[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] First-year UCLA medical students were forced to sit through a bizarre lecture by a pro-Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",activist muppet who made them pray to 'mama Earth' while a faculty member sought to identify one student who refused to participate.
Lisa Gray-Garcia gave the two-hour presentation at Geffen Hall, on the university's downtown campus on March 27.
The lecture was a mandatory part of the Structural Racism and Health Equity class that all future doctors must take, administered by pediatrician Lindsay Wells.
Gray-Garcia calls herself a 'poverty skola', keeps her face covered with a keffiyeh except in a few interviews, and called Hamas' October 7 attack 'justified'.
Students were instructed to touch the floor with their fists while she made a 'non-secular' prayer to 'mama Earth' and our 'ancestors', a complaint stated.
'Mama earth was never meant to be bought, sold, pimped, or played,' Gray-Garcia said during the prayer, part of which was recorded by a student and given to the Washington Free Beacon.

[NYPOST] The Justice Department filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the state of Utah and its prison system after a transgender inmate "removed her own testicles" in response to "unnecessarily delayed" treatment for her gender dysphoria.
The lawsuit alleges that the incarcerated transgender woman — unnamed in the complaint — was discriminated against by the Utah Department of Corrections following "multiple requests to UDOC staff for treatment for gender dysphoria, including multiple requests for hormone therapy" upon entering the state prison system in 2021.
The inmate was diagnosed with gender dysphoria in June 2022, nine months after she first requested hormone therapy, and the hormones were not provided to her until January 2023, according to the complaint.

signed a declaration on Tuesday, which authorizes the deployment of several Montana National Guardsmen to aid in Operation Lone Star. He joined "The Faulkner Focus" to discuss his decision to take action as a northern governor.
"I declared an emergency so we could mobilize Montana National Guard troops to go down and fulfill a request that we got for Governor Abbott," Gianforte told Harris Faulkner on Wednesday. "I was down in Shelby Park. We saw how effective National Guard troops are at securing the border."
"We're pleased to join Governor Abbott in Operation Lone Star to secure the border," he continued. "We've had enough fentanyl confiscated, literally, to kill every American in our country. It has to stop. The Biden border policy has been as effective as a screen door on a submarine. It's completely porous, and if he won't do his job, we're going to do it for him."
The emergency declaration authorizes members of the National Guard to help secure the border, and they will help Texas officials beginning next week through May 12, according to the governor's office.
Gianforte said Montana has been drastically affected by the border surge and issues stemming from the Mexican drug cartels, despite neighboring the Canadian border.
"We are arresting Mexican cartel members here in Montana," Gianforte said. "We've seen a 78% increase in fentanyl just in the last year, and meth continues to be a problem. We don't have Montana meth, though. We have Mexican meth that is profiting the cartels and killing the citizens of our state."
Gianforte confronted the president at a White House governors' meeting in February over his silence on a Republican-backed proposal to secure the border. The governor again presented Biden with the 2021 plan and said he is still waiting for a response.
"I think the primary responsibility of the federal government is national security," Gianforte said. "It comes before everything else, and yet he's been sitting on his hands... Twenty-seven governors presented a 10-point plan to him two and a half years ago. I, again, handed it to him at the White House earlier this year just asking for a meeting, and it's been crickets. We've heard nothing in response."
"We should have bipartisan support to secure the border," he continued. "We're a country made up of immigrants. We want immigration, but it needs to occur legally, not crossing the river in the middle of the night."

[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] The Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against the Utah Department of Corrections after a biological male inmate who identifies as a woman performed a self-castration in protest over the delay in "gender-affirming" care.
The unidentified prisoner was allegedly found to be suffering from gender dysphoria by prison doctors, though a formal diagnosis was not given until nine months later. Six months later, cross-sex hormones were prescribed. The complaint also alleges that the prison failed to accommodate the inmate's requests for "reasonable modifications" to some of its sex-based policies.
These "reasonable modifications" included: transfer to the women's cell block, requests to purchase female undergarments, clothes, and makeup, and requests to be pat searched by only female officers. These were all denied.
According to the DOJ, "because UDOC failed to provide her equal access to health care services and reasonable modifications for her gender dysphoria to enable her to live consistently with her gender identity (female), Complainant's distress over the incongruence between her gender identity and assigned sex worsened, leading her to perform self-surgery to remove her own testicles in May 2023."
The DOJ argued that UDOC "discriminated against" the inmate "on the basis of her disability," referring to the gender dysphoria.
"By not allowing me this opportunity to live my life as a woman, who I believe I am and have lived life for many years," the inmate wrote in an Americans with Disabilities Act request, "the prison is causing me such mental stress in the form of anxiety, depression..."
The DOJ argued that UDOC violated Title II of the ADA, and called on the prison system to provide individuals suffering from gender dysphoria with the appropriate services, including the ability to present as they wish. The agency also requested "compensatory damages" be paid to the now testicle-less prisoner.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized the importance of Carr Johnson's role in advancing DEIA within the agency.
"American diplomacy can only succeed if it fully harnesses all of the talent that our nation has to offer. That is why I created the position of CDIO to elevate DEIA within our organization and give it the dedicated senior-level attention that it deserves," said Blinken in a statement.

[NYPost] Far-left "Squad" Rep. Jamaal Bowman is in deep trouble in his bid for a third term in the House of Representatives. In a shocking new poll obtained exclusively by The Post Wednesday, Westchester County Executive George Latimer leads Bowman 52% to 35% among Democratic primary voters in the 16th Congressional District, which takes in southern Westchester County and parts of the northeast Bronx.
Among Democrats who voted in at least three of the last four primaries, Latimer’s lead grows to 21 percentage points — 56% to 35%, according to the survey conducted by veteran Democratic pollster Mark Mellman for the pro-Latimer Democratic Majority for Israel.
Among Democrats who say they know both Latimer and Bowman — 76% of the primary electorate— Latimer’s lead expands even further to 26 points (60% to 34%).
A major problem for Bowman is that Latimer has a far better image among voters than the incumbent, who has been damaged by his self-inflicted actions and rhetoric.
The job performance of Latimer, 70, who has held various offices in Westchester since the late 1980s, is viewed positively by 68% of Democrats in the district while only 18% view him negatively.
"Latimer does 32 points better on the positive side, while Bowman’s negatives are a massive 37 points higher than Latimer’s," Mellman said.
"Very few unindicted elected officials receive such strongly negative ratings from their co-partisans."
Bowman, 48, pleaded guilty last year to one misdemeanor count of falsely pulling a fire alarm in the Cannon House Office Building to delay a vote to avert a partial government shutdown.
