[FoxNews] During an interview on "Mornings with Maria," Thursday, Lt. Christopher Olivarez stated that the purpose of busing migrants from Texas to Washington, D.C., is to "bring the border to D.C." to show them what smaller border communities have to deal with. His comments surrounding Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's initiative come as Olivarez warned illegal border smugglers are "doubling, even tripling" their profits.

Preliminary reports on the Abuja-Kaduna train terror attack have shown that there is a collaboration between bandidos and dislodged Boko Haram ...Nigeerian Islamist group, formerly paying homage to al-Qaeda, then, when the money ran out, to the Islamic State, and headed by nutcase Abu Bakr Shekau. Once he exploded in a gunfight with ISWAP, many in the group surrendered to the govt and others went with their new overlords. The remainder are a shell of their former selves, stmbling glassy-eyed and lonely through the Sambisa Forest and the soothing waters of Lake Chad, asking themselves What is truth?, or maybe just I wonder what's for dinner? I hope it's not rhinocerous again! ... bandidosgunnies from the North-East.
This was made known by the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, on Wednesday.
While he claimed the Nigerian Government was working to unravel the mystery surrounding the attack, he, however, said measures taken by the government cannot be made public as there were lives of kidnapped persons at stake.
Mohammed intervened after the Minister of Defence, retired Major General Bashir Salihi Magashi, was asked to provide information on the train attack of Monday, March 28, 2022, in which eight persons were confirmed killed.
At least 26 others were maimed in the attack.
"What is happening now is that there is a kind of an unholy handshake between bandidos and Boko Haram Death Eaters. Preliminary reports of what transpired at the Kaduna train attacks show that there is a kind of collaboration between the bandidos and the dislodged Boko Haram bandidosgunnies from the northeast. I can tell you very confidently that the Federal Government is on the top of this matter," the information and culture minister said.
The defence minister, in his earlier response to the question, said: "Honestly, I think the security chiefs are working hard to unveil those that are involved, and we will tell you very soon those that are carrying out these attacks.
"Both Jos and Kaduna, we will come and explain to the public what is really going on and our efforts to ensure that all these activities are stopped once and for all. We are really on top of the situation, we are planning hard and we will get it out as soon as possible."
On what the government was doing following the 72-hour ultimatum given by the families of the victims of the train attack, Mohammed said, "I think the Honorable Minister of Defence has already addressed the issues. One, that what the federal government is doing won’t be the subject matter of a presser, because we have lives at stake.
"And that the various arms of security are working night and day to unravel the mystery surrounding the kidnap, the attack as a whole, the kidnapped people. What I can assure you is that you get the respective arms of government actually engaged as we speak, in getting those, you know, victims released. It’s natural for anybody who is a father or a mother of a kidnap person to be worried and to be concerned.
"But at the level of government, we appreciate that and we are leaving no stone unturned, but we’ll give you specific steps we’re taking. I think it will be counterproductive and not going to aid or help those who are kidnapped or help, you know, the security forces who are tracing and ensuring that there’ll be no repeat of such attacks."
The attack and abduction, which occurred on March 28, have continued to elicit concerns over the degeneration in the level of insecurity under President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.
The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) had confirmed eight deaths, while many persons were declared missing.
[DW] The number of people with "migrant background" — foreigners and people with foreign roots — keeps rising in Germany, with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire... , Poland and Russia the top three countries of familial origin.
A new survey has found that well over one-quarter of people currently living in Germany are either foreign-born or have at least one immigrant parent.
The latest numbers, published by Germany's statistics agency Destatis on Tuesday, show that "people with migrant background" make up 27.2% of Germany's population.
With some 82 million people living in the EU country, officials estimate that about 22.3 million are foreign-born or people with foreign roots — the highest number since the survey was first conducted in 2005.
Foreign nationals make up just under one half of the group.
WHERE ARE THE IMMIGRANTS COLONISTS COMING FROM?
Most of the people with migrant background trace their origin to Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... and Asia. Around 7.5 million have links to other EU nations, 3.5 million to the Middle East and 1.1 million to Africa.
When looking to individual countries, Turkey remains the largest point of origin with 12% of the group, followed by Poland with 10% and Russia with 6%.
WHICH LANGUAGES DO THEY SPEAK?
The pollsters also found that in 46% of cases, people with migrant background spoke exclusively or mostly German in their home. Ottoman Turkish is the second-most popular language, with 8% of people with migrant background speaking it at home, followed by Russian with 7% and Arabic with 5%.
WHAT ABOUT UKRAINIAN REFUGEES?
The report does not include changes triggered by the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February which displaced millions. The 2021 numbers found around 308,000 Ukrainians were living in Germany, most of them for many years. In a separate announcement on Tuesday, however, German police said 335,000 Ukrainian refugees have arrived to Germany since the invasion started, more than doubling the number of Ukrainian nationals in the country. The real number is likely greater as the Ukrainians can travel to Germany without a visa.
It is estimated that around half of the Ukrainian refugees in Germany are children and young people.
Germany's massive economy has been heavily reliant on migrant workers for decades, with politicians in recent years working to entice even more migration into the country.
At the same time, however, German and EU politicians have been trying to clamp down on illegal immigration from Africa and the Middle East, prompting accusations of racism in the light of solidarity offered to refugees now arriving from Ukraine.
[ANDMAGAZINE.SUBSTACK] A judge in Washington D.C. yesterday ordered the release of Haider Sher Ali and Arian Taherzadeh — saying prosecutors failed to prove a foreign connection. Defense attorneys argued that the government was "Making a mountain out of a molehill, and it is time for it to end."
The two men may still face charges but in the interim, they will be free to go about their business. Whether they will remain in the country or simply vanish, of course, remains to be seen.
It has now been learned that the government was forced to rush the arrest of the two before it had completed gathering evidence because the two were apparently tipped off to the investigation into their activities via an email from a member of the Secret Service. The government characterizes this as "inadvertent." There has been no explanation of why a Secret Service agent would be emailing either of the two individuals or how such an email could possibly reveal "inadvertently" that the two were under investigation.

Fed employees have a pretty good idea of what other Fed employees make.
To think there's nothing amiss with a couple of guys within one or two grades of your own pay grade slinging money around like Musk, and giving it away.... We have to believe they're really stupid

Perhaps the Judge was influenced by someone high up in the Biden administration, who thought the case might interfere with the planned agreement with Iran to allow it nuclear weapons.
We can't have that fall through, can we?
[OneIndia] A recent interfaith marriage of a Moslem activist of the ruling CPI(M)'s youth wing DYFI, has stirred up a political storm after the relatives of the Christian bride alleged "love jihad", with a senior left party leader supporting the charge, only to retract his statement later.
As the issue snowballed into a major controversy, the Marxist party on Wednesday made it clear that there was nothing unnatural in interfaith marriages and the campaign of 'love jihad' was a creation of RSS and Sangh Parivar.
Relatives of Jyotsna Mary Joseph, a nurse in Saudi Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Fifteen of the nineteen WTC hijackers were Saudis, and most major jihadi commanders were Saudis, to include Osama bin Laden. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman quietly folded that tent in 2016, doing terrible things to the guys running it, and has since been dragging the kingdom into the current century... , levelled "love jihad' allegation after she recently walked out on her family and married Shejin, a local DYFI leader belonging to the Moslem community, without their consent.
A section of the Christian community in Thiruvambady here including nuns staged demonstrations against the alleged 'love jihad' in connection with the incident.
A statement issued by the CPI(M) district secretariat member and former MLA George M Thomas supporting the allegations of 'love jihad' on Tuesday added more fuel to the row and triggered an intense social media campaign by a section of people against the ruling party.
However, facts are stubborn; statistics are more pliable... the CPI(M) district leadership intervened and made Thomas issue a clarification.
Love jihad is a term used by the right wing outfits to claim that Moslem men lure women from other faiths to convert them into Islam.
Denouncing Thomas' remarks, P Mohanan, CPI(M) Kozhikode district secretary, said today that his party has never referred to inter-religious marriages as 'love jihad'.
"Love Jihad is a term used by the RSS and Sangh forces to attack religious minorities. The CPI(M) has already made its stand clear on the topic. Marriage is the choice of individuals and the legal system of the country permits adults to get married according to their choice," he told news hounds here.
He said Thomas' controversial remark supporting the 'love jihad' charges should be seen as a slip of the tongue and the ex-MLA was also convinced of the mistake now.
Mohanan also said the DYFI leader could have informed the party leadership about the marriage plan and avoided unwanted controversy.
Meanwhile, ...back at the Hubba Hubba Club, Big Shirley was still trying to snatch Nunzio bald-headed. She was already halfway there... the newly-married couple denied the allegations. No, no! Certainly not! by Jyotsna's relatives.
Addressing news hounds in Alappuzha, where the couple is presently staying, Jyotsna said she has all the freedom to stick to her religion till her death.
Shejin clarified that the marriage is a natural culmination of their love affair and the controversy was 'unnecessary.'
Retracting his earlier stance, George M Thomas told media today that his words were conveniently twisted by communal forces to suit their version of inter-religious marriage as 'love jihad'.
He maintained that he endorsed his party's stand on love marriages. However, facts are stubborn; statistics are more pliable... the marriage has hurt the sentiments of the Christian community, the left leader claimed.
The CPI(M) district leadership is organising an explanation meeting at Kodencherry this evening as the controversy over the wedding refused to die down despite the couple denying 'love jihad' charges.
[IsraelTimes] Rights group says Narges Mohammadi and Alieh Motalebzadeh transferred to notorious Qarchak women’s prison, which has long been derided for its conditions
Iranian authorities on Tuesday sent leading rights defender Narges Mohammadi and photojournalist Alieh Motalebzadeh back to prison after briefly allowing them out for medical reasons, family and activists said.
Iranian intelligence agents raided Mohammadi’s house in Tehran to arrest both women for their return to jail, Mohammadi’s husband Taghi Rahmani wrote on Twitter.
Motalebzadeh, a photojournalist, is vice-president of the Press Freedom Defense Association.
The HRANA news agency said both had been transferred to Qarchak women’s prison, southeast of Tehran, where conditions are routinely condemned by activists.
There is particular concern about the health of Mohammadi, who suffers from a heart condition.
Before being arrested, Mohammadi told The Washington Post that human rights ...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you... should be a "priority" in the West’s negotiations with the Islamic Theocratic Republic.
But she also argued that economic sanctions against the country imposed by the West had backfired, saying they had "weakened Iranians economically more than they weakened the Iranian regime."
Mohammadi was sentenced to eight years and more than 70 lashes on national security charges in January.
She was released from prison in October 2020, but then arrested in November 2021 in Karaj, outside Tehran, while attending a memorial for a man killed during nationwide protests two years earlier.
Amnesia Amnesty International at the time condemned Mohammadi’s arrest as "arbitrary" and described her as a "prisoner of conscience targeted solely for her peaceful human rights activities."
Mohammadi, who has long campaigned against the use of the death penalty in Iran, had before her latest arrest been working with families seeking justice for loved ones who they say were killed by security forces in the 2019 protests.
Media freedom group Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has described Qarchak as a former drug addiction treatment center for men turned into a women’s prison in 2010, and "notorious for its appalling hygiene contrary to all international human rights treaties."

[An Nahar] Lebanese Forces A Christian political party founded by Bashir Gemayel, who was then bumped off when he was elected president of Leb... leader Samir Geagea ...Geagea was imprisoned by the Syrians and their puppets for 11 years in a dungeon in the third basement level of the Lebanese Ministry of Defense. He was released after the Cedar Revolution in 2005... announced Wednesday the LF's program for the upcoming parliamentary elections, urging the Lebanese voters to hold accountable those who have been ruling the country by voting against them in the upcoming polls.
Geagea accused Hizbullah ...Party of God, a Leb militia inspired, founded, funded and directed by Iran. Hizbullah refers to itself as The Resistance and purports to defend Leb against Israel, with whom it has started and lost one disastrous war to date, though it did claim victory... of "dominating the political, strategic and security decisions in Leb ...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... ," and of "speaking on behalf of the Shiites."
"The Shiites are Lebanese like us and will benefit from our work, because they are the most deprived despite the heroic victories that Hizbullah talks about," Geagea said.
He added that he is not against a real resistance, accusing Hizbullah of "exploiting the concept of resistance."
Geagea stressed that "only the state must be armed and only the state must take peace and war decisions."
He said that the solution is in implementing the U.N. resolutions and in the maritime border demarcation. He added that Lebanon must preserve its "positive neutrality."
Geagea blamed the Lebanese leaders for the crisis, claiming that the LF had asked for reforms before the crisis and promising that his bloc will work to implement these reforms.
"There are no magical solutions," Geagea said, citing an agreement with the IMF and a forensic audit as required reforms.

One in four women in remote camps run by #Turkey and the Syrian opposition factions in #Syria's northwest are forced to engage in survival sex. #SNAhttps://t.co/hmdoJjGypi
— NORTH PRESS AGENCY - ENGLISH (@NPA_English) April 13, 2022
In some of the remote camps named "widow camps" in northwest Syria, women and kiddies experience "chronic and high levels of violence and depression, with some women forced to engage in survival sex," a report released by the Non-governmental Organization World Vision said.
The report that was publicized by The Guardian said "children in such camps are severely neglected, abused and forced to work while mothers are at ’breaking point’ psychologically."
About 34% of children have experienced one or more forms of violence, 2% said they married young, 58% of boys and 49% of girls aged 11 or older forced to work, according to the report.
The world Vision has visited 28 camps in Syria’s northwest which are run by the Syrian opposition and the Ottoman Turkish military.
"The widow camps are home to tens of thousands of single women — including those who are divorced or whose husbands are missing — and their children," the report read.
One in four women said they had witnessed sexual abuse in the camp on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Women are not allowed to freely leave the camps, unable to seek paid employment or support their families, some find they have "no choice" but to engage in so-called survival sex with male guards and camp managers.
"Syrian widows and their children deserve the same level of empathy, compassion and commitment" Alexandra Matei, a lead author of the report and the Policy and Advocacy Officer for World Vision Brussels and EU Representation, said noting to the international solidarity with the victims of the conflict in Ukraine.

Yup - the Imperial Japanese army would lure Korean girls out of their village with promises of work and jobs only to place them just behind the font lines to serve something like 50-60 men a day - who would literally line up for their turn. After the war the girls were once again fucked over by their villages who would shun them.
Then of course you have the U.N. Nookie for Food program it ran, and still runs, in Africa.
