Iranian border guards toss them into the river to see if they float. Many didn't
"If they float, they're a witch. You know what else floats? A duck. So, if they weigh more than a duck..."

That bottom story makes me think that Polyamory may not be for everyone.
[KhaamaPress] The Afghan forces repulsed an attack by Talibs in central Maidan Wardak proivnce, killing at least 2 bad boys, the Afghan military said.
The 203rd Thunder Corps in a statement said a group of Talibs attacked the Charka area located in the outskirts of the lovely provincial capital of Maidan Wardak.
The statement further added that the Afghan forces effectively responded to the attack, killing at least 2 bandidosfaceless myrmidons and wounding 2 others.
The Afghan forces also destroyed some weapons and munitions of the bandidosfaceless myrmidons during the operation, the 203rd Thunder Corps added.
The Taliban ...Arabic for students... group has not commented in this regard so far.
[KhaamaPress] The Afghan forces killed 9 Talibs during a raid in North-eastern Badakhshan province of Afghanistan, the Special Operations Corps said.
The Talibs had gathered in Yaftal Bala district of Badakhshan and were planning to launch an attack.
However, by candlelight every wench is handsome... the Special Operations Corps in a statement said the Afghan forces launched a preemptive raid to thwart the attack plan and killed at least 9 bandidosfaceless myrmidons during the raid.
The statement further added that the security forces also maimed 7 other bandidosfaceless myrmidons and cleared 7 villages during the same raid.
The Taliban ...Arabic for students... group has not commented regarding the raid so far.
Badakhshan is among the relatively volatile provinces in North-eastern parts of the country where Talibs and hard boyz belonging to other groups are actively operating and often attempt to carry out attacks against the government.
The Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... (NDS), in a statement said the Special Forces of the directorate conducted the raid in Shakar Dara district and 11th district of Kabul city.
The statement further added that the network was led by Sanaullah, a senior ISIS Leader who was also in charge of coordinating Haqqani Network’s activitities in urban areas.
According to NDS, the network had carried out multiple attacks including rocket attack on presidential inauguration, attack on Sikh temple, attack on Mazari tomb and rocket attacks on Bagram airfield.
The NDS Special Forces also arrested 8 other holy warriors during the raid, NDS said, adding that several weapons and munitions including 82mm rockets, mortar rounds, Dshk heavy machine gun and 250 kgs of explosives were confiscated.
The Afghan Vice President and Former Director of the Afghan Intelligence (National Directorate of Security) Amrullah Saleh said the Afghan forces discovered infamous items which the militants in beheading videos, during a raid on a joint compound of ISIS-Haqqani Network in Kabul.
“I congratulate @NDSAfghanistan for conducting a successful raid on IS-K & Haqani network safe house in north Kabul. Caches of weapons including the infamous knife & chair used 4 on camera throat cutting were found. The pile of evidence against terrorist & their sponsors going up,” Saleh said in a Twitter post.

Prequel; this was a flock of seagulls magic swallows who dropped a storm of clay pellets on the Aksim elephant army and saved Mecca the year Mo was born, or something.
Seems a bit far fetched, comparing modern Turkey to the power of the Aksimites around that time period.
15 #GNA militia terrorists have surrendered after they were left behind 9Km north of Al Witya airbase and being surrounded for 15 hours by Libyan army units. Their dream came true to enter the base but in handcuffs 😂 #LNA#Libya
We are still finding #GNA militia equipment after they turn tail and ran from the lions of libya #LNA at the great battle of Alwitya.#Libyapic.twitter.com/XkdVT2U9Ux
[EXCELSIORNEWS] Riyaz Naikoo, operational commander of the banned Hizbul Mujahideen ...Party of Holy Warriors, founded by Muhammad Ahsan Dar in September 1989. One of the Pak sock puppets waging jihad in Indian Kashmir. It was originally organized as the armed wing of Jamaat-e-Islami. In 1990, Dar declared Hizbul as the sword arm of Jamaat. Hizbul murdered many of the pro-independence intelligentsia in Kashmir. After the organization was taken over by Syed Salahuddin Dar and several other ex-Hizb leaders were assassinated between 2001 and 2003... , and another bully boy were killed during an encounter with security forces in South Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... ’s Awantipora. Naikoo, one of Kashmir’s most wanted bully boy, had taken over the Hizbul leadership in the Valley from Mohammad Yasin Itoo alias Mehmood Ghaznawi after he was killed in August 2017 in a shootout in Shopian’s Awneera.
Colonel Aman Anand, Indian Army Spokesperson: "2 terrorists killed by security forces in an operation in #Pulwama's Beighpora. This make 4 terrorists killed by us in 24 hours. Weapons have been recovered." pic.twitter.com/SJGRRDuX1o
Riyaz Naikoo, 35, had been on the run for nearly eight years, but Indian police and army soldiers received a tip that he and other rebels were hiding out in the Awantipora area in southern Kashmir late Tuesday and began descending on the region.
Armored vehicles swept through the area and military officials used earth movers to dig up several patches of land, including a school playground, looking for possible underground hideouts, residents said, according to reports by the Associated Press.
Troops blasted at least two civilian homes with explosives, a common tactic employed by Indian troops in Kashmir.
Government forces then began house-to-house searches in the area on Wednesday that resulted in a shootout between Indian and rebel forces, police said. In the ensuing firefight, two militants were killed, a police official said on condition of anonymity, keeping with government policy. He identified one of the slain rebels as Naikoo. The officer said Naikoo was the most wanted militant in Kashmir, and troops had conducted dozens of operations to get him.
The BBC reported that eight security personnel were also killed in two separate attacks.
In accordance with new government policy, authorities did not hand over the bodies of the two slain rebels to their families and instead, they were buried in a remote mountainous graveyard about 62 miles away from their slaying, which has also happened to be Naikoo's native village.
India and Pakistan have long fought over Kashmir with both sides claiming the territory as their own and the fighting in the mountainous region between the two nations has led to nearly 70,000 civilian and military casualties on both sides.
Naikoo, a famed mathematician, rose to power succeeding Burhan Wani, who was killed by security forces in 2016. Naikoo was successful in uniting the rebels, who were previously split into factions.
Anti-India protests ensued in the streets of Kashmir during the military excursion against Naikoo, and officials cut mobile and internet service in an effort to stop protestors from gathering.
Government forces fired bullets, shotgun pellets and teargas at a large anti-India protest that hit the streets and threw stones at the troops shortly after the news of the rebel leader's killing spread. At least a dozen civilians were injured in the clashes, locals and medics said. One among the injured was critical with a gunfire injury.
India has stepped up its counterinsurgency operations across Kashmir in recent months during a coronavirus lockdown. Militants have also continued their attacks on government forces and alleged informants. More than two dozen militants and about a dozen Indian troops were killed in April, the most in any month since August 2019, when India revoked the region’s semi-autonomous status and statehood and imposed direct federal rule.

Shortly after the Katyusha attack, Iraqi security forces later discovered the launching pad for the rockets in the al-Barkiya area, west of Baghdad. No group immediately claimed responsibility.
An Iraqi security official, speaking on condition of anonymity in line with regulations, said one of the rockets struck close to Iraqi forces at the military airport, another near Camp Cropper, once a U.S. detention facility, and the last near to where U.S. forces are stationed at the base. Sadaam Hussein was held in Camp Cropper prison prior to his execution.
The U.S. has accused Iran-backed militias of carrying out such attacks in the past.
Some Wolesi Jirga members on Wednesday claimed Iranian border forces killed 136 Afghan migrants in three days, asking the government to lodge complaint with the relevant international body.

[SYRIAHR] U.S. forces continue re-imposing their influence in the eastern Euphrates region through intensive movements, conducting patrols and returning to former military bases.
U.S. has also brought in large military reinforcement to their bases and posts throughout the region, the last of which arrived in the past few hours to "Qasrak" base in Tal Baydar area in al-Hasakah province.
According to SOHR sources, "Qasrak" base now contains a considerable amount of weapons, ammunition and logistical supplies, after the arrival of large reinforcement in the recent few days.
Observatory activists reported last night a U.S. convoy entered Syria via al-Walid crossing on Iraq border, carrying military and logistical supplies, heading to Qasrak base in Tal Baydar area in al-Hasakeh province.
On April 28, Observatory activists monitored U.S. cargo planes carrying military and logistical supplies, landing at Qasrak base in rural al-Qamishli and al-Omar oil field in rural Deir Ezzor.
Moreover, a column of 300 U.S. trucks headed towards Tal al-Baydar base in rural al-Hasakeh, carrying military aid, weapons and ammunition.

The oppositionist news Deir Ezzor 24 [claims], Aramco “started implementing practical steps in this field, where a group of the company arrived in an official mission to al-Omar oil field in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.” It is believed that investments will be made through contracts signed between Aramco and the US govt., whose armed forces have been increasing their military presence... around the oil fields.

These are the oil fields meant to provide income to the Syrian Kurds so they can afford to continue the war against ISIS, et al,, if I recall correctly

Trailing wife, why don’t we just leave the Mid-East and let them kill each other. The only countries worth protecting in that whole area are Israel and Egypt. Saudi Arabia allowed 911.

/\ Exactly! Why do we continually attempt to interrupt thousands of years of mooslim culture and tradition.

On our list of top three priorities the Middle East should be #8 or 9...
Sure, because the various incestuous branches of Jihad, Inc. will stop trying to destroy us at home and abroad because we’ve become bored of the game. I would agree to pulling out of Syria except for the Kurds, and out of Iraq ditto, leaving the natives to squabble among themselves while we fight to actually win from secure vases among the Kurds instead of trying to herd Arab cats while they attack us as well as each other? With regard to Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh (where I don’t think we’ve been involved thus far), may I suggest teaming up with Dron66046’s crew and quietly hunting down of the ISI’s nasty little toys? There are training camps all over the landscape that need to experience bad batches of chili curry.
