[NEWYORK.CBSLOCAL] They call themselves street performers — costumed, anonymous and not always well behaved.
As CBS 2's Dave Carlin reported, there has been a string of crimes in character. The latest alleged incident happened Friday night when a Spider-Man was arrested for allegedly groping a New Yorker, police said.
Moussa Rabaoui, 22, of Queens, is accused of grabbing a woman's breasts and backside after putting his arms around her. He was charged with misdemeanor forcible touching.
Now, the president of the Times Square Alliance is calling for regulations on costumed characters, saying they've gotten out of control.
"In the last 10 days alone, we've seen two Statues of Liberty arrested, a Spider-Man convicted of harassing a tourist, and now a third character arrested for groping a woman in Times Square," Tim Tompkins said in a statement on Saturday. "The situation is out of control and a licensing and regulatory scheme must be put in place." It wasn't all that long ago that Times Square was a seedy area where you wouldn't want to bring your kids unless they were into peep shows. Giuliani cleaned it up, but after that everybody voted "independent" for Nanny Bloomberg and now they're back to voting the straight Tammany ticket. Tell the kids the peep shows will be back, to go with the costumed Arabs groping Mom.

I'm more concerned about the crimes and transgressions of the group in the big grey building on Times Square. They're the ones causing the damage.
i.e. 'The NY Times'

This is reserved for our ersatz nobility, like Bill Clinton in the White House. How dare he assume droit du seigneur reserved for his betters.

You will not make any waves, disagree or complain. Otherwise you will be persecuted until you can't make a living and taxed until you can't pay. Then you go to jail.
A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

this agency is a child of the Dodd-Frank Wall st reform and consumer protection act
it has overlapping responsibilities with the SEC, Dept of Treasury, credit union administration, FDIC, Fin Industry Regulatory Authority and several others -
if they limited themselves to putting out consumer advisories, they would be mildly useful, but that limited agenda doesn't allow for power, bigger budgets, etc.

The Germany government, that was for a time insistent on bringing its entire $141 billion gold reserve home from New York and London, has concluded that stashing half its bullion abroad is prudent after all.
The Bundesbank, Germanys central bank, sent a delegation to the New York Feds vault in 2012 for spot checks on the hoard. As the golds guardian, the Frankfurt-based Bundesbank is obliged to ensure its safety. And they believed Obama when he told them, "When you want your gold, you can have your gold." BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Its my view that the gold reserves should be stored wherever they might be needed in an emergency, Juergen Hardt, a member of Merkel's CDU, told reporters in May. Theres no evidence that German gold at the New York Fed has been tampered with, he said. Is there reliable evidence that the "German gold at the New York Fed" still exists? The top men of Germany's central bank seem to think so. Top men!
German gold reserves, the second-biggest in the world after those of the U.S., totaled 3,386.4 tons on March 31, according to World Gold Council data. Due to German postwar history, the biggest part is stored at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York; the rest is in London, Paris and Frankfurt.
After World War II and the export revival of West Germanys economic miracle in the 1950s, the central bank accumulated dollars it swapped for gold at the Federal Reserve. With Germany split between capitalist west and the communist East German state until 1990, storing most of the gold abroad was a way to keep it out of Soviet reach during the Cold War.

If we thought our gold was no longer there we'd simply (slowly) sell it (and buy from different sources).
Much easier.

No doubt the honest walls street vault lords show each country the same pile of gold painted lead as 'their country's gold'. Merely change the little country flag on the wall as the stooges walk to the vault.

Over the Fed's doors is a famous inscription :"Abandon all hope ye who enter here".
(I think that's the FED...)

..basically, the same management team. There might be a ownership dispute but Congress hasn't gotten around to granting copyright perpetuity, yet. I'm sure they're working on it now.

Invented by Dante, it's public domain.
Sorry but that kind of speculation about gold being replaced by lead is on the same level as the chemtrails conspiracy.

[Washington Post] The birthday boy, turning 84, stood near the back of the room beneath white and gold balloons as friends, allies and supporters lined up for photos. Between photos, he stole swigs of the Corona Light gripped tightly in his left hand as the upbeat sounds of a local Latin band echoed off the dark walls.
The crowded fundraiser this month was a departure from Rep. Charlie Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Rangel Congressman-for-Life from Harlem, who became what 20 terms in Congress turns you into ... 's legendary birthday bashes of the past, which often were headlined by the likes of Aretha Franklin ...The Queen of Soul. She denies ever having been in a fistfight with Patti Labelle... and Dionne Warwick and attended by New York's black political royalty former New York City mayor David Dinkins ...the former mayor of New York. He sez he lost to Rudy Giuliani in 1993 because of racism, which is pervasive in places like Manhattan... , the civil rights hustler Al Sharpton ...Tawana Brawley's spiritual advisor... and singer Harry Belafonte.
This year, many of the speakers were lesser-known Dominican activists and political strategists. The headliner was Dominican entertainer Frederick Martinez, also known as "El Pacha," a popular Spanish-language radio and television host.
Those changes to the guest list tell almost the entire story of the political peril that threatens to end one of the iconic careers in American politics.
Over his 44 years in office, Rangel, "the congressman from Harlem," became one of best-known political figures in American politics and a defining voice in the nation's black politics. Notice that he's not threatened with losing his seat because he's so old he used to date God's grandmother. Nor is he in danger of losing his seat because of being censured by the House ethics committee, which really takes some doing.

The demographics are changing in Harlem. More and more Hispanics are moving in. Is that old scallywag morphing into a Hispanic for re-election?
#4
...just part of the 'under the bus' for that old special interest group of the Donks, now in pursuit of Hispanic voters. When you sale your soul, things like that happen.
[NYPost] As Bill Clinton went on about his managerial experience, Obama began playing with his BlackBerry under the table, making it plain that he wasn't paying attention to anything Clinton had to say. He was intentionally snubbing Clinton. Others around the table noticed Obama thumbing his BlackBerry, and the atmosphere turned even colder than before. heh...

Well planned and well timed out for Hillary's run. Speaking of distancing herself from Obama, well done.

With raisins so shrivelled and shrunk from disuse,
And nibbling on kale and arugula mousse,
It is nice to get loose
From beneath her caboose:
The Blacker the Berry, the sweeter the juice!
A deployed U.S. sailor faced the prospect of losing custody of his daughter because he could not appear at a hearing today. The judge in the case has now ordered a delay, saying she didn't know Matthew Hindes is deployed in the Pacific Ocean. Oh Really? He filed for a delay which she denied. Apparently she isn't even reading the briefs filed in her court. Or else she is simply lying to cover her ass. That's not necessarily an "or" situation...

I looked up the phone number of the court, called the Judge's court clerk last week who referred me to voice mail. I called back and said I was not leaving a voice mail to tell the Judge to step down right now. I hope I was just one of many to bother calling.

Why do I think sometimes that programs such as Obamacare are just huge statist money laundering schemes? A single payer system would have just made it easier and worse. I try not to have these bad thoughts but they just keep coming back.

I can think of no better argument for the abolishment of the IRS than this fellow Koskinen. His obstructive comments and facial expressions exude contempt, insolence, and disdain.
#3
Mr. Koskinen is a long time Democratic party operative and major funder. Wonder if anyone's looked at his taxes lately?
No, actually I don't wonder at all.

Taxes? No. Unfettered feet thrashing wildly from 18 inches off the ground, and the evacuation and bowels and bladder..... please call me immediately. I'd gladly purchase a ticket to watch, and picnic on the grounds.

Koskinen Democrat Donor to the tune of about $100,000. Former IRS Commissioners Schulman and Miller were "well placed" also. There has been quite a bit of turnover in Commissioners at the IRS. Makes it easier for Commissioners to say: "I don't know. I wasn't here at the time. Wasn't on my watch." More and more distance between smoking guns and those at the top.

Gowdy is a former prosecutor. I expect he knows every trick in the book these kind of people will use to attack him, and I would hope he is well prepared.
#10
By the way, it now appears they have Koskinene caught in 2 specific instances of lying under oath. When will the GOP grow a pair and prosecute these Obama administration liars?
Sometime between slim and none. And Slim left town.
I would hope they don't until after November. The press could convince too many people that this is a witch hunt. If the Repubs reclaim the Senate, I would hope they would go after this whole criminal organization through the RICO act.
[BREITBART] Rep. Henry Cuellar ...Dem representative for Texas' 28th congressional district, serving since 2005. He was a professor at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) in Laredo. He has positioned himself as a strong advocate for education. Prior to being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives he was a member of the Texas House 1987 to 2001.... (D-TX), stated in an interview on Laura Ingraham's radio show on Monday, that the undocumented Democrats who have been released from detention centers across the southwestern United States will not show up for their court dates, and thus will not be sent back.
He estimated "over 8,000 individuals were released in the last two months" were released with court dates in south Texas alone, and the total number of illegals released is "over 40,000" and argued "after you travel thousands of miles, you pay of dollars, went through a very difficult situation, you get over here and they tell you to appear in 90 days, I would say the vast majority are not going to show up."
Cuellar added that he was "disappointed with the [Obama] administration," and said that the influx of undocumented Democrats has been going on for over a year and the White House "could have seen that increase coming."

The answer to that is simple, when they are first captured, gather all biometric data needed to reconfirm their identity later. If they don't show up and are caught again, they should be immediately executed as a spy/terrorist/whatever. No ifs ands or buts. They are not citizens or legal immigrants and therefore have no rights.

They should be treated like foreign brides, assign them to any of a long list of bleeding hearts for amnesty and tell them 'they' have to financially support them till they're 18. Given numerous jurisdictions deal the same way with men who years later find out "you're not the father" but still have to pay child support, I think we have a way to address two issues. See how they feel when it comes directly out of their personal income rather than the collective.
