I thought Robert Gibbs held the position of White House Jester.
Questioned by David Horowitz, Jumanah Albahri, a Muslim student (and Muslim Student Association member) at the University of California at San Diego, recently endorsed a new genocide of Jews -- thereby giving voice to the real agenda behind the land-for-peace rhetoric that Palestinian spokesmen generally retail in America. Aware of the enormity of what she had admitted, Albahri tried to quell the controversy by issuing a statement full of evasions, half-truths, and claims that she was the true victim. Now she has compounded that with a letter to the UCSD student newspaper, the Guardian, complaining about biased press coverage!
Whatever else you can say about Jumanah Albahri, you've got to admit she's got chutzpah. Got a little Jew in ya?

The new letter is a tour de force of self-righteous victimhood, demonstrating that Albahri has been a dutiful and attentive student of her Islamic supremacist and Leftist mentors, since both camps make such liberal use of this tactic. She begins with a double ad hominem, as the girl who endorsed genocide of the Jews complained that the Guardian's "abysmal coverage of Justice in Palestine Week and the Horowitz fiasco reeks of Hearstian and Horowitzian journalism."

But Joe Sestak didn't do that.
So here's what I think. I think the fact that Joe Sestak -- even after being called a liar by Robert Gibbs -- has not come forward and made a statement to the authorities about felony corruption he claims to have witnessed says something about Joe Sestak. And what it says is this: Joe Sestak is either a coward, a liar, a political sycophant or -- and this is where I'd put my money -- all three of these things....

Mr. Uber Pig is a dullard. First, Gibbs has not refuted Sestaks claim. Gibbs has only given the non-denial denial that WH lawyers have assured him nothing inappropriate has occurred. Second, until there is some formal inquiry Sestak is under no obligation to fill in the blanks. There are plenty of reasons not to support Sestak but to call him a liar and coward over this is bullshit.

The Whitehouse, DOJ, or Congress is not going to investigate this. The best that can happen is that voters will be so fed up with this kind of Chicago sleeze exported to PA is that it will drive voters to Toomey and he will win.

This entire affair needs some daylight shone upon it, as somebody is either outlying or skirting the edges ("I did not have sex with that woman")
Personally, I think the WH is the one that needs to eat the bar of soap. And yes, it is unlikely that there will be any invenstigations done ( maybe after November, but not holding my breath).
First, Obama cannot give the speech without changing the underlying policy that necessitated it in the first place.
Second, Obama is unlikely to risk a less-than-admiring reception from the Knesset...
Third, a Knesset speech would invite comparisons with George W. Bush's Knesset address... Obama cannot approximate Bush's address, because he does not share Bush's perspective.
Fourth, even if Obama gave a comparable speech, it would not be believed. His actions reneging on his pledge of an undivided Jerusalem; failing to honor U.S. understandings regarding settlements; ignoring the commitments in the 2004 Bush letter, given in exchange for the Gaza withdrawal; failing to visit Israel when he visited Turkey, failing again when he visited Egypt, and failing again over the past 12 months; slurring Israel in his Cairo speech...represent a record that cannot be corrected merely with a speech, even if it begins with Let me be clear.'
