She's not altogether wrong. Yes,the south asian community in America is neck deep in the anti-america mudslinging. Some Indians, once they escape their existential traps here, go on to try and establish their own 'diversity' mongering shithole politics over there. Usually second generation. But many arts majors and law grads are being absorbed by the lib dem machine and making it big in a very liberal social environs. In India, these people would have half the worth, zero credence and no political representation. They are hypocrites and very mercenary, meaning there is no real ideology or loyalty with anything. Just a flexible value set for getting to the next level and some hubris about being 'intellectual orientals'.
A professor from University of Pennsylvania Law School, Amy Wax, has sparked a controversy by calling India a ’s*ithole’ on national TV. Wax, who has made such inflammatory remarks in the past, also slammed Brahmin women.

#BREAKING: Russian Ministry of Defence says ammunition has exploded after a fire on the Russian cruiser Moskva, causing serious damage- RIA https://t.co/20EDwZdoM1
Putin’s 79 dimensional chess continues. In his latest tactical masterpiece he’s lost a naval flagship to a country without a navy pic.twitter.com/GyhzUukRqg
A Russian source is saying the Moskva has sunk and that the explosion was from a Ukrainian Neptun missile strike. Apparently, Ukraine flew a TB2 UCAV to distract the ship while it was targeted by the Neptun. The ship rolled onto its side after the strike.https://t.co/lACtPPJYVF
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday night that the cruiser suffered "serious damage," adding that the cause of the fire was under investigation.
The entire 500-man crew has been "safely" evacuated, Russian military said.
However, Ukrainian officials on Wednesday evening claimed that a battery of their Neptune anti-ship missiles hidden in Odessa had successfully struck the Moskva twice, setting the cruiser ablaze.
Among those making the claim were Maksim Marchenko, head of the military administration in Odessa, and Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Interior Ministry in Kiev. Pics at link

(Wikipedia) Neptune (Ukrainian: Р-360 «Нептун», romanized: R-360 "Neptun") is a Ukrainian anti-ship cruise missile developed by Luch Design Bureau.
Neptune's design is based on the Soviet Kh-35 anti-ship missile, with substantially improved range and electronics. The system is designed to defeat surface warships and transport vessels with a displacement of up to 12,490 tons, either in convoys or moving individually.
The system entered service with the Ukrainian Navy in March 2021.

Rumor is two volleys of two missiles each were fired by the Ukrainians. The first volley was defeated electronically.
One of the two missiles of the second volley hit a loaded missile launcher cannister with a 1,000 pound warhead. The Moskva did not have a modern fire extinguishing system.
- The source of ignition on the cruiser "Moskva" is localized.
- There is no open burning.
- Explosions of ammunition are stopped.
- Cruiser "Moskva" retains afloat.
- The main missile weapons were not damaged
- The crew was evacuated to the ships of the Black Sea Fleet in the area.
- Currently, measures are being taken to tow the cruiser to the port.
Turkish media write about the cruiser that it hit a mine, which was pushed onto it due to a storm. A fire started, and the fire-fighting system on the 1970 cruiser and the fire reached the ammunition load, which exploded.

Is there one designated guy who breaks news like this to Putin, or do they just slip an envelope under his door?

But considering this was the ship that the Snake Island garrison told to go fuck themselves...
This is the story the nets are selling. However...
The Snake Island ship was Vasily Bykov, a large patrol corvette. I noticed when the stamp first came out, the pictured ship was *not* Vasily Bykov, but of a different class.
Vasily Bykov pic - note the deck gun and lack of missile tubes that Moskva, being a missile cruiser has.
For the time being, I'm going with badanov's mine theory or an ammo explosion.
#19
If it didn’t sink it’s got a cluster of other distracted ships around it that should be a target of opportunity. I’m leaning towards a mine as well based on initial damage reports and the sequence of events as conflicting as they are.
#22
A modern antiship missile would have snapped them Moskva's keel in two, sending it immediately to the bottom.
Well, if it hit an armored box launcher and exploded there it could have done a lot of damage without destroying the structural components below the waterline.
#25
The mine is more likely to snap the keel with an underwater blast. I have seen two ship fires, it would be hard to believe that the ship was evacuated for towing without a bunch of dead guys. She is gas turbine powered so it is possible to turn the key off and leave. Not sure why you would abandon ship unless she was actively afire. If she is actively burning and loaded with ammo, I wouldn’t want to be the tow truck.

Little more updated information from PJ Media.
Doesn't look like it sunk, but is definitely out of the war and given Russia's ability to drydock at the moment, Moskva will not be putting back to sea.

Certainly good for a laugh. But when has Ivan been concerned about casualties or losses of equipment? In WWII they had NKVD battalions following forward troops and if they didn't keep the time table it was curtains. In WWI Imperial Russian officers were forbidden by custom and law to take cover under fire.
Look what the Finns did to them and on the cheap at that. I don't know, perhaps Borodino? or maybe not. The way they think seems to be the essence of it's not over until it's over.

A scary ship in its day. Those missile launchers were huge and intimidating. Evidently they were also very flammable. The above the superstructure looked to be burning like the sun throughout the night vision video that I saw. I have no idea how they could have evacuated other than diving over the side.

Where are all our Putin suck ass boys? Embarrassed by the sinking of your top ship?
Russia is finished as a power. Not a great power, a power.
What has Russia ever produced except misery for her own people and her neighbors?
Well, they have succeeded in getting some right wing nuts in the USA to side with them.
Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin
[ColonelCassad] 1. Western sources say that the RF Armed Forces are completing preparations for the start of an offensive operation in the coming days. Assume terms from 3 to 10 days before the start of the operation. Day X, of course, is kept secret, although preparations for it are not particularly hidden, especially since Shoigu has long outlined the directions where events will take place.
2. The Russian Defense Ministry today openly threatened that if attempts continue to attack the territory of the Russian Federation, strikes will be made on decision-making centers, including in Kyiv. It's high time to tackle the government quarter in Kyiv. "Dagger" on the Verkhovna Rada on the day the offensive began, it will be beautiful.
3. The remnants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after yesterday's surrender of the main forces of the 36th Marine Corps fled to Azovstal, from where they write vlogs and call those who surrendered "deserters", who cannot be considered heroes. Today, a cleanup of the Ilyich plant is underway, and there will be Azovmash soon.
4. The seaport of Mariupol is completely released. All hostages, including all foreigners, have been released. The remnants of the enemy forces are defending in the Primorsky district in a residential area. Some fled to Azovstal. The port itself has yet to be cleared. The coastal facilities have mostly been preserved, which is good for the development of the DPR.
5. An intensification of the supply of foreign weapons to Ukraine is expected, including tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and artillery. Further rockets and rate hikes up to a remake of the Cuban Missile Crisis. The threat of nuclear war will continue to grow.
6. Le Pen confirmed that she considers Crimea to be Russian and wants to withdraw France from NATO command structures. Of course, they won’t let her win with such cases - for NATO it will be the finish line.
7. German business is simply howling at calls to abandon Russian gas. According to the "fat cats", Germany will lose up to 250 billion dollars and slide into recession. But of course Germany must pay for supporting Nazism and Russophobia.
At the moment, a block has been formed from Hungary, Germany and Austria, which slows down the rejection of Russian gas and oil. For the time being, Russia is holding on to its trump card of shutting off gas to Europe (which would deal a monstrous blow to Germany, putting an end to its claims to economic dominance in Europe).
8. The Kremlin and the Russian Foreign Ministry made it clear today that no one is going to change Medvedchuk for prisoners of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. An attempt to cover up the failure in Mariupol with Medvedchik failed.
Relatives of the prisoners are recording hysterical videos with calls to save the prisoners and those surrounded. Medvedchuk's wife asks "friend Rejep" to save her husband. Ironically, Medvedchuk is still a people's deputy who has not been convicted. The rule of law as it is.
Full-fledged reviews of the directions will return after the resumption of intensive offensive operations. I think soon.
Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin.
Rozhin already knows the answer: The Cossacks were treated horribly by Igor Plotnitsky, with several commanders dying at the hands of the authorities of both Lugansk and Donetsk, and independent formations being attacked and disbanded.
Cossacks took part in the mop up operations in February 2015 Debaltsevo. They had to have seen how the ruling authorities threw volunteer formations into a meat grinder.
See Kozytsin [ColonelCassad] In comparison with the events of 2014-2015, the much smaller participation of Cossack formations in hostilities attracts attention. If in 2014 the Cossacks, both those who fought and those who were hiding in the rear, were a very massive and widespread phenomenon, then in the campaign of 2022 they flicker only sporadically in the Luhansk People's Republic and in the liberated territories of the Zaporozhye region. There is no need to talk about any really mass participation yet.
But from the state budget for the Cossacks, a lot of money was allocated and allocated, and this topic is supported at the state level. Nevertheless, despite the expectations that the Cossacks will take an active part in the campaign to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine (not to mention the issue of liberating the territory of the DPR and LPR from Ukrainian occupation), the level of participation does not even reach 2014. Apparently in the conditions of hostilities there are some more important events.
But there were many stories that as soon as the liberation of Donbass began, huge detachments of Cossacks would go to help Donbass. So where are they?

It’s clear from some of the articles published here that the Russians think of Cossacks as Russian, lotp. But then they think of Ukrainians as Russians who talk funny — another mistake.
Commentary by Russian military blogger Andrey Chervonets.
[Chernovec] The facts speak eloquently that on April 8, 2022, the Ukrainian military struck at the Kramatorsk railway station, where there were many residents of the city who intended to evacuate, with a Tochka-U missile.
Guilty, despite the egregious facts of involvement in this APU and quickly blurred this topic. The provocation in Kramatorsk was silenced very quickly. But we remember everything.
I will summarize all the information in one post in the form of a brief summary so that those who wish can freely operate this information if they have to face supporters of the Zelensky regime in the discussion.
a) At the site of the missile's fall , its tail was found, which clearly indicates that it was "Tochka-U , a missile in service with the Ukrainian army."
b) Russia does not have such missiles in service. RF Armed Forces consistently in the period 2010-2019. completely re-equipped all their 12 missile brigades from Tochek-U to Iskanders and completely removed obsolete missiles from service. The reference to the Tochka-U firing on February 15, 2022 is not relevant during the exercises in Belarus - Belarusian complexes were fired, Belarus has more than 30 of them in service.
c)The footage cited by the Ukrainian media, where wheeled mobile platforms are moving, on which, among other things, missile systems can be located, was also filmed in Belarus. And it is necessary to pay attention, there are no missiles on them.
These are three-axle automobile chassis BAZ-5921. This wheelbase has many modifications - it is the same not only for "Points", but for radars (for example, it uses the Credo-1S radar station (1L268), for loaders, these are modifications of the chassis for transporting goods with a direct tailgate.
d)The direction the rocket came from is southwest. This is indicated by a fragment of the tail of the rocket. Not only where the shank lying on the ground is directed. More importantly, the missile shoots off the tail 500 m from the target and then flies scattering the warhead (cassette). That is, through two points - the place where the liner fell and the place of the explosion, you can also draw a vector, and it pointed to the southwest. The simplest and indisputable geometry. This means that the missiles could not arrive from the territory controlled by the Russian Armed Forces or the DPR and LPR.
An additional confirmation of arrival from the southwest is the chat of the TG channel "Typical Kramatorsk", local residents heard the flight over Druzhkovka, a village southwest of Kramatorsk.
A little later, the Ministry of Defense of the RY also officially confirmed that this was the work of the 19th Separate Missile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the same brigade that fired on Donetsk on March 14 this year with numerous casualties among the civilian population. The shelling was carried out from the settlement. Dobropolye, which is 45 kilometers southwest of the city. By the way, the flight path in this case also goes through Druzhkovka, where the locals heard the rocket flying.
e) The arrived missile cannot be one of the missiles launched shortly before by the air defense of the DPR in Shakhtyorsk. Shakhtyorsk is located 112 km southeast of Kramatorsk, but not in the southwest, where the rocket came from. Air defense missiles were launched no later than 10:13 hrs (recorded by a posted video in the chat group of the TG-channel "Typical Donetsk"). The footage shows that this is the work of air defense systems, which, by the way, as usual, make twin volleys of rockets. The Tochki-U sustainer engine runs for 22-23 seconds. On the specified video, the operation of the main engine is much less - 10-12 seconds.
At 10:29 hrs, people in Kramatorsk heard an explosion and immediately started asking each other in chats what it was. Thus, at least 16 minutes elapsed between the launch in Shakhtyorsk and the explosion in Kramatorsk. The flight time does not coincide at all, the Tochka-U flies its maximum range of 120 km according to the performance characteristics in just 136 seconds, and this missile cannot hover in the air to take a tactical pause.
f) On April 9, journalists from the Italian TV channel La7 managed to film fragments of a 9M79-1 rocket of the Tochka-U complex that fired at Kramatorsk. On the frames, the serial number of the product is Ш (Sh)91579. These are figures from the same batch as the missiles that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already used in Donbass .
The attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kramatorsk took place exactly a few hours before the arrival in Kyiv of the EU High Commissioners Ursula von der Leyen and Josep Borrell, read - the EU Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.

The Ukrainians claim that the Russians do have such missiles in service.
Amnesty International (not a good source, I consider, but it is what I have found) said that some were used by the Russians earlier in this conflict.

[PJ] Democrats know they’re going to lose in November. In fact, it’s likely they’re going to lose big. Really big. Huge.
Historically speaking, midterms are bad for the party in power, and Democrats have done nothing to help themselves cut their losses. They’ve embraced a radical left-wing agenda, complete with failed attempts to eliminate the filibuster in the Senate and federalize elections — anything to help them retain power and control. Biden’s incompetence hasn’t helped them, either. We have a border crisis, record-high gas prices, and historic inflation. Yet Democrats always blame someone else for their failures and make excuses for their defeats.
Fox News host Jesse Watters spoke of this on his show earlier this week.
"The Democrats — I know, because I know Democrats — they want power," Watters said. "They don’t think that Joe Biden can win re-election. They think his presidency is so far costing them power in the House. Democrats obviously want their agenda enacted, and so far Joe Biden has not really been effective in enacting their agenda."
"Some people own up to it, recognize their error, and improve," Watters continued. "Others make excuses. Show up to work late? There was traffic. Miss a pop fly? The sun was in my eyes. Forget to do your homework? Of course, the dog ate it."
Watters concluded, "If you have been around long enough, you probably have a pretty good B.S. detector and [can] tell when someone is making excuses."
We all know the mainstream media will help Democrats. But here at PJ Media, we will call out the Democrats’ bogus excuses, and you can help us by joining PJ Media VIP. With your help, we can continue to call out the left’s lies and prevent the legacy media from covering up their incompetence.

Which means they're a few weeks away from the Dems again 'rebranding' their 'message', whose awesomeness we're just too fucking stupid to understand
Inside the DNC, Democrats are blaming 'bad messaging' for their abysmal polling.
"Look, I’m not going to BS. We’ve done a f—ing horrible job and sometimes I think we deserve to lose big in November," said another anonymous Democratic strategist to The Hill. "Democrats can say whatever they want but it’s not honest."
"The narrative here doesn’t exist," they added. "We need to wake up fast."
