She says harassment followed by rape, he says an affair and she got mad when he asked her to run off with him, deserting both unwitting spouses. Either way, his pants were down, always unwise with someone not one's wife.
WASHINGTON--The Pentagon has concluded that computer sabotage coming from another country can constitute an act of war, a finding that for the first time opens the door for the U.S. to respond using traditional military force.
The Pentagon's first formal cyber strategy, unclassified portions of which are expected to become public next month, represents an early attempt to grapple with a changing world in which a hacker could pose as significant a threat to U.S. nuclear reactors, subways or pipelines as a hostile country's military. And for the money quote!
In part, the Pentagon intends its plan as a warning to potential adversaries of the consequences of attacking the U.S. in this way. "If you shut down our power grid, maybe we will put a missile down one of your smokestacks," said a military official.
DHAKA, Bangladesh - A 40-year-old Bangladeshi woman cut off a man's penis during an alleged attempted rape and took it to a police station as evidence, police in a remote part of the country said Monday.
The woman, a married mother of three, was attacked Saturday night while she was sleeping in her shanty in Jhalakathi district, some 120 miles south of Dhaka, officers said.
"As he tried to rape her, the lady cut his penis off with a knife. She then wrapped up the penis in a piece of polythene and brought it to the Jhalakathi police station as evidence of the crime," police chief Abul Khaer said.

Glenmore; that's evidence. (kinda takes the issue beyond denial, which is necessary since it requires the testimony of 4 adult muslim males to convict one of their own or rape)

Hope she washed her hands afterwards - no telling where that thing had been.

Can the nation ever recover from weinergate (or Weiner for that matter)?
In early 2008, Libya's sovereign-wealth fund controlled by Col. Moammar Gadhafi gave $1.3 billion to Goldman Sachs Group to sink into a currency bet and other complicated trades. The investments lost 98% of their value, internal Goldman documents show.

It is very curious that all the media, lame and otherwise, have ignored Mandela's closed relationship with his "dear brother leader" upon whom he conferred SA's highest honor, the Order of Good Hope. Hmmmmm
[Bangla Daily Star] A 'listed criminal' was beaten to death by a mob at Korail slum in the capital's Mohakhali yesterday. Nice going, mob... The dear departed, Mosharraf Hossain alias Mosha, 32, was a runaway accused in 10 cases, including two for murder and two for assault on the police, claimed Mohammad Shah Alam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gulshan Police Station. So Mosha's mother didn't love him... However, The wishy-washy However... family members of the dear departed claimed that he was beaten to death following a long standing feud over ownership of some shanties with a ward level Swechchhasebok League leader's men.
The OC said a team of police cordoned off Korail slum around 11:00am after being informed that Mosharraf and his gang were at the slum.
Spider senses tingling at the proximity of the law enforcers, Mosharraf took shelter in a shanty while the other gang members managed to flee the scene. ... as though they had never been...
At one stage, he left the shanty and dived into the lake water. Angry slum dwellers dragged him from water and beat him indiscriminately around 12:00noon leaving him critically injured. "He's mortally wounded!"
Doctors declared Mosharraf dead around 1:00pm when he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Did they really need a doctor to do that?
Police claimed Mosharraf used to collect tolls from the slum and adjacent areas.
Brother of the dear departed, Rafiqul Islam, who was also general secretary of BNP ward no-19, said their family owns around a hundred shanties in the slum and also runs electricity supply business there.
But the Swechchhasebok League leader's men had been trying to grab the properties since this government took power. The leader's men also filed several false cases against Mosharraf with different cop shoppes, he claimed.

So we gonna lay around the shanty, mama
And get beaten by a mob
U.S. single-family home prices dropped in March, dipping below their 2009 low, as the housing market remained bogged down by inventory and weak demand, a closely watched survey said Tuesday.
The S&P/Case Shiller composite index of 20 metropolitan areas declined 0.2 percent in March from February on a seasonally adjusted basis, in line with economists' expectations.
The price index was below the low seen in April 2009 during the financial crisis. The glut of houses for sale, foreclosures, tight credit and weak demand have kept the housing market on the ropes even as other areas of the economy start to recover. They keep repeating that last part, hoping it will fool people to believe it is true.
Unexpectedly, the story didn't use the word unexpectedly. I think the MSM is onto us.
1. A term used by Donk shills to cover repeatedly for failure of their chosen one.
2. An indication that writers live in a very small cluster of contacts without any concept of the outside world.
3. Total ignorance on the subject matter.

The most-listened to DC-area radio on the way home tonight said prices were back down to 2002 levels.
Grim.

For years and years and years they kept telling us that we need "affordable housing". But now when it really is starting to get a little more affordable they're squealing like stuck pigs. Odd.

The press, as expected, demonstrates that is it in the tank for Obama.
This is what people call a buying opportunity if you are in the market and have credit.

Exactly. This is the RECOVERY. House prices were far too high. The crazy thing is that people thought house inflation was a good thing!
Instapundit had this thing about saying the government tried to copy the status of middle class success with out understanding its causes... Higher House prices are a ONLY symptom of increasing middle class productivity/wages...
High house prices without any productivity increase is just inflation and a credit bubble trying to hide the damage done to the economy by taxation (including the ludicrously wrongly named "fair" tax).

How is that Phil_B?
I love the idea of homes becoming more affordable, but the rich arent losing their primary residences to banks owned by...the rich.

let the prices keep falling so we do have affordable a housing again....and boo hoo on those that took out second and third's to cover their toy's and vacations...the bubble was obvious ten years ago yet people keep on the binge...

Not everyone had a second or third mortgage. Some folks got divorced and ended up with a house they otherwise couldn't afford on a single salary but couldn't sell. A lot of people got screwed by this deflation and the cavalier attitude comes off as cold and ignorant.
If confirmed by the Senate, Dempsey would be in the key position of being Obama's senior military adviser overseeing the drawdown of troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He would also work with incoming Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, who still needs to be confirmed by the Senate, in establishing priorities for cutting defense spending.
Dempsey has extensive combat experience. He served as the commander of the 1st Armored Division in Baghdad in 2003, and then helped train Iraqi security forces in a subsequent tour of duty in Iraq. He also has served as acting commander of the U.S. Central Command overseeing U.S. military operations in the Middle East, Persian Gulf and Central Asia.
The selection of Dempsey is unusual partly because he took over as head of the Army only on April 11. In that brief period of time, Dempsey has earned strong praise for what is considered to be his outgoing personality. Among other things, the general receives a list of soldiers both in the United States and overseas every week and calls them to get their direct opinions on life in the Army.
Iran delayed the arrival of Angela Merkel's plane as she flew to India by briefly closing its airspace, thus sparking a diplomatic row with Germany. Merkel was held up as she flew overnight for a meeting on Tuesday with India's prime minister. Before receiving permission to cross Iran, her plane was forced to circle over Turkey for two hours. Germany's foreign minister said that hindering Merkel's route was "absolutely unacceptable".
German government sources in Berlin said Merkel's plane was only allowed to enter Iranian airspace after "intensive diplomatic intervention in Berlin and Tehran."
