The call for followers of AOC to scan social media and report things to them is straight out of the East German, STASI playbook. That the CHP sent plainclothes officers to investigate for the US Capitol Police is downright frightening, because nowhere is there a clear citation of probably cause. This seems to be intentional intimidation by the Marxists in Congress.
[Aljazeera] Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear on Friday signed a bill into state law limiting the use of "no-knock" police raids to cases involving violent crime.
The new law is a response to the death of Breonna Taylor,
...the police raided her apartment because she was holding the profits of her old boyfriend, a drug dealer, while living with her new boyfriend, another drug dealer. The new boyfriend shot at the police while hiding behind her, allowing her body to absorb the bullets aimed back at him...
a 26-year-old Black woman who was shot and killed by police during a misdirected drug raid in March 2020. Taylor’s death set off nationwide demonstrations.

Oddly enough, I was discussing this with friends over breakfast this morning.
Most attacks against Asians are committed by Blacks.
Most violence in schools is committed by Blacks.
Most attacks against Blacks are committed by Blacks.
In both cases, Whites are blamed because it's convenient for liberals to do that and absolutely verboten to suggest that maybe we have a Black Violence problem.

Violence, yes but a trivial problem when compared to the continuum of mindless slaughter found in their continent of origin. Of course it could simply be the waters.
(IBTimes)Rapper DMX suffered a massive heart attack last Friday and was immediately rushed to the hospital where it was revealed the singer was in a 'vegetative state' and on life support. Only close family members were allowed to pay a visit.
As per reports, DMX slipped in to coma after a heart attack due to drug overdose and the internet was swept with rumours a day later claiming the rapper was dead as 'RIP DMX' began trending on Twitter, which turned out to be a false flag. The rumours died a natural death after doctors revealed the singer needs to undergo brain tests that would "dictate further decisions to be made by DMX's family."
Now, one of the rapper's close family members revealed that he doubts if DMX suffered a heart attack due to drug overdose and revealed that the singer received Covid-19 vaccine about a week before he got the heart attack.
The family member did not confirm that the vaccine got the singer down but stated that it might have been the cause for his heart attack.
''(DMX) got the vaccine when they opened it up to people over 50. He got it so that he could go travel and perform, stuff like that,'' the family member said in a statement.
He stated that he suspects the vaccine might have caused a negative reaction on the rapper's body leading him to be hospitalized a week later.
''He took that vaccine, and he had a heart attack. I'm not saying the vaccine did it, but he never had a heart attack before,'' the statement read and further stated that his body might have had a "reaction to the vaccine". Also, the name of the vaccine which DMX reportedly took has not been revealed.
The statement also said the family member was "furious" when reports about his drug overdose was all over the news and said if that was indeed true, the doctors would have made it public.
''Everyone keeps saying that (DMX) had a drug overdose. How do they know? I'm in the family and no doctor told me anything about an overdose. Yes he had past issues with drugs. But nobody knows that he had an OD. It's f*****d up that its being reported like that," he said.
Fans and celebrities alike are pouring their well wishes on Twitter praying and hoping that the rapper comes out of his situation and leads a normal healthy life all over again.

Stimulus checks are having a different result. Within 24 hours after monies received drug overdoses. So much money and other assistance monies have also resulted in no rent monies being paid for months. Landlord reports to sheriff and has to pay $25. dollars. Papers served for another $25. dollars. Court another $25. dollar fee. This is after living several months rent free. Property trashed and media attacks. This in western Maryland. Landlord must pay his taxes,no help for him or her. I didn't ask but who pays water, sewer or electric?. I can't imagine NYC. Ruby Tuesday declared bankruptcy a few months back because of their $10,000 a month lease expense in NYC. Only way out.
[BREITBART] The woke Lancet medical journal praises the Black Lives Matter protests in its latest issue, urging greater activism to overcome white supremacy ...the pernicious doctrine that laws were intended to be obeyed, that society works better when people don't pour shreiking from their places of worship every Friday for a weekend of rioting over insults real or imagined; and that cannibalism, beastiality, incest, murder, theft, rape, and similar activities are bad. A Dead White European (which invalidates his opinion) philosopher once opined that societies thrive when a person's word can be relied upon, and that a society which puts individual happiness first will invariably fail. Strangely enough, other successful societies, such as China, Japan, Korea, and those kinds of places could also be lumped with white supremacist societies, since they push the same values... In an article titled "Racism Is the Public Health Crisis," UK-based Professor of Black Studies Kehinde Andrews asserts that the Black Lives Matter movement "needs to be seen in the wider context of the mobilisations during the 20th century, ranging from civil rights and Black Power to the Third World movements across the globe."
Racism needs to be confronted as a systemic problem embedded in western society and its institutions, Andrews insists, rather than a problem of individual prejudice.
An unfortunate pattern can be detected in how western society deals with crises of racism involving "shock, hand-wringing, and commitment to change, but no commitment to systemic change," Andrews laments.
"Racism is typically reduced to individual acts of prejudice or seen as a series of flashpoints, usually triggered by some violent mostly peaceful act," he writes. "When confronted with an unavoidable truth about the nature of inequality, some politicians and policy makers seem reluctant to come to terms with the realities of structural racism."

[The Federalist] A judge in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California awarded a permanent injunction to the National Abortion Federation (NAF) on Wednesday, ordering that undercover videos recorded by pro-life activist and journalist David Daleiden are to remain sealed.
After Daleiden and other journalists from the Center for Medical Progress recorded videos of Planned Parenthood officials discussing the trafficking of aborted baby body parts at NAF conferences and trade shows, NAF requested and was awarded a temporary injunction on Daleiden’s footage in July 2016.
On Feb 17, 2021, a hearing was held to determine whether that temporary injunction, which was keeping more than 200 hours of footage out of the public eye, should be made permanent. Judge William Orrick insinuated he had already made up his mind.
"The real question I’m interested in is the scope of the injunction," he said at the virtual hearing. "I think the general arguments that the defendants have raised against injunctive relief aren’t persuasive."
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] The Kremlin said Friday it fears the resumption of full-scale fighting in eastern Ukraine and could take steps to protect civilians there, a stark warning that comes amid a Russian troop buildup along the border.
The statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin ...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances... ’s front man, Dmitry Peskov, reflected the Kremlin’s determination to prevent Ukraine from using force to try to retake control over separatist-controlled territory in the country's east.

We don't even know the truth about what is happening there. Our mainstream media wouldn't tell us if they knew. But we don't care either. It's none of our business.

[BenarNews] China is upgrading two of its civilian South China Sea supply ships with new high-tech surveillance equipment to help the vessels track ships from the United States, Vietnam and other foreign countries, new Chinese government procurement documents show.
This is just the latest instance of the Chinese government leveraging civilian assets to pursue its national security interests in the null, a common practice under China’s strategy of "military-civil fusion."
The project contract was awarded Thursday to Zhejiang Dali Science and Technology Co. Ltd. by Sansha City, which is responsible for administering China’s maritime and territorial claims in the South China Sea.
Dali, which appears to also work with the Chinese military, is set to provide a pair of its "DLS-16T Long-Distance Optoelectronic Monitoring Systems" for use on the city’s two main supply ships — the Sansha 1 and Sansha 2 — for 3,830,000 yuan ($547,000).
MULTI-FUNCTION SUPPLY SHIPS
The Sansha 1 and Sansha 2 are mainly tasked with supplying Woody Island, which is China’s largest base in the Paracels and serves as the headquarters for Sansha City. Though the Paracels are claimed by Vietnam and Taiwan as well, only China occupies any features in the archipelago.
But both ships have also ventured farther south to the Spratlys, where China is locked in maritime and territorial disputes with Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan and Brunei.
The Sansha 1 came into service in January 2015 and the Sansha 2 completed its maiden voyage in August 2019. This allowed the city’s older Qiongsha 3 supply ship to focus on supplying China’s settlements in the Crescent Group in the Paracels, state-run Hainan Daily reported.
State-owned CSSC Guangzhou Shipyard International, which built the Sansha 2, said the 128-meter ship would integrate "transportation and supply, administrative jurisdiction, emergency rescue command, emergency medical assistance and island and reef scientific survey capabilities."
The company also stated that the Sansha 2 would "play an important role in defending the motherland’s southern gate" — which is how China sometimes refers to its claimed territory in the disputed South China Sea.
[Just The News] Former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday suggested that United States athletes should boycott next year's Olympian competitions in China, calling them "Genocide Olympics" in reference to China's alleged humanitarian crises while noting Major League Baseball's recent move from Georgia over a comparably tame voting law.
China has received sustained criticism from both the Trump and Biden administrations in large part due to the country's mass imprisonment of its ethnic Uyghur population. Critics have argued that Beijing's policy of alleged brainwashing and forced assimilation of Uyghurs amounts to an effective genocide against that demographic.
In a tweet on Friday, Pompeo highlighted Major League Baseball's recent cancellation of its Atlanta-based All-Star game over Georgia's recent election reform law.
[Tbe National Interest] ere's What You Need to Remember: India wants modern weapons, but it also wants to produce more of them domestically.
The Indian Army could soon be equipped with a truly odd mix of small arms as it seeks to phase out its aging INSAS (Indian Small Arms System) domestically-produced assault rifles and light machine guns, which have been in use since 1998. Over the past two years, New Dehli purchased nearly 150,000 SIG 715 model rifles, chambered in 7.62mm NATO. The New Hampshire based Sig Sauer had announced the latest deal last July, and that followed the original contract from February 2019, which saw about half of the rifles delivered under a fast-track procurement (FTP) program.
In addition to the American-made SIG 715, the Indian Army will also receive the Kalashnikov AK-203, which is being produced as part of a joint venture with Russia’s Kalashnikov Concern and India’s Amethi ordnance factory.
This week Tass reported that Russia’s state arms seller Rosoboronexport, which is part of the state tech corporation Rostec, has prepared a contract for signing with India on the delivery of the latest 7.62x39mm AK-203 assault rifles.
"The contract for the delivery of Kalashnikov AK-203 assault rifles to the Defense Ministry of India by the Russian-Indian joint venture Indo-Russian Private Rifles Limited has been worked out and is ready for signing," a spokesperson for state arms exporter said during the Aero India 2021 international air and aerospace trade show in Bangalore.
This also marked the first time that Rosoboronexport publicly demonstrated the AK-203 assault rifle designated for the Indian Army. Tass noted that compared to the baseline AK-203 version, the variant being produced for India has a fixed side-folding stock, but is otherwise similar in design to the version being employed by the Russian military.
The assault rifle weighs 3.8 kg empty, and it has a rate of fire of 700 rounds per minute and is accurate to a range of 800 meters. The AK-203 assault rifle designed for the Indian Amy features a 415mm barrel and it is equipped with a Picatinny rail, which can be used with a variety of sights or scopes as well as flashlight and other equipment.
A source in the Indian ground forces reportedly told TASS at the Aero India aerospace show that the AK-203 assault rifle fully meets the requirements of the military. The weapon’s characteristics, in particular, its accuracy, reliability and the weight to fire efficiency ratio is optimal for India’s military.
The new domestically-produced variant will be used to speed up the phasing out of the aging INSAS weapons, but it will mean that India’s military will have two assault rifles that are similar in size yet fire different 7.62mm cartridges.
The AK-203 was among the more than 200 defense products presented by Russia at Aero India 2021, the largest aerospace and military trade show in the Asian nation.

Heh heh... these things are written by civ spokespersons for the defense ministry, guys who wouldn't know folded stockings from folding stocks. The total range is approx 800m. Effective range is only 450-500 m.
It's an intermediate range high caliber assault weapon for us, because intermediate range assaulting's what we mostly do, and the current tempo needs fatalities.
We actually needed this more than ten years ago. Why we needed it? Because the INSAS, the indigenously produced plastic shit copied in parts from the FN 5.56 and the Galil was rejected by troops. It was only this present administration that went to the grunts themselves to inquire just what they needed. And that too after years of dallying with contractors and being wooed by manufacturers. They figured that with China and the islamics pushing skirmishes every day, it was probably a good idea to give the lads new gear.

It was always the Lee Enfield here. The Brits gave us an organized army, war doctrines and drills, and their weapons and routines were the ones that saw us through the tough years.

Thanks B. I watched the entire clip. Rex is a good presenter. Kind of a depressing basement but one works with what one has. If I didn't already have a good bench, I'd be building this one. One thing I added to mine is heavy-duty locking casters to the legs so I can move it around easily.

Put locking castors under sandwiched 2x6's on my air compressor last winter. Helps me move it around to clean the shop. At my age, I've gained an appreciation for....things that roll.
