One apartment resident claimed Arnold was screaming, "You guys get out here, come out here, everyone get out of this building right now."
Eighty-seven-year-old apartment resident Lois Hicks came out to try to calm Arnold down then fled back into her apartment after seeing the rifle he was allegedly holding. Arnold allegedly followed her and shot her dead inside her residence.
Arnold was apparently shooting at other apartments too, and one of the other residents grabbed a hunting rifle and killed Arnold.
40/29 News notes that no injuries to additional residents were reported.

[NYPOST] A Florida woman crashed a children’s birthday party and allegedly raped a 17-year-old boy — in front of another child, authorities said.
Jessica Rae Good, 43, was arrested Wednesday after the teen told a staffer at his high school that he was sexually assaulted over the weekend at a home in Port Charlotte after a birthday bash, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
Good had been out drinking with a friend before crashing the celebration for another teen on May 9 when her buddy went to bed, authorities said.
"After returning home intoxicated, Good continued to ’hang out’ with the juveniles while allegedly making extremely inappropriate sexual comments and providing the 17-year-old victim with alcohol," sheriff officials said in a statement.
A 12-year-old girl at the party told deputies she was asleep on a bean bag in the home when she was awoken by sounds of two people having sex.
The girl, who was just a foot away from Good and the 17-year-old, said the teen whispered to her to help him, according to an arrest report obtained by the Port Charlotte Sun.
The boy later told deputies that Good forced herself on him after he fell asleep, claiming he was unable to push the woman off him due to her size, the arrest report states. Good is listed at 250 pounds in jail records. "I thought we were having a threesome!"
At one point, the boy got up to use the bathroom, where he vomited, the 12-year-old girl told deputies. The pair continued having sex and Good then got her belongings and left the home, according to the report.
Good told Sherlocks she had "blacked out" and claimed to not remember most of the illicit sexual contact, the arrest report states.
It’s illegal in Florida for an adult to have sex with a minor, even if the activity is consensual — although some exceptions exist, sheriff officials said.

Kanica and Kenesha tree the town. [WMBF News] MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) — Police have identified the two woman charged in connection with a shooting Monday afternoon in Myrtle Beach.
According to information from the Myrtle Beach Police Department, 27-year-old Kanica Ashton was charged with discharging a firearm within the city, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Also arrested was 26-year-old Kenesha Sanders, who was charged with giving a false name and address, according to the MBPD.
The charges stem from shots being fired Monday in the area of Yaupon Drive and 12th Avenue South around 12 p.m.
A police report states that officers were called to the area outside of the Seat Mist Conference Center where they said suspects were driving a red-colored vehicle and "shooting a gun out of the sunroof."
The report shows that while officers were detaining one of the suspects, they were very irate and used "multiple fighting words, vulgar and racist statements in front of the public walking by."
Well, it is the Quickie Mart. [Yahoo News] The manager of a Georgia gas station is accused of sexually assaulting a police officer who was on duty and in uniform.
According to the Hogansville Police Department, Prilesh Navinchandra Thakkar "attempted to forcefully commit an indecent act on an on duty female police officer."
The officer was conducting a business check on May 11 at the Hop In service station along state Highway 54 when the 300-pound manager grabbed her and pulled her behind the counter, WAGA reported.
She was able to get away from Thakkar and immediately reported what happened.

Horrific injuries on the horizon [CNN] The French rugby federation (FFR) has voted unanimously in favor of allowing transgender women to play women's rugby as of next season.
The decision goes against advice given by World Rugby, who last year said it did not recommend that transgender women play women's contact rugby "on safety grounds at the international level of the game."
However, the governing body's advice was not binding and allowed national federations to implement their own grassroots policy.
"Rugby is an inclusive sport of sharing, without distinction of sex, gender, origin or religion," Serge Simon, Vice President of FFR, said in a statement on Monday.
"The FFR is steadfast against all forms of discrimination and works daily in order to allow everyone to practice, without constraint, their free will in rugby.
"In fact, it is very important to allow each one of our players to practice their passions while respecting the rights of everyone."
FFR's statement clarified that in order to compete domestically, transgender women transitioning from male to female must certify that they have been on hormonal treatment for at least 12 months and must not exceed the testosterone threshold of five nanomoles per liter.
Those players who have already transitioned and have changed their civil record can play without preconditions.
The FFR is the first national federation in France to allow transgender women to compete in top level sport.
[TheOklahoman] Gov. Kevin Stitt on Wednesday fanned the flames in his feud with an animal rights group.
After People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals put up in a billboard in southeast Oklahoma City calling the governor a "meathead," Stitt hosted a cookout under the billboard.

[Breitbart] Twitter refused to comment on its 12-hour ban of the Spanish politician Francisco José Contrera, deputy leader of Vox, the leading populist conservative party in the country. Why did Twitter ban Contrera? Because he said men can’t become pregnant.
In the tweet that got him suspended, Contrera said "a man cannot get pregnant. A man has no uterus or eggs."
In its automated message informing him of the suspension, Twitter told Contrera that "No threatening, harassing or fostering violence against other people on the basis of their race, ethnic origin, nationality, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religion, age, disability or disease is permitted."
In a post on Facebook, Contrera condemned Twitter as "fascist" for its suppression of his speech.
"I’ve been blocked from Twitter for 12 hours for ’hate speech,’ said the Spanish politician. "The hateful tweet (which I was forced to delete) was one that said: ’A man cannot get pregnant. A man has no womb or eggs.’ You can see this is already fascist biology. Next time I’ll try 2 + 2 = 4."
Twitter’s policy on speech regarding transgenderism has grown increasingly draconian over the years. In January, the platform suspended a conservative organization for stating the transgender assistant secretary at the Department of Health and Human Service’s biological sex.
It also suspended the account of Lauren Witzke, who ran for the U.S. Senate in Delaware last year as the Republican candidate, after she condemned a comment from a "gender nonconforming" left-wing activist, Alok Vaid-Menon, who appeared to defend the sexualization of minors. Witzke condemned the comment as "demonic."
Breitbart News reached out to Twitter so the company could explain its decision, but it refused to comment.

[NYPOST] Home Depot on Tuesday reported first-quarter earnings that demolished Wall Street’s expectations, as demand for the retailer’s products remained robust as the pandemic eased.
CEO Craig Menear said the company benefitted from "unprecedented demand" in the fiscal first quarter, which ended May 2.
The company reported net sales of $37.5 billion — up a staggering 32.7 percent compared with the same time last year, when the pandemic first hit corporate earnings. Wall Street analysts expected $34.96 billion in net sales.
Same-store sales rose 31 percent from a year ago, beating Wall Street expectations of a 19.9 percent increase, according to IBES data from Refinitiv.
And the company reported net income of $4.15 billion, or $3.86 per share, up from $2.25 billion, or $2.08 per share, a year earlier. Analysts were expecting earnings per share of $3.08.

I was initially surprised noting the GA HD's in my area don't seems to have the same Customer numbers as LOWE'S.
But given Lowe's is more of a Homeowner update/basic repair store and HD is more of a Contractor Warehouse so I adjusted my thinking.
