[ValiantNews] According to a report by NBC News’ Ryan Reilly, the jury in the Proud Boys trial is now deadlocked and just asked the judge in the case to provide more specific instruction on the definition of "seditious conspiracy".
This means the primary charge of the highest-profile January 6th case is now in doubt. The judge is expected to give instructions to the jury shortly on how to interpret the law and break the deadlock. "Interpret it any way you have to to convict these bastards!"
A failure to convict the Proud Boys on seditious conspiracy would be a major black eye for the Department of Justice, as this is just one of only two trials of the so-called "January 6 Insurrection" where anyone has actually been charged with insurrection.Of the more than one thousand others who have been accused by the DOJ, the vast majority have been nonviolent offenders guilty of trespassing or "unlawful parading."

We knew their case was garbage, but for a DC jury to redneckognize it as well really puts the stink to it. Judge will instruct jury to simply convict.

They'll just find another 'jury' that is more amenable to 'the cause'.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says that the #US could default on its #debt as early as June 1, if legislators do not raise or suspend the nation’s borrowing authority before then and avert what could potentially become a global financial #crisis.https://t.co/pXai8Q0XTW

I'm kinda hoping it happens myself. Something needs to wake the electorate the fuck up about how the Democrats are running the country into the ground. By all reasonable expectations they should've gotten their asses kicked last November; instead the unhealthy pattern of incumbents winning 90% of elections continued unabated, and we got the House by our fingernails. Something's gotta give.

That Yellen is about as big a hack as they come. Her background before becoming a one-term Fed Chair was as a labor statistician. Now look at her. Davos couldn't be more proud.

Excuse me DC.
What do you call 31.7+/- Trillion in National Debt?
At the current rate of IRS collected revenue of $4.71 trillion per year. 31.7 Trillion is will take US TAXPAYERS 26.99 years to pay off the vote buying DC pocket filling debt.
That's 26.99 years of the Federal Gov. run on a $0.00 (zero) Spending Budget . So realistically we are looking at
100+ years with a lot of Moochers and Free Loaders starving, or getting off their butts, stop reproducing and finding a source of income called WORK.

Hello, Janet! You ARE the secretary of the treasury. You are the one who should be doing something about this...

if legislators do not raise or suspend the nation’s borrowing authority
President Biden announce the other day that he will not negotiate with Congress about this. This is a play to blame the Republicans because the Democrats do not want to be constrained by the Republican controlled House.

According to Epoch Times, Chuck Schumer wants $2 million for a hip hop museum in the Bronx. That's a mere droplet in the bucket but it shows the frivolity that contributes to a $30 trillion debt.
More disturbing is the money we give to countries like Mexico and Pakistan for no other reason than to enrich their ruling classes. Then, of course, there was Afghanistan and now Ukraine. Uncle Sam has just got to have himself some fucking war somewhere.

Shades of some dem or other's "teapot museum" and Dingy Harry's cowboy poetry slam.

Sadly, the government doesn't really shut down. They take a paid vacation. If they really shut it down then don't pay the Civil Servants when they return.
Rant over.

The government's income doesn't stop. Everyone just gets a smaller slice of their appropriations.
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
