[TRENDINGVIEWS.CO] A NYPD detective was attacked while he was just standing there doing his job, minding his own business, when out of nowhere a man came over and hit him on the head with a stick.
The person stood there looking confused for a second, the detective fell over, and then cops pursued the suspect on foot.
It's unclear what happened after the video stopped recording, but a later news report said the suspect was arrested.
CBS Local reported, "It happened just before noon while the detective was investigating a burglary on Prince Street in Flushing, Queens. Police arrested 25-year-old Akeele Morgan. He faces multiple charges, including assault on a police officer."

The laws is clear... according to NY Penal Code.
The judge cannot slap his wrist.
NY Penal Law Section 120.11 - Aggravated assault upon a police officer or a peace officer
A person is guilty of aggravated assault upon a police officer or a peace officer when, with intent to cause serious physical injury to a person whom he knows or reasonably should know to be a police officer or a peace officer engaged in the course of performing his official duties, he causes such injury by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.
Aggravated assault upon a police officer or a peace officer is a Class B
or a Class C felony for just assault.
The idiot is looking at a possible sentence of 20 years in prison and a big file.
Because assault on a peace officer is also classified as a violent felony, the judge is required to impose at least a minimum sentence of 3+ years in prison. Even if the idiot has no prior convictions.

The judge cannot slap his wrist. Before that is even possible, a judge would have to GET the case presented in court. Whether of not that might happen is NOT up to the judge, as we are seeing nightly in Portland, OR.

Following the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 12/1979, a crucial meeting of nascent Islamist movements was held at Lahore in Fall 1990. It involved in secret session a conference of radical Islamists about which little was ever revealed. Its "stated goal and central resolution" was the creation of a "Great Islamic Republic" that would unite the Middle East by the year 2000. The elimination of the region's Jews and Christians was central to that goal. The meeting was hosted by the then powerful Jamaat-i-Islami (JI), an Islamist organization which traced its roots to British India and as noted, was founded by Maulana Abdul Ala Maududi (1905-1979). To this day the JI has been committed to jihad, and no peace in Afghanistan can be expected as long as it maintains its powerful presence along the Afghan- Pak frontier and throughout Pushtun-dominated Afgghanistan.

Its "stated goal and central resolution" was the creation of a "Great Islamic Republic" that would unite the Middle East by the year 2000. The elimination of the region's Jews and Christians was central to that goal.
So that’s the start of very connected lone wolves we keep seeing — a jihadi from one group financed by another and supported or friends’n’relations with those in even more groups.
They are succeeding in driving the Christians out of the Ummah, but the Jews of Israel are more secure now than they have ever been, despite the efforts of the Harris-Biden administration. And the Middle East is as divided as ever, if not more so.
I’ve reluctantly concluded that no peace will come to Afghanistan so long as there are Pashtuns in it... and possibly not afterward, either.

But they said the Iran-backed turbans had advanced in four areas of the Mashjah front, another key battlefield in their battle to seize the oil-rich region from Saudi-led coalition-backed government forces.
Fierce fighting on multiple frontlines around the strategic city has left at least 67 dead over the past 24 hours, including some 27 loyalist personnel, the three sources said.
According to one of the commanders taking part in the defence of Marib, the government forces 'succeeded in repelling a massive attack' at al-Tala'a al-Hamra, about 18 kilometres (11 miles) west of the city.
'Losing it would enable (the rebels) to advance towards hills and sites close to Marib, and the road would be clear towards the western entrance to the city,' the source added.
The second commander confirmed the details. al-Tala'a al-Hamra is located near the main highway connecting Marib with the rebel-controlled capital Sanaa.
On Sunday, military sources told AFP that the rebels had taken full control of the Kassara battlefield to the northwest, putting them within six kilometres (four miles) of the city centre, as well as progressing on western frontlines despite Saudi-led coalition Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s.
The Yemeni government's Information Minister Muammar al-Eryani disputed the version related by the loyalist officials on the ground, and denied that the Houthis had taken Kassara.
Multiple government sources have told AFP that the next two weeks will decide the fate of the offensive which erupted in early February, saying that some 2,000 of their soldiers have been killed so far, along with thousands more Houthi fighters.
The rebels rarely disclose their own losses.
The three sources said that government forces are building defences on the outskirts of Marib, digging trenches and piling up earth mounds in anticipation of any military breakthrough by the rebels.
In a series of meetings with representatives of Yemeni civil society, women, political parties and journalists, the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, said the attack on Marib had to stop.
In the talks in Egypt which concluded Monday he warned of the dire humanitarian consequences of the offensive, and said it jeopardised the grinding of the peace processor.
The government estimates that two million displaced people have made their way to Marib, seeking safety from a devastating war now in its seventh year.
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] The Saudi navy has intercepted and destroyed a remote-controlled explosive- laden boat off the Red Sea port of Yanbu on Tuesday.
Defense Ministry front man Brigadier General Turki al-Malki said the vessel was destroyed shortly after 6:40 am on Tuesday.
It was destroyed according to the rules of engagement, he added, stressing that investigations were ongoing with the concerned authorities to uncover the perpetrators.
He said the Defense Ministry was taking strict measures against any hostile attempts to target the Kingdom’s economic installations.

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] A US military ship fired warning shots after three vessels from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN) came close to it and another American patrol boat in the Gulf, the United States military said on Tuesday.
Such incidents have occurred occasionally over the past five years, though there has been a relative lull over the past year.
While officials said it was too early to discern the exact motivation of the Iranian forces, they have said that generally in the past such incidents are carried out by local commanders rather than directed by senior Iranian leaders.
"The US crews issued multiple warnings via bridge-to-bridge radio and loud-hailer devices, but the IRGCN vessels continued their close range maneuvers," the military statement said.
"The crew of Firebolt then fired warning shots, and the IRGCN vessels moved away to a safe distance from the US vessels," the statement added, using the name for the US Navy patrol ship.
The closest the Iranian fast inshore attack craft came to the American ships was 68 yards (204 feet) during the incident, which took place on Monday in international water in the northern Gulf.
The incident comes as world powers and Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. "The activities we typically see from the IRGC Navy are not necessarily activities that are directed by the Supreme Leader or from the Iranian state, rather irresponsible actions by local commanders on the scene," said Marine General Kenneth McKenzie, head of US Central Command.

The communist student body president of Virginia Commonwealth University (@VCU) is revealed to be behind an account that posted racist screeds & advocated for murderous violence. Taylor Marie Maloney's extremism actually earned them praise from @ACLUVA: https://t.co/48GuqfVSw3
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] A far-left bad boy using an online moniker to advocate for assassinations of law enforcement has been revealed to be the student body president of Virginia Commonwealth University.
20-year-old Taylor Marie Maloney, from Charleston, SC, was championed earlier this month by the ACLU of Virginia for being the "first openly transgender and non-binary person" elected to the position. But social media posts written by the communist activist have since surfaced showing their advocacy for killing cops, rioting, looting, vandalism and hatred of white people.

Maloney also indicated they'll engage in sex work if no job prospects arise by June.

3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots.... police.
Investigation has revealed that the execution was undertaken with an intention of striking terror in the minds of the people and especially those opposed to Khalistan ideology. The transnational conspiracy in the instant case was hatched by Pakistain based self styled chief of the KLF, Lakbhir Singh Rode.
Further a well oiled terrorist-narcotics-criminal nexus worked together and ensured that arms were smuggled into India from Pakistain through the International Border. It was also found that narcotics had been smuggled in as well and the proceeds of the same were used to execute the conspiracy.
The foreign based KLF leadership had recruited, financed and armed a local gangster Sukhmeet Pak and tasked him to execute the killings through his associates. The NIA said that after the killing of Harmeet Singh alias Happy alias PHD, Sukh Bikhariwal was ordered by Rode to kill Comrade Singh. The reconnaissance of the target was carried out by Inderjeet Singh and sharp-shooters Gurjit Singh and Sukhdeep Singh.

[IsraelTimes] IDF says projectiles fell inside Strip, triggering alarms in Kissufim region; dozens of rockets were fired into Israel over weekend, prompting warnings of harsh response.
Given that they punched themselves in the face again, again missing Israel completely, possibly Israel won’t retaliate just yet.
Paleostinian hard boyz in the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... Strip fired two rockets toward Israel after midnight Tuesday, with both projectiles falling inside the coastal enclave, the IDF said.
There were no reports of injuries or damage.
The launches triggered rocket warning sirens in Israeli communities near Kissufim and came after a one-day lull in attacks.
The latest violence began late Friday night, when hard boyz in the Strip launched at least 36 rockets and mortar shells at southern Israel, causing light damage in a number of Israeli communities near the border. The attacks resumed on Saturday night, when more than four rockets were fired toward Israel, some of them failing to clear the border and landing inside Gaza, and then again late Sunday night, when five more projectiles were fired from the Strip at southern Israel.
The security cabinet on Monday signed off on a major military response if hard boyz in the Gaza Strip continue to fire rockets into Israel, after dozens of projectiles were launched from the enclave over the past three days.
The IDF responded to the Friday night attacks with strikes on Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, infrastructure, but has refrained since then from retaliating violent mostly peacefully. Instead, on Monday morning, the military announced it was closing the Gaza fishing zone until further notice, cutting off a major source of income for the beleaguered enclave.
The terror groups that conducted the launches — the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine and Fatah — said in statements that they were a response to ongoing unrest in Jerusalem, which has seen violence between Jews and Arabs, as well as festivities between Arab youths and Israeli police, in recent days.
The attacks and Hamas’s presumed approval of them have also been tied to internal Paleostinian competition, ahead of elections that were scheduled for next month — the first elections in some 15 years — but which the Paleostinian Authority has indicated it plans to postpone indefinitely.
