sutherland, and fines totalling s2300.
BA'S STATEMENT: 'British Airways does not accept any allegations of racism - we are proud of our diversity. We have strict policies concerning dignity at work and have long-standing training programmes on diversity and inclusion.'

In unofficial military parlance of some countries which has become less common nowadays, the term "golliwog" was used to indicate a piece of equipment that has been tuned, upgraded, and possibly customised to the point where it is no longer similar to the stock item it started as.[citation needed] The term stems from the fact that although the Golliwog itself was black its standard form was featureless in a sense it was always represented as decorated smartly with, for example, ribbons and bows. It could be said to be found always dressed up in finery; no Golliwog was ever seen dressed conservatively.

I'd have paid $10 to see her ruffed, cuffed and forcibly subdued on the way off the plane. I'd pay an extra five to see them put a few lumps on her head with a nightstick.
Her career is in the toilet anyway; she'll soon be the replacement for Whitney Houston as the leading example of the "rich black chick who blew it all with drugs" genre.

It seems to be common for black criminals to claim that they were provoked by a white person calling them a racial epithet. Claiming that blacks can be provoked to violence by mere words would seem to be wrong message to send.

Some 50,000 fewer passengers are expected to use Amsterdam Schiphol airport, one of Europe's busiest, this summer on account of a Dutch environmental tax on flights, it was reported Saturday.
"We're expected zero growth in 2008, and in fact a decrease (in passenger numbers) in July and August," an airport spokesman was quoted as saying by the domestic ANP news agency.
The Netherlands is the only country that levies an environmental tax on flights departing the country -- 11.25 euros per passenger (17.75 dollars) for European destinations and 45 euros for intercontential points.
With higher fuel prices pushing up air fares worldwide, travel industry experts say the tax will hurt business at Schiphol and see many Dutch travellers go to nearby German airports instead.
A regional leader of outlawed Biplobi Communist Party (BCP) was killed yesterday in a shootout between police and his cohorts at Houspur village in Kushtia.
No word on whether he was a new Biplobi or an old Biplobi ...

'Hey, why don't youse guys surrender so's we don't have to kill youse on the spot?'

Whar's greenie? And for that matter where the nuggets?
HAIPHONG, Vietnam - John McCain has an unusual endorsement from the Vietnamese jailer who says he held him captive for about five years as a POW and now considers him a friend. 'If I were an American voter, I would vote for Mr. John McCain,' Tran Trong Duyet said Friday, sitting in his living room in the northern city of Haiphong, surrounded by black-and-white photos of a much younger version of himself and former Vietnam War prisoners.
At the same time, he denies prisoners of war were tortured. Despite detailed POW accounts and physical wounds, Duyet claims the presumed Republican presidential nominee made up beatings and solitary confinement in an attempt to win votes.
His statements seem to echo the communist leadership's overall line on America: It insists the torture claims are fabricated, but that Vietnam now considers the U.S. a friend and wants to lay the past to rest. Duyet said one of the reasons he likes McCain for president is the candidate's willingness to forgive and look to the future.

NEW DELHI: An alleged Nazi war criminal involved in the World War II genocide of Jews was arrested in Goa following his attempts to sell an 18th century antique piano stolen from a German museum.
Officials from a German intelligence agency and Indias Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) arrested 88-year old Johann Bach from a forest near Goan border where he had sought refuge. Bach has been shifted to an undisclosed location and will be soon taken to Mumbai to be extradited to Germany.
He remained at large for more than 50 years since the fall of the Nazi party. The German intelligence agency alleged he was responsible for the genocide of more than 12,000 Jews.
The German intelligence agency had him under surveillance for the last six months after it received information that an old foreigner was trying to sell an antique piano in Goa. A similar piano was found missing from a German museum situated near a concentration camp of which Bach was in charge.
Bach was hiding in Goa for the last few months under a fake name. The preliminary interrogation has revealed that he has previously stayed in Argentina, Bulgaria, Yemen and Canada before coming to India, according to sources.
