[WND] Norma Hale, the mother of the Nashville Christian school shooter Audrey Hale, made multiple posts on social media in the past decrying school shootings and calling for increased gun control measures.
Norma Hale spoke with ABC News following Monday's shooting by her daughter at The Covenant School, which left three adults and three elementary school students dead.
"It is very, very difficult right now" for the family, Norma Hale told ABC before asking for privacy. Hey Normer, how about you just find a nice quiet corner in the basement and STFU ?
"I think I lost my daughter today," she added. Hopefully you've reached the point in life were spawning another murdering monster is no longer an option.
A neighbor told the news outlet that Audrey Hale lived with her parents, who were described as "very nice" and "very religious."

Before anyone is to hard on the parents apparently the shooter was on the spectrum and the transition was fairly recent. Could easily be that a single person messed with her head recently.
I think, one way or another, a How-To Guide came across her.
I don't think that someone who at age 28, with art and design as a professional vocation, is still not any better than a talented 10 year old has the discipline to put together this process on their own.

Too many kids and young people are decidedly not all right in these times. My younger one has been taken by the trans cult. I haven’t seen or communicated with her (now him) for over a year and a half. It is awful. And to see all of the institutions of power pushing this insanity makes my blood boil.

I pity the mom. A kid in the spectrum can be like a ship without a rudder. Art is a refuge. Not sure how exactly that ended up in rage and murder but that is becoming a default condition for our society. There is something loose that is feasting on our youth. I have one child that is lost in that as well.

Kids on the spectrum believe what they read, particularly explanations about why they are so out of tune with their peers. In earlier eras they’d have believed themselves possessed or bewitched. trailing daughter #1 and final daughter both believe themselves to be as3xual, when really it’s just that they are not now —and may never be — ready for the challenges and joys of a romantic relationship when they are already overwhelmed by their health and anxiety challenges. That they may also never be ready to live independently is just more of the same problem.
[Daily Caller] Illinois Republican Rep. Mary Miller and Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene sent a letter Tuesday to FBI Director Christopher Wray, demanding a number of answers regarding the shooting in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the letter before it was sent in which the two GOP lawmakers ask the FBI multiple questions on its obligation to investigate and arrest individuals engaging in violent extremism. Both Miller and Greene want to know if the FBI will be treating the shooting at the Christian private school, which left six victims dead, as a domestic terrorist attack.
"The FBI must treat the horrific attack in Nashville as a domestic terrorist attack based on the attacker’s transgender political ’manifesto’ and intentional targeting of Christians. FBI Director Wray testified to Congress that the gravest threat to our nation is posed by ’lone domestic violent extremists radicalized by personalized grievances,’ and the FBI cannot ignore their own guidance on this type of attack just because the Biden Administration supports the transgender political agenda," Miller told the Caller before sending the letter.
"I joined Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene in calling for a full investigation into the outside organizations encouraging violence, including the organizations promoting a ’Trans Day of Vengeance’ which appears to be a national call to violence. Our nation is facing a crisis because our society has turned away from God and is embracing a culture that tells children that life has no value. Cold, evil acts of violence, especially violence against children, is only possible for individuals who have lost their connection to humanity. I pray for the parents and children suffering in Nashville right now, and I am grateful for the swift action by brave police officers who saved countless lives," Miller added.

Government protecting trans deviants and their violent movements. Still no release of shooter manifesto or toxicology reports. Government WOKE 'Cone of Silence' in full play.
See also here. Day 1 can be seen here, Day 2 here and here. She apparently informed a friend that she was committing suicide that day. She did not mention she intended suicide by cop.
[NYPOST] Police have released frightening bodycam footage of the moment officers took out mass shooter Audrey Hale after she opened fire and massacred six people at The Covenant School.
The footage, released by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, shows officers Rex Englebert and Michael Collazo storming through the school’s hallways as they methodically hunted down the 28-year-old mass killer on Monday.
Soon after entering the building, the heroic cops could be seen rushing towards an atrium on the second floor of the private Christian academy while repeatedly shouting "shots fired."
As they rounded the corner and laid eyes on Hale, the bodycam shows officers rapidly firing as the shooter blasted bullets in their direction.
Seconds later, Hale could be seen dropping to the floor.
The footage shows cops cautiously approaching the shooter’s limp body as they screamed "don’t move" and "get your hands away from the gun."
Hale, who was armed with two rifles and a handgun, was killed in the shootout.
The mass killer — dressed in a red hat backward, military fatigue pants, and a dark vest — had earlier been captured on surveillance video casually stalking the hallways for victims as cops were rushing towards the scene.
Police said Hale managed to gain access to the school by pumping bullets through the glass doors on the side of the building.
After unleashing a reign of deadly terror, the shooter then started firing at arriving officers from the second-story window where she was eventually taken out.
[NYPOST] The gun-control-self-proclaimed genius mom of Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale begged for privacy after Monday’s mass murder, saying, "I think I lost my daughter today."
"It is very, very difficult right now," Norma Hale told ABC News when reached on the phone after her transgender ...mutton, dressed up as pork... child killed six, including three 9-year-old students. "I can’t talk to you."
The proud Christian mom — who has regularly posted on social media about the need to "Keep Guns Out of School" in anguish over previous massacres — did not mention the victims as she asked for privacy during the brief chat.
The reference to her "daughter" also appeared to be at odds with the mass killer’s LinkedIn profile using "he/him" pronouns and at times using the male name Aiden.
Police on Monday said officers were still investigating whether Hale’s transgender identity played any part in the motive, which appeared to have been outlined in a manifesto.

Government focuses discussion on weapons, not causes. Stop protecting these evil, deviant foks. Is 'Big Pharma' turning these people into monsters? Give us the tox report and manifesto. Give us the TRUTH !
Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri is calling for the federal government to investigate the deadly shooting perpetrated at a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday as a hate crime.
"I urge you to immediately open an investigation into this shooting as a federal hate crime," Hawley wrote in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas. "The full resources of the federal government must be brought to bear to determine how this crime occurred, and who may have influenced the deranged shooter to carry out these horrific crimes. Hate that leads to violence must be condemned. And hate crimes must be prosecuted."

Based on the Body Cam Video. I didn't we see a number so-called Assault weapons used to protect 100's of other students and reduce the Mentally ILL Trans's Carbon Footprint. to Zero?

Props to ALL of the commenters to this point. I thought the response team was a little Pell-mell but they did not run away, they ran to the sound of the guns. I owe you.

The response team reacted perfectly - absolutely no hesitation. I did not sense they were pell-mell at all. To be able to quickly find, fix, and finish in a chaotic situation with innocents present is a hard task. Especially when the target is moving and engaging you in return. Their urgency is trained...they are tasked to eliminate the threat as fast as possible before they can kill another child...no matter the cost to themselves or the team.
Their comms, C2 from the hall boss, movement/weapons orientation, accuracy, and sense of purpose were all near perfect.
The killer was eliminated within 17 minutes of entering the school (in a school that did not appear to have an SRO). From the initial call until termination that is unprecedented.

^ Yes, having armed personnel (with the training the officers in the video displayed) in place prior to the incident could have averted even more tragedy.
"The coward from Broward" they were not.

No disrespect intended, but I'll take a "pell-mell" response over dead children and teachers any day. Thankfully, waiting for a SWAT team or FBI HRT to climb into their pickle-suits, kevlar head gear, aviator gloves, and armored vehicles did NOT appear to be an option.
No telling how many people were saved.
BTW, I'm delighted the confused little SOB has turned in her Social Security Card.

^ Shhhhhh... If the SWAT and feeb HRT people get a read on how that worked out, regular cops will be banned from responding the way these guys did.

We have TONS of former Marine Infantry and Rangers who I'm sure would happily take a job working at a school with the mandate "If someone comes in shooting, exterminate them with EXTREME prejudice."

Well the sun was pretty quiet since 1997 and now is waking up again. Put your cell phones in your microwave if a storm is coming. It has a nice built in Faraday cage.

Does this mean that I have wasted me time shopping with a reusable shopping bag at Aldi or did we cause the sun to burp? I’ll wait for John Kerry to orchestrate my next move.

[NYPOST] New York state has agreed to pay $5.5 million to a man who was exonerated after spending 16 years in prison for the rape of award-winning novelist Alice Sebold when she was a student at Syracuse University in 1981, The Post has learned.Anthony Broadwater, 62, sued the state for damages after his conviction was overturned by a judge in November 2021 — nearly 22 years following his release from prison in 1999.
At a hearing last month, Syracuse Court of Claims Judge Ramon Rivera was presented with the $5.5 million settlement agreement signed by his attorneys and lawyers from the New York Attorney General’s office.
Rivera must still sign the agreement, but Broadwater’s lawyer Melissa Swartz told The Post on Monday the judge didn’t raise any objection to the proposed settlement and she expected he would sign off on it.
"Tony is grateful to the state of New York for swiftly resolving this matter," Swartz said.
"I appreciate what Attorney General James has done and I hope and pray that others in my situation can receive the same measure of justice," Broadwater said in a statement through a lawyer. "We all suffer from destroyed lives."
[USA Today] WASHINGTON—Another day, another social media restriction for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
The Georgia Republican's congressional account was restricted Tuesday after she repeatedly posted an image with an anti-transgender message.
Greene's series of tweets came after the mass shooting Monday at a Nashville Christian school, where three 9-year-old children and three adult staff members were killed.
Police said the suspect identified as transgender, but questions remain in the case.

Good work USA Today, I can almost hear the Le Sigh.
But.
What is an anti-transgender message? Because gender dysphoria is, by its own definition, a mental illness. Not a physical illness because Jack's Spleen doesn't make decisions, a mental illness.
A question does remain though. You got that one right USA Today. Where's the manifesto and what is in it?

I suppose the police will soon be sued for a wrongful death. And automakers.
-The car engine should stop running when the seat belt is disengaged.
-Emergency braking should occur if a door is opened while in motion.
-Doors should not open while vehicle is in motion.
-Transmission should not engage without proper operator identification.

To Skid’s comment: recently rented a Dodge, excuse me, Ram pickup. Backing into a parking space, I opened the door to look back at the tire, truck would not move until door was shut. I know I’m not the only one that sometimes does this. And what’s with the stupid dial shifter thingie anyway? Motor memory reaches for the shift lever, just waving in air…Next thing ya know the headlight dimmer switch will be relocated from the floor…

[NYPOST] Embattled crypto guru Sam Bankman-Fried paid a $40 million bribe to at least one Chinese government official to get access to accounts that had been frozen by Beijing, federal prosecutors alleged Tuesday.
Details of the 2021 bribe were included in a new indictment against Bankman-Fried — the former head of cryptocurrency exchange FTX and hedge fund Alameda Research — filed by federal prosecutors in Manhattan.
The feds allege the shaggy-haired accused fraudster sought to unlock $1 billion in cryptocurrency in accounts that had been seized by the authoritarian state.
"Samuel Bankman-Fried aka ’SBF’ authorized and directed a bribe of at least $40 million to one or more Chinese government officials," the indictment states.
"The purpose of the bribe was to influence and induce one or more Chinese government officials to unfreeze certain Alameda trading accounts containing over $1 billion in cryptocurrency, which had been frozen by Chinese authorities," it adds.
[The Blaze] A prominent independent journalist who has worked doggedly to expose government overreach online received an unexpected visit from the Internal Revenue Service earlier this month. The IRS happened to darken Matt Taibbi's doorstep the same day he testified before Congress about the weaponization of the federal government.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) is demanding accountability as it pertains to this apparent statist "attempt to intimidate a witness before Congress."
What's the background?
Taibbi has been instrumental in the curation and publication of the Twitter Files, which have served to expose the exertion of control by the federal government over speech and information online in recent years.
In one instance, he detailed the "constant and pervasive" communications between Twitter and the FBI concerning what narratives to quash and what claims to censor. He also documented the efforts of California Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff's office to silence the free press and remove unfavorable content on the platform.

^ While I agree with the above assessment, I'm tossing the BS flag. This is news, a media event, a Hollywood presentation (yeah, a bit redundant there). Everything is scripted and staged. Not having some microphone discipline is lame, but there would be handlers and tape marks no matter who was President.

[ZERO] In a humiliating and expensive setback for a military service already suffering through an epic recruiting drought, the US Army has pulled ads of its new "Be All You Can Be" campaign after the arrest of movie actor Jonathan Majors, who serves as the ads' on-screen narrator. Majors is the star of films including "Creed III" and "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania."
The now-shelved television ads, which debuted and have been in heavy rotation during the NCAA men's basketball tournament, are huge-budget, cinematic productions shot on multiple locations and with special effects. The most prominent of the ads, titled "Overcoming Obstacles," shows Majors walking casually throughout scenes depicting the Army in a variety of combat settings from the Revolutionary War until today.
Majors was arrested on Saturday in New York City and charged with strangulation, assault and harassment of a 30-year-old woman, after police responded to a 911 call from a Chelsea apartment.
According to an NYPD statement:
"The victim informed police she was assaulted. Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition."
Citing police sources, TMZ reports that the victim is Majors' girlfriend and that the couple had an argument in a taxi en route home from a Brooklyn bar, after the girlfriend saw another woman texting Majors. The girlfriend was said to have called police the morning after the incident, and exhibited a laceration behind her ear, and marks and redness on her face.
On Sunday, Priya Chaudhry, an attorney representing Majors, said he "is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows" and attributed the incident to the woman having "an emotional crisis." Chaudhry said she has evidence that includes "video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations."
The Army's Enterprise Marketing Office issued a statement saying the Army is "deeply concerned by the allegations...[while Majors] is innocent until proven guilty, prudence dictates that we pull our ads until the investigation into these allegations is complete."

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A new weight loss medication could spur the same transformation that Ozempic and Wegovy have fueled for thousands of Americans — without off-putting side effects.
Researchers at Syracuse University have developed a molecule that activates the same receptors in the brain as the two famous drugs. Obese mice exposed to it lost 12 percent of their weight over just 16 days.
On top of its weight loss prowess, it also came with no symptoms.
Dubbed GEP44 by researchers, the team hopes the molecule can form the basis of a highly effective weight loss treatment with limited drawbacks in the future.
If successful, the team will have a large market too. GLP-1 drugs such as Wegovy, Ozempic and Mounjaro have flown off shelves in recent years as many doctors see them as a magic bullet to fight America's obesity crisis.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that 70 percent of Americans are overweight, and 40 percent are obese.
