[FoxNews) Vice President Harris was brutally lampooned over her habit of using "word salads" in a skit on "The Daily Show" on Tuesday.
"Daily Show" correspondent Desi Lydic joked that the VP's sometimes odd remarks were actually inspired by her "holistic thought adviser, Dahlia Rose Hibiscus," played by Lydic.
"It means that I am the one by whom the thoughts are being advised, from a place of advisement. And then once advised, communicated, holistically," she says in the skit.
[ZeroHedge] Back in March, when reading the mammoth, 1050-page bill that was meant to avert government shutdown, but was yet another pork filled free-for-all bonanza authorizing $1.7 trillion in in discretionary spending, we stumbled upon something that was truly shocking: after Biden singlehandedly drained half of the US strategic petroleum reserve to avoid obliteration for Democrats in the 2022 midterm elections, Congress has snuck in a provision that would sell off and shutter the Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve, a move that while perhaps keeps gas prices lower for a day or two, would also leave the entire continental northeast defenseless to any true environmental catastrophe or shock. We were so dismayed by the inclusion of this particular text, we wondered if it hadn't been put there solely for the benefit of America's enemies...
We were wrong: earlier today, just two months after the bill was signed by Biden into law, the panicking administration announced that it would sell the nearly 1 million barrels of gasoline in the US managed stockpile in northeastern states, the Department of Energy said, effectively closing the reserve.
The department created the Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve (NGSR) in 2014 after Superstorm Sandy left motorists scrambling for fuel. But, according to some megabrains hoping to justify the dumping of gas so its price drops for a few weeks ahead of the summer and avoid even more anger aimed at the president, storing refined fuel is costlier than storing crude oil, so closing the reserve was included in U.S funding legislation signed by President Joe Biden in March.
Bids to buy the gasoline located at the two NGSR storage sites in Port Reading, NJ (900,000 bbl) and South Portland, ME (98,824 bbl), are due on May 28 and the Treasury Department's general funds gets proceeds from the sale. Incidentally, the proceeds from the reserve liquidation - which will amount to roughly $125 million gross (and far less net) - is roughly how much the government spends every 15 minutes!
[FoxNews] Newly released messages from the House Ways and Means Committee appear to show Hunter Biden proposing a meeting in New York City between the boss of a Chinese energy company and Joe Biden, the former vice president at the time, along with Joe's brother, Jim Biden.
"Can you meet this evening early," Hunter Biden asked Yadong Liu, CEO of CEFC Global Strategic Holdings in a poorly punctuated text message the evening of Dec. 12, 2017.
"My father will be in New York also and he wants me to attend the Sandy Hook memorial service with him and I would like him to meet you along with my uncle and then you and I can talk let me know if that works."
"I'm sorry for the late notice I got off the red eye in Baltimore from LA and take a little nap before I got his message," Hunter added.
Yadong told Hunter "No problem" and asked to let him "know when and where to meet."

We can all see Joe’s current lack of mental capacity. It is hard to project back where he might have been in 2017 time frame. My guess is that Joe was able to lie, make promises, overstate his importance and bully people. I base this on his public speech about getting the Ukrainian prosecutor fired.

[NYPost] Where's the resignations in disgrace and removal of security credentials from the 51 assholes that signed that Agitprop?
It’s already been confirmed as 100% real eight ways from Sunday, but in case anyone still needed proof that the Hunter Biden laptop is real, look no further than . . . the Biden Justice Department.
Yes, special counsel David Weiss is going to submit the laptop as evidence against Hunter in his upcoming gun trial, per a filing made Wednesday.
The irony is all the more delicious given that Weiss is best known for working as point-man on “Big Guy” Joe’s effort to make sure the first son faced no real punishment.

I guess the DOJ couldn’t hide this any longer. In addition to the New York Post article, a report on the Biden laptop was published by an organization titled Marco Polo, a 501c3 organization devoted to exposing crimes and corruption.

[DC] More on this story from yesterday. I'd investigate him just for that jacket
The CIA appeared to instruct the Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) for Delaware, Lesley Wolf, to block an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) team’s investigation into Hunter Biden from using his benefactor, Kevin Morris, as a witness, IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley said in an affidavit the House Ways and Means Committee released Wednesday.
Shapley, as a lead investigator for the IRS Criminal Division, was heading a probe into Biden in August 2021 when Wolf informed him that she and DOJ Tax Attorney Jack Morgan had been summoned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia. Wolf, Morgan and the CIA discussed Hunter Biden’s associate and benefactor, Kevin Morris, Shapley said in the affidavit.
Shapley and his team were considering using Morris as a witness for their case against Biden, but Wolf apparently shut the possibility down.
"AUSA Wolf stated that they were provided a classified briefing in relation to Mr. Morris and as a result we could no longer pursue him as a witness," Shapley stated. (RELATED: DOJ Blocking Testimony From Key Officials Involved With Hunter Biden Investigation, House Report Says)
Morris has been a generous donor to Biden, buying 11 of his paintings and loaning him at least $5 million for tax debts and to cover personal expenses, Republican Kentucky Rep. James Comer revealed in a January press release.
Shapley asked Wolf to give him a classified briefing on the information she learned that prompted her to eliminate Morris as a viable witness, but she failed to share any information with him, Shapley said.
"Although AUSA Wolf initially appeared to be receptive to facilitating a briefing for me on the information, she ignored multiple attempts by me to arrange the briefing," Shapley claimed in the affidavit.
Wolf, upon her return from the meeting in Langley, appeared to flaunt agency-branded merchandise she acquired at their headquarters, according to Shapley.

Having the CIA able to block prosecution just makes carveouts for illegality like Epstein Enterprises. The end result is damaged women, damaged kids and politicians answerable to the most evil among us. How does that serve our interest?

[Ballotpedia] Looking at the GA Elections Democrat (LSD) polling questions and the percentages of votes for each. It is clear many LSD agenda ideas are contrary to common logic and practical application in a real world enviroment.
In one question they plant the idea that using State PRISONERS for roadside clean-up, is akin to Slavery.
In another they rename Abortion, "reproductive freedom".
In another the purpose Same Day Voter registration?
In another Great Firearm controls.
"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."
Seems clear to me. It's judicial interpreation which does not match the text that is at question. Interesting how the judiciary seems to ignore the amendment process to reword these things.

I asked some guys about this, knowing that Texas has long run prison farms, with prison labor. They also have mechanical shops.
I am told that in the joint, you are provided basic upkeep and food. If you want anything else, it has to paid for by "commisary account". That covers snacks, gum, etc (but no smoking).
If you have friends on the outside, they can put money in your account, up to a certain point. Or you can work labor jobs to earn money into your account.
I also understand a couple of years ago, TDCJ was leasing prisoners to a company that ran a phone bank for credit card sales. Just who you want to give your CC info to.

[NYPOST] Another right-leaning county in eastern Oregon has voted to secede from the Democrat-run state and join neighboring Idaho, according to reports.
Crook County residents passed the measure by a 53% majority Tuesday, making it the 13th county in the state to sign onto the movement known as "Greater Idaho," NewsNation reported.
"The voters of eastern Oregon have spoken loudly and clearly about their desire to see border talks move forward," said the Greater Idaho movement’s executive director Matt McCaw.
"With this latest result in Crook County, there’s no excuse left for the Legislature and Governor to continue to ignore the people’s wishes."

Next civil war won't be between Red/Blue states. It will be blue urban areas vs everyone else. I suspect a lot of state boundaries will be altered in the end.
#4
After the 17th Amendment ended state selection of U.S. Senators (Federalist No. 62. George Mason argued that state legislative selection gave states the power of self-defense against the federal government.) the Electoral College is all that ensures every state has a political voice. If the communists ever succeed in disestablishing it, the entire nation will become a tax plantation to serve the 40 urban sumps that are flooded with the feral demokrat base.

In the process of going from a territory to a state, the boundaries get set in stone. I can’t see the Supreme Court taking this up.

If I remember my civics class correctly, Congress establishes a territory to become a state, so therefore the argument can be made that it'll take Congress to establish new state boundaries. Anyone?
This is standard stuff for Democrats. Why would anyone assume RFK, Jr. is any different? Because someone told him to repeat populist talking points to try to steal votes from Trump? It's a trick. Don't fall for it. "NPR is not liberal, it's the truth" is a flat-out lie and we know from the lips of the NPR CEO herself that the truth is a "distraction" that can get in the wy of getting things done.
Another clip has surfaced of RFK Jr. trashing red states as uneducated and hateful, implying they need NPR & other left-wing stations to educate them
"I was in Alabama 2 weeks ago...They had 5 stations & all of them were really poisonous racial stuff—stuff you wouldn’t believe... pic.twitter.com/sTHRna1jNy

RFK Jr is not attractive to non-communists, but he has no love for the DS. In a clean primary system he would have beat out senile Biden for the Dem nomination. None of our current system is clean.
He and Stein do give the communists a Neapolitan selection on the ballot. Pollsters say that he hurts Trump. Maybe he does in Oregon. RFK hurts Biden in swing states. It makes cheating harder both with respect to numbers and with respect to security. There is more likely to be an RFK supporter inside the cheat machine than a Trump supporter

RFK, Jr.is a Dem despite what he might run as. He would hurt Biden more than Trump. Unlike the 2020 election, The Big Steal needs to be controlled in 2024. None of the crooked shenanigans like the last election.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The FDA is being sued for allegedly ignoring evidence that anti-depressants leave patients' sex lives permanently ruined - even years after stopping the meds.
Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) drugs like Prozac and Zoloft began carrying a label warning telling users they may cause erectile dysfunction, low libido, vaginal dryness and trouble orgasming only after patients began complaining of sexual side effects to their doctors in the 80s and 90s.
But thousands of former patients say they have been left completely asexual, numb below the waist, and unable to enjoy sex or sustain romantic relationships. Some patients have even experienced shrinkage of their genitals.
The FDA is now being sued by a team of scientists who say the agency has ignored their petition asking for a warning about permanent sexual side effects since 2018 and is asking the agency to warn doctors and patients about the long-term risks.

This explains a lot about the life choices and attitudes of folks taking these as a result of depression induced by scary things promulgated by government, 'focus groups' and media (all compensated by Drug Companies, of course).

As we also have a record number of women in their 30s who are unmarried, childless, and alone. Conversely, in that same category, are the men who are resorting to ever more perverted situations in order to 'get off'.
Butker is right.
I also recommend Critical Drinker's take on the movie Falling Down. It is spot. on.

modern western "elites" politics are the consequence of widespread use of antidepressants?
Possibly a contribution. But the main cause of our modern Left was a memetic weapon unleashed by the Soviet Union on the West that took root and has grown and festered for years. But that is a rant for another day.
tl;dr: Senator Joe McCarthy may have been a dick, but he was also right.

I'd go with 'as a means' for sure. These are the AWFLs and Dudes in the Girls Room.
Watch that video from yesterday made by that cheerleader and tell me she isn't just totally popped out. She got the upper user's crazy leg in her entire body, moving around like one of those wind sock things advertising used cars.

If you are sane, you missed the whole "Stuck in the Forest with a Man or a Bear?" and the AWFL trendies were like, "Bear because men are dangerous." and the memers replied with the bear returning the woman because its sick of her shit...hilarious.

The FDA sold the Covid lie, they sold Ivermectin as horse paste and let tens of thousands die with zero treatment. The FDA says sugar frosted flakes are better and higher on the food pyramid than steak and eggs... Anyone that listens to the FDA deserves what they get. The FDA is a political arm with no master but their own.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
