[Washington Examiner] President Trump appeared to kill the prospect of making a deal on the Deferred Actions for Childhood Arrivals program as a caravan of thousands of migrant workers make their way through Mexico toward the U.S.
Trump, after wishing the country a happy Easter holiday, tweeted a plea to Republican senators to change the rules of the upper chamber to pass tough new immigration laws.
"Border Patrol Agents are not allowed to properly do their job at the Border because of ridiculous liberal (Democrat) laws like Catch & Release. Getting more dangerous. ’Caravans’ coming. Republicans must go to Nuclear Option to pass tough laws NOW. NO MORE DACA DEAL!" Trump tweeted.

'All American Division' Provisional Task Force meets illegal caravans at the border and turns them away. Temporary border encampments established. 90 day rotational brigades assist with foot patrols, tactical drones, and wall construction using DoD budget and Army Engineer Battalions augmenting contractors, deploy ground sensors, establish drop zone (DZ) and landing zone (LZ) for resupply, airborne quick reaction force (QRF), etc. Secretary Mattis jumps in and is greeted by Task Force commander. Stays for chow and rifle range events.
I will be happy to write Operational Order (OPORD), survey drop zone, act as reception committee. Pay my own way, bring my own vehicle and chow.

Line the border with those South Korean turrets that don't really do IFF, just open up on anything that moves. Post signs saying "If you cross the border, you will die."

Time to go read Camp of Saints, if you haven't already. It's really quite prescient for something written back in '73. From le Wiki:
The Camp of the Saints is a 1973 French novel by author and explorer Jean Raspail. The novel depicts the destruction of Western civilization through Third World mass immigration to France and the West
Raspail has said his inspiration came while at the French Riviera in 1971, as he was looking out at the Mediterranean.
What if they were to come? I did not know who "they" were, but it seemed inevitable to me that the numberless disinherited people of the South would, like a tidal wave, set sail one day for this opulent shore, our fortunate country’s wide-gaping frontier.
[The Federalist] Friends of McCabe are raising funds to help him deal with the legal fallout from an 'extended humiliation' at the hands of President Trump.
The official GoFundMe account for fired FBI Deputy Andrew McCabe has reached $400,000, less than a day after his friends set up the page to help him deal with what they call an "extended humiliation" at the hands of the Trump administration.
Some 10,000 people have participated so far in the crowdfunding effort, which will help pay for McCabe’s legal defense. Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired him just days before he was slated to retire, dispossessing him of his pension and benefits, on the grounds that he was not candid under oath. McCabe denies he was dishonest, and plans to fight the loss of benefits.
His friends gushed over his "unblemished" career at the FBI on the GoFundMe page, and characterized the powerful D.C. insider as the victim of a "completely unjustified" firing by a cruel administration.

He did not lose his pension. Only that the payment of said pension was delayed to 62 years of age (or there abouts) instead of collecting it immediately.
#2
Will he lose his pension if he’s convicted of criminal abuse of office? Because he’ll lose and go to jail, and then all those donations won’t be available for politics.
#7
Because the media is portraying his firing as a Trump tantrum collusion interfering obstruction of justice, a lot of those donating have no clue.
McCabe's firing was recommended by the OPR and the DoJ IG. When you get those kinds of recommendations, you pretty much have to follow them...and then it was Sessions who did the firing.
The media has spun the story on McCabe's firing beyond all recognition.
#8
The desperation on the left is due to the message his firing two days before early retirement sends to the rest of the Deep State and Never Trumpers
If he can get fired at the rewarding threshold, why can't you?

[Breitbart] Nearly 100 recently arrested MS-13 gang members arrived in the United States by crossing through the U.S.-Mexico border as "unaccompanied minors" and then getting resettled throughout the country by the federal government.
About 475 gang members have been arrested by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency’s "Operation Matador" sting, with 99 of those gang members arrested having arrived in the U.S. as "unaccompanied minors."
[Washington Examiner] Paddleboaters at DC Cherry Blossom Festival find dead body in Tidal Basin.
A body was seen being taken into the small boat. As the boat made its way back to shore, the body that had been pulled from the water was covered in a yellow blanket.
The National Park Service told the Washington Examiner the D.C. Metro Police Department is overseeing the investigation into the incident.
D.C. police did not return multiple requests for comment and one outlet reported police would not comment on the cause of death or identity of the man.
The paddleboat services were shut down within an hour of the recovery.
The incident comes in the midst of the National Cherry Blossom Festival at the Tidal Basin and the final days before the trees reach peak bloom.
A similar incident took place in April 2013, when a corpse was found in the water of the Tidal Basin.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Since the unified sermon for a Friday prayer in Kuwait last week stirred controversy for linking moral decay to granting women freedom and for slamming yoga and physical activity, deeming them reflective of atheism, one Yoga instructor stepped up.
Ruba Mohammed, a Yoga expert and instructor in Egypt, explained to Al Arabiya the nature of this sport, its benefits and how it’s linked to mediation.
“Yoga means union or communication between the self and the universe, and between the soul and the body,” said Mohammed.
“In order to achieve this union or communication, it must be done through a portal called meditation. This is achieved by yoga,” she added.
According to Mohammed, there are three types of meditation in Yoga.
Types of meditation
The first is moving meditation. Movement in this type of meditation can be slow, fast or moderate depending on its goal. Mainly, movement meditation focuses muscle contraction and relaxation, circulation and flexibility.
The second is vocal meditation. This type is split into two categories. The first is known as Prima, which is essentially concentrates on breathing. This type aims to train a person how to breathe in a deeper and better way.
The second category is known as Mantra, this focuses on sounds that signal vibrations to rid the body from negative energy.
The third type is mind meditation, which seeks to improve the individual’s thinking process.
The instructor continued to explain that meditation is the means by which the individual reaches a state of union with himself or the universe. Each meditation type has its own set of positions, she added.
Yoga benefits
Mohammed explained that one of the modes of meditation “affects the individual physically and psychologically. It reduces anxiety and tension, increases self-confidence, creativity and stimulates a more flexible body.”
Yoga also “prolongs muscle life, improves the digestive system and reduces back pain and neck problems,” she added.
Another meditation position seeks to “calm the mind and spread a sense of peace and serenity. It stimulates internal organ functions, treats headaches, blood pressure and osteoporosis. It also seeks to rid the person from depression,” said Mohammed.
The instructor said that “Yoga seeks to allow an individual to reflect on God’s creations, what does atheism have to do with this?”
“Yoga has spread in recent years because of people’s desire to feel safe, calm, serene and maintain clarity of mind from life’s pressures,” she added.

[All Africa] A court in Mauritania has sentenced two slave owners to between 10 and 20 years in jail. Human rights activists have celebrated the ruling, which they say is the harshest anti-slavery decision in the country's history.
The two cases were brought by former slaves in the northwestern town of Nouadhibou, activists said Friday.
A special court delivered its verdict on Wednesday, jailing a man for 20 years and a woman for 10 years, a judicial source said.
The man was found guilty of enslaving a family, including two children, while the woman was accused of holding three sisters as slaves.
"This is a big victory," Jakub Sobik of Anti-Slavery International told news agency Rooters. "The sentences are quite high and in line with the law, which is by no means a given."
Slavery still common
Mauritania has one of the highest rates of slavery in the world, even though the practice was officially abolished there in 1981. According to the 2016 Global Slavery Index, 1 in 100 people still live as slaves in the conservative West African country.
Despite the law, descendants of certain ethnic groups are often born into slavery, working without pay as cattle herders and domestic servants.
In 2015, Mauritania adopted a new law declaring slavery a "crime against humanity" punishable by up to 20 years in jail. It also set up specialized anti-slavery tribunals in Nouadhibou, the capital Noukachott and in Nema in the southeast.
Few slave owners have been prosecuted, however, and activists complain the laws are rarely enforced. In 2016, the court in Nema jugged ... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not... two men for five years over slavery charges.
The head of anti-slavery association SOS Esclavage, Boubacar Ould Messaoud, praised the latest rulings, but noted that there were a number of similar cases "pending for several years" at the three courts.
At the same time, rights groups say they face growing repression and harassment, with more anti-slavery activists than slave-owners facing prosecution.

[All Africa] Government's $10 million package to former President Bob Muggsy Mugabe Nonagenarian President-for-Life of Zim-bob-we who turned the former Breadbasket of Africa into the African Basket Case. Dumped in November 2017 when the Missus decided she wanted to be president, and opposed heer might against Crocodile Mnangawa Important safety tip: If your opponent goes by the name Crocodile andf your title is Shopper in Chief let him win.... is nothing short of "asset stripping", Zapu leader Dumiso Dabengwa has said. Zapu is back. I was wondering what happened to them.
In his party manifesto ahead of elections expected later this year, Dabengwa a former Home Affairs minister in Mugabe's administration said his party will introduce a leaner government with less concentration of power on "one person".
"Currently, the executive authority is excessively centralized in the person of the president. This enables the president to introduce instruments such as the jaw-dropping exit package offered to the former president, Robert Mugabe, which amounted to asset-stripping from our broke country and bleeding of citizens and future generations," said Dabengwa.
A wartime hero in which he served as Zapu's intelligence supremo, Dabengwa who walked out of Zanu PF to revive his old party in 2009, said the current system of governance gave those in power room to engage in patronage politics.
"In addition, the current system of appointment of ministers is characterized by nepotism and patronage. The result is a bloated government that gobbles up a huge part of the national fiscus," he said.
Dabengwa added: "A Zapu government will establish a lean executive based on the principle of collective responsibility and proper accountability to Parliament and the people; make sure colossal long-tern burdening of citizens is scrutinized and approved by Parliament; streamline and restructure the entire governmental system to ensure efficiency and effectiveness".
Since he revived the party, Dabengwa has remained out of Parliament and will be contesting as a presidential candidate.
Dabengwa recently walked out of a coalition with former Energy minister Elton Mangoma with whom he had, along with other small parties, formed the Coalition of Democrats (CODE).

[TheTimes] London overtook New York in murders for the first time in modern history in February as the capital endured a dramatic surge in knife crime.
Fifteen people were murdered in the capital, against 14 in New York. Both cities have almost exactly the same population.
London murders for March are also likely to exceed or equal New York’s. By late last night there had been 22 killings in the capital, according to the Metropolitan police, against 21 in the US city.
Eight Londoners were murdered between March 14 and March 20 alone and the total number of London murders, even excluding victims of terrorism, has risen by 38% since 2014. I wonder what Theresa May is doing - except from trying to provoke a war between USA and Russia - about that
[Townhall] Could a recent Buzzfeed news story force America to get even tougher with Mexico due to illegal immigration? Based on President Trump's tweets today, that answer is yes.
On Friday March 30th, BuzzFeed's Adolfo Flores documented shocking photos of more than 1,000 migrants from Central America marching through the streets Mexico on their way to the United States border. While the fact that migrants come through Mexico was not unsurprising, the sheer mass of people and the blatant unwillingness of Mexico's immigration agents to even bother with the problem was truly dismaying.
From BuzzFeed:
Taking a drag from her cigarette, a Mexican immigration agent looked out toward a caravan of migrants that grew larger with each step they took on the two-lane highway.
When the agent, who'd covered her uniform with an orange and white shawl, learned that the Central American migrants heading her way numbered more than 1,000, she took off for the restaurant across the street.
"I'm going to have a relaxing Coke," she told BuzzFeed News.
For five days now hundreds of Central Americans ‐ children, women, and men, most of them from Honduras ‐ have boldly crossed immigration checkpoints, military bases, and police in a desperate, sometimes chaotic march toward the United States. Despite their being in Mexico without authorization, no one has made any effort to stop them.
Organized by a group of volunteers called Pueblos Sin Fronteras, or People Without Borders, the caravan is intended to help migrants safely reach the United States, bypassing not only authorities who would seek to deport them, but gangs and cartels who are known to assault vulnerable migrants.
Organizers like Rodrigo Abeja hope that the sheer size of the crowd will give immigration authorities and criminals pause before trying to stop them.
"If we all protect each other we'll get through this together," Abeja yelled through a loudspeaker on the morning they left Tapachula, on Mexico's border with Guatemala, for the nearly monthlong trek.
When they get to the US, they hope American authorities will grant them asylum or, for some, be absent when they attempt to cross the border illegally. More likely is that it will set up an enormous challenge to the Trump administration's immigration policies and its ability to deal with an organized group of migrants numbering in the hundreds.
The number of people who showed up to travel with the caravan caught organizers by surprise, and has overwhelmed the various towns they've stopped in to spend the night. Pueblos Sin Fronteras counted about 1,200 people on the first day.
About 80% of them are from Honduras. Many said they are fleeing poverty, but also political unrest and violence that followed the swearing in of Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández after a highly contested election last year. The group often breaks into chants of "out with JOH." They also chant "we aren't immigrants, we're international workers" and "the people united will never be defeated."
Apparently, this type of commute is the preferred method of illegal aliens because it guarantees safety in numbers.
Organized by a group of volunteers called Pueblos Sin Fronteras, or People Without Borders...
A group which deserves the full attention of the US government. This stunt cannot be legal, which means everyone involved is part of a conspiracy. It likely violates any number of international treaties -- and the ones I'd look at most closely are those involving human trafficking.

This is an invasion - time to deploy troops to the border area where they're heading, preferably with shoot to kill orders.
A few shots to take out the organizers -- who are, frankly, slavers and wannabe murderers -- and the mob will disperse to become Mexico's problem.

[Hushkit.net] Russia reveals wreckage of US Blackbird spyplane shot down in 1983
Lockheed_SR-71_Blackbird.jpg
There’s a gorgeous photo of the thing at the link. We’ll wait while you take a look, dear Reader.
Western observers stunned as Russian Ministry of Defence shares evidence that a US spyplane was shot down over the USSR during the Cold War. The shoot-down of the seemingly invulnerable jet, capable of flight at over 2,000mph, has not been acknowledged by either side until now. Mainly because it didn't fecking happen, but please do go on.
Yesterday, at a press conference in Moscow, Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation spokesperson Alexei Obmanov shared images and documents that conclusively prove a US SR-71 Blackbird spyplane was downed close to a remote Siberian village in 1983. It's very possible they have parts of a D-21 drone, which was supposed to piggyback on the Blackbird but never quite worked like that - it ended up being launched from international airspace by B-52s. One of them may have ended up inside the USSR, that story is unclear.
According to Obmanov, the aircraft was intercepted by a pair of Soviet Air Defence Forces (PVO) MiG-31 interceptors. The intruding US aircraft was tracked for 93 miles (150 km), and five radio warnings issued, before the Soviet aircraft opened fire. Three missiles were fired, with the second two hitting and destroying the American aircraft. The two aircrew successfully ejected from the aircraft. The wreckage, which was recovered from the Siberian village of Durakovo, was sent to the Gromov Flight Research Institute 25 miles (40 km) south-east of Moscow for analysis. Ummmmmm, no. Way too many recorded instances of Blackbirds simply walking away from threats, and at the time there was nothing in the Soviet arsenal that could catch it. Cover up
According to Obmanov, a frantic diplomatic effort following the crash saw both sides agree to not publicly acknowledge the incident, an agreement that lasted 35 years. It was feared by both sides that the incident, which occurred at the height of Cold War tensions, could be potentially inflammatory. ...So they kept THIS quiet but didn't say anything when we landed on them with both feet for KAL 007 that same year? There's a word for that, and it rhymes with 'full kit'.
According to Ben Shearer, from the ANOITO Defence Research Institute, A defense research institute so important that it apparently has zero internet presence - Google shows no mention of it.
the deal was mutually beneficial as it also cloaked the alleged 'Submarine 545' incident - 'Submarine 545' refers to a long-denied incident of a Soviet submarine exercise that went badly wrong, and may have inadvertently released radioactive material off the coast of New York in the early 1980s (though no firm proof of the submarine incident has come to light). Ah-hah - a nonexistent shootdown is hidden so as to keep secret something else that didn't happen! My GAWD, these people are fiendishly clever. Wheels within wheels, y'know...
The pilot and reconnaissance systems officer (who remain unnamed) of the downed SR-71 were returned to the United States in 1984 in exchange for two Soviet diplomats arrested for espionage in 1975.
According to one US source we spoke to, "This is stunning news... a Blackbird loss has never been acknowledged. BECAUSE IT DIDN'T HAPPEN, YOU MORON.
As stunning as the loss itself is the mutual secrecy arrangements...I am now wondering what else is out there." In a time of mutual distrust between Washington and Moscow it is clear that the revelation is intended to embarrass the US.
The US Department of Defense has not commented on the revelation. Because they were too busy laughing their backsides off.

SR-71 and B-2 bomber are two of the most beautiful pieces of technology ever assembled by man. Regardless of their purpose, they are worth every penny taxpayers shelled out for them just because they are fabulous works of art. I'm no billionaire but if the Air Force ever starts selling tickets to ride either one of these birds I'd really love to get one.

[AnNahar] The U.N. Security Council has blacklisted 27 ships, 21 companies and a businessman for helping North Korea circumvent sanctions, as the United States keeps up pressure on Pyongyang despite its recent overtures toward talks, diplomats said.
Acting on a request from the United States, it was the largest-ever package of sanctions designations on North Korea approved by a council committee, diplomats said.
The move is part of a global crackdown on the smuggling of North Korean commodities in violation of U.N. sanctions resolutions, which were adopted in response to Pyongyang's nuclear and ballistic missile tests.

[KCNAWATCH.CO] Rodong Sinmun - An ultramodern submarine has recently been commissioned into the Maritime "Self-Defense Force" of Japan.
It is reported that the sub is able to submerge 500 meters deep and its military hardware ensures a powerful precision and long-distance strike at a target.
Japan plans to introduce the latest submarines into MSDF.
Of late the Japan "Self-Defense Forces", together with the U.S. forces, staged joint military exercises aimed to track and destroy submarines in the Pacific Ocean.
Japan increases the capability for preemptive attack and surprise strike by use of submarines. This is part of its sustained efforts to turn itself into a military giant with an aim of realizing its ambition for overseas expansion with the backing of the U.S.
Japan is clinging to the U.S. like a leech, thinking that it can realize without difficulties the ambition for overseas expansion with the backing of a big country.
It frequently stages joint military exercises with the U.S., accelerating the modernization of military hardware of the SDF under the patronage of its master to accumulate war experience for invading other countries.
The danger of war is increasingly becoming a reality in Asia due to the Japanese militarist forces.
Peace and security in the region are endangered owing to the Samurai descendents who are making desperate efforts to make up for defeat.
The Japanese reactionaries should discern the trend of the times. They may get into trouble if they view Asia today as what it used to be in the past.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The prime minister of the self-declared Tibetan government-in-exile urged his compatriots on Saturday to strengthen efforts to make the return of the Dalai Lama to his native land a reality.
Lobsang Sangay also said Tibet has seen 60 years of destruction of its civilization, culture and identity by the Chinese since the Dalai Lama, the Tibetans’ spiritual leader, fled to India in 1959.
The Dalai Lama and Sangay spoke at a public event in the northern Indian town of Dharmsala marking the beginning of the 60th year of the spiritual leader’s exile in India.
Sangay said the Dalai Lama "dreamt of himself in a room in the Potala Palace filled with light where he will be reunited with Tibetans inside Tibet." The Potala Palace in Lhasa was the residence of the Dalai Lama until he fled to India during the 1959 Tibetan uprising.
"We Tibetan people with the support of people of India and abroad should strengthen our efforts to make his return to his Potala Palace a reality," Sangay said. "Let us reunite the Dalai Lama with Tibetans inside Tibet who have spent the last 60 years with a hope, with a dream to get a glimpse of the Dalai Lama in their lifetime."
"Thousands and thousands of Tibetans have been killed and have died for the cause of Tibet. Many of them have burned themselves alive," he said in a hard-hitting speech.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Philippine central bank has sounded an alert to local financial institutions following a cyber attack at the Malaysian central bank, in which hackers sought to steal money using fraudulent wire transfers, its governor said on Saturday.
Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has said no funds were lost in the incident, which it identified on Tuesday, and involved falsified wire-transfer requests over the SWIFT bank messaging network, the latest in a series of electronic heists at financial institutions around the world.
"We issued a general alert reminder as soon as we got BNM advisory to be extra careful over the long holiday. Although banks already do that as SOP (standard operating procedure)," Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Nestor Espenilla said in a phone message.
"Information sharing is part of enhanced defensive protocols against cyber-crime," Espenilla said.
The alert was issued on Wednesday, and there had been no specific threat, officials said.
Bank Negara did not say who was behind the hack or how they accessed its SWIFT servers. The central bank, which supervises 45 commercial banks in Malaysia, said on Thursday there was no disruption to other payment and settlement systems the central bank operates because of the cyber attack.
In February 2016, the Philippine financial system was thrown into the global spotlight after $81 million that was stolen from Bangladesh central bank was channeled into several accounts at Manila-based Rizal Commercial Banking Corp (RCBC), before disappearing into the local casino industry.
The Bangladesh heist led financial institutions around the globe to bolster security. There is no word on who was responsible and Dhaka has been able to retrieve only about $15 million.
The Philippine central bank fined RCBC a record one billion pesos ($20 million) in 2016 for its failure to prevent the movement of the stolen money through it. RCBC has blamed rogue employees for the incident.

A group of students from Rockledge High School in Brevard County briefly walked out of class Friday to show their support for the Second Amendment.
About 75 students, according to a head count by school administrators, walked onto the school's track carrying the American flag and signs that said "guns don't kill people, people kill people" and "I support the right to bear arms." The event lasted about 20 minutes and then students returned to class.
The demonstration was organized by Chloe Deaton, a sophomore, and Anna Delaney, a junior, who are part of Rockledge High's Criminal Justice and Legal Studies Academy.
