Tactics for Success, No. 9: DonÂ’t Get on GovÂ’t Support
March 28, 2014 - imwong - File under Our Immigration Blog
In her book, The ImmigrantÂ’s Way, available in the downloadable Kindle format, or paperback, Margaret W. Wong describes twenty-two tactics the foreign born person can use to ensure her stay in the USA is as long as she wants it to be.
We will present for you one of her strategies every week in this space.
9. Do not get on government support, even if those around us think it is free.
Nothing is free in life. Once we get Medicaid, Medicare, or Welfare, it is very hard to get green cards or to become United States Citizens. The more we do this, the more we play into the American stereotype of immigrants wanting something for free and living off “real” Americans’ money.
We are strong and good people. We can work for what we are entitled to in the United States. Although we may be poor in legal status, we should try very hard to not be on government support.

I'm actually astounded to read this. They have cracked the code. Turns out we are a very welcoming country to hard working, industrious immigrants. Whooda Thunkit?

Auntie Zetunie is a world class mooch illegal immigrant since she slithered into our country and its pocketbook. Google her and tremble at the Audacity of Entitlement.
Oblah blah's other relative the drunk driver illegal immigrant has also gamed the system and continues to live in Bay State under the auspices of the Mass courts.

To be fair, Uncle Omar does have a job (some liquor store in / near Framingham), but yeah, Omar's been here illegally for about forty years.

I believe we all know what was going on here, it's the doing something about it with the worthless, crooked sob's current regime that is the challenge.
[WASHINGTONTIMES] Even as the IRS faces growing heat over Lois G. Lerner and the tea party targeting scandal, a government watchdog said Wednesday it's pursuing cases against three other tax agency employees and offices suspected of illegal political activity in support of President B.O. and fellow Democrats.
In one case the Office of Special Counsel, which investigates federal employees who conduct politics on government time, said it was "commonplace" in a Dallas IRS office for employees to have pro-Obama screensavers on their computers, and to have campaign-style buttons and stickers at their office.
In another case, a worker at the tax agency's customer help line urged taxpayers "to re-elect President B.O. in 2012 by repeatedly reciting a chant based on the spelling of his last name," the Office of Special Counsel said in a statement.
OSC said it is seeking "significant disciplinary action" against that employee.
Another IRS employee in Kentucky has agreed to serve a 14-day suspension for blasting Republicans in a conversation with a taxpayer.
"They're going to take women back 40 years," the IRS employee said in a conversation that was recorded. The employee also said that "if you vote for a Republican, the rich are going to get richer and the poor are going to get poorer."
That employee went on to tell the taxpayer she knew she wasn't supposed to be voicing her political opinions, and asked the taxpayer not to say anything.
In the Dallas situation, the OSC issued a letter to employees reminding them they aren't allowed to do anything that would appear to be campaigning.
"Specifically, it was alleged that employees have worn partisan political stickers, buttons, and clothing to work and have displayed partisan political screensavers on their IRS computers. It was alleged that these items expressed support for President Barack Obama Dreams of My Sainted Father... ," the OSC said.
The federal Hatch Act prohibits most government employees from conducting politics on government time. OSC is charged with looking into those violations.

The only way this crap's going to get fixed is to suspend people without pay and / or shitcanning them by the hundreds.
Then again, I remember what Mickey Kaus pointed out years ago - 'Do you know how difficult it is to fire a Federal employee?', so I won't hold my breath on this one.

Another example of Civil Service's long beyond its expiration date. At least with the spoils system you'd get a change over in personnel and attitude somewhere along the line.

Fired and banned from working from public service or working for any non-profits that work with the government.
That or jail.
A message must be sent. I know it won't happen under the current administration and the Republicans are likely to avoid looking into this stuff because they'll want to "set a new tone" or some nonsense.

I work 5 blocks from the Dallas IRS office, three blocks from the ritzy digs of the regional EPA offices at fountain plaza, 7 blocks from the very expensive Federal Reserve neighborhood.
These people are pampered by the regime. Blinded by the love. Hateful of anyone else. The IRS are hiring young goons with no experience and are told to be butt holes to small businesses (or any other capitalist free enterprise establishments) in Texas that for what ever reason get into a bind on their taxes. Totally unreasonably calloused idiots from out of states liberal enclaves shipped in to be jerks.
I am glad there are some people on the federal level still around to go after these morons.

Hatch Act. Those SOBs were violating the law. Federal and DC employees may NOT engage in political activity while:
on duty
in a government office
wearing an official uniform
using a government vehicle
distribute campaign material in partisan elections
and may NOT wear partisan political buttons on duty
The punishment is removal from federal employment.
Statute of limitations is 7 years. Next president, if a Republican, should fire the lot of them for violation.

Would you feel the same way if they were Ron Paul stickers?
Just askin, only you know the answer.
I would feel the same if they had posters for my campaign as Emperor of the Universe. Violation of the Hatch Act and they need to go along with most of the other agencies.

Doesn't matter the pol or party - government agencies should be non-partisan, and any partisan people should be pursued relentlessly, rooted out and removed. With prejudice.

Every period before the election, the DoD, at least, repeatedly sends out notice about what its military, civilians, and contractor can and cannot be done during a campaign season.
If you're a government employee in a different agency or department. your mileage may vary.
[Daily Caller] Texas Republican congressman Blake Farenthold refused to ask Eric Holder questions during a Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday, saying the attorney general should "be in jail" for ignoring congressional subpoenas instead of testifying before Congress. Hat tip to Farenthold. I couldn't agree more.

Time to revamp the John Mitchell wing of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Been already done to whitey for conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and perjury, so it can't be racist.

3dc, I'd tell you to try Firefox but that'd be knuckling under to OKCupid. IE sucks so I dunno what I'm supposed to do except send money to Blake's campaign fund.
Holder should be in prison for deliberate multiple and repeated violation of the law, dereliction of duty, negligence, and breaking his oath of office.
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
